Firstly, the coupled model containing the quintessential parts was built, and the mechanism of self-excited vibration was explained in terms of energy transmission from levitation system to bridge. Then, the influences of the parameters of the widely used integral-type proportion and derivation(PD) controller and the delay of signals on the stability of the interaction system were analyzed. The result shows that the integral-type PD control is a nonoptimal approach to solve the self-excited vibration completely. Furthermore, the differential-type PD controller can guarantee the passivity of levitation system at full band. However, the differentiation of levitation gap should be filtered by a low-pass filter due to noise of gap differentiation. The analysis indicates that a well tuned low-pass filter can still keep the coupled system stable.展开更多

He called it as "local resonance". Also this "Non full resonance" phenomenon was discovered in the ultrasonic drilling and the ultrasonic honing system later. To its mechanism, professor Fang thought that the coupling of long-thin tool bar and driving system is weak, so the tool bar can vibrate independently, but the quantitative relation between the coupling factor and diameter ratio is not made certain. Then several theories come forth to interpret it but still haven’t a common conclusion. Through the systematic experimental and theoretical research, this paper reveals that the "local resonance" phenomenon of ultrasonic honing system has the same essence with the "local resonance" phenomenon in deep hole machining system: when the section area ratio of tool bar and driving system is small enough, some resonance frequencies of combined system are close to the resonance frequencies of "fixed-free" state tool bar, the combined system is still resonant. According to the given depth of hole and structure size, we can use the transfer matrix deduced in this paper to design flexible bar and oilstone seat not only satisfying mechanical structure size but also achieving enough magnitude. It greatly simplified the design. This new method can be named as "local resonance" design method for ultrasonic honing system. The experiment, deduction and design method have a certain common meaning to the study and design of other ultrasonic system.展开更多

From the water distribution spectrum deduced from relaxation time distribution in paste, it is suggested that the water fills in the capillary pores at initial period, and then diffuses to the mesopores and gel pores in hydration products with the hydration proceeding. The decrease of peak area in water distribution spectrum reflects the transformation from physically bound water to chemically bound water. In addition, based on the connection between relaxation time and pore size, the relative content changes of water in various states and constrained in different types of pores were also measured. The results demonstrate that it is influenced by the formation of pore system and the original water-to-cement ratio in the paste. Consequently, the relative content of capillary water is dropped to less than 2% in the paste with low w/c ratio of 0.3 when being hydrated for 1 d, while the contents are still 16% and 36% in the pastes with w/c ratios of 0.4 and 0.5, respectively.展开更多

As for this problem, a fault feature enhancement method based on mono-stable stochastic resonance was proposed. In the method, in order to improve the enhancement performance of weak thruster fault feature, the conventional bi-stable potential function was changed to mono-stable potential function which was more suitable for aperiodic signals. Furthermore, when particle swarm optimization was adopted to adjust the parameters of mono-stable stochastic resonance system, the global convergent time would be long. An improved particle swarm optimization method was developed by changing the linear inertial weighted function as nonlinear function with cosine function, so as to reduce the global convergent time. In addition, when the conventional wavelet reconstruction method was adopted to detect the weak thruster fault, undetected fault or false alarm may occur. In order to successfully detect the weak thruster fault, a weak thruster detection method was proposed based on the integration of stochastic resonance and wavelet reconstruction. In the method, the optimal reconstruction scale was determined by comparing wavelet entropies corresponding to each decomposition scale. Finally, pool-experiments were performed on AUV with thruster fault. The effectiveness of the proposed mono-stable stochastic resonance method in enhancing fault feature and reducing the global convergent time was demonstrated in comparison with particle swarm optimization based bi-stochastic resonance method. Furthermore, the effectiveness of the proposed fault detection method was illustrated in comparison with the conventional wavelet reconstruction.展开更多

In order to solve this problem, a state-transition-algorithm (STA)-based adaptive stochastic resonance (SR) method is proposed, which provides an alternative solution to the problem that the traditional SR has fixed parameters or optimizes only a single parameter and ignores the interaction between parameters. To be specific, the frequency-shifted and re-scaling are firstly used to pre-process an actual large signal to meet the requirement of the adiabatic approximate small parameter. And then, the signal-to-noise ratio is used as the optimization target, and the STA-based adaptive SR is used to synchronously optimize the system parameters. Finally, the optimal extraction and frequency recovery of a weak characteristic signal from a broken rotor bar fault are realized. The proposed method is compared with the existing methods by the early broken rotor bar experiments of traction motor. Experiment results show that the proposed method is better than the other methods in extracting weak signals, and the validity of this method is verified.展开更多

