The infiltration quality and interfacial bonding behavior were investigated by SEM, EDS, XRD and tensile tests. The results show that there is an obvious interfacial reaction layer between the alloying steel and the Ni/Al2O3 composite ceramic. The interfacial reactive products are (FexAly)3O4 intermetallic phase and (AlxCry)2O3 solid solution. The interracial bonding strength is as high as about 67.5 MPa. The bonding mechanism of X10CrNi 18-8 steel with the composite ceramic is that Ni inside the ceramic bodies dissolves into the alloy melt and transforms into liquid channels, consequently inducing the steel melt infiltrating and filling in the pores and the liquid channels. Moreover, the metallurgical bonding and interfacial reactive bonding also play a key role on the stability of the bonding interface.展开更多

Dry slid...Al-Si/15%SiCp(volume fraction) composites with different silicon contents were fabricated by spray deposition technique, and typical microstructures of these composites were studied by optical microscopy(OM). Dry sliding wear tests were carried out using a block-on-ring wear machine to investigate the effect of applied load range of 10-220 N on the wear and friction behavior of these composites sliding against SAE 52100 grade bearing steel. Scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and energy-dispersive X-ray microanalysis(EDAX) were utilized to examine the morphologies of the worn surfaces in order to observe the wear characteristics and investigate the wear mechanism. The results show that the wear behavior of these composites is dependent on the silicon content in the matrix alloy and the applied load. Al-Si/15%SiCp composites with higher silicon content exhibit better wear resistance in the applied load range. Under lower loads, the major wear mechanisms are oxidation wear and abrasive wear for all tested composites. Under higher loads, severe adhesive wear becomes the main wear mechanisms for Al-7Si/15%SiCp and Al-13Si/15%SiCp composites, while Al-20Si/15%SiCp presents a compound wear mechanism, consisting of oxidation, abrasive wear and adhesion wear.展开更多

A group of coupling dynamic equations of the system, including composite materials parameters, electromagnetism parameters of the motor and structural parameters of the link mechanism, were established by finite element method. Based on the air-gap field of non-uniform airspace of three-phase alternating current motor caused by the vibration eccentricity of rotor, the relation of electromechanical coupling at the actual running state was analyzed. And the motor element, which defines the transverse vibration and torsional vibration of the motor as its nodal displacement, was established. Then, based on the damping element model and the expression of energy dissipation of the 3-dimentional braided composite materials, the damping matrix of the system was established by calculating each order modal damping of the mechanism.展开更多

文摘To enhance the overall performance of cyclotrimethylenetrinitramine(RDX),a modification strategy for RDX via in situ coordination with monometallic polydopamine(PDA)coatings(PDA-Fe,PDA-Cu,and PDA-Pb)was developed. The thermal properties of pristine RDX and its modified variants(RDX@PDA-Fe,RDX@PDA-Cu,RDX@PDA-Pb)were characterized using differential scanning calorimetry(DSC)and accelerating rate calorimetry(ARC).The impact sensitivity of these materials was evaluated via the characteristic drop-height method. The results demonstrate that PDA-metal metal coatings—formed through coordination between PDA and single metal ions(Fe^(3+),Cu^(2+),or Pb^(2+))—significantly enhance RDX′s thermal stability while attenuating its mechanical sensitivity. These coatings act as energy-absorbing barriers against external stimuli, effectively mitigating RDX′s sensitivity.Furthermore, they elevate RDX′s thermal stability by increasing its decomposition onset temperature and accelerating its decomposition kinetics. The monometallic coatings also catalyze RDX′s thermal decomposition and combustion, with Cu and Pb exhibiting particularly distinct catalytic effects.

