Methods of improving seismic event locations were investigated as part of a research study aimed at reducing ground control safety hazards. Seismic event waveforms collected with a 23-station three-dimensional sensor array during longwall coal mining provide the data set used in the analyses. A spatially variable seismic velocity model is constructed using seismic event sources in a passive tomographic method. The resulting three-dimensional velocity model is used to relocate seismic event positions. An evolutionary optimization algorithm is implemented and used in both the velocity model development and in seeking improved event location solutions. Results obtained using the different velocity models are compared. The combination of the tomographic velocity model development and evolutionary search algorithm provides improvement to the event locations. 展开更多

To investigate the effects of temperature and moisture content(MC) on acoustic wave velocity(AWV)in wood,the relationships between wood temperature,MC,and AWV were theoretically analyzed.According to the theoretical propagation characteristics of the acoustic waves in the wood mixture and the differences in velocity among various media(including ice,water,pure wood or oven-dried wood),theoretical relationships of temperature,MC,and AWV were established,assuming that the samples in question were composed of a simple mixture of wood and water or of wood and ice.Using the theoretical model,the phase transition of AWV in green wood near the freezing point(as derived from previous experimental results) was plausibly described.By comparative analysis between theoretical and experimental models for American red pine(Pinus resinosa) samples,it was established that the theoretically predicted AWV values matched the experiment results when the temperature of the wood was below the freezing point of water,with an averageprediction error of 1.66%.The theoretically predicted AWV increased quickly in green wood as temperature decreased and changed suddenly near 0 °C,consistent with the experimental observations.The prediction error of the model was relatively large when the temperature of the wood was above the freezing point,probably due to an overestimation of the effect of the liquid water content on the acoustic velocity and the limited variables of the model.The high correlation between the predicted and measured acoustic velocity values in frozen wood samples revealed the mechanisms of temperature,MC,and water status and how these affected the wood(particularly its acoustic velocity below freezing point of water).This result also verified the reliability of a previous experimental model used to adjust for the effect of temperature during field testing of trees. 展开更多

Bubble rise velocity in a pulsed gas-solid fluidized bed was studied using photographic and computational fluid dynamics methods. The variation in bubble rise velocity was investigated as a function of the periodic pulsed air flow. A predictive model of bubble rise velocity was derived: ub=ψ(Ut+Up-Umf)+kp(gdb)(1/2). The software of Origin was used to fit the empirical coefficients to give ψ = 0.4807 and kp = 0.1305. Experimental verification of the simulations shows that the regular change in bubble rise velocity is accurately described by the model. The correlation coefficient was 0.9905 for the simulations and 0.9706 for the experiments. 展开更多

The accuracy of migration velocity construction is always a key problem of the image quality of pre-stack depth migration. The velocity model construction process is a process from an unknown to unknown iteration procedure and involves three important steps — model building, migration and model modification. It is necessary to rationally describe the velocity model, according to the complexity of the problem. Taking the Marmousi model as a study object, We established some standards for a rational description of the velocity model on the basis of different velocity space scales, analysis varieties of travel time, and image quality. It is considered that for any given seismic data gathered in the migration velocity model the space wavelength of velocity, which should be expressed in variation of space wavelength of various frequency contents, appears in the seismic data. Some space wavelengths, which are necessary for a description of the model velocity field, are also varying with the layer complexity. For a simple layer velocity structure it is sufficient to apply a simple velocity model (the space wavelength is large enough), whereas, for a complicated layer velocity structure it is necessary to take a velocity model of a more precise scale. In fact, when we establish a velocity model, it is difficult to describe the velocity model at a full space scale, so it is important to limit the space scale of the velocity model according to the complexity of a layer structure and establish a rational macro velocity model. 展开更多

A thermodynamic theory is formulated to describe the phase transition and critical phenomenon in traffic flow. Based on the two-velocity difference model, the time-dependent Ginzburg-Landau (TDGL) equation under certain condition is derived to describe the traffic flow near the critical point through the nonlinear analytical method. The corresponding two solutions, the uniform and the kink solutions, are given. The coexisting curve, spinodal line and critical point are obtained by the first and second derivatives of the thermodynamic potential. The modified Korteweg- de Vries (mKdV) equation around the critical point is derived by using the reductive perturbation method and its kink antikink solution is also obtained. The relation between the TDGL equation and the mKdV equation is shown. The simulation result is consistent with the nonlinear analytical result. 展开更多

