Enhancing convolution for Transformer-based weakly supervised semantic segmentation

Weakly supervised semantic segmentation(WSSS)is a tricky task,which only provides category information for segmentation prediction.Thus,the key stage of WSSS is to generate the pseudo labels.For convolutional neural network(CNN)based methods,in which class activation mapping(CAM)is proposed to obtain the pseudo labels,and only concentrates on the most discriminative parts.Recently,transformer-based methods utilize attention map from the multi-headed self-attention(MHSA)module to predict pseudo labels,which usually contain obvious background noise and incoherent object area.To solve the above problems,we use the Conformer as our backbone,which is a parallel network based on convolutional neural network(CNN)and Transformer.The two branches generate pseudo labels and refine them independently,and can effectively combine the advantages of CNN and Transformer.However,the parallel structure is not close enough in the information communication.Thus,parallel structure can result in poor details about pseudo labels,and the background noise still exists.To alleviate this problem,we propose enhancing convolution CAM(ECCAM)model,which have three improved modules based on enhancing convolution,including deeper stem(DStem),convolutional feed-forward network(CFFN)and feature coupling unit with convolution(FCUConv).The ECCAM could make Conformer have tighter interaction between CNN and Transformer branches.After experimental verification,the improved modules we propose can help the network perceive more local information from images,making the final segmentation results more refined.Compared with similar architecture,our modules greatly improve the semantic segmentation performance and achieve70.2%mean intersection over union(mIoU)on the PASCAL VOC 2012 dataset. 展开更多

Cascading failure modeling and survivability analysis of weak-communication underwater unmanned swarm networks

Cascading failures pose a serious threat to the survivability of underwater unmanned swarm networks(UUSNs),significantly limiting their service ability in collaborative missions such as military reconnaissance and environmental monitoring.Existing failure models primarily focus on power grids and traffic systems,and don't address the unique challenges of weak-communication UUSNs.In UUSNs,cascading failure present a complex and dynamic process driven by the coupling of unstable acoustic channels,passive node drift,adversarial attacks,and network heterogeneity.To address these challenges,a directed weighted graph model of UUSNs is first developed,in which node positions are updated according to ocean-current-driven drift and link weights reflect the probability of successful acoustic transmission.Building on this UUSNs graph model,a cascading failure model is proposed that integrates a normal-failure-recovery state-cycle mechanism,multiple attack strategies,and routingbased load redistribution.Finally,under a five-level connectivity UUSNs scheme,simulations are conducted to analyze how dynamic topology,network load,node recovery delay,and attack modes jointly affect network survivability.The main findings are:(1)moderate node drift can improve survivability by activating weak links;(2)based-energy routing(BER)outperform based-depth routing(BDR)in harsh conditions;(3)node self-recovery time is critical to network survivability;(4)traditional degree-based critical node metrics are inadequate for weak-communication UUSNs.These results provide a theoretical foundation for designing robust survivability mechanisms in weak-communication UUSNs. 展开更多

目的:探讨肿瘤坏死因素样凋亡微弱诱导剂(TWEAK)、肾损伤因子1(KIM-1)及红细胞分布宽度/血小板比值(RPR)与系统性红斑狼疮(SLE)患儿疾病活动度、肾损伤的关系。方法:收集2020年2月至2022年2月襄阳市中心医院42例初诊SLE患儿(SLE组),另... 目的:探讨肿瘤坏死因素样凋亡微弱诱导剂(TWEAK)、肾损伤因子1(KIM-1)及红细胞分布宽度/血小板比值(RPR)与系统性红斑狼疮(SLE)患儿疾病活动度、肾损伤的关系。方法:收集2020年2月至2022年2月襄阳市中心医院42例初诊SLE患儿(SLE组),另收集同期40例健康体检新生儿作为对照组;将SLE患儿根据系统性红斑狼疮疾病活动指数(SLEDAI)评分分为(≤9分)24例和高疾病活动度组(>9分)18例,根据是否伴有肾脏损害分为LN组31例和非LN组11例。检测所有受试对象红细胞分布宽度(RDW)和血小板计数(PLT),并计算RPR;ELISA法检测血清TWEAK、KIM-1水平。结果:SLE组血清TWEAK、KIM-1及RPR水平均显著高于对照组(P<0.05);高疾病活动度组SLE患儿血清TWEAK、KIM-1及RPR水平均显著高于低疾病活动度组(P<0.05);LN组患儿血清TWEAK、KIM-1及RPR水平均显著高于非LN组(P<0.05)。相关性分析显示,RPR与SLEDAI评分呈显著正相关(P<0.05),TWEAK、KIM-1与24 h尿蛋白呈显著正相关(P<0.05)。RPR评估SLE高疾病活动度的AUC为0.744(95%CI 0.657~0.818),显著大于TWEAK、KIM-1评估的AUC分别为0.678(95%CI:0.588~0.760)和0.598(95%CI:0.505~0.686,P<0.05);TWEAK和KIM-1预测LN的AUC分别为0.847(95%CI:0.773~0.905)和0.773(95%CI:0.690~0.842),显著大于RPR预测的AUC为0.645(95%CI:0.555~0.727,P<0.05)。结论:SLE患儿存在TWEAK、KIM-1及RPR水平变化,其中RPR对SLE疾病活动度具有较高的诊断效能,而TWEAK和KIM-1对LN预测价值较高。 展开更多

