Due to the problem of spectrum underuti-lization and energy inefficiency in wireless commu-nications, the research on energy efficient Cogni-tive Radio Networks (CRNs) has received signifi-cant attention in both industry and academia. In this paper, we consider the problem of optimal spectrum selection and transmission parameters de-sign with the objective of minimizing energy con-sumption in CRNs. Since the system state cannot be directly observed due to miss detections and estimation errors, we formulate the optimal spec-trum access problem as a Partially Observable Markov Decision Process (POMDP). In particular, the proposed scheme selects the optimal spectrum, modulation and coding scheme, transmission pow-er, and link layer frame size in each time slot ac-cording to the belief state, which captures all the history information of past actions and observa- tions. The optimal policy can be acquired by sol-ving POMDP problem with linear programming based algorithm Sinmlation results show that sig-nificant energy savings can be achieved by the proposed scheme. 展开更多

The empirical research is conducted in the sample of high-value customers in China mobile market. Based on Lewin behavior model, this pa- per establishes factors-matrix from personal and environmental dimensions. Relationships among multiple factors are tested in the structural equa- tion model and their impacts on customers' de- mands are elaborated. Findings indicate that opera- tional convenience and business brand image have significant effects on sample users' demands. Fur- thermore, annual income, gender, occupation, the needs of access to information and the needs of enriching and improving social relationships are al- so important factors for high-value users. The re- suits may provide further insights into mobile service demand and the model can be popularized to other behavior researches. 展开更多

Analysis of customers' satisfaction provides a guarantee to improve the service quality in call centers.In this paper,a novel satisfaction recognition framework is introduced to analyze the customers' satisfaction.In natural conversations,the interaction between a customer and its agent take place more than once.One of the difficulties insatisfaction analysis at call centers is that not all conversation turns exhibit customer satisfaction or dissatisfaction. To solve this problem,an intelligent system is proposed that utilizes acoustic features to recognize customers' emotion and utilizes the global features of emotion and duration to analyze the satisfaction. Experiments on real-call data show that the proposed system offers a significantly higher accuracy in analyzing the satisfaction than the baseline system. In recent years, the telecommunications have used the concept of NPS(Net Promoter Score) for customer relationship management, but there is neither definite theory research nor instructive instance research. However, this paper summarizes an approach with instance case analysis to improve customer loyalty via NPS data mining, which has extensive and practical significance for tele-companies. First, this paper finds some driven forces of customer loyalty, which are relative to customer consumption such as the call duration, the usage of data, ARPU, etc., by using some innovative reasoning-analysis based on IG(Information Gain) and xg-boost decision-making tree model, so the tele-companies can predict the role of individual customer and form daily monitoring on big data, which will save a lot of NPS survey cost. Second, this paper summarizes how customer group feature impacts the relationship between NPS and financial performance. Taking ARPU value as the performance goals, we divide the sample customers into 6 groups and summarize their characteristics based on k-means clustering, and give targeted suggestion of each group. 展开更多

In a rechargeable wireless sensor network,utilizing the unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)as a mobile base station(BS)to charge sensors and collect data effectively prolongs the network’s lifetime.In this paper,we jointly optimize the UAV’s flight trajectory and the sensor selection and operation modes to maximize the average data traffic of all sensors within a wireless sensor network(WSN)during finite UAV’s flight time,while ensuring the energy required for each sensor by wireless power transfer(WPT).We consider a practical scenario,where the UAV has no prior knowledge of sensor locations.The UAV performs autonomous navigation based on the status information obtained within the coverage area,which is modeled as a Markov decision process(MDP).The deep Q-network(DQN)is employed to execute the navigation based on the UAV position,the battery level state,channel conditions and current data traffic of sensors within the UAV’s coverage area.Our simulation results demonstrate that the DQN algorithm significantly improves the network performance in terms of the average data traffic and trajectory design. 展开更多

In this paper,ambient IoT is used as a typical use case of massive connections for the sixth generation(6G)mobile communications where we derive the performance requirements to facilitate the evaluation of technical solutions.A rather complete design of unsourced multiple access is proposed in which two key parts:a compressed sensing module for active user detection,and a sparse interleaver-division multiple access(SIDMA)module are simulated side by side on a same platform at balanced signal to noise ratio(SNR)operating points.With a proper combination of compressed sensing matrix,a convolutional encoder,receiver algorithms,the simulated performance results appear superior to the state-of-the-art benchmark,yet with relatively less complicated processing. 展开更多

Multilevel coding(MLC)is a commonly used polar coded modulation scheme,but challenging to implement in engineering due to its high complexity and long decoding delay for high-order modulations.To address these limitations,a novel two-level serially concatenated MLC scheme,in which the bitlevels with similar reliability are bundled and transmitted together,is proposed.The proposed scheme hierarchically protects the two bit-level sets:the bitlevel sets at the higher level are sufficiently reliable and do not require excessive resources for protection,whereas only the bit-level sets at the lower level are encoded by polar codes.The proposed scheme has the advantages of low power consumption,low delay and high reliability.Moreover,an optimized constellation signal labeling rule that can enhance the performance is proposed.Finally,the superiority of the proposed scheme is validated through the theoretical analysis and simulation results.Compared with the bit interleaving coding modulation(BICM)scheme,under 256-quadrature amplitude modulation(QAM),the proposed scheme attains a performance gain of 1.0 dB while reducing the decoding complexity by 54.55%. 展开更多

