The fuzzy logic controller of the semi-active suspension system is constructed. The acceleration of driver's seat and its time derivative are used as the inputs of the fuzzy logic controller, and the fuzzy logic controller output determines the semi-active suspension controllable damping force. The fuzzy logic controller is to minimize the mean square root of acceleration of the driver's seat. The control forces of controllable dampers behind the first road wheel are obtained by time delay, and the delay times are determined by the vehicle speed and axles distances. The simulation results show that this control method can decrease the acceleration of driver's seat and the suspension travel of the first road wheel, the ride quality is improved obviously. 展开更多

A mechanical model for the whole body of a tracked vehicle, which is totally a fifteen-degree-of-freedom system, is established. The model includes the vertical motion, the pitch motion as well as the roll motion of the tracked vehicle. In contrast to most previous studies, the coupling effect among the vertical, the pitch and the roll motions of the suspension system of a tracked vehicle is considered simultaneously. The simulation of fuzzy logic control under road surface with random excitation shows that the acceleration, pitch angle and roll angle of suspension system can be efficiently controlled. 展开更多

The vibration caused by terrible road excitation affects the ride quality and safety of track vehicles. The vibration control of suspension systems is a very important factor for modern track vehicles. A fuzzy logic control for suspension system of a track vehicle is presented. A mechanical model and a system of difft, rential equations of motion taking account of the mass of loading wheel are established. Then the fuzzy logic control is applied to control the vibration of suspension system of track vehicles for sine signal and random road surfaces. Numerical simulation shows that the maximum acceleration of suspension system can be reduced to 44 % of the original value for sine signal road surface, and the mean square root of acceleration of suspension system can be reduced to 21% for random road surface. Therefore, the proposed fuzzy logic control is an efficient method for the suspension systems of track vehicles. 展开更多

Firstly, power system integration is analyzed and modeled. Then the control algorithm is given. Two fuzzy logics are used to realize the coordination control over each power unit. One controls power distribution based on the load power and battery state of charge (SOC). The other manage the power during regenerating braking. To validate the presented control strategy, a "driver and controller" in the loop simulation platform is built based on dSPACE system and real-time simulation is made. The simulation results show that the strategy presented can solve the power distribution problem of hybrid tracked vehicles correctly and effectively. 展开更多

However, the ste... Making full use of wind power is one of the main purposes of the wind turbine generator control. Conventional hill climbing search (HCS) method can realize the maximum power point tracking (MPPT). However, the step size of HCS method is constant so that it cannot consider both steady-state response and dynamic response. A fuzzy logical control (FLC) algorithm is proposed to solve this problem in this paper, which can track the maximum power point (MPP) quickly and smoothly. To evaluate MPPT algorithms, four performance indices are also proposed in this paper. They are the energy captured by wind turbine, the maximum power-point tracking time when wind speed changes slowly, the fluctuation magnitude of real power during steady state, and the energy captured by wind turbine when wind speed changes fast. Three cases are designed and simulated in MATLAB/Simulink respectively. The comparison of the three MPPT strategies concludes that the proposed fuzzy logical control algorithm is more superior to the conventional HCS algorithms. 展开更多

A tunable fuzzy logic controller is designed by using without quantification method and taking into account the uncertainty, nonlinearity and complexity of parameters for a vehicle suspension system. Simulation to test the performance of this controller is performed under random excitations and definite disturbances of a C grade road, and the effects of time delay and changes of system parameters on the vehicle suspension system are researched. In order to move tracked vehicles at an extremely slowspeed with automated mechanical transmission( AMT),slowdriving function was added in the original system. The principle and requirement of slowdriving function were analyzed. Based on analysis of slow driving characteristic,identification of slowdriving condition and fuzzy control algorithm,a control strategy of the clutch was designed. In order to realize slowdriving,the clutch was controlled in a slipping mode as manual driving. The vehicle speed was increased to a required speed and kept in a small range by engaging or disengaging the clutch to the approximate half engagement point. Based on the control strategy,a control software was designed and tested on a tracked vehicle with AMT. The test results showthat the control of the clutch with the slowdriving function was smoother than that with original systemand the vehicle speed was slower and steadier. 展开更多

