However, for the robust stability problem the system norm is not preserved by the liftingas expected. And the result is generally conservative under the small gain condition. The reason forthe norm di?erence by the lifting is that the state transition operator in the lifted system is zero inthis case. A new approach to the robust stability analysis is proposed. It is to use an equivalentdiscrete-time uncertainty to replace the continuous-time uncertainty. Then the general discretizedmethod can be used for the robust stability problem, and it is not conservative. Examples are givenin the paper. 展开更多

As a result, the linearization error is avoided, and the filtering accuracy is greatly improved. UKF is applied to the attitude determination for gyroless satellite. Simulations are made to compare the new filter with the traditional EKF. The results indicate that under same conditions, compared with EKF, UKF has faster convergence speed, higher filtering accuracy and more stable estimation performance. 展开更多

Firstly the signal processing model of the full polarization pulse Doppler radar is introduced. Secondly the method of correct target separation is discussed, which is the twice detections of energy and polarization state on the two dimension resolution cells of range and velocity of the radar echo. Finally the simulations are performed and the results prove the validity. What's more, multiple range and velocity cheating jamming can be suppressed at the same time if the target and the jamming are different in the polarization domain. 展开更多

The system under study involves time de-lays, jumping parameters and uncertainties. The transition of the jumping parameters in systems isgoverned by a finite-state Markov process. The objective is to design linear memoryless observers suchthat for all uncertainties, the resulting augmented system is regular, impulse free, robust stochasti-cally stable independent of delays and satisfies the proposed guaranteed cost performance. Based onstability theory in stochastic differential equations, a sufficient condition on the existence of robustguaranteed cost observers is derived. Robust guaranteed cost observers are designed in terms of linearmatrix inequalities. A convex optimization problem with LMI constraints is formulated to design thesuboptimal guaranteed cost filters. 展开更多

High frequency surface wave radar (HFSWR) is well proved to have over the horizon (OTH) detection capability to weak aerial targets, such as concealed airplanes or cruise missiles. The most important problem of detection of fast and small targets using HFSWR is earlier warning, i.e. enlargement of detection range oftargets. Therefore, the detection threshold should be decreased as low as possible, but numerous false alarms are brought about at the same time. On this condition, conventional track initiation techniques, which normally require the probability of false alarm to be at the level of 10-6, will initiate enormous false tracks and lead to abnormal operation of tracking system. An adaptive modified hough transform (AMHT) track initiator is proposed accordingly and the relation of detection range to the performance of track initiator is analyzed in this paper. Simulations are performed to confirm the capability of track initiation to fast and small targets in dense clutter by AMHT track initiator. The tolerable probability of false alarm of detector can reach the level of 10 -3 . And it performs better than track initiator based on modified hough transform (MHT). 展开更多

One of the first attempts to derive energy-to-peak performance criteria and state-feedback controller design problem for linear parameter-varying discrete time systems with time delay is provided. Firstly, we present a parameter-dependent l 2-l ∞ performance criterion using a parameter-dependent Lyapunov function. Upon the conditions addressed, an improved parameter-dependent l 2-l ∞ performance criterion is established by the introduction of a slack variable, which exhibits a kind of decoupling between Lyapunov functions and system matrices. This kind of decoupling enables us to obtain more easily tractable conditions for analysis and synthesis problems. Then, the corresponding parameter-dependent state-feedback controller design is investigated upon these performance criteria, with sufficient conditions obtained for the existence of admissible controllers in terms of parameterized linear matrix inequalities. Finally, a numerical example is provided to illustrate the feasibility and advantage of the proposed controller design procedure. 展开更多

The performance of UWB (ultrawide bandwidth) radio systems under an impulsive noise environment is first investigated. In the analysis, the Middleton's class A model is used as a model of the impulsive noise. At first, the statistical characteristics of the inphase and quadrature components of the impulsive noise are investigated, and it is proved that unlike Gaussian noise, these components are dependent especially on the impulsive noise with small impulsive indices. The probability that the high amplitude noise is emitted in the inphase component which becomes firstly larger and then smaller for the larger quadrature component of impulsive noise is presented. Next, the performance of conventional UWB radio systems designed for the Gaussian noise under the impulsive noise is evaluated and numerical results show that the performance of the conventional UWB radio systems is much degraded by the effect of the impulsive noise. Using the dependence between the inphase and quadrature components of the impulsive noise, a novel UWB receiver designed for impulsive noise is proposed and the performance improvement achieved by the receiver is evaluated. Numerical results show that the performance of UWB radio systems is much improved by employing the proposed receiver. 展开更多

