Methods The A/D board and the multifunctional board communicating with every instruments were designed, data collecting and processing were realized by selecting appropriate software platform. Results Simulating results show the information processing system can operate correctly and dependably, the measuring rules, interactive interface and data handling method were all accepted by the user. Conclusion The designing approach based on the mix platform takes advantages of the two operating systems, the desired performances are acquired both in the real time processing and with the friendly artistic user interface.展开更多

As a feasible solution, Global Energy Interconnection(GEI) has been highly praised and positively responded by the international community once proposed by China. From strategic conception to implementation, GEI development has entered a new phase of joint action now. Gathering and building a global grid database is a prerequisite for conducting research on GEI. Based on the requirement of global grid data management and application, combining with big data and geographic information technology, this paper studies the global grid data acquisition and analysis process, sorts out and designs the global grid database structure supporting GEI research, and builds a global grid database system.展开更多
With a lack of coverage in private and public power communication networks,especially for collection of information from hydropower stations in remote areas,communication coverage is a significant issue.Satellite comm...With a lack of coverage in private and public power communication networks,especially for collection of information from hydropower stations in remote areas,communication coverage is a significant issue.Satellite communication provides a large coverage area suitable for a variety of services and is less affected by geographical factors;moreover,the costs are independent of the communication distance.This study investigates information acquisition technology for small hydropower stations in remote areas using high-and low-orbit satellites.The information collection needs of small hydropower stations in remote areas are analyzed,and an information acquisition system is designed using high-and low-orbit satellites.For network security protection,network anomaly detection technology based on a support vector machine algorithm is proposed.The effectiveness of information collection was evaluated and verified for small hydropower plants in remote areas.The system provides technical support for“full coverage,full collection,and full monitoring”of the measurement automation information acquisition system.展开更多
Autonomous underwater vehicle(AUV)-assisted data collection is an efficient approach to implementing smart ocean.However,the data collection in time-varying ocean currents is plagued by two critical issues:AUV yaw and...Autonomous underwater vehicle(AUV)-assisted data collection is an efficient approach to implementing smart ocean.However,the data collection in time-varying ocean currents is plagued by two critical issues:AUV yaw and sensor node movement.We propose an adaptive AUV-assisted data collection strategy for ocean currents to address these issues.First,we consider the energy consumption of an AUV in conjunction with the value of information(VoI)over the sensor nodes and formulate an optimization problem to maximize the VoI-energy ratio.The AUV yaw problem is then solved by deriving the AUV's reachable region in different ocean current environments and the optimal cruising direction to the target nodes.Finally,using the predicted VoI-energy ratio,we sequentially design a distributed path planning algorithm to select the next target node for AUV.The simulation results indicate that the proposed strategy can utilize ocean currents to aid AUV navigation,thereby reducing the AUV's energy consumption and ensuring timely data collection.展开更多
