The sliding mode control problem (SMC) is studied for a class of uncertain delay system in the presence of both parameter uncertainties and external disturbances. A novel virtual feedback control method is presented. Based on Lyapunov theory, sufficient conditions for design of the robust sliding mode plane are derived. Sliding mode controller based on reaching law concept is developed, which is to ensure system trajectories from any initial conditions asymptotically convergent to sliding mode plane. The global asymptotically stability of the closed-loop system is guaranteed. A numerical example with simulation results is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the methodology. 展开更多

This paper puts forward an unprecedented avoidance-striking-arrival problem aiming to address the need for tank's uncertain mechanical systems on the intelligent battlefield.The associated system uncertainties(possibly rapid)are time-varying but bounded(possibly unknown).The goal is to design a controller that enables the tank to aim at and attack the enemy tank while keeping itself(out of the enemy fire zone).The tank maintains this condition until reaching the predefined region.In this paper,an approximate constraint following control method is adopted to solve this problem,and the original constraints are creatively divided into two categories:the avoidance-tracking constraint and the striking-arrival constraint.An adaptive robust control method is proposed and consequently verified through simulation experiments.It is proved that the system fully obeys the avoidance-tracking-constraint and strictly obeys the striking-arrival constraint under the control input.Besides,the control of the tank vehicle running system and tank gun bidirectional stabilization system are unified to deal with the control signal delay caused by complex uncertainties on the battlefield.Overall,this paper reduced the delay of signal transmission in the system while solved the avoidance-striking-arrival problem. 展开更多

A compliant landing strategy for a trotting quadruped robot on unknown rough terrains based on contact force control is presented. Firstly, in order to lower the disturbance caused by the landing impact force, a landing phase is added between the swing phase and the stance phase, where the desired contact force is set as a small positive constant. Secondly, the joint torque optimization of the stance legs is formulated as a quadratic programming(QP) problem subject to equality and inequality/bound constraints. And a primal-dual dynamical system solver based on linear variational inequalities(LVI) is applied to solve this QP problem. Furthermore, based on the optimization results, a hybrid motion/force robust controller is designed to realize the tracking of the contact force, while the constraints of the stance feet landing angles are fulfilled simultaneously. Robust control design is presented for a general class of uncertain non-affine nonlinear systems. The design employs feedback linearization, coupled with two high-gain observers: the first to estimate the feedback linearization error based on the full state information and the second to estimate the unmeasured states of the system when only the system output is available for feedback. All the signals in the closed loop are guaranteed to be uniformly ultimately bounded(UUB) and the output of the system is proven to converge to a small neighborhood of the origin. The proposed approach not only handles the difficulty in controlling non-affine nonlinear systems but also simplifies the stability analysis of the closed loop due to its linear control structure. The model set and controller set are designed by robust control theory and the characteristics of robust control system are taken into account. A new kind of switching index function by estimating uncertainty is designed. Furthermore, stability of the closed system is analyzed by the small gain theorem in the sense of exponentially weighted L2 norm. And simulation is done on a plant with both parameter uncertainty and un-modeled dynamics. Both theoretical analysis and simulation results show that this new hierarchical switching control system can control the plant with large uncertainties effectively and has good performance of tracking and stability. 展开更多

An agile missile with tail fins and pulse thrusters has continuous and discontinuous control inputs.This brings certain difficulty to the autopilot design and stability analysis.Indirect robust control via Theta-D technique is employed to handle this problem.An acceleration tracking system is formulated based on the nonlinear dynamics of agile missile.Considering the dynamics of actuators,there is an error between actual input and computed input.A robust control problem is formed by treating the error as input uncertainty.The robust control is equivalent to a nonlinear quadratic optimal control of the nominal system with a modified performance index including uncertainty bound.Theta-D technique is applied to solve the nonlinear optimal control problem to obtain the final control law.Numerical results show the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed strategy. 展开更多

The required information about uncertainties in the system is merely that the uncertainties are bounded, but the upper bounds are incompletely known. This paper can be viewed as an extension of the work in reference [1]. To compensate the uncertainties, an adaptive robust controller based on Lyapunov method is proposed and the design algorithm is also suggested. Compared with some previous controllers which can only ensure ultimate uniform boundedness of the systems, the controller given in the paper can make sure that the obtained closed-loop system is asymptotically stable in the large. This condition is expressed as the solvability problem of linear matrix inequalities(LMI). It can be easily determined whether or not, it is feasible and one can easily obtain the decentralized stabilizing state feedback matrices via LMI techniques. In this paper it is shown that the largest robust stability radius of any optimally robust controller of P0 is larger than or equal to r(Po). This article investigates the robust current tracking control problem of three-phase grid-connected inverters with LCL filter under external disturbance by a dynamic state feedback control method.First,this paper constructs an internal model to learn the information of the states and input of the grid-connected inverter under steady state.Second,by utilizing the internal model principle,the paper turns the tracking control problem into the robust stabilization control problem based on some appropriate coordinate transformations.Then,The paper designs a dynamics state feedback control law to deal with this robust stabilization problem,and thus the solution of the robust current tracking control problem of three-phase grid-connected inverters can be obtained.This control method can ensure the asymptotic stability of the closedloop system.Finally,the paper illustrates the effectiveness of the proposed control approach through several groups of simulations,and compares it with the feedforward control method to verify the robustness of the proposed control method to uncertain parameters. 展开更多

The problem of robustifying linear quadratic regulators (LQRs) for a class of uncertain affine nonlinear systems is considered. First, the exact linearization technique is used to transform an uncertain nonlinear system into a linear one and an optimal LQR is designed for the corresponding nominal system. Then, based on the integral sliding mode, a design approach to robustifying the optimal regulator is studied. As a result, the system exhibits global robustness to uncertainties and the ideal sliding mode dynamics is the same as that of the optimal LQR for the nominal system. A global robust optimal sliding mode control (GROSMC) is realized. Finally, a numerical simulation is demonstrated to show the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed algorithm compared with the conventional optimal LQR. 展开更多