The imaging and target detection methods for stepped frequency signal based on the wavelet transform and its power spectrum are investigated. Not only an imaging and target detection algorithm for stepped frequency signal based on the wavelet transform, but also its respective power spectrum are proposed. The multisampling property of stepped frequency signal is studied and wavelet transform is well suited for analyzing the signal. After multisampling property of stepped frequency signal being studied, it is shown that the wavelet transform is appropriate to analyze the signal. Based on the theory, the wavelet power spectrum analysis is applied to obtain the target range profile and the binary wavelet transform is used to perform target detection. To determine a suitable wavelet scaling for imaging of range profile's MMW radar, the distance resolution ΔR technique is proposed. The effectiveness of this new method is evaluated using simulated noisy radar signal. Results show that the proposed method can bring out the exactness and low computational complexity of this method. 展开更多

A method of obtaining terrain outline data from Digital Elevation Map (DEM) for TF control is discussed in order to save store space. The block control model, which is suitable for backstepping design, is given for nonlinear model of aircraft. Making full use of the characteristics of the system and combining block control principle, backstepping technique, a robust controller design method is proposed. Uncertainties in every sub-block are allowed, and can be canceled by using the idea of nonlinear damping. It is proved that the state tracking errors converge to the neighborhood of the origin exponentially. Finally, nonlinear six-degree-of-freedom simulation results for the aircraft model are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed control law. 展开更多

In our design, we distribute the certification authority functions through a threshold secret sharing mechanism, in which each node holds a secret share and multiple nodes jointly provide complete services. Certification authority is not limited in a local neighborhood but can be completed within multi-hop location. In addition, we replace broadcast by multicast to improve system performance and reduce communication overhead. This paper resolves some technical problems of ubiquitous certification authority services, and presents a wieldy multi-hop certification authority algorithm. Ultrawide bandwidth (UWB) radio, a very promising technique carrying information in very short basic pulses, has properties that make it a viable candidate for short-range wireless communications. In this paper, several short-pulse waveforms based on Gaussian genetic monocycle as well as Gaussian pulse waveform, as candidates of basic UWB pulse waveforms, are firstly proposed and investigated. Their spectrum characteristics, bit transmission rate (BTR), and bit error rate (BER) performance in AWGN channel using time hopping spread spectrum (THSS) and pulse position modulation (PPM) are simulated and evaluated. The numerical results are compared and show that the basic pulse waveforms determine the spectrum characteristics of UWB signals and have much effect on the performance of UWB radio system. The performance of UWB radio system achieved by the proposed basic pulse waveforms is much better than that of UWB radio system realized by other used basic pulse waveforms under the uniform conditions. Also, the polarity of these short basic pulses does not affect the performance of UWB radio system. 展开更多

Two new algorithm parameters of expansion radius and mutation radius are defined to construct a small neighborhood and a large neighborhood, then expansion and mutation operations are designed to search the local and global regions of solution space simultaneously by using the two neighborhoods, thus, two-level neighborhood search mechanism is realized. The degree of the diversity in the population is described with the average Euclidean distance among all individuals, and it is used to adjust algorithm parameters adaptively to accelerate convergence and avoid getting stuck at local optima. The algorithm is proved to be convergent and its optimization principle is analyzed. The experiment results of multi-modal function optimization show that the algorithm is effective. 展开更多

The attention is focused on design a linear asymptotically stable filter such that the filtering error system remains robustly stable, and has a L 1 performance constraint and pole constraint in a disk. The new robust L 1 performance criteria and regional pole placement condition are obtained via parameter-dependent Lyapunov functions method. Upon the proposed multiobjective performance criteria and by means of LMI technique, both full-order and reduced-order robust L 1 filter with suitable dynamic behavior can be obtained from the solution of convex optimization problems. Compared with earlier result in the quadratic framework, this approach turns out to be less conservative. The efficiency of the proposed technique is demonstrated by a numerical example. 展开更多

A two-step measurement update is proposed for the filtering of the systems. The first-step update is a linear (or universal linearization) measurement correction which introduces an intermediate estimate, while the second-step nonlinear linearization update produces the final posterior estimate based on the first-step estimate. Since the first measurement correction is a linear or universal linearization update, it provides an accurate linearization reference point for the second nonlinear measurement update. As time delay in the Internet is variable, it is hard to compensate it by traditional methods. Event synchronization communication driven method is proposed to overcome the negative effects induced by time delay. This method is a non-time based method and it can get rid of the effects of time in the control loop of telerobotics. Stability, transparency and synchronization can be maintained in it by event-driven method. Multimodal enhanced telerobotics is put forward with its feedback including force, video, audio and temperature etc. The use of multimodal feedback improves the efficiency and safety of the whole system. Synchronization in multimodal feedback is hard to ensure and event-driven method is also good for it. Experiments on an Internet-based shaft-hole assemblage system show good results by using event synchronization communication driven method and UDP protocol. 展开更多

Products made of the waste cause the micronuclei rate to be increased because of its low radio active action,but the change in abnormal nuclei rate can't reach a remarkable level.It shows that rare-earth waste has a certain effect of causing mutation on aquatic organism.Harmfulness of products made from this waste is decreased largely,and resources can be effectively saved. 展开更多