Information feedback strategies can influence the traffic efficiency of intelligent traffic systems greatly.Based on the more practical symmetrical two-route scenario with one entrance and one exit,an improved weighted mean velocity feedback strategy(WMVFS) is proposed,which is not sensitive to the precision of global position system(GPS) devices.The applicability of WMVFS to different weight factors,aggressive probabilities,densities of dynamic vehicles,and different two-route scenarios(symmetrical scenario and asymmetrical scenario with a speed limit bottleneck) is analyzed.Results show that WMVFS achieves the best performance compared with three other information feedback strategies when considering the traffic flux and stability. 展开更多

The damping effect of the multi-velocity-difference ahead has been investigated by means of analytical and numerical methods. Results indicate that the multi-velocity-difference leads to the enhancement of stability of traffic flow, suppression of the emergence of traffic jamming, and reduction of the energy consumption. 展开更多

The turbulence governed by the Navier-Stokes equation is paramount in many physical processes.However,it has been considered as a challenging problem due to its inherent nonlinearity,non-equilibrium,and complexity.Herein,we review the connections between the velocity derivative skewness Sk and the non-equilibrium properties of turbulence.Sk,a reasonable candidate for describing the non-equilibrium turbulence,which varies during the non-equilibrium procedure.A lot of experimental or numerical evidences have shown that the perturbation of energy spectrum,which associated with the excitation of large scales,results in an obvious variation of Sk,and Sk is a negative value in this rapid energy decay process.The variation of positive Sk is closely related to the perturbation of transfer spectrum,and this corresponds to the backward energy transfer process.In addition,the skewness characterizes the production(or reduction)rate of enstrophy due to vortex stretching(or compression).Using the transport equation of turbulent energy dissipation rate and enstrophy,it is possible to establish a theoretical connection between skewness and the non-equilibrium turbulence.It is expected that this work could trigger the rapid advancement of the future studies of non-equilibrium turbulence,and also the improvement of turbulence models. 展开更多

漂浮植被常见于明渠河道水面。漂浮植被可改变河道水流流速,影响植被吸收营养物效率。本文将漂浮植被作用下的明渠河道沿垂向划分为漂浮植被区和无植被区。在植被阻力作用下,水流进入漂浮植被区后不断调整,流速不断降低,直至水流充分发... 漂浮植被常见于明渠河道水面。漂浮植被可改变河道水流流速,影响植被吸收营养物效率。本文将漂浮植被作用下的明渠河道沿垂向划分为漂浮植被区和无植被区。在植被阻力作用下,水流进入漂浮植被区后不断调整,流速不断降低,直至水流充分发展后,水流流速稳定不变。将漂浮植被区的水流调整长度定义为漂浮植被前端至水流充分发展处的长度。基于指数衰减函数,建立了漂浮植被区水流流速沿程分布预测方法;在此基础上,联立水流连续方程,提出了漂浮植被下方无植被区的水流流速沿程分布预测方法。所提计算模型结构简单、易于应用,所有输入参数可由水流和植被条件确定。采用已有的试验资料检验计算模型,发现本文模型能够准确预测漂浮植被区和无植被区的流速沿程分布。研究可为河道水环境治理与生态修复提供技术支撑。 展开更多

泌阳凹陷中南部地区油气资源丰富、油气藏类型多样,具有较大勘探潜力,该地区以往开展了大量各向同性深度偏移技术攻关,仍然存在成像与实钻井误差较大,各向异性问题显著,难以满足进一步精细勘探需求;为解决各向异性问题,开展了TTI各向异... 泌阳凹陷中南部地区油气资源丰富、油气藏类型多样,具有较大勘探潜力,该地区以往开展了大量各向同性深度偏移技术攻关,仍然存在成像与实钻井误差较大,各向异性问题显著,难以满足进一步精细勘探需求;为解决各向异性问题,开展了TTI各向异性建模技术应用研究。采用测井约束速度建模技术提高了白云岩速度异常区速度模型精度,采用浅中深一体化融合速度建模技术提高了陡坡带“双复杂区”速度模型精度;采用从VTI到TTI递进式的各向异性速度参数建模技术,使得井震误差减小,各向异性问题得到较好解决。同时,采用构造属性约束代替常规层位属性约束,使得复杂构造速度模型与地下构造特征更加吻合,优化了井震误差分析环节,提高TTI建模效率。最终应用成果表明,泌阳凹陷中南部地区复杂构造得到准确刻画,为油气勘探开发提供了高品质基础资料。 展开更多