Current control with chopping used to minimize the torque ripple of the MNSR control rod drive. Fuzzy logic current control together with soft chopping control shows the best response of all the three strategies. The fault-tolerant control problem is investigated for high-speed trains with actuator faults and multiple disturbances.Based on the novel train model resulting from the Takagi–Sugeno fuzzy theory, a sliding-mode fault-tolerant control strategy is proposed. The norm bounded disturbances which are composed of interactive forces among adjacent carriages and basis running resistances are rearranged by the fuzzy linearity technique. The modeled disturbances described as an exogenous system are compensated for by a disturbance observer. Moreover, a sliding mode surface is constructed, which can transform the stabilization problem of position and velocity into the stabilization problem of position errors and velocity errors, i.e., the tracking problem of position and velocity. Based on the parallel distributed compensation method and the disturbance observer, the fault-tolerant controller is solved. The Lyapunov theory is used to prove the stability of the closed-loop system. The feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed fault-tolerant control strategy are illustrated by simulation results. 展开更多

The uncertain nonlinear systemsare represented by fuzzy Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) model, and a fuzzy controller is designedbased on the state observer. A sufficient condition for the existence of fuzzycontroller is given in terms of the linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) and the adaptivelaw. Based on Lyapunov stability theorem, the proposed fuzzy control scheme suchthat the desired H∞performance is achieved in the sense that all the closed-loopsignals are uniformly ultimately bounded (UUB). Simulation results indicate theeffectiveness of the developed control scheme. In this paper, a less conservativefuzzy tracking controller is proposed, where the matching condition and the upperbound are avoided. Development of Fuzzy Logic System to Predict the SAW Weldment Shape Profiles

A fuzzy model was presented to predict the weldment shape profile of submerged arc welds (SAW) including the shape of heat affected zone (HAZ). The SAW bead-on-plates were welded by following a full factorial design matrix. The design matrix consisted of three levels of input welding process parameters. The welds were cross-sectioned and etched, and the zones were measured. A mapping technique was used to measure the various segments of the weld zones. These mapped zones were used to build a fuzzy logic model. The membership functions of the fuzzy model were chosen for the accurate prediction of the weld zone. The fuzzy model was further tested for a set of test case data. The weld zone predicted by the fuzzy logic model was compared with the experimentally obtained shape profiles and close agreement between the two was noted. The mapping technique developed for the weld zones and the fuzzy logiemodel earl be used for on-line control of the SAW process. From the SAW fuzzy logic model an estimation of the fusion and HAZ can also be developed. 展开更多

A fault-tolerant control law based on adaptive super-twisting sliding mode control(SMC)is designed for the attitude command tracking problem of a launch vehicle with actuator faults,considering the uncertainties arising from unknown external disturbances,fuel consumption of the launch vehicle,and the perturbation due to the change in rotational inertia caused by tank sloshing,as well as the potential system model changes due to actuator fault and unmodeled dynamics.This control algorithm integrates the super-twisting SMC,the fuzzy logic control,and the adaptive control.First,a super-twisting sliding surface is selected to mitigate the“chattering”phenomenon inherent in SMC,ensuring that the system tracking error converges to zero within a finite time.Second,building upon this sliding surface,the fuzzy logic control is used to approximate the unknown system function,which includes fault information.Adaptive parameters are used to approach the system parameters and enhance disturbance rejection.The stability and finite-time convergence of the launch vehicle attitude tracking control system are verified by the Lyapunov method.Numerical simulations demonstrate the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed adaptive super-twisting SMC algorithm. 展开更多

