The UV-Vis and infrared(IR)absorption spectra of organophosphorus(OP)pesticides have been studied.A correlation in spectra was developed to optimize the OP pesticides in the environments.The spectroscopic(UV-Vis and I...The UV-Vis and infrared(IR)absorption spectra of organophosphorus(OP)pesticides have been studied.A correlation in spectra was developed to optimize the OP pesticides in the environments.The spectroscopic(UV-Vis and IR)spectrum of OP pesticides like methyl parathion,malathion and parathion has been interpreted in detail.A complete calculation of the normal frequencies and absolute intensities of UV-Vis and IR absorption bands are interpreted with the help of corresponding experimental data.In the colorimetric reactions,the bands appear at 2 077,1 637,1 455,1 015,655cm^(-1) for malathion;2 081,1 639,1 316,1 015,794,683cm^(-1) for parathion;2 078,1 632,1 032,794cm^(-1) for methyl parathion were used for quantitative or qualitative analysis.All these IR spectra were acquired by averaging 100 scans at a resolution of 4cm^(-1).It is determined experimentally in the region 200~450nm for UV-Vis absorption bands and in the region 400~4 000cm^(-1) for IR absorption bands.It is concluded that the mainly optically active groups(P—OH, C=O,P=O, C—O—C,P—O—C, P=S, —OH)present in pesticides which are responsible in change in significant data for quantitative and qualitative analysis.The various optical properties like wavelength,band energy,wave number,and frequency,also are calculated.展开更多

OBJECTIVE Identification of pesticide residues in TCM herbs is important for drug safety and public health.However,it is very challenging for the development of an instrument-based multi-residue pesticide analysis met...OBJECTIVE Identification of pesticide residues in TCM herbs is important for drug safety and public health.However,it is very challenging for the development of an instrument-based multi-residue pesticide analysis method for theherbalproducts due to their complex matrix.This study aims to develop a rapid method for the high-throughput detection of pesticide residues in TCM herbal products using liquid chromatography coupled to quadrupoletime of flight(LC-QTOF)mass spectrometry.METHODS In this study,we attempt to investigate possible pesticide residues in TCM herbal products which are commonly available in Singapore and to consolidate a comprehensive pesticide database for more than 250 regulated pesticides in FDA Regulations.We also attempt to perform non-targeted and targeted screenings of pesticide residues in herbal products by searching our database.RESULTS The developed LC-QTOF method demonstrates have high mass accuracy,resolution and selectivity,which makes it a very suitable tool for monitoring both target and non-target pesticides with a limit of detection at the low ppb level.Moreover,the LC-QTOF technology permits to retain all spectral data in a single run.It may avoid many difficulties related to matrix effects and will save much manpower.CONCLUSIONThis means that a variety of TCM herbs can be easily detected by this method for the presence or absence of pesticide residues that must conform to government regulations.展开更多

The quality of plant husbandry improved during the study period. Thirteen types of pesticides were detected in D. officinale grown in 2014 and antimicrobials, including carbendazim, difenoconazole and azoxystrobin, were evident in 61.53% of plants. These three pesticides constituted 72.33% of all the antimicrobials detected. Planting methods affected the levels of pesticides and heavy metals. Trellising in plastic sheds was optimal, being associated with the lowest amounts of both pesticides and heavy metals. Both cadmium(Cd) and lead(Pb) levels were high in treed plants, whereas Cr, As and Cu levels were the highest in potted plants.展开更多

A new method was developed for the simultaneous analysis of 12 pesticide residues in onion and fennel by gas chromatography(GC)-triple quadrupole mass spectrometry(MS/MS)-electron impact ion source(EI)-select reaction...A new method was developed for the simultaneous analysis of 12 pesticide residues in onion and fennel by gas chromatography(GC)-triple quadrupole mass spectrometry(MS/MS)-electron impact ion source(EI)-select reaction monitoring mode(SRM).The 12 pesticide includes fungicide,acaricide,carbamate and plant growth regulator pesticide.The complicated matrix samples of onion and fennel were extracted by acetonitrile,cleaned up by solid phase extraction of Carb/PSA.By optimizing the GC-MS/MS-SRM parameters,the interference from clean-up procedure was further removed and 12 pesticide residues were determined accurately.The average recoveries for most pesticides(at the spiked level of 0.05-0.20 mg/kg) were between 114%-156%,the relative standard deviation(RSD) of the method was less than 20%,and the limit of detection were 0.5-5 μg/kg.展开更多

An efficient and selective analytical method for the determination of 8 organochlorines pesticides residues(α-666,β-666,γ-666,δ-666,op’-DDT,pp’-DDT,pp’-DDD,pp’-DDE) in coffee has been developed.The cof...An efficient and selective analytical method for the determination of 8 organochlorines pesticides residues(α-666,β-666,γ-666,δ-666,op’-DDT,pp’-DDT,pp’-DDD,pp’-DDE) in coffee has been developed.The coffee samples were extracted with hexane-acetone(1 ∶1,by volume) according to a selective extraction step using accelerated solvent extraction(ASE),followed by a clean-up by gel permeation chromatography(GPC) and a column combined with Florisil and GCB.Identification and quantification were performed using gas chromatography with negative chemical ionization mass spectrometric detection(GC-NCI MS).The method detection limits varied between 0.002 and 0.069 ng/g.The calibration curves showed a good linearity for all OCPs(r≥0.999 5) under a concentration of 0.20-50.0 μg/L.When the spiked levels were 0.5 μg/L and 5 μg/L,the average recoveries were range of 94%-110% with RSD of 3.5%-10.6%.The method was accurate,sensitive and suitable for the analysis of pesticides.展开更多
