Construction of core@double-shell structured energetic composites with simultaneously enhanced thermal stability and safety performance

The poor thermal stability and high sensitivity severely hinder the practical application of hexanitrohexaazaisowurtzitane(CL-20).Herein,a kind of novel core@double-shell CL-20 based energetic composites were fabricated to address the above issues.The coordination complexes which consist of natural polyphenol tannic acid(TA) and Fe~Ⅲ were chosen to construct the inner shell,while the graphene sheets were used to build the outer shell.The resulting CL-20/TA-Fe~Ⅲ/graphene composites exhibited simultaneously improved thermal stability and safety performance with only 1 wt% double-shell content,which should be ascribed to the intense physical encapsulation effect from inner shell combined with the desensitization effect of carbon nano-materials from outer shell.The phase transition(ε to γ) temperature increased from 173.70 ℃ of pure CL-20 to 191.87℃ of CL-20/TA-Fe~Ⅲ/graphene composites.Meanwhile,the characteristic drop height(H_(50)) dramatically increased from 14.7 cm of pure CL-20 to112.8 cm of CL-20/TA-Fe~Ⅲ/graphene composites,indicating much superior safety performance after the construction of the double-shell structure.In general,this work has provided an effective and versatile strategy to conquer the thermal stability and safety issues of CL-20 and contributes to the future application of high energy density energetic materials. 展开更多

In this paper,the numerical simulation method is used to study the ballistic performances of hourglass lattice sandwich structures with the same mass under the vertical incidence of fragments.Attention is paid to elucidating the influences of rod cross-section dimensions,structure height,structure layer,and rod inclination angle on the deformation mode,ballistic performances,and ability to change the ballistic direction of fragments.The results show that the ballistic performances of hourglass lattice sandwich structures are mainly affected by their structural parameters.In this respect,structural parameters optimization of the hourglass lattice sandwich structures enable one to effectively improve their ballistic limit velocity and,consequently,ballistic performances. 展开更多

A low-cost 1D cobalt-based coordination polymer(CP)[Co(BGPD)(DMSO)_(2)(H_(2)O)_(2)](Co-BD;H2BGPD=N,N'-bis(glycinyl)pyromellitic diimide;DMSO=dimethyl sulfoxide)was synthesized by a simple method,and its crystal structure was characterized.In a three-electrode system,Co-BD,as the electrode material for supercapacitors,achieved a specific capacitance of 830 F·g^(-1)at 1 A·g^(-1),equivalent to a specific capacity of 116.4 mAh·g^(-1),and exhibited high-rate capability,reaching 212 F·g^(-1)at 20 A·g^(-1).Impressively,Co-BD||rGO(reduced graphene oxide),representing an asymmetrical supercapacitor,owns a higher energy density of 14.2 Wh·kg^(-1)at 0.80 kW·kg^(-1),and an excellent cycle performance(After 4000 cycles at 1 A·g^(-1),the capacitance retention was up to 94%).CCDC:2418872. 展开更多

The present study introduces a screw-pressing charging method to tackle deficiencies in automation and charge uniformity during the melt-casting of polymer-based energetic materials.To ensure the safety of the experiments,this study used inert materials with similar physical properties to partially substitute for the actual energetic components in the preparation of simulant materials.By thoroughly analyzing slurry physical properties,a simulation framework and an extensive performance evaluation method were developed.Such tools guide the design of the structure and configuration of process parameters.Results demonstrate that employing the Pin element significantly enhances radial mixing within the screw,minimizes temperature variations in the slurry,and improves both efficiency and safety in the mixing process.Further,adjustments such as widening the cone angle of the barrel,modifying the solid content of the slurry,and varying the speed of the screw can optimize the mechanical and thermal coupling in the flow field.These adjustments promote higher-quality slurry and create a safer production environment for the extrusion process. 展开更多

The irreversible phase transition and interface side reactions during the cycling process severely limit the large scale application of nickel-rich layered oxides Li[Ni_(x)Co_(y)Mn_(1−x−y)]O_(2)(NCM,x>0.8).Herein,we have designed LiNi_(0.8)Co_(0.1)Mn 0.1 O_(2)cathodes modified by Nb/Al co-doping and LiNbO_(3)/LiAlO_(2)composite coating.Detailed characterization reveals that Nb/Al co-doping can stabilize the crystal structure of the cathodes and expand the layer spacing of the layered lattice,thereby increasing the diffusion rate and reversibility of Li^(+).And the composite coatings can improve the electrochemical kinetic and inhibit the erosion of acidic substances by hindering direct contact between the cathodes and electrolyte.As a result,the Ni-rich cathodes with dual modification can still exhibit a higher capacity of 184.02 mA·h/g after 100 cycles with a capacity retention of up to 98.1%,and can still release a capacity of 161.6 mA·h/g at a high rate of 7 C,meanwhile,it shows excellent thermal stability compared to bare NCM.This work provides a new perspective for enhancing electrochemical properties of cathodes through integrated strategies. 展开更多