人工冻结法具有隔水性能好、冻结地层强度高、施工地层适应性强等特点,被广泛运用到富水地层施工中,而地下水流动会对冻结温度场产生重要影响。依托一并行隧道顺序冻结工程,开展了冻结温度场现场监测。同时建立流热耦合数值模型,研究地... 人工冻结法具有隔水性能好、冻结地层强度高、施工地层适应性强等特点,被广泛运用到富水地层施工中,而地下水流动会对冻结温度场产生重要影响。依托一并行隧道顺序冻结工程,开展了冻结温度场现场监测。同时建立流热耦合数值模型,研究地下水渗流速度对近距离并行隧道顺序冻结温度场发展的影响。结果表明:(1)各测温孔监测数据与数值模型模拟结果一致,数值模型具有一定可靠性。(2)处于渗流区上游的冻结管会降低地下水温度,冷量随水流动被携带至下游地层。上游左线冻结壁的形成会降低下游右线地层的地下水流速。(3)单线冻结管圈首先于上侧、下侧和处于下游的右侧形成局部冻结体,局部冻结体逐渐扩展,最后于左侧管圈处实现完全交圈。(4)当地下水渗流速度大于1.0 m/d后,左右两线交圈时间差随渗流速度的增加而增加。(5)在有地下水渗流的地层中进行顺序冻结法施工,应优先进行上游处冻结施工,可有效提高施工效率。 展开更多

高速铁路路基是高速列车安全平顺运行的重要基础,路基压实质量控制方法是极其重要。基于经验模态分解(EMD)及快速傅里叶变换(FFT),提出一种基于路基表面振动波波速的路基压实质量检测方法,采用数值模拟和足尺模型试验对其可行性和有效... 高速铁路路基是高速列车安全平顺运行的重要基础,路基压实质量控制方法是极其重要。基于经验模态分解(EMD)及快速傅里叶变换(FFT),提出一种基于路基表面振动波波速的路基压实质量检测方法,采用数值模拟和足尺模型试验对其可行性和有效性进行研究。研究结果表明:路基表面振动波波速测算方法具有较强的可行性,且测点间距对振动波波速的测算结果产生的误差小于0.3%;根据单一震荡模式信号与原始信号在时域及频域范围内曲线形态、频率带宽与曲线幅值的一致性,定义一种路基碾压过程中的特征震荡信号;提出基于特征震荡信号的路基压实质量控制方法,验证路基表面振动波波速与填料压实度的极强相关关系,且相关性系数大于0.8。研究成果可为高速铁路路基压实质量检测提供新方法,为高速铁路路基智能填筑及路基压实质量连续检测技术提供支撑。 展开更多

针对传统公式对爆破振动预测精度不高的问题,构建了基于Bi-LSTM(双向长短期记忆网络)算法的露天矿山爆破振动速度预测模型。该模型可以在两个方向上处理时间序列数据,同时捕获过去和未来的上下输入信息与输出数据之间的依赖关系。以马... 针对传统公式对爆破振动预测精度不高的问题,构建了基于Bi-LSTM(双向长短期记忆网络)算法的露天矿山爆破振动速度预测模型。该模型可以在两个方向上处理时间序列数据,同时捕获过去和未来的上下输入信息与输出数据之间的依赖关系。以马钢集团高村铁矿露天矿山爆破开采监测数据为依据,选取相关数据为输入参数,并将Bi-LSTM预测结果与萨道夫斯基公式预测结果进行对比。结果表明:萨道夫斯基公式预测的爆破振动速度平均误差为26.87%,Bi-LSTM算法预测的爆破振动速度平均误差为8.95%;Bi-LSTM模型预测结果与实测结果具有较高的吻合度。后期将以其他矿山的监测数据为依托对模型进行训练,以提高Bi-LSTM模型的泛化能力,并通过迁移学习植入矿山安全实时监测预警平台。 展开更多

An improved multiple car-following model is proposed by considering the arbitrary number of preceding cars, which includes both the headway and the velocity difference of multiple preceding cars. The stability condition of the extended model is obtained by using the linear stability theory. The modified Korteweg-de Vries equation is derived to describe the traffic behaviour near the critical point by applying the nonlinear analysis. Traffic flow can be also divided into three regions: stable metastable and unstable regions. Numerical simulation is in accordance with the analytical result for the model. And numerical simulation shows that the stabilisation of traffic is increasing by considering the information of more leading cars and there is unavoidable effect on traffic flow from the multiple leading cars information. 展开更多