It mainly comprises a linear motor, a vibrating screen, a supporting spring set, a supporting frame and a damper set. Forces acting on the vibrating screen were found. A differential equation for describing the forces was set up. Equations that were used to evaluate the exciting force and exciting frequency in resonance were derived from the solution to the differential equation. In addition, an equation for evaluating the deformed magnitude of the damping springs in the damper set was presented so that the suitable damping may be obtained. Finally, a Matlab/Simulink model of the new i DOF resonance device was also built. Displacement-time curves of the vibrating screen under four conditions were obtained in the use of the Matlab/Simulink simulation. The curves indicate that it can shorten the time for the vibrating screen to be into the stable resonance with increasing the damping, and it can lengthen the time with increasing the vibrated mass or amplitude, but every given angular frequency cannot acquire the desired amplitude value of resonance.展开更多

Considering the complexity and non-homogeneous spatial distribution of environmental noise and based on the theory of adaptive noise cancellation, a model system for noise cancellation using multi-reference coils was constructed to receive MRS signals. The feasibility of this system with theoretical calculation and experiments was analyzed and a modified sigmoid variable step size least mean square(SVSLMS) algorithm for noise cancellation was presented. The simulation results show that, the multi-reference coil method performs better than the single one on both signal-to-noise ratio(SNR) improvement and signal waveform optimization after filtering, under the condition of different noise correlations in the reference coils and primary detecting coils and different SNRs. In particular, when the noise correlation is poor and the SNR<0, the SNR can be improved by more than 8 dB after filtering with multi-reference coils. And the average fitting errors for initial amplitude and relaxation time are within 5%. Compared with the normalized least mean square(NLMS) algorithm and multichannel Wiener filter and processing field test data, the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified.展开更多

This paper modifies the traditional acquisition algorithms and proposes a new weak GNSS signal acquisition method using re-scaling and adaptive stochastic resonance(SR). The adoption of classical SR is limited to low-frequency and periodic signals. Given that GNSS signal frequency is high and that the periodic feature of the GNSS signal is affected by the Doppler frequency shift, classical SR methods cannot be directly used to acquire GNSS signals. Therefore, the re-scaling technique is used in our study to expand its usage to high-frequency signals and adaptive control technique is used to gradually determine the Doppler shift effect in GNSS signal buried in strong noises. The effectiveness of our proposed method was verified by the simulations on GPS L1 signals. The simulation results indicate that the new algorithm based on SR can reach-181 d BW sensitivity with a very short data length of 1 ms.展开更多

Due to the prohibitive NMR experiment cost, numerical simulation was employed as an alternative approach to verify some theoretical aspects of NMR responses. Firstly, the basic principles of pore-scale NMR simulation based on random-walk method(RWM) were introduced. The RWM-simulated results were benchmarked with the analytical results for an ideal spherical pore model. Then, the effects of two numerical parameters, namely diffusion radius and walk numbers, were studied on the simulation accuracy. The simulation method is then applied to various pore models with different pore sizes and pore shapes filled with different fluids to study the microscopic NMR response characteristics. The numerical experiments are useful for understanding and interpreting NMR measurements and the simulation code provides a numerical tool to perform pixel-based digital rock analysis.展开更多

A typical ferromagnetic state could be appeared in the measured temperature from 110 K to 300 K and the origin would be contributed to uncompensated surface spin due to its large surface-to-volume ratio and/or a few non-detectable impurities with strong magnetism. Interestingly, another weak ferromagnetic state could present below the temperature about 250 K, indicative of Neel temperature (TN) of antiferromagnetic state, which is slightly lower than that of bulksample of 265 K.展开更多

文摘In this work, the Fukui functions of the two ~2P resonance states of Be,a ~2P resonance state of Mg~–,and a ~2D resonance state of Ca~– have been determined. The trajectories of these resonance states,in conjunction with the complex rotation of the Hamiltonian, were used to determine their wave functions. The electron densities,Fukui functions, and values of the hyper-radius<r^2>were computed from these wave functions. The Fukui functions have negative regions in the valence shell in addition to the inner shell regions, indicating screening effects of the outer temporary electron.Selected configuration interactions with up to quadruple excitations were used along the trajectories and for computing the final wave function.Based on this data, the densities,Fukui functions,and<r^2>were calculated.