The Service-based Architecture(SBA) is one of the key innovations of 5G architecture that leverage modularized, self-contained and independent services to provide flexible and cloud-native 5G network. In this paper, SBA for Space-Air-Ground Integrated Network(SAGIN) is investigated to enable the 5G integration deployment. This paper proposes a novel Holistic Service-based Architecture(H-SBA)for SAGIN of 5G-Advanced and beyond, i.e., 6G. The H-SBA introduces the concept of end-to-end servicebased architecture design. The "Network Function Service", introduced in 5G SBA, is extended from Control Plane to User Plane, from core network to access network. Based on H-SBA, the new generation of protocol design is proposed, which proposes to use IETF QUIC and SRv6 to substitute 5G HTTP/2.0 and GTP-U. Testing results show that new protocols can achieve low latency and high throughput, making them promising candidate for H-SBA. 展开更多

The rapid development of industry application products has greatly influenced society. It has become essential for some telecommunication companies to focus on customer satisfaction with industrial products used by the government and enterprise customers. Following the review of a previous study of customer satisfaction and with the help of experiential level theory,this article attempts to establish a Satisfaction Factors Model for researching customer satisfaction with industry applications. We chose a product named "Mobile Monitor" and investigated the emotional satisfaction of 127 users and company leaders from different walks of life,and showed that 7 of the product's features affected the customers' overall emotional satisfaction. Lastly,this paper points out management implications of this application based on quantitative results. It presents a preliminary exploration program for customer satisfaction research in this specific field. The empirical research on a specific product based on experimental level theory may serve as a reference for other companies that desire to carry out similar surveys in future. 展开更多

A Novel Uplink Inter-Cell Interference Management Method for TD-LTE System

For OFDM based system with Single-Frequency Networking(SFN) ,ICI(inter-cell interference) ,especially uplink ICI,becomes a bottleneck to improve system performance. Since the conventional interference management scheme with OI(overload indicator) can not show the instantaneous ICI,this paper proposes a method to reduce ICI by utilizing channel reciprocity of TD-LTE system. In the proposed scheme,UE shall make a decision whether to reduce its power or not after predicting the instantaneous ICI level according to the scheduling results. The system simulation results show that the proposed scheme can reduce the uplink ICI effectively and improve the system performance such as system spectrum efficiency,10% user throughput,50% user throughput,packet drop rate etc. significantly while keep 5% cell edge user throughput loss less than 5%. For example,the proposed scheme improved system spectrum efficiency about 50% and 50% user throughput gain is larger than 140%. Meanwhile,the proposed scheme controls the system ICI level and variance effectively. The mean system ICI level and variance are reduced by 4.5dB and 18dB respectively. The proposed scheme can be joint implemented with those existing ICI mitigation methods such as(soft) frequency reuse,power control etc. to further improve the system performance. 展开更多

Biased random walk with restart for essential proteins prediction

Predicting essential proteins is crucial for discovering the process of cellular organization and viability.We propose biased random walk with restart algorithm for essential proteins prediction,called BRWR.Firstly,the common process of practice walk often sets the probability of particles transferring to adjacent nodes to be equal,neglecting the influence of the similarity structure on the transition probability.To address this problem,we redefine a novel transition probability matrix by integrating the gene express similarity and subcellular location similarity.The particles can obtain biased transferring probabilities to perform random walk so as to further exploit biological properties embedded in the network structure.Secondly,we use gene ontology(GO)terms score and subcellular score to calculate the initial probability vector of the random walk with restart.Finally,when the biased random walk with restart process reaches steady state,the protein importance score is obtained.In order to demonstrate superiority of BRWR,we conduct experiments on the YHQ,BioGRID,Krogan and Gavin PPI networks.The results show that the method BRWR is superior to other state-of-the-art methods in essential proteins recognition performance.Especially,compared with the contrast methods,the improvements of BRWR in terms of the ACC results range in 1.4%–5.7%,1.3%–11.9%,2.4%–8.8%,and 0.8%–14.2%,respectively.Therefore,BRWR is effective and reasonable. 展开更多

As the difference of hybrid energy source in stability and economy, thus, this paper focuses on the network with hybrid energy source, and design the utility of each user in the hybrid energy source system from the perspective of stability, economy and environment pollution. A dual power allocation algorithm based on Stackelberg game to maximize the utilities of users and networks is proposed. In addition, an iteration method is proposed which enables all players to reach the Stackelberg equilibrium(SE). Simulation results validate that players can reach the SE and the utilities of users and networks can be maximization, and the green energy can be efficiently used. 展开更多

This letter describes the implementation of a high-precision time and frequency transmission system using a two-way and wavelength division multiplexing scheme over 3,143.6 km of field fiber links,connecting 21 sites between Xi’an and Beijing,China.This scheme incorporates a link noise clean-up system(LNCUS),wherein a controlled very-low-phase noise BVA oscillator acts as an internal frequency source at the relay site to effectively suppress the interference caused by the fiber link noise.Additionally,the high-stability pulse generation technology in the LNCPS provides sufficient short-term stability to significantly improve the stability of the fiber time transfer.The results indicate a time transfer stability in terms of time deviation(TDEV)of less than2.07 ps@1s,5.9 ps@100,000s,and combined uncertainty of less than 49.29 ps for the 3,143.6 km field fiber link.The results represent a significant breakthrough in achieving high-accuracy time transfer and continuous operation over ultralong-span field optical fibers exceeding 3,000 km for the first time.This enabled time transfer and synchronization services over the longest international optical fiber distance,thereby establishing a fundamental basis for constructing a nationwide high-precision time service through optical fiber networks. 展开更多
