The data set was from 4 digitally recording long-period and broadband stations of CDSN. We carried out the inversion based on the partitioned waveform inversion (PWI). It partitions the large-scale optimization problem into a number of independent small-scale problems. We adopted surface waveform inversion with an equal block (2((2() discretization in order to acquire the images of shear velocity structure at different depths (from surface to 430 km) in the crust and upper-mantle. The resolution of all these anomalies has been established with (check-board( resolution tests. These results show significant difference in velocity, lithosphere and asthenosphere structure between South China Sea and its adjacent regions.展开更多

The current approach chooses the miss distance as the outcome of the conflict. Different optimal guidance laws are investigated, and feasible conditions are analyzed for the attacker to accomplish an attacking task. For some given conditions, the attacker cannot intercept the target by only using a one-to-one optimal pursuit guidance law; thus, a guidance law for the attacker to reach a critical safe value is investigated.Specifically, the guidance law is divided into two parts. Before the engagement time between the defender and the attacker, the attacker uses this derived guidance law to guarantee that the evasion distance from the defender is safe, and that the zero-effort-miss(ZEM) distance between the attacker and the target is the smallest. After that engagement time, the attacker uses the optimal one-toone guidance law to accomplish the pursuit task. The advantages and limited conditions of these derived guidance laws are also investigated by using nonlinear simulations.展开更多

Mismatches easily exist in traditional binocular stereo matching due to the repeatable or similar features of binocular images. In order to reduce the probability of mismatching and improve the measure precision, a four-camera measurement system which can add extra matching constraints and offer multiple measurements is applied in this work. Moreover, a series of different checkerboard patterns are projected onto the object to obtain dense feature points and remove mismatched points. Finally, the 3D model is generated by performing Delaunay triangulation and texture mapping on the point cloud obtained by four-view matching. This method was tested on the 3D reconstruction of a terracotta soldier sculpture and the Buddhas in the Mogao Grottoes. Their point clouds without mismatched points were obtained and less processing time was consumed in most cases relative to binocular matching. These good reconstructed models show the effectiveness of the method.展开更多

Three selection strategies for desired performance indexes are presented. An acceleration autopilot design methodology based on output feedback and optimization is proposed. Performance and robustness comparisons between the two-loop and classical three-loop topologies are made. Attempts to improve the classical three-loop topology are discussed. Despite the same open-loop structure, the classical three-loop autopilot shows distinct characteristics from a two-loop autopilot with PI compensator. Both the two-loop and three-loop topologies can stabilize a static unstable missile. However, the finite actuator resource is the crucial factor dominating autopilot function.展开更多

The governing equations of fractional order generalized thermoelasticity with three-phase lag model for functionally graded materials(FGM)(i.e., material with spatially varying material properties) are established. The analytical solution in the transform domain is obtained by using the eigenvalue approach. The inversion of Laplace transform is done numerically. The graphical results indicate that the fractional parameter has significant effects on all the physical quantities. Thus, we can consider the theory of fractional order generalized thermoelasticity an improvement on studying elastic materials.展开更多

In addition, the obstacle avoidance schemes of any point on the critical curve during the multi-obstacles avoidance are given. Through prediction, the insertion point for the obstacle avoidance can be obtained and the flight path can be replanned. Taking the Pythagorean Hodograph(PH) curve trajectory re-planning as an example, the three-dimensional direct obstacle avoidance method in dynamic space is tested. Firstly, two-dimensional(2D) attribute scattering centers of targets are extracted from 2D SAR images. Secondly, similarity measure is developed based on 2D attributed scatter centers' location, type, and radargrammetry principle between multiple SAR images. By this similarity, we can associate 2D scatter centers and then obtain candidate 3D scattering centers. Thirdly, these candidate scattering centers are clustered in 3D space to reconstruct final 3D positions. Compared with presented methods, the proposed method has a capability of describing distributed scattering center, reduces false and missing 3D scattering centers, and has fewer restrictionson modeling data. Finally, results of experiments have demonstrated the effectiveness of the proposed method.展开更多

In this method, the different geometry is taken for theoretically modeling on B-IT missiles' motion within the threedimensional style without information loss, and meanwhile, Liegroup is utilized to describe the line-of-sight (LOS) azimuth when the terminal angular constraints are considered. Under these cir- cumstances, a guidance kinematics model is established based on differential geometry. Then, corresponding to no terminal angular constraint and terminal angular constraints, guidance laws are re- spectively designed by using proportional control and generalized proportional-derivative (PD) control in SO(3) group. Eventually, simulation results validate that this developed method can effectively avoid the complexity of pure Lie-group method and the information loss of the traditional decoupling method as well.展开更多