During high-speed flight,both thermal and mechani-cal loads can degrade the electrical performance of the antenna-radome system,which can subsequently affect the performance of the guidance system.This paper presents a method for evalu-ating the electrical performance of the radome when subjected to thermo-mechanical-electrical(TME)coupling.The method involves establishing a TME coupling model(TME-CM)based on the TME sharing mesh model(TME-SMM)generated by the tetrahedral mesh partitioning of the radome structure.The effects of dielectric temperature drift and structural deformation on the radome’s electrical performance are also considered.Firstly,the temperature field of the radome is obtained by tran-sient thermal analysis while the deformation field of the radome is obtained by static analysis.Subsequently,the dielectric varia-tion and structural deformation of the radome are accurately incorporated into the electrical simulation model based on the TME-SMM.The three-dimensional(3D)ray tracing method with the aperture integration technique is used to calculate the radome’s electrical performance.A representative example is provided to illustrate the superiority and necessity of the pro-posed method.This is achieved by calculating and analyzing the changes in the radome’s electrical performance over time dur-ing high-speed flight. 展开更多

With very complex geological environment and tectonic background, it is one of the seismically active areas. In the paper, the teleseismic records were selected from 16 national, local and mo-bile stations, including 4 very-wide-band mobile stations of PASSCAL. And nearly 2 000 receiver functions were extracted. Two measuring lines are 650 km and 450 km, respectively and across some major tectonic units in Western Yunnan. It is indicated that Nujiang might be a seam characterized by underthrusting. The western and eastern boundaries of Sichuan-Yunnan rhombus block, i.e., Honghe and Xiaojiang faults, might be an erection seam or collision belt. Panxi tectonic zone still has the characteristics of continental rift valley, that is, the surface is hollow and the upper mantle is upwarping. The tectonic situation in Western Yunnan is of certain regulation with the interlacing distribution of orogenic zone and seam. The crustal thickness decreases gradually from the north to the south and the S wave velocity is globally lower here. 展开更多

The increasingly complex battlefield environment requests much closer connection in a team having both manned and unmanned aerial vehicles(MAVs and UAVs). This special heterogeneous team structure causes demands for effective organizational structure design solutions. Implementing adjustable autonomy in the organizational structure, the expected evaluation function is established based on the physical resource, intelligent resource, network efficiency, network vulnerability and task execution reliability. According to the above constraints, together with interaction latency, decision-making information processing capacity, and decision-making latency, we aim to find a preferential organizational structure. The proposed organizational structure includes cooperative relationships, supervisory control relationships, and decision-making authorization relationships. In addition,by considering the influence on the intelligent support capabilities and the task execution reliability created by adjustable autonomy, it helps to build the proposed organizational structure designed with certain degree of flexibility to deal with the potential changes in the unpredictable battlefield environment. Simulation is conducted to confirm our design to be valid. And the method is still valid under different battlefield environments and interventions. 展开更多

Heating-only fan coil(HFC)is one of the suited end users,which is not only compact but also highly efficient.And the major factors affecting the heat dissipation performance of HFC include leakage through coil bypass,distance between fan and coil,fan structure and air inlet type.Under natural air convection or forced,experimental studies were made on the effects of these factors upon the heat dissipation performance of HFC.The results show that:1)After reducing the leakage through coil bypass,the heat dissipation of HFC increases 16.9% under natural convection,and increases 8.3% under forced convection.2)After the distance between fan and coil be raised from 23.2cm to 41.7cm,the heat dissipation of HFC decreases 21.3% under natural convection,but increases12.8% under forced convection.3)After changing the fan structure,the heat dissipation of HFC increases 41.8% under natural convection,and the heat dissipation per motor power increases 96.1% under forced convection.4)The heat dissipations of HFC with round pass,slit and strip type of air inlet are different,whose proportion is about 100%,110%,136% under natural convection,and 100%,105%,116% under forced convection. 展开更多