文摘The advancement of planar micro-supercapacitors(PMSCs)for micro-electromechanical systems(MEMS)has been significantly hindered by the challenge of achieving high energy and power densities. This study addresses this issue by leveraging screen-printing technology to fabricate high-performance PMSCs using innovative composite ink.The ink,a synergistic blend of few-layer graphene(Gt),carbon black(CB),and NiCo_(2)O_(4),was meticulously mixed to form a conductive and robust coating that enhanced the capacitive performance of the PMSCs.The optimized ink formulation and printing process result in a micro-supercapacitor with an exceptional areal capacitance of 18.95 mF/cm^(2)and an areal energy density of 2.63μW·h/cm^(2)at a current density of 0.05 mA/cm^(2),along with an areal power density of 0.025 mW/cm^(2).The devices demonstrated impressive durability with a capacitance retention rate of 94.7%after a stringent 20000-cycle test, demonstrating their potential for long-term applications. Moreover, the PMSCs displayed excellent mechanical flexibility, with a capacitance decrease of only 3.43%after 5000 bending cycles, highlighting their suitability for flexible electronic devices. The ease of integrating these PMSCs into series and parallel configurations for customized power further underscores their practicality for integrated power supply solutions in various technologies.

文摘Hexagonal boron nitride(h-BN)ceramics have become exceptional materials for heat-resistant components in hypersonic vehicles, owing to their superior thermal stability and excellent dielectric properties. However, their densification during sintering still poses challenges for researchers, and their mechanical properties are rather unsatisfactory. In this study,SrAl_(2)Si_(2)O_(8)(SAS),with low melting point and high strength, was introduced into the h-BN ceramics to facilitate the sintering and reinforce the strength and toughness.Then,BN-SAS ceramic composites were fabricated via hot press sintering using h-BN,SrCO_(3),Al_(2)O_(3),and SiO_(2) as raw materials, and effects of sintering pressure on their microstructure, mechanical property, and thermal property were investigated. The thermal shock resistance of BN-SAS ceramic composites was evaluated. Results show that phases of as-preparedBN-SAS ceramic composites are h-BN and h-SrAl_(2)Si_(2)O_(8).With the increase of sintering pressure, the composites’densities increase, and the mechanical properties shew a rising trend followed by a slight decline. At a sintering pressure of 20 MPa,their bending strength and fracture toughness are(138±4)MPa and(1.84±0.05)MPa·m^(1/2),respectively.Composites sintered at 10 MPa exhibit a low coefficient of thermal expansion, with an average of 2.96×10^(-6) K^(-1) in the temperature range from 200 to 1200℃.The BN-SAS ceramic composites prepared at 20 MPa display higher thermal conductivity from 12.42 to 28.42 W·m^(-1)·K^(-1) within the temperature range from room temperature to 1000℃.Notably,BN-SAS composites exhibit remarkable thermal shock resistance, with residual bending strength peaking and subsequently declining sharply under a thermal shock temperature difference ranging from 600 to 1400℃.The maximum residual bending strength is recorded at a temperature difference of 800℃,with a residual strength retention rate of 101%.As the thermal shock temperature difference increase, the degree of oxidation on the ceramic surface and cracks due to thermal stress are also increased gradually.

文摘The effects of Ti-Mo-V composite addition on the evolution of precipitates in marine 10Ni5CrMoV steel andthe corresponding strength and toughness mechanisms were systematically investigated.Ti-Mo-V composite addition canform the Ti_(x)Mo_(y)V_(z)C carbide with TiC as core and Mo-V as shell in the order of Ti(C)→V→Mo.The yield strength of thespecimens is increased from 815 MPa to 876 MPa due to the nanoscale precipitates enhancing the pinning effect on grainboundaries and dislocations, and the contribution of precipitation and dislocation strengthening is increased. The decrease of ductile-brittle transition temperature from−103 to−116℃is attributed to the decrease in equivalent grainsize and the increase of high-angle grain boundary misorientation, which hinders the initiation and propagation of cracks. When the mass fraction of Ti is 0.05%,the strength and cryogenic toughness can be improved synergistically, which alsoprovides a theoretical basis and experimental reference for exploring the more excellent combination of strength andcryogenic toughness of marine 10Ni5CrMoV steel.

文摘Based on the discussion about working mechanism of horizontal reinforcement and that of vertical reinforcement, respectively, the working mechanism of two-direction reinforced composite foundation was studied. The enhancing effect of horizontal reinforcement on vertical reinforced composite foundation was analyzed.A simplified calculation method for such two-direction reinforced working system was presented.A model experiment was carried out to validate the proposed method. In the experiment, geocell reinforcement worked as the horizontal reinforcement, while gravel pile composite foundation worked as the vertical reinforcement. The results show that the calculated curve is close to the measured one.The installation of geosynthetic reinforcement can increase the bearing capacity of composite foundation by nearly 68% at normal foundation settlement, which suggests that the enhancing effect by geosynthetic reinforcement should be taken into account in current design/analysis methods.