目的检测肿瘤坏死因子样弱凋亡诱导因子(tumor necrosis factor-like weak inducer of apoptosis,TWEAK)及其受体成纤维细胞生长因子诱导因子14(fibroblast growth factor inducible 14,Fn14)mRNA及蛋白在大鼠骨关节炎(osteoarthritis,... 目的检测肿瘤坏死因子样弱凋亡诱导因子(tumor necrosis factor-like weak inducer of apoptosis,TWEAK)及其受体成纤维细胞生长因子诱导因子14(fibroblast growth factor inducible 14,Fn14)mRNA及蛋白在大鼠骨关节炎(osteoarthritis,OA)关节软骨和滑膜中的表达情况,初步了解TWEAK及其受体Fn14在OA发病中的作用。方法 42只大鼠中随机选取18只行膝关节前交叉韧带切断(anterior cruciate ligamenttransection,ACLT)制作OA模型作为实验组,另外18只接受手术但不切断前交叉韧带作为假手术组,剩余6只作为正常对照组。饲养至1、2、4周时,实验组及假手术组随机各取6只处死,6只正常对照组在第4周处死,采集所有动物关节软骨及滑膜组织,用实时定量PCR及Western blot分别检测TWEAK和Fn14在mRNA及蛋白水平的表达情况。结果术后第2和第4周实验组动物关节滑膜中TWEAK及Fn14的mRNA及蛋白表达水平显著上调,与假手术组及正常对照组比较,差异均有统计学意义(P<0.05);术后第2周实验组动物关节软骨中TWEAK及Fn14的mRNA及蛋白表水平与假手术组及正常对照组比较,差异均有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论 TWEAK及其受体Fn14的mRNA及蛋白表达水平在大鼠OA关节软骨及滑膜组织中的表达显著增高,它们可能是参与OA的重要细胞诱导因子。 展开更多

目的:观察参苓白术散对肿瘤恶病质患者血清肿瘤坏死因子-α(tumor necrosis factor-α,TNF-α)、肿瘤坏死因子弱凋亡诱导剂(tumor necrosis factor-like weak inducer of apoptosis,TWEAK)、成纤维细胞生长诱导因子-14(fibroblast growt... 目的:观察参苓白术散对肿瘤恶病质患者血清肿瘤坏死因子-α(tumor necrosis factor-α,TNF-α)、肿瘤坏死因子弱凋亡诱导剂(tumor necrosis factor-like weak inducer of apoptosis,TWEAK)、成纤维细胞生长诱导因子-14(fibroblast growth factor-inducible 14,Fn14)表达的影响。方法:将64例诊断符合肿瘤恶病质,辨证属于脾气虚证患者,随机分为2组。对照组32例,予以复方氨基酸等营养支持治疗;治疗组32例,在营养支持治疗基础上加用参苓白术散汤剂,水煎服,每日1剂,分3次温服,共用4周。观察治疗前后中医临床证候、生存质量评定(Kanrofsky score,KPS)、TNF-α、TWEAK及其受体早期反应蛋白Fn14。结果:治疗组和对照组脾气虚证患者治疗后比较,中医证候总有效率分别为40.62%和15.62%,治疗组明显优于对照组(P<0.05)。在KPS评分改善率方面,治疗组优于对照组(P<0.05)。2组治疗后TNF-α、TWEAK、Fn14均降低,治疗组治疗前后差异有统计学意义(P<0.05),2组间比较,治疗后治疗组TNF-α、TWEAK、Fn14降低更为显著,差异均有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论:参苓白术散与营养支持相联合,可改善肿瘤恶病质患者中医证候,提高患者体力状况,降低患者体内TNF-α、TWEAK、Fn14表达,提示参苓白术散可能通过该途径起到控制肿瘤恶病质发生的作用。 展开更多

