A reduced-order dynamic model for an unbalanced rotor system is developed, taking the coupling between torsional and lateral vibrations into account. It is assumed that a shaft is regarded as a continuous viscoelastic shaft with unbalanced and small deformation properties. The equations of motion for the torsional and lateral vibrations are derived using Lagrange's approach with the frequency-dependent shape function. The rotor torsional vibration is coupled with the lateral vibrations by unbalance elements in a way of excitations. Simulation and experiment results show clearly that the torsional vibration has strong impact on the rotor lateral vibrations, and it causes subharmonic and superharmonic excitations through unbalance elements, which leads to the superharmonic resonances in the lateral vibrations. This model with low-order and high accuracy is suitable for rotor dynamic analysis in real time simulation as well as for active vibration control syntheses. 展开更多

In view of the many scenes of unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)detection,a third-party signal source is used to design a receiver to monitor the UAV.It is of great significance to understand the reflection of the signal illuminating the UAV.Taking the communication base station(BS)signal as the third-party signal source,and considering the complete transmission link,reflection changes and loss fading of the communication signal,this study conducts model fitting for irregular UAV targets,simplifying complex targets into a combination of simple targets.Furthermore,the influence of the dielectric constant of the target surface and the signal irradiation angle on the signal reflection is analyzed.The analysis shows that the simulation results of this model fitting method are consistent with the results of other literature,which provides theoretical support for the detection of low and slow small targets such as UAVs. 展开更多

针对连发追踪旅客列车开行数量增加导致扣除系数法在通过能力计算上的局限性,提出1种用于计算客货共线铁路通过能力的全时迭代方法。对原始时刻表数据执行既定分层策略,确定运行图目标区段不同类型列车及天窗的铺画优先级,将通过能力最... 针对连发追踪旅客列车开行数量增加导致扣除系数法在通过能力计算上的局限性,提出1种用于计算客货共线铁路通过能力的全时迭代方法。对原始时刻表数据执行既定分层策略,确定运行图目标区段不同类型列车及天窗的铺画优先级,将通过能力最优解问题转化为平行运行图上逐层铺画开行列车并使每次铺画对目标值影响最小的最值求解问题;基于密码锁转子解锁原理提出改进Rotor模型,通过逐层非连续多元方程寻优实现无损耗迭代,求得目标区段通过能力的最优解;依托京沪铁路徐州北下发场—蚌埠区段的时刻表数据进行实例验证。结果表明:本文算法在计算通过能力时可充分考虑目标区段内各类列车条件;基于同样的数据集,纵向与枚举法、简单Rotor模型法对比,本文算法收敛耗时最短、计算效率最高;横向与扣除系数法、图解法以及路局反推法对比,本文算法平图利用率充分、性能最优;与路局实际运行图数据对比,本文算法得到的区段通过能力平均提升9列,区段空闲时间占用率平均降低11.05%。 展开更多

A novel twin-rotor piston engine (TRPE) mechanism with high volumetric output and power density was introduced. This new engine comprises an energy conversion system and a differential velocity drive mechanism (DVDM). Two special geared four-bar mechanisms, DVDM-1 and DVDM-2, were utilized and compared. Based on the closed loop vector method, a mathematical model for position, velocity, and acceleration of the two mechanisms was established. Numerical examples illustrate that the kinematic characteristics were presented. Expression of the displacement and compression ratio of the two engine mechanisms were derived and compared. It is concluded that both DVDM-1 and DVDM-2 adopted in the proposed TRPE with six vane pistons create thirty-six power strokes per revolution of the output shaft, and the summation of two angles covered by each rocker is always 2x/N as the output shaft rotates an angle of x/N. In DVDM-1, the span angle of a vane piston should be designed to be 10.2°, and the compression ratio should be equal to 10; in DVDM-2, the span angle of a vane piston should be designed to be 10.6°, and the compression ratio should be equal to 4.3. 展开更多