文摘Abstract: An alloy steel/alumina composite was successfully fabricated by pressureless infiltration of X10CrNil8-8 steel melt on 30% (mass fraction) Ni-containing alumina based composite ceramic (Ni/Al2O3) at 1 600 ℃. Moreover, the metallurgical bonding and interfacial reactive bonding also play a key role on the stability of the bonding interface.

文摘Al-Si/15%SiCp(volume fraction) composites with different silicon contents were fabricated by spray deposition technique, and typical microstructures of these composites were studied by optical microscopy(OM). Under higher loads, severe adhesive wear becomes the main wear mechanisms for Al-7Si/15%SiCp and Al-13Si/15%SiCp composites, while Al-20Si/15%SiCp presents a compound wear mechanism, consisting of oxidation, abrasive wear and adhesion wear.

文摘A motor-driven linkage system with links fabricated from 3-dimensional braided composite materials was studied. Then, based on the damping element model and the expression of energy dissipation of the 3-dimentional braided composite materials, the damping matrix of the system was established by calculating each order modal damping of the mechanism.

文摘The effect of composite agglomeration process(CAP) on fluoric iron concentrates sintering was investigated. The yield and quality of the sinter are greatly improved when using CAP assisted with heat airflow and enhancing magnesium oxide(MgO) contents. For conventional sintering of fluoric iron concentrate, due to lower viscosity of binding phase and higher fluidity of liquid phase, the sinter is formed with large thin-walled holes and the strength of the sinter is deteriorated consequently. The novel process forms composite agglomerate in which acid pellets are embedded in basic sinter. The pellets are solid with interconnecting crystals of hematite(Fe2O3) and magnetic(Fe3O4).For basic sintering, after adding MgO,the viscosity of the melting phase increases and the fluidity decreases;and calcium and aluminum silico-ferrites and magnesium ferrite are formed with perfect crystals and good sintering microstructure.

文摘In this paper, the 2.6 vol%TiBw/Ti6Al4V composites with network architecture were fabricated by hot press sintering(HPS)at 1100℃ for 1 h,and the quantitative relationships between phases and heat treatment temperatures were established. The results showed that the volume fraction phases changed linearly with a range of solution temperature(930-1010℃)and aging temperature(400-600℃).Moreover,the composites with equiaxed microstructure were obtained due to the static recrystallization after solution treated at 950℃ for 1 h and aging treated at 600℃ for 12 h.The ultimate high temperature tensile strengths were 772,658,392 and 182 MPa,and the elongations were 9.1%,12.5%,28.6%and 35.3%at 400,500,600 and 700℃,respectively.In addition, fractured morphology analysis indicated the excellent strengthening effect of TiBw at a temperature below 600℃.However,the strengthening effect was significantly reduced due to the debonding of matrix and TiBw at 700℃ and caused the cracks to propagate along the grain boundary.
文摘The reactive process for Al/SiC P composite was studied. SiC particles were in situ coated by the exothermal reaction of SiC Ti powder compact in Al melt bath, and easily incorporated into Al melt. The detailed study was carried out to understand the microstructures of the reacted SiC particles. During the reaction and consequent mixing, the successive processes include in situ coating on the reacted SiC particles, coat dissolution and SiC P splitting. The tensile mechanical properties of 6013Al/SiC P composite processed by the present technology showed that the reacted SiC P considerably reinforced the 6013 matrix.

文摘Nanoindentation tests were conducted to investigate the near-surface mechanical properties of the individual components(fiber and matrix) for three-dimensional reinforced carbon/carbon composites(3D C/C).Optical microscope and polarizing light microscope were used to characterize the microstructure of 3D C/C.The microscopy results show that large number of pores and cracks exist at both bundle/matrix interface and pitch carbon matrix. These defects have important effect on the mechanical behavior of 3D C/C.The in situ properties for components of 3D C/C were acquired by nanoindentation technique.Relative to the matrix sample, the fiber samples have more larger values for modulus, stiffness and hardness. However, there is no significant difference of modulus and stiffness among fiber samples with different directions.