目的:通过检测急性冠脉综合征(acute coronary syndrome,ACS)患者可溶性肿瘤坏死因子样凋亡弱诱导因子(soluble tumor necrosis factor-like weak inducer of apoptosis,sTWEAK)血浆浓度和高敏C反应蛋白(high sensitivity C-reaction pr... 目的:通过检测急性冠脉综合征(acute coronary syndrome,ACS)患者可溶性肿瘤坏死因子样凋亡弱诱导因子(soluble tumor necrosis factor-like weak inducer of apoptosis,sTWEAK)血浆浓度和高敏C反应蛋白(high sensitivity C-reaction protein,hsCRP)血清浓度,探讨sTWEAK、hsCRP对ACS诊断的临床价值。方法:收集2012年9月1日至2013年3月31在重庆医科大学附属第一医院心血管内科住院的ACS患者62例,其中男性47例(75.81%),年龄(66.06±9.89)岁,同时收集同期住院患者中冠脉造影或冠脉CT证实的稳定性心绞痛(stable angina pectoris,SAP)患者19例以及冠脉造影排除冠心病的患者(对照组)29例。ACS组再分为ST段抬高性心肌梗死(ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction,STEMI),非ST段抬高性心肌梗死(non STsegment elevation myocardial infarction,NSTEMI)和不稳定性心绞痛(unstable angina pectoris,UAP)3个亚组,分别有11例,14例和37例。采用酶联免疫吸附法(enzyme linked immunosorbent assay,ELISA)检测患者sTWEAK血浆浓度,免疫比浊法检测hsCRP血清浓度。统计分析3组患者和ACS 3个亚组间sTWEAK血浆浓度、hsCRP血清浓度是否存在差异,ACS组sTWEAK与hsCRP、cTn的相关性,以及三支病变与非三支病变的差异。结果:①ACS组、SAP组和对照组sTWEAK血浆浓度分别为139.95(121.30,155.51)、93.21(84.37,114.08)ng/L和124.24(118.32,135.49)ng/L,显示ACS组较SAP组和对照组高(P=0.000,P=0.007),SAP组较对照组低(P=0.000)。②3组hsCRP血清浓度分别为2.29(0.84,9.77)、1.40(0.47,1.96)mg/L和0.87(0.46,1.75)mg/L,显示ACS组较ASP组和对照组高(P=0.015,P=0.001),SAP组与对照组无统计学差异(P=0.62)。③ACS 3个亚组间sTWEAK血浆浓度无统计学差异(P=0.41),STEMI组和NSTEMI组hsCRP血清浓度高于UAP组(P=0.001,P=0.027),STEMI组与NSTEMI组hsCRP血清浓度无统计学差异(P=0.202)。④ACS组sTWEAK血浆浓度和hsCRP血清浓度无直线相关(P=0.462),hsCRP与cTn呈正相关(r=0.578,P=0.000),三支病变组与非三支病变组的sTWEAK和hsCRP无统计学差异(P=0.533,P=0.569)。结论:sTWEAK血浆浓度、hsCRP血清浓度在ACS患者中升高,对ACS的诊断具有一定价值。 展开更多

Natural geological structures in rock(e.g.,joints,weakness planes,defects)play a vital role in the stability of tunnels and underground operations during construction.We investigated the failure characteristics of a deep circular tunnel in a rock mass with multiple weakness planes using a 2D combined finite element method/discrete element method(FEM/DEM).Conventional triaxial compression tests were performed on typical hard rock(marble)specimens under a range of confinement stress conditions to validate the rationale and accuracy of the proposed numerical approach.Parametric analysis was subsequently conducted to investigate the influence of inclination angle,and length on the crack propagation behavior,failure mode,energy evolution,and displacement distribution of the surrounding rock.The results show that the inclination angle strongly affects tunnel stability,and the failure intensity and damage range increase with increasing inclination angle and then decrease.The dynamic disasters are more likely with increasing weak plane length.Shearing and sliding along multiple weak planes are also consistently accompanied by kinetic energy fluctuations and surges after unloading,which implies a potentially violent dynamic response around a deeply-buried tunnel.Interactions between slabbing and shearing near the excavation boundaries are also discussed.The results presented here provide important insight into deep tunnel failure in hard rock influenced by both unloading disturbance and tectonic activation. 展开更多