Aiming at the position and attitude tracking of coaxial rotor aircraft(CRA),this paper proposes a combinatorial control method of sliding mode control(SMC)coupled with proportional-integralderivative control(PIDC).Considering the complete description of flight dynamics,aerodynamics and airflow interference,the dynamical model of CRA is established.The dynamical model is simplified according to the actual flight,then the simplified dynamical model is divided into two subsystems:a fully-actuated subsystem and an under-actuated subsystem.The controller of the fully-actuated subsystem consists of a SMC controller coupled with a rate bounded PIDC controller,while the controller of the under-actuated subsystem is composed of a SMC controller.The sliding manifold is defined by combining the position and velocity tracking errors of the state variables for each subsystem.Lyapunov stability theory is used to verify the stability of the sliding mode controller,which ensures that all state trajectories of the system can reach and stay on the sliding mode surface,the uncertainty and external interference of the model are compensated.Simulation and experiment compared with the conventional PIDC are carried out,the results demonstrate the effectiveness and the robustness of the proposed control method of this paper. 展开更多

This work proposes a new strategy to improve the rotor position estimation of a permanent magnet synchronous motor(PMSM) over wide speed range. Rotor position estimation of a PMSM is performed by using sliding mode observer(SMO). An adaptive observer gain was designed based on Lyapunov function and applied to solve the chattering problem caused by the discontinuous function of the SMO in the wide speed range. The cascade low-pass filter(LPF) with variable cut-off frequency was proposed to reduce the chattering problem and to attenuate the filtering capability of the SMO. In addition, the phase shift caused by the filter was counterbalanced by applying the variable phase delay compensation for the whole speed area. High accuracy estimation result of the rotor position was obtained in the experiment by applying the proposed estimation strategy. 展开更多

Twin-rotor cylinder-embedded piston engine is proposed for dealing with the sealing problems of rotors in twin-rotor piston engine where the existent mature sealing technologies for traditional reciprocating engine can be applied.The quantity and forms of its sealing surfaces are reduced and simplified,and what's more,the advantages of twin-rotor piston engine are inherited,such as high power density and no valve mechanism.Given the motion law of two rotors,its kinematic model is established,and the general expression for some parameters related to engine performance,such as the trajectory,displacement,velocity and acceleration of the piston and centroid trajectory,angular displacement,velocity and acceleration of the rod are presented.By selecting different variation patterns of relative angle of two rotors,the relevant variables are compared.It can be concluded that by designing the relative angle function of two rotors,the volume variation of working chamber can be changed.However,a comprehensive consideration for friction and vibration is necessary because velocity and acceleration are quite different in the different functions,the swing magnitude of rod is proportional to link ratio λ,and the position of rod swing center is controlled by eccentricity e.In order to reduce the lateral force,a smaller value of λ should be selected in the case of the structure,and the value of e should be near 0.95.There is no relationship between the piston stroke and the variation process of relative angle of two rotors,the former is only proportional to the amplitude of relative angle of two rotors. 展开更多

To improve the operational efficiency of global optimization in engineering, Kriging model was established to simplify the mathematical model for calculations. Ducted coaxial-rotors aircraft was taken as an example and Fluent software was applied to the virtual prototype simulations. Through simulation sample points, the total lift of the ducted coaxial-rotors aircraft was obtained. The Kriging model was then constructed, and the function was fitted. Improved particle swarm optimization(PSO) was also utilized for the global optimization of the Kriging model of the ducted coaxial-rotors aircraft for the determination of optimized global coordinates. Finally, the optimized results were simulated by Fluent. The results show that the Kriging model and the improved PSO algorithm significantly improve the lift performance of ducted coaxial-rotors aircraft and computer operational efficiency. 展开更多