文摘In the early fault period of high-speed train systems, the interested characteristic signals are relatively weak and easily submerged in heavy noise. Experiment results show that the proposed method is better than the other methods in extracting weak signals, and the validity of this method is verified.
文摘A new single degree-of-freedom (1 DOF) resonance device was developed. The curves indicate that it can shorten the time for the vibrating screen to be into the stable resonance with increasing the damping, and it can lengthen the time with increasing the vibrated mass or amplitude, but every given angular frequency cannot acquire the desired amplitude value of resonance.

文摘Nano-volt magnetic resonance sounding(MRS) signals are sufficiently weak so that during the actual measurement, they are affected by environmental electromagnetic noise, leading to inaccuracy of the extracted characteristic parameters and hindering effective inverse interpretation. Compared with the normalized least mean square(NLMS) algorithm and multichannel Wiener filter and processing field test data, the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified.

文摘The stochastic resonance behavior of coupled stochastic resonance(SR)system with time-delay under mass and frequency fluctuations was studied.Firstly, the approximate system model of the time-delay system was obtained by the theory of small time-delay approximation. Then, the random average method and Shapiro-Loginov algorithm were used to calculate the output amplitude ratio of the two subsystems. The simulation analysis shows that increasing the time-delay and the input signal amplitude appropriately can improve the output response of the system. Finally, the system is applied to bearing fault diagnosis and compared with the stochastic resonance system with random mass and random frequency. The experimental results show that the coupled SR system taking into account the actual effect of time-delay and couple can more effectively extract the frequency of the fault signal, and thus realizing the diagnosis of the fault signal, which has important engineering application value.

文摘Weak global navigation satellite system(GNSS) signal acquisition has been a limitation for high sensitivity GPS receivers. The simulation results indicate that the new algorithm based on SR can reach-181 d BW sensitivity with a very short data length of 1 ms.

文摘Water alternating gas(WAG)injection is a widely used strategy for enhancing oil recovery(EOR)during gas flooding, and the mechanisms, operating parameters, and influencing factors of which have been extensively studied. However, with respect to its capacity in expanding macroscopic sweep volume under varying heterogeneities, the related results appear inadequate. In this research, three cores with different heterogeneities were used and flooded by the joint water and CO_(2) WAG,then the effects of heterogeneity on oil recovery were determined.More importantly, the cores after CO_(2) WAG injection were investigated using the nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR)technique for remaining oil distribution research, which could help us to understand the capacity of CO_(2) WAG in enlarging sweep volume at different heterogeneities. The results show that the presence of heterogeneity may largely weaken the effectiveness of water flooding, the more severe the heterogeneity, the worse the water flooding. The WAG injection of CO_(2) performs well in EOR after water flooding for all the cores with different heterogeneities;however,it could barely form a complete or full sweep throughout the low-permeability region, and un-swept bypassed regions remain. The homogeneous core is better developed by the injection of the joint water and CO_(2) WAG than the heterogeneous and fractured cases.

文摘The microscopic response characteristics of nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR) are widely used for characterizing complex pore structures of rocks. The numerical experiments are useful for understanding and interpreting NMR measurements and the simulation code provides a numerical tool to perform pixel-based digital rock analysis.
文摘Magnetic properties of single-crystalline preferential {001}-oriented Bi2Fe4O9nanosheets with thickness of about 13 nm, synthesized via a facile hydrothermal method, have been investigated through variable temperature electron spin resonance measurement. A typical ferromagnetic state could be appeared in the measured temperature from 110 K to 300 K and the origin would be contributed to uncompensated surface spin due to its large surface-to-volume ratio and/or a few non-detectable impurities with strong magnetism. Interestingly, another weak ferromagnetic state could present below the temperature about 250 K, indicative of Neel temperature (TN) of antiferromagnetic state, which is slightly lower than that of bulksample of 265 K.

文摘It is well known that the incorrect results will be given using either the electric or magnetic field integral equation to calculate the radar cross section (RCS) of a closed body at the interior resonance. In this paper, an effective iterative technique is used to correct the calculated surface current density from the electric field integral equation. The radar cross section is computed for an infinite conducting circular cylinder at the interior resonance, and the obtained results are in good agreement with the analytical results. The backscattering cross section of an infinite triangular cylinder in the vicinity of a resonant frequency is also calculated. It is shown that the presence method is efficient and accurate.