An effective method of multiple input multiple output (MIMO) radar weak target detection is proposed based on the Hough transform. The detection time duration is divided into multiple coherent processing intervals (CPIs). Within each CPI, conventional methods such as fast Fourier transform (FFT) is exploit to coherent inte- grating in same range cell. Furthermore, noncoherent integration through several range cells can be implemented by Hough transform among all CPIs. Thus, higher integration gain can be obtained. Simulation results are also given to demonstrate that the detection performance of weak moving target can be dramatically improved. 展开更多

Vehicle positioning with the global navigation satellite system (GNSS) in urban environments faces two problems which are attenuation and dynamic. For traditional GNSS receivers hardly able to track dynamic weak signals, the coupling between all visible satellite signals is ignored in the absence of navigation state feedback, and thermal noise error and dynamic stress threshold are contradictory due to non-coherent discriminators. The vector delay/frequency locked loop (VDFLL) with navigation state feedback and the joint vector tracking loop (JVTL) with coherent discriminator which is a synchronization parameter tracking loop based on maximum likelihood estimation (MLE) are proposed to improve the tracking sensitivity of GNSS receiver in dynamic weak signal environments. A joint vector position tracking loop (JVPTL) directly tracking user position and velocity is proposed to further improve tracking sensitivity. The coherent navigation parameter discriminator of JVPTL, being able to ease the contradiction between thermal noise error and dynamic stress threshold, is based on MLE according to the navigation parameter based linear model of received baseband signals. Simulation results show that JVPTL, which combines the advantages of both VDFLL and JVTL, performs better than both VDFLL and JVTL in dynamic weak signal environments. 展开更多

This paper expresses the efficient outputs of decisionmaking unit(DMU) as the sum of "average outputs" forecasted by a GM(1,N) model and "increased outputs" which reflect the difficulty to realize efficient outputs.The increased outputs are solved by linear programming using data envelopment analysis efficiency theories,wherein a new sample is introduced whose inputs are equal to the budget in the issue No.n + 1 and outputs are forecasted by the GM(1,N) model.The shortcoming in the existing methods that the forecasted efficient outputs may be less than the possible actual outputs according to developing trends of input-output rate in the periods of pre-n is overcome.The new prediction method provides decision-makers with more decisionmaking information,and the initial conditions are easy to be given. 展开更多

In recent years,explosion shock wave has been considered as a signature injury of the current military conflicts.Although strong shock wave is lethal to the human body,weak shock wave can cause many more lasting consequences.To investigate the protection ability and characteristics of flexible materials and structures under weak shock wave loading,the blast wave produced by TNT explosive is loaded on the polyurethane foam with the density of 200.0 kg/m3(F-200)and 400.0 kg/m3(F-400),polyurea with the density of 1100.0 kg/m^(3)(P-1100)and structures composed of the two materials,which are intended for individual protection.Experimental results indicate that the shock wave is attenuated to weak pressure disturbance after interacting with the flexible materials which are not damaged.The shock wave protective capability of single-layer materials is dependent on their thickness,density and microscopic characteristics.The overpressure,maximum pressure rise rate and impulse of transmitted wave decrease exponentially with increase in sample thickness.For the same thickness,F-400 provides better protective capability than F-200 while P-1100 shows the best protective capability among the three materials.In this study,as the materials are not destroyed,F-200 with a thickness more than10.0 mm,F-400 with a thickness more than 4.0 mm,and P-1100 with a thickness more than 1.0 mm can attenuate the overpressure amplitude more than 90.0%.Further,multi-layer flexible composites are designed.Different layer layouts of designed structures and layer thickness of the single-layer materials can affect the protective performance.Within the research range,the structure in which polyurea is placed on the impact side shows the optimal shock wave protective performance,and the thicknesses of polyurea and polyurethane foam are 1.0 mm and 4.0 mm respectively.The overpressure attenuation rate reached maximum value of 93.3%and impulse attenuation capacity of this structure are better than those of single-layer polyurea and polyurethane foam with higher areal density. 展开更多

