针对现有非连续正交频分复用(DOFDM)等系统通常只允许认知用户利用授权用户未使用的频带进行共享传输的问题,提出一种新颖的频谱共享传输机制,即混叠正交频分复用多址接入(Overlapped OFDMA),能够在一定条件下实现认知用户与授权用户的... 针对现有非连续正交频分复用(DOFDM)等系统通常只允许认知用户利用授权用户未使用的频带进行共享传输的问题,提出一种新颖的频谱共享传输机制,即混叠正交频分复用多址接入(Overlapped OFDMA),能够在一定条件下实现认知用户与授权用户的混叠频谱共享.通过对一般OFDM系统的信号结构进行研究发现,当认知用户的子载波带宽采用授权用户子载波带宽的一半进行传输、其频谱和授权用户频谱存在一定混叠时,只要认知用户保持和授权用户时域信号准同步且其子载波分配方案满足一定的限制条件,授权用户将不受干扰.由于各载波上的干扰都包含有其它载波的信息,因此认知用户可以通过适当的恢复算法将信息完整地恢复.仿真和分析结果表明,尽管Overlapped OFDMA会带来一定的复杂度,但授权用户的性能和DOFDM系统相比几乎相同,而认知用户却获得了更加优异的吞吐量性能.该机制为频谱共享传输体制的设计提供了新的可能性. 展开更多

An efficient way to alleviate this problem is proper channel assignment. Current end-toend channel assignment schemes usually focus on the case where channels in distinct frequency bands are assigned to mesh access and backbone, but actually backbone network and access network can use the same IEEE 802.11 technology. Besides, these channel assignment schemes only utilize orthogonal channels to perform channel assignment, and the resulting network interference dramatically degrades network performance. Moreover, Internet-oriented traffic is considered only, and peerto-peer traffic is omitted, or vice versa. The traffic type does not match the practical network. In this paper, we explore how to exploit partially overlapped channels to perform endto-end channel assignment in order to achieve effective end-to-end flow transmissions. The proposed flow-based end-to-end channel assignment schemes can conquer the limitations aforementioned. Simulations reveal that loadaware channel assignment can be applied to networks with stable traffic load, and it can achieve near-optimal performance; Traffic-irrelevant channel assignment is suitable for networks with frequent change of traffic load,and it can achieve good balance between performance and overhead. Also, partially overlapped channels' capability of improving network performance is situation-dependent, they should be used carefully. 展开更多

Ultimate Strength of Completely Overlapped Joint for Fixed Offshore Wind Turbine Jacket Substructures

This paper presents an innovative eccentric jacket substructure for offshore wind turbines to better withstand intense environmental forces and to replace conventional X-braced jackets in seismically active areas. The proposed eccentric jacket comprises of completely overlapped joint at every joint connection. The joint consists of a chord and two braces in a single plane. The two braces are fully overlapped with a short segment of the diagonal brace welded directly onto the chord. The characteristic feature of this joint configuration is that the short segment member can be designed to absorb and dissipate energy under cyclic load excitation. The experimental and numerical study revealed that the completely overlapped joint performed better in terms of strength resistance, stiffness, ductility, and energy absorption capacity than the conventional gap joints commonly found in typical X-braced jacket framings. The eccentric jacket could also be designed to becoming less stiff, with an inelastic yielding and local buckling of short segment member, so as to better resist the cyclic load generated from intense environmental forces and earthquake. From the design economics, the eccentric jacket provided a more straightforward fabrication with reduced number of welded joints and shorter thicker wall cans than the conventional X-braced jacket. It can therefore be concluded based on the results presented in the study that by designing the short segment member in accordance with strength and ductility requirement,the eccentric jacket substructure supporting the wind turbine could be made to remain stable under gravity loads and to sustain a significantly large amount of motion in the event of rare and intense earthquake or environmental forces, without collapsing. 展开更多

We present our experimental ablation results for partially overlapped dual nanosecond laser beams(PO-DB)on metal and glass surfaces.Numerical simulations are performed to evaluate the crater reduction potential of the PO-DB setup.Damage probability experiments proved the collaboration of two beams within the overlap region.Bright-field and three-dimensional profile measurements verify the reduced ablation area from the proposed PODB scheme.Laser-induced plasma is generated when transparent glass is ablated.Atomic emission of Na I(~589.95nm)shows comparable signal between the PO-DB set and the traditional single laser beam set.The proposed PO-DB ablation mechanism could also be applied to femtosecond laser systems. 展开更多

The major challenge faced by wireless mesh networks is the capacity reduction caused by interference,and interference can be reduced or even eliminated through appropriate channel assignment.This article presents a comprehensive survey of channel assignment schemes for multicast in multi-radio multi-channel wireless mesh networks.We analyze the state-of-the-art channel assignment schemes for multicast and provide comprehensive taxonomy of the latest work.In general,we classify the channel assignment schemes for multicast into two types,that is,sequential multicast routing and channel assignment(SMRCA)and joint multicast routing and channel assignment(JMRCA).Detailed review of channel assignment schemes in each category is provided.Possible future research directions and corresponding solutions are also explored to motivate research interests in the field of channel assignment for multicast in wireless mesh networks. 展开更多