3D-Honeycombed CL-20 structures with low critical size of detonation have been fabricated successfully for intelligent weapon systems using a micro-flow direct ink writing(DIW) technology.The CL-20-based explosive ink... 3D-Honeycombed CL-20 structures with low critical size of detonation have been fabricated successfully for intelligent weapon systems using a micro-flow direct ink writing(DIW) technology.The CL-20-based explosive ink for DIW technology was prepared by a two-component adhesive system with waterborne polyurethane(WPU) and ethyl cellulose(EC).Not only the preparation of the explosive ink but also the principle of DIW process have been investigated systematically.The explosive ink displayed stro ng shea rthinning behavior that permitted layer-by-laye r deposition from a fine nozzle onto a substrate to produce complex shapes.The EC content was varied to alter the pore structure distribution and rheological behavior of ink samples after curing.The deposited explosive composite materials are of a honeycombed structure with high porosity,and the pore size distribution increases with the increase of EC content.No phase change was observed during the preparation process.Both WPU and EC show good compatibility with CL-20 particles.Apparently high activation energy was realized in the CL-20-based composite ink compared with that of the refined CL-20 due to the presence of non-energetic but stable WPU.The detonation performance of the composite materials can be precisely controlled by an adjustment in the content of binders.The 3D honeyco mbed CL-20 structures,which are fabricated by DIW technology,have a very small critical detonation size of less than 69 μm,as demonstrated by wedge shaped charge test.The ink can be used to create 3D structures with complex geometries not possible with traditional manufacturing techniques,which presents a bright future for the development of intelligent weapon systems. 展开更多

Influences of melt spinning on electrochemical hydrogen storage performance of nanocrystalline and amorphous Mg_2Ni-type alloys 被引量:4

In order to improve the electrochemical hydrogen storage performance of the Mg2Ni-type electrode alloys, Mg in the alloy was partially substituted by La, and the nanocrystalline and amorphous Mg2Ni-type Mg20-xLaxNi10 (x-=0, 2) alloys were synthesized by melt-spinning technique. The microstructures of the as-spun alloys were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The electrochemical hydrogen storage properties of the experimental alloys were tested. The results show that no amorphous phase is detected in the as-spun Mg20Ni10 alloy, but the as-spun Mg18La2Ni10 alloy holds a major amorphous phase. As La content increases from 0 to 2, the maximum discharge capacity of the as-spun (20 m/s) alloys rises from 96.5 to 387.1 mA.h/g, and the capacity retaining rate (S20) at the 20th cycle grows from 31.3% to 71.7%. Melt-spinning engenders an impactful effect on the electrochemical hydrogen storage performances of the alloys. With the increase in the spinning rate from 0 to 30 m/s, the maximum discharge capacity increases from 30.3 to 135.5 mA.h/g for the Mg20Ni10 alloy, and from 197.2 to 406.5 mA-h/g for the Mg18La2Ni10 alloy. The capacity retaining rate (S20) of the Mg2oNi10 alloy at the 20th cycle slightly falls from 36.7% to 27.1%, but it markedly mounts up from 37.3% to 78.3% for the Mg18La2Ni10 alloy. 展开更多

The La-Mg-Ni-based A2B7-type La0.5Mg0.2Ni3.3Co0.2Six (x=0-0.2) electrode alloys were prepared by casting and annealing. The influences of the additional silicon and the annealing treatment on the structure and electrochemical performances of the alloys were investigated systemically. Both of the analyses of XRD and SEM reveal that the as-cast and annealed alloys are of a multiphase structure, involving two main phases (La, Mg)2Ni7 and LaNi5 as well as one minor phase LaNi3. The addition of Si and annealing treatment bring on an evident change in the phase abundances and cell parameters of (La, Mg)2Ni7 and LaNi5 phase for the alloy without altering its phase structure. The phase abundances decrease from 74.3% (x=0) to 57.8% (x=0.2) for the (La, Mg)2Ni7 phase, and those of LaNi5 phase increase from 20.2% (x^0) to 37.3% (x=0.2). As for the electrochemical measurements, adding Si and performing annealing treatment have engendered obvious impacts. The cycle stability of the alloys is improved dramatically, being enhanced from 80.3% to 93.7% for the as-annealed (950 ℃) alloys with Si content increasing from 0 to 0.2. However, the discharge capacity is reduced by adding Si, from 399.4 to 345.3 mA.h/g as the Si content increases from 0 to 0.2. Furthermore, such addition makes the electrochemical kinetic properties of the alloy electrodes first increase and then decrease. Also, it is found that the overall electrochemical properties of the alloys first augment and then fall with the annealing temperature rising. 展开更多