This paper focuses on the sea-surface weak target detection based on memory-fully convolutional network(M-FCN)in strong sea clutter.Firstly,the constant false alarm rate(CFAR)detection method utilizes a low threshold with high probability of false alarm to detect sea-surface weak targets after non-coherent integration.Reducing the detection threshold can generate a large number of false alarms while increasing the detection rate,and how to suppress a large number of false alarms is the key to improve the performance of weak target detection.Then,the detection result of the low threshold is operated to construct the target matrix suitable for the size of fully convolutional networks and the convolution operator form.Finally,the M-FCN architecture is designed to learn the different accumulation characteristics of the target and the sea clutter between different frames.For improving the detection performance,the historical multi-frame information is memorized by the network,and the end-to-end structure is established to detect sea-surface weak target automatically.Experimental results on measured data demonstrate that the M-FCN method outperforms the traditional track before detection(TBD)method and reduces false alarm tracks by 35.1%,which greatly improves the track quality. 展开更多

In the process of shield tunneling through soft soil layers,the presence of confined water ahead poses a significant threat to the stability of the tunnel face.Therefore,it is crucial to consider the impact of confined water on the limit support pressure of the tunnel face.This study employed the finite element method(FEM)to analyze the limit support pressure of shield tunnel face instability within a pressurized water-containing layer.Subsequently,a multiple linear regression approach was applied to derive a concise solution formula for the limit support pressure,incorporating various influencing factors.The analysis yields the following conclusions:1)The influence of confined water on the instability mode of the tunnel face in soft soil layers makes the displacement response of the strata not significant when the face is unstable;2)The limit support pressure increases approximately linearly with the pressure head,shield tunnel diameter,and tunnel burial depth.And inversely proportional to the thickness of the impermeable layer,soil cohesion and internal friction angle;3)Through an engineering case study analysis,the results align well with those obtained from traditional theoretical methods,thereby validating the rationality of the equations proposed in this paper.Furthermore,the proposed equations overcome the limitation of traditional theoretical approaches considering the influence of changes in impermeable layer thickness.It can accurately depict the dynamic variation in the required limit support pressure to maintain the stability of the tunnel face during shield tunneling,thus better reflecting engineering reality. 展开更多

To acquire global navigation satellite system(GNSS)signals means four-dimension acquisition of bit transition,Doppler frequency,Doppler rate,and code phase in high-dynamic and weak signal environments,which needs a high computational cost.To reduce the computations,this paper proposes a twostep compressed acquisition method(TCAM)for the post-correlation signal parameters estimation.Compared with the fast Fourier transform(FFT)based methods,TCAM uses fewer frequency search points.In this way,the proposed method reduces complex multiplications,and uses real multiplications instead of improving the accuracy of the Doppler frequency and the Doppler rate.Furthermore,the differential process between two adjacent milliseconds is used for avoiding the impact of bit transition and the Doppler frequency on the integration peak.The results demonstrate that due to the reduction of complex multiplications,the computational cost of TCAM is lower than that of the FFT based method under the same signal to noise ratio(SNR). 展开更多

We have proposed StrictWeak Hybrid Coherence (SWHC) model which can eliminate false sharing and provide more temporal andspatial locality, we also provide a scheme to keep sequential coherent. A unified constitutive model is proposed to describe the mechanical behavior of weak sandstone at different time scales.The instantaneous behavior of this material is characterized by the Drucker-Prager elastoplastic model,while the time-dependent deformation is described in terms of the microstructure evolution.This evolution is numerically simulated by progressive degradation of the elastic modulus and failure strength of the material.The proposed model is used to simulate the instantaneous triaxial compression and the multi-loading creep tests.Generally,good concordance is obtained between numerical simulations and experimental data.The proposed model is capable of describing the main features of these rocks,particularly irreversible deformations,pressure dependency,volumetric transition between compaction and dilatancy,and creep behavior. 展开更多

Flexural and eigen-buckling analyses for rectangular steel-concrete partially composite plates(PCPs)with interlayer slip under simply supported and clamped boundary conditions are conducted using the weak form quadrature element method(QEM).Both of the derivatives and integrals in the variational description of a problem to be solved are directly evaluated by the aid of identical numerical interpolation points in the weak form QEM.The effectiveness of the presented numerical model is validated by comparing numerical results of the weak form QEM with those from FEM or analytic solution.It can be observed that only one quadrature element is fully competent for flexural and eigen-buckling analysis of a rectangular partially composite plate with shear connection stiffness commonly used.The numerical integration order of quadrature element can be adjusted neatly to meet the convergence requirement.The quadrature element model presented here is an effective and promising tool for further analysis of steel-concrete PCPs under more general circumstances.Parametric studies on the shear connection stiffness and length-width ratio of the plate are also presented.It is shown that the flexural deflections and the critical buckling loads of PCPs are significantly affected by the shear connection stiffness when its value is within a certain range. 展开更多