自动驾驶商用半挂车可以显著提升干线物流效率。然而半挂商用车是典型的欠驱动系统,在大曲率运动工况下难以同时兼顾牵引车和挂车的横向轨迹跟踪精度。随着车辆速度和负载的提升,挂车质心转移及载荷转移加剧,对铰接处产生更强烈的不确... 自动驾驶商用半挂车可以显著提升干线物流效率。然而半挂商用车是典型的欠驱动系统,在大曲率运动工况下难以同时兼顾牵引车和挂车的横向轨迹跟踪精度。随着车辆速度和负载的提升,挂车质心转移及载荷转移加剧,对铰接处产生更强烈的不确定性影响,造成挂车与牵引车之间行驶轨迹的偏差进一步加大,增加了轨迹跟踪难度,影响了行驶安全性。为提高半挂商用车牵引车与挂车的横向安全性,本文提出一种基于二型模糊控制的鲁棒路径跟踪策略。首先,在MATLAB/Simulink中建立了半挂车辆的7自由度动力学模型,精确模拟牵引车与挂车的横-纵向运动动力学特性。其次,利用二型模糊逻辑控制理论中输入隶属度函数对系统不确定性的覆盖特性,设计了同时调控牵引车和挂车横向轨迹跟踪精度的二型模糊控制器。为提高不确定因素影响下横向轨迹跟踪控制的精度,降低控制器设计难度,采用粒子群优化算法对二型模糊控制器的输入隶属度函数参数进行优化。最后,利用MATLAB/Simulink与TruckSim的联合仿真平台,分别在不同车速和负载条件下进行车辆轨迹跟踪的仿真,以验证本文提出的控制策略,并与一型模糊控制和预瞄控制结果进行对比。结果表明:在双移线这种轨迹曲率发生变化的工况下,本文提出的二型模糊控制器对牵引车和挂车的横向轨迹跟踪精度有明显提升。 展开更多

为了提升锂离子电池组均衡系统的性能,提出了一种基于模糊自适应模型预测控制(fuzzy adaptive model predictive control,FAMPC)的模块化均衡系统。首先,由改进的buck-boost电路和反激变压器组成双层均衡拓扑结构;其次,以不同电池剩余容... 为了提升锂离子电池组均衡系统的性能,提出了一种基于模糊自适应模型预测控制(fuzzy adaptive model predictive control,FAMPC)的模块化均衡系统。首先,由改进的buck-boost电路和反激变压器组成双层均衡拓扑结构;其次,以不同电池剩余容量(state of charge,SOC)的状态作为模糊逻辑算法的输入,对均衡电流的约束条件进行调节;再次,基于FAMPC均衡控制方法,直接利用开关管的占空比作为系统输入;最后,在改变电池组状态并不使用额外电流控制机制的情况下进行仿真实验。结果表明,与传统的模糊控制方法相比,所提系统在正常条件下均衡速度提高了约24.51%,在电池低SOC的极端条件下均衡速度可以进一步提高至34.48%。所提系统将模糊算法提供的稳定性与模型预测控制算法的快速性相结合,保证了电池组更安全稳定的运行,可为电池组性能提升研究提供参考。 展开更多

针对绿色船舶燃料电池-锂电池混合动力系统存在经济性差、双能量源协同匹配难的问题,研究燃料电池开关和模糊逻辑控制2种不同策略下系统的经济性与可靠性。使用大功率燃料电池模拟器、燃料电池专用直流转换器等模块建立了混合动力系统... 针对绿色船舶燃料电池-锂电池混合动力系统存在经济性差、双能量源协同匹配难的问题,研究燃料电池开关和模糊逻辑控制2种不同策略下系统的经济性与可靠性。使用大功率燃料电池模拟器、燃料电池专用直流转换器等模块建立了混合动力系统的模拟实验平台,通过两种策略分别实现对混合动力系统输出功率的管理。实验结果表明,2种策略在优化能量分配上均显示出可行性,进一步比较发现,在船舶典型工况下,复合动力系统稳定运行的时长越久,燃料电池开关策略控制下的氢耗量越低,提高系统的氢燃料经济性。这项工作为后续进一步提升燃料电池船舶混合动力系统运行效率和优化系统性能具有工程指导意义。 展开更多
