A Schiff base ligand 4-[indol-3-yl]-but-3-en-2-one benzoyl hydrazone (HL), and its four transition metal complexes (ML2,M=Cu(, Ni(, Zn( and Co() have been prepared and characterized by means of elemental analysis, EI-...A Schiff base ligand 4-[indol-3-yl]-but-3-en-2-one benzoyl hydrazone (HL), and its four transition metal complexes (ML2,M=Cu(, Ni(, Zn( and Co() have been prepared and characterized by means of elemental analysis, EI-MS, molar conductivity, IR, UV-Vis and 1H NMR. The results showed that HL as a bidentate ligand coordinated with transition metal ions to form four-coordination complexes. The antibacterial activity was studied by using the filter scraps diffusion method, and the results indicated that the ligand and the complexes had a low bacteriostatic activity against S. Aureu, P. Aeruginosa and E. Coli. The low in vitro antitumor activity of the title complexes was also observed by using MTT method against KB, A2780, Bel7402 and HELF.展开更多

The results revealed that the trans CN with R configuration of the title compounds are more stable than their S configuration and there was a negative charge hole in the Schiff base, which shows the high possibility of forming stable complexe because metal ion is easy to enter this negative charge hole.展开更多

Its crystal structure was determined by single crystal X ray diffraction techniques. The crystal belongs to monoclinic with space group P21/c. The cell parameters are: a=0.82510(11)nm, b=0.68870(9)nm, c=2.3007(3)nm, β =100.847(2)° , V=1.2840(3)nm3, Z=2, Dc=1.742Mg· m- 3, μ (MoKα )=1.723mm- 1, F(000)=684. The structure was refined to final R1=0.0267, wR2=0.0735. The complex molecule structure has dinuclear centrosymmetric dimeric structure in which a planar Cu2O2 core features. The ligand N (2,4 dihydroxybenzalidene) o aminobenzoic acid dianion is μ 2 tridentate, chelating one copper? ion via one nitrogen, one hydroxy oxygen atom and one carboxylate oxygen atom, and the hydroxy oxygen atom simultaneously coordinates to the other copper? ion of the dimer. The theoretical simulation revealed that the cis- and trans-(isomers) might co...One novel complex of ()99mTc-salicylidene-tyrosine Schiff base was designed and synthesized, and its biodistribution was investigated. The theoretical simulation revealed that the cis- and trans-(isomers) might co-exist in aqueous solution. A yield higher than 90% under the optimal condition of synthesis was obtained. Good water-solubility was demonstrated. Very little uptakes in muscle, brain, heart and S-180 sarcoma, as well as very rapid blood clearance were revealed in mice. Good accumulation in bone was shown. At 1 h postinjection the bone uptake was 10.9%ID/g. At 3 and 5 h postinjection, bone-to-muscle ratios were 19.0 and 9.3, and bone-to-blood ratios were 31.6 and 28.9, respectively. The result indicates a bone imaging potency of the complex.展开更多