The structure and properties of high chromium white cast iron in different treatment states were studied. Using X ray diffraction method, observing their metallograph and measuring their microhardness, the phases involved in the iron were determined. The notch toughness, macrohardness and the fractograph of the samples are compared and their performance was determined, which mainly depends on the matrix structure. Relatively good comprehensive properties can be obtained in the tempering state. Improvements have been made on the commonly used tempering standard. Tempering for a short period at low temperature can improve the materials′ service performance obviously. 展开更多

For the purpose of improving the electrochemical cycle stability of the La-Mg-Ni based A2BT-type electrode alloys, both reducing Mg content and substituting La with Pr were adopted. The Lao.8-xPrxMg0.2Ni3.15Co0.2A10.1Si0.05 (x=0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4) electrode alloys were fabricated by casting and annealing. The investigation on the structures and electrochemical performances of the alloys was performed. The obtained results reveal that the as-cast and annealed alloys comprise two major phases, (La, Mg)2Ni7 phase with the hexagonal Ce2NiT-type structure and LaNi5 phase with the hexagonal CaCus-type structure, as well as a little residual LaNi3 phase. It is also found that the addition of Pr element observably affects the electrochemical hydrogen storage characteristics of the alloys, just as the discharge capacity and high rate discharge ability (HRD) first rise then fall with the growing of Pr content, and among all the alloys, the as-cast and annealed (x=0.3) alloys generate the largest discharge capacities of 360.8 and 386.5 mA.h/g, respectively. Additionally, the electrochemical cycle stability of all the alloys markedly grows with the increase of Pr content. The capacity retaining rate (S100) at the 100th charging and discharging cycle is enhanced from 64.98% to 77.55% for the as-cast alloy, and from 76.60% to 95.72% for the as-annealed alloy by rising Pr content from 0 to 0.4. Furthermore, the substitution of Pr for La results in first increase and then decrease in the hydrogen diffusion coefficient (D), the limiting current density (IL) as well as the electrochemical impedance. 展开更多

By taking a rolling-spring isolation system as the study object, the effects of the non-uniform distribution of rolling friction coefficient on its isolation performance were analyzed by a compiled computer program. The results show that the errors associated with the structural maximum relative displacement, acceleration and residual displacement due to ignoring the friction variability sequentially grow. This rule is weakened by the spring action, however, the unreasonable spring constant will cause sympathetic vibration. Under the condition of large friction variability, in the calculation of the structural maximum relative displacement and acceleration, the friction variability should be considered. When the structural residual displacement is concerned, the variability of rolling friction coefficient should be fully considered regardless of the friction variability. 展开更多

Flexural behavior of in-plane bending glass structures for design method

Experimental study was carried out on the in-plane bending behavior of glass plates without lateral supports, and the effects of the factors, such as height-to-span ratio, on the stability of glass panels were studied. Results show that the in-plane bending glass plates with both ends simply supported and their upper edge free lose overall stability under loads, which belongs to the limit-point type of instability. It is found that the buckling load increases linearly with the increase of height-to-span ratio of the glass plates. The lateral stress of in-plane bending glass plates without lateral supports increases linearly under loads; while the large-area stress increases nonlinearly and the lateral stress is not the controlling factor of instability. In finite element analysis, the first buckling mode is regarded as the initial imperfection and imposed on the model as 1/1000 of the span of the components. The numerical buckling load according to the theory of large deflection is less than the experiment result, which is more conservative and can provide some reference for design. For the design method, when the in-plane load is imposed on the glass plate, its lateral strength and the deflection should be verified. Considering the stability of the in-plane bending glass plate without reliable lateral support, buckling is another possible failure mode and calls for verification. 展开更多

框架结构中的填充墙不起承重作用,因此在框架结构设计及抗震分析中一般不进行详细计算。然而历次震害表明框架结构中的填充墙破坏严重,其对结构的抗震性能影响不容忽视。本文采用杆系有限元软件建立了不同砌体填充墙边界条件框架结构模... 框架结构中的填充墙不起承重作用,因此在框架结构设计及抗震分析中一般不进行详细计算。然而历次震害表明框架结构中的填充墙破坏严重,其对结构的抗震性能影响不容忽视。本文采用杆系有限元软件建立了不同砌体填充墙边界条件框架结构模型,通过与已有振动台试验结果对比得到了与试验结果最接近的砌体填充墙边界条件。然后采用该边界条件模型进行了模拟地震波作用下的结构响应分析。分析结果表明:在模拟地震波作用下,采用砌体填充墙边界条件与实际砌体填充墙与框架连接施工方法最接近的模型,得到的模型纵向加速度峰值和位移峰值与试验值吻合度较好。采用杆系有限元软件分析砌体填充墙与框架的边界条件对框架结构整体抗震性能影响简化分析的方法是可行的。 展开更多
