CdS quantum dots sensitized platelike WO_3 photoelectrodes were successfully synthesized by a facile hydrothermal method and a modified chemical bath deposition(CBD) technique.To further improve the stability of the p...CdS quantum dots sensitized platelike WO_3 photoelectrodes were successfully synthesized by a facile hydrothermal method and a modified chemical bath deposition(CBD) technique.To further improve the stability of the photoelectrodes in alkaline environment,the platelike WO_3 films were treated with TiCl_4 to form a nano-TiO_2 buffer layer on the WO_3 plate surface before loading CdSQDs.The resulting electrodes were characterized by using XRD,SEM,HR-TEM and UV-vis spectrum.The photocatalytic activity of the resulting electrodes was investigated by degradation of methyl orange(MO) in aqueous solution.The photoelectrochemical(PEC) property of the resulting electrodes was also characterized by the linear sweep voltammetry.The results of both the degradation of MO and photocurrent tests indicated that the as-prepared CdSQDs sensitized WO_3 platelike photoelectrodes exhibit a significant improvement in photocatalytic degradation and PEC activity under visible light irradiation,compared with unsupported CdSQDs electrodes.Significantly,coating the WO_3 plates with nano-TiO_2 obviously facilitate the charge separation and retards the charge-pair recombination,and results in a highest activity for QDsCdS/TiO_2/WO_3 photoelectrodes.展开更多

The fascination of the novel,the proficiency of the translator and her interest in the novel,the publication by famous publishers are the main factors that contribute to the success of Decoded abroad as well as other factors.The success of Decoded gives enlightenment on Chinese literature going abroad in the following aspects: it is primary to choose novels that have universal subjects and interesting plots; it is advised to choose sinologists and excellent native Chinese translators to work together,it and joint efforts from individuals including writers,agents and institutions and the Chinese government.展开更多
The present study is designed to investigate the relationship between pragmatic transfer and foreign language proficiency so as to test the hypotheses of previous researchers on this issue.The result indicates that ev...The present study is designed to investigate the relationship between pragmatic transfer and foreign language proficiency so as to test the hypotheses of previous researchers on this issue.The result indicates that evidence of pragmatic transfer exists in the refusals of learners’English at all three proficiency levels.Furthermore,pragmatic transfer increases as learners’proficiency increases.This phenomenon is possibly related to the traditional English teaching mode in China which put much attention to grammar and form instead of communicative and pragmatic competence development.To solve such problem,pragmatic instruction of English need be advocated:learners’pragmatic awareness should be developed as early as possible and pragmatic knowledge need be added all through the process of language teaching.展开更多

The key parameters of the WPT system include self-inductance, re...The equivalent two-port network model of a middle range wireless power transfer(WPT) system was presented based on strongly coupled multiple resonators. The key parameters of the WPT system include self-inductance, resistance, parasitic capacitance, mutual inductance and S-parameters of coils & resonators were analyzed. The impedance matching method was used to optimize load power and transmission efficiency of the multi-resonator WPT system, and the impedance matching method was realized through adjusting the distances between the coils and resonators. Experiments show that the impedance matching method can effectively improve load power and transmission efficiency for middle range wireless power transfer systems with multiple resonators, at distances up to 3 times the coil radius with efficiency more than 70% and load power also close to 3.5 W.展开更多
