The dimension and structure of valves and cylinders were designed by theoretical calculation. The dynamic simulation model of hydraulic system of AT was established by ITI-SimulationX. Simulation results and theoretical design results were compared to confirm the simulation model. Based on the confirmed simulation model, the simulation results of pressure and flow of the hydraulic system were analyzed. The dynamic simulation method is very helpful for designing and analyzing the performance of hydraulic system and further optimization design. The theoretical design method and dynamic simulation model are feasible for the real industrial applications. The research results can be used in hydraulic system design and optimization.展开更多

A mathematical model is built to calculate the transmission power loss and the hydraulic system leakage. Based on this model, a flow-based control strategy is developed for EOP to satisfy the system flow requirement. This control strategy is verified through the forward driving simulation. The results indicate that there is a best combination for the size of mechanical oil pump(MOP) and EOP in terms of minimum energy consumption. In order to get a quick and smooth starting process, control strategies of the EOP and the on-coming clutch are proposed. The test environment on a prototype vehicle is built to verify the feasibility of the integrated EOP and its control strategies. The results show that the selected EOP can satisfy the flow requirement and a quick and smooth starting performance is achieved in the start–stop function. This research has a high value for the forward design of EOP in automatic transmissions with respect to efficiency improvement and start–stop function.展开更多

In the present study,hydraulic and thermal behavior of an automatic transmission nano-fluid(ATNF) inside a tube with a twisted tape has been investigated.The heat transfer improvement and pressure drop of transmission...In the present study,hydraulic and thermal behavior of an automatic transmission nano-fluid(ATNF) inside a tube with a twisted tape has been investigated.The heat transfer improvement and pressure drop of transmission oil for each of case of using twisted tape and nano-particles were also examined separately and compared with each other.The Cu O nano-particles were used to prepare the ATNF.The effects of different Reynolds numbers and different mass fractions of nano-particle were investigated.The results showed that applying nano-particles and twisted tape simultaneously increases both the pressure drop and Nusselt number,on average by about 53% and 76%,respectively.By using a parameter,namely thermal performance index η,the effect of increasing heat transfer and pressure drop was studied simultaneously.The heat transfer improvement predominates the pressure drop increment in all cases.It was observed that the highest thermal performance of 1.9 was obtained at Re=634 and Φ=2%.Furthermore,regarding the increment of the Nu number,it was shown that the use of twisted tapes individually could increase the average Nu number by 41%,while the max increment arising from individual use of 2% nano-particles is 13%,so using twisted tape is a more effective-technique for this case study.展开更多

Therefore, its control is one of the key technologies of electric vehicles. Based on the discussion about the demands to the engine-generator set in tracked vehicles, the detailed function of engine-generator and the control strategy are determined. The hardware and software of the control system are also developed and tested in a prototype vehicle. The experiment results show that the control system has good reliability and can satisfy the power requirements of vehicles under all operating conditions.展开更多
