Firstly, the sample data were prepared through the design of experiment (DOE). Then, the test data models were set up based on the theory of surrogate model, and the data samples were trained to obtain the response relationship between the SEA & REAF and design parameters. At last, the structure optimal parameters were obtained by visual analysis and genetic algorithm (GA). The results indicate that the KM, where the local interpolation method is used in Gauss correlation function, has the highest fitting accuracy and the structure optimal parameters are obtained as: the SEA of 29.8558 kJ/kg (corresponding toa=70 mm andt= 3.5 mm) and REAF of 0.2896 (corresponding toa=70 mm andt=1.9615 mm). The basis function of the quartic PRSM with higher order than that of the quadratic PRSM, and the mutual influence of the design variables are considered, so the fitting accuracy of the quartic PRSM is higher than that of the quadratic PRSM.展开更多

The results show that the pattern of velocity anomalies in the shallower upper crust is somewhat associated with the surface geological tectonics in the region. A relative low-velocity anomaly appears north of the Wangwu-Wenjiao fault zone and a relative high-velocity anomaly appears south of the Wangwu-Wenjiao fault zone, corresponding to the depressed areas in north Hainan Island, where many volcanoes are frequently active and geothermal values are relatively higher, and the uplifted and stable regions in central and south of the Hainan Is-land. In the middle and lower crust velocities are relatively lower in east Hainan than those in west Hainan,possi-bly suggesting the existence of the upwelling of hot materials from the mantle in east Hainan. The pattern of veloc-ity anomalies also indicates that NW faults,i.e.,the Puqian-Qinglan fault, may be shallower, while the E-W Wangwu-Wenjiao fault may be deeper, which perhaps extends down to Moho depth or deeper.展开更多

And the volume deformation and inflation pressure of expansive soil may induce to cause the deformation failure of roadbed or many other adverse effects. Aimed at a high-speed railway engineering practice in the newly built Yun-Gui high-speed railway expansive soil section in China, indoor vibration test on a full-scaled new cutting subgrade model is carried out. Based on the established track-subgrade-foundation of expansive soil system dynamic model test platform, dynamic behavior of new cutting subgrade structure under train loads coupling with extreme service environment(dry, raining, and groundwater level rising) is analyzed comparatively. The results show that the subgrade dynamic response is significantly influenced by service conditions and the dynamic response of subgrade gradually becomes stable with the increasing vibration times under various service environment conditions. The vertical dynamic soil stress is related with the depth in an approximate exponential function, and the curves of vertical dynamic soil stress present a "Z" shape distribution along transverse distance. The peak value of dynamic soil stress appears below the rail, and it increases more obviously near the roadbed surface. However, the peak value of dynamic soil stress is little affected outside 5.0 m of center line. The vibration velocity and acceleration are in a quadratic curve with an increase in depth, and the raining and groundwater level rising increase both the vibration velocity and the acceleration. The vertical deformations at different depths are differently affected by service environment in roadbed. The deformation of roadbed increases sharply when the water gets in the foundation of expansive soil, and more than 60% of the total deformation of roadbed occurs in expansive soil foundation. The laid waterproofing and drainage structure layer, which weakens the dynamic stress and improves the track regularity, presents a positive effect on the control deformation of roadbed surface. An improved empirical formula is then proposed to predict the dynamic stress of ballasted tracks subgrade of expansive soil.展开更多

Comprehensive identification of these potential faults and fractures that cannot be distinguished directly from seismic profile of the complex structures is still an unanswered problem. Based on the compressional structural geometry and kinematics theories as well as the structural interpretation from seismic data, a set of techniques is established for the identification of potential faults and fractures in compressional structures. Firstly, three-dimensional(3D) patterns and characteristics of the faults directly interpreted from seismic profile were illustrated by 3D structural model. Then, the unfolding index maps, the principal structural curvature maps, and tectonic stress field maps were obtained from structural restoration. Moreover, potential faults and fractures in compressional structures were quantitatively identified relying on comprehensive analysis of these three maps. Successful identification of the potential faults and fractures in Mishrif limestone formation and in Asmari dolomite formation of Buzurgan anticline in Iraq demonstrates the applicability and reliability of these techniques.展开更多

文摘This study proposes a general imperfect thermal contact model to predict the thermal contact resistance at the interface among multi-layered composite structures.Based on the Green-Lindsay(GL)thermoelastic theory, semi analytical solutions of temperature increment and displacement of multi-layered composite structures are obtained by using the Laplace transform method, upon which the effects of thermal resistance coefficient, partition coefficient, thermal conductivity ratio and heat capacity ratio on the responses are studied. The results show that the generalized imperfect thermal contact model can realistically describe the imperfect thermal contact problem.Accordingly,it may degenerate into other thermal contact models by adjusting the thermal resistance coefficient and partition coefficient.

文摘Using over 3 500 first P arrival times recorded by nine digital seismic stations from Hainan Digital Seismic Net-work during 1999~2005,a 3-D P-wave velocity model of the crust under Hainan Island and adjacent regions has been determined. The pattern of veloc-ity anomalies also indicates that NW faults,i.e.,the Puqian-Qinglan fault, may be shallower, while the E-W Wangwu-Wenjiao fault may be deeper, which perhaps extends down to Moho depth or deeper.

文摘Expansive soil is sensitive to dry and wet environment change. An improved empirical formula is then proposed to predict the dynamic stress of ballasted tracks subgrade of expansive soil.

文摘Eccentric decoupling blasting is commonly used in underground excavation.Determination of perimeter hole parameters(such as the blasthole diameter, spacing, and burden)based on an eccentric charge structure is vital for achieving an excellent smooth blasting effect. In this paper, the Riedel-Hiermaier-Thoma(RHT)model was employed to study rock mass damage under smooth blasting.Firstly, the parameters of the RHT model were calibrated by using the existing SHPB experiment, which were then verified by the existing blasting experiment results.Secondly, the influence of different charge structures on the blasting effect was investigated using the RHT model. The simulation results indicated that eccentric charge blasting has an obvious pressure eccentricity effect. Finally,to improve the blasting effect, the smooth blasting parameters were optimized based on an eccentric charge structure. The overbreak and underbreak phenomena were effectively controlled, and a good blasting effect was achieved with the optimized blasting parameters.

文摘Faults and fractures of multiple scales are frequently induced and generated in compressional structural system. Successful identification of the potential faults and fractures in Mishrif limestone formation and in Asmari dolomite formation of Buzurgan anticline in Iraq demonstrates the applicability and reliability of these techniques.