Effects of outer rim of rotors on performance of turbodrills

Two turbine rotors with outer rim and without outer rim were designed to analyze the influence of outer rim of rotors on the performance of a turbodrill. Two 3D models of the turbine rotor with different structures were established by SolidWorks software. The numerical simulation analysis of the turbine with different rotor structures was carried out based on software of fluent and then the performance of them at different rotating speeds was obtained. The results show that the torque,pressure drop and hydraulic efficiency of the turbine rotor with outer rim are greater than that of the turbine rotor without outer rim. By comparing the turbine rotor with outer rim and without outer rim,its torque increases 20. 1%,pressure drop increases 8.7% and hydraulic efficiency increases 10.4% at the maximum efficiency point. The related research is of guiding significance to further optimization of turbine rotor structure. 展开更多

Mathematical modeling and analysis of gas torque in twin-rotor piston engine

This prototype is intended for high power densi... The gas torque in a twin-rotor piston engine(TRPE) was modeled using adiabatic approximation with instantaneous combustion. The first prototype of TRPE was manufactured. This prototype is intended for high power density engines and can produce 36 power strokes per shaft revolution. Compared with the conventional engines, the vector sum of combustion gas forces acting on each rotor piston in TRPE is a pure torque, and the combustion gas rotates the rotors while compresses the gas in the compression chamber at the same time. Mathematical modeling of gas force transmission was built. Expression for gas torque on each rotor was derived. Different variation patterns of the volume change of working chamber were introduced. The analytical and numerical results is presented to demonstrate the main characteristics of gas torque. The results show that the value of gas torque in TRPE falls to be less than zero before the combustion phase is finished; the time for one stroke is 30° in terms of the rotating angle of the output shaft; gas torque in one complete revolution of the output shaft has a period which is equal to 60° and it is necessary to put off the moment when gas torque becomes zero in order to export the maximum energy. 展开更多

基于ANSYS构建了用于燃料电池汽车氢气供应系统的氢气循环泵(罗茨泵)转子系统的模型,通过对转子系统的模态分析,得到了独立转子系统和双转子系统的前六阶固有振型和固有频率。在模态分析的基础上分析了转子系统的谐响应特性,获得了齿轮... 基于ANSYS构建了用于燃料电池汽车氢气供应系统的氢气循环泵(罗茨泵)转子系统的模型,通过对转子系统的模态分析,得到了独立转子系统和双转子系统的前六阶固有振型和固有频率。在模态分析的基础上分析了转子系统的谐响应特性,获得了齿轮、叶轮边缘两个部位的谐响应特性曲线。结果表明:轴端、转子叶轮等结构振动变形量较大,在接近前三阶固有频率(960Hz左右)时转子系统振动响应幅值最大,双转子耦合系统相对于单独转子系统会出现更加复杂的振型,转子叶轮对不平衡量的响应更显著。研究将为氢气循环泵转子系统的设计制造和振动特性预估提供积极的参考作用,并为氢气循环泵动力学特性的研究奠定基础。 展开更多

双转子系统中不可避免地存在不平衡量,当两个转子的转速比较接近时,系统的不平衡响应呈现出拍振现象,会降低转子运行性能。针对磁悬浮双转子系统存在不平衡量时的振动问题,本文设计μ综合控制器对系统进行控制。首先基于磁悬浮双转子有... 双转子系统中不可避免地存在不平衡量,当两个转子的转速比较接近时,系统的不平衡响应呈现出拍振现象,会降低转子运行性能。针对磁悬浮双转子系统存在不平衡量时的振动问题,本文设计μ综合控制器对系统进行控制。首先基于磁悬浮双转子有限元模型,推导其控制模型,并采用模态截断法对原有高阶状态空间进行降阶处理,得到低阶控制模型,再通过D-K迭代法得到μ综合控制器。Simulink仿真结果表明:在内、外两个转子转速较为接近时,磁悬浮双转子系统与传统机械双转子系统一样存在拍振现象;与PID控制相比,μ综合控制下的磁悬浮双转子系统的拍振响应幅值和拍振强度得到更有效的降低。 展开更多