Overlapped X domain multiplexing(Ov XDM) is a promising encoding technique to obtain high spectral efficiency by utilizing Inter-Symbol Interference(ISI). However, the computational complexity of Maximum Likelihood Sequence Detection(MLSD) increases exponentially with the growth of spectral efficiency in Ov XDM, which is unbearable for practical implementations. This paper proposes an Ov TDM decoding method based on Recurrent Neural Network(RNN) to realize fast decoding of Ov TDM system, which has lower decoding complexity than the traditional fast decoding method. The paper derives the mathematical model of the Ov TDM decoder based on RNN and constructs the decoder model. And we compare the performance of the proposed decoding method with the MLSD algorithm and the Fano algorithm. It’s verified that the proposed decoding method exhibits a higher performance than the traditional fast decoding algorithm, especially for the scenarios of a high overlapped multiplexing coefficient. 展开更多

However, the computational complexity of maximum likelihood sequence detection(MLSD) increases exponentially with the growth of spectral efficiency in OVXDM, which is unbearable for practical implementations. In this paper, based on a novel path metric associating adjacent symbols, we propose a multi-bit sliding stack decoding(Multi-Bit SSD) algorithm to achieve multiple-bit decoding simultaneously in OVXDM. Theoretical analysis is provided for the algorithm, which indicates the relationship between the performance and parameters including multiplexing waveform, overlapping fold and sliding window size. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can achieve better decoding performance and higher spectral efficiency than conventional fast decoding algorithms. 展开更多

Based on the Overlapped Multiplexing Principle[12],a frequency domain OVFDM(Overlapped Frequency Domain Multiplexing) Coding is proposed.By the data weighted shift overlapped version of any band-limited Multiplexing Transfer Function H(f) the coding gain and spectral efficiency are both achieved.The heavier the overlap of the data weighted Multiplexing Transfer Function H(f),the higher the coding gain and spectral efficiency as well as the closer the output to the optimum complex Gaussian distribution.The bit error probability performance is estimated.The time domain OVTDM(Overlapped Time Domain Multiplexing) Coding,the dual of OVFDM in time domain is incidentally proposed as well.Both theoretical analysis and testified simulations show that OVFDM(OVTDM) is suitable for high spectral efficiency application and its spectral efficiency is only roughly linear to SNR rather than the well-known logarithm to SNR. 展开更多

目的分析不同袢氏吻合术对近端胃大部分切除患者的临床疗效及对预后的影响。方法进行近端胃大部分切除术的胃部疾病患者85例,通过随机数字抽签分为实验组(43例)和参照组(42例)。参照组患者实施食管空肠Roux-en-Y吻合术,实验组患者实施改... 目的分析不同袢氏吻合术对近端胃大部分切除患者的临床疗效及对预后的影响。方法进行近端胃大部分切除术的胃部疾病患者85例,通过随机数字抽签分为实验组(43例)和参照组(42例)。参照组患者实施食管空肠Roux-en-Y吻合术,实验组患者实施改良overlap吻合术。比较两组患者治疗效果以及不良反应。结果实验组治疗显效20例(46.51%),有效19例(44.19%),无效4例(9.30%),治疗总有效39例(90.70%);参照组治疗显效15例(35.71%),有效16例(38.10%),无效11例(26.19%),治疗总有效31例(73.81%)。实验组治疗总有效率高于参照组,差异具有统计学意义(χ^(2)=4.170, P<0.05)。实验组不良反应发生率27.91%小于参照组的50.00%,差异具有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论应用改良overlap吻合术在近端胃大部分切除患者的治疗中,能够显著提升患者治疗效果,抑制近端胃大部分切除患者的食管反流情况,促进患者的胃容量恢复,进而提升患者的整体营养恢复以及体重恢复,值得临床推广。 展开更多

Overlapped time domain multiplexing(OvTDM)is an innovative encoding scheme that can obtain high spectral efficiency.However,the intentional inter-symbol interference(ISI)caused by OvTDM will make the decoding process more complex.The computational complexity of maximum likelihood sequence detection increases exponentially with the growth of spectral efficiency in OvTDM.As a consequence of high complexity,the decoding effort for a given spectral efficiency may occasionally exceed the physical limitations of the decoder,leading inevitably to buffer overflows and information erasures.In this paper,we propose a bidirectional Viterbi algorithm(BVA)based on the bidirectional sequence decoding for OvTDM.With the BVA,the decoding operation starts simultaneously from the both ends of the corresponding trellis and stops at the middle of trellis.The simulation results show that compared with Viterbi algorithm(VA),the decoding time of BVA can be reduced by about half.And the memory space of two decoders in BVA are about half of that in VA,which means that the BVA has lower memory requirements for decoder.And the decoding performance of BVA is almost the same as VA. 展开更多

通过重叠延伸PCR(gene splicing by overlap extension,SOE-PCR)扩增黄曲霉寡聚-1,6-葡萄糖苷酶基因和酿酒酵母α-信号肽序列,定向重组到整合型表达载体pδRCMB中,并在CICC1346中实现分泌表达;然后通过同源建模、利用分子模拟软件Discov... 通过重叠延伸PCR(gene splicing by overlap extension,SOE-PCR)扩增黄曲霉寡聚-1,6-葡萄糖苷酶基因和酿酒酵母α-信号肽序列,定向重组到整合型表达载体pδRCMB中,并在CICC1346中实现分泌表达;然后通过同源建模、利用分子模拟软件Discovery Studio 4.1分析其蛋白结构,以对硝基苯-α-D-葡萄糖吡喃苷(pNPG)为底物,建立并确定酶活反应条件,并进行纯化、酶学性质分析;将密码子优化后序列在CICC1346中实现分泌表达,利用淀粉进行共发酵实验。结果显示:重组酶突变后相对野生型蛋白结构无影响。SDS-PAGE分析重组重组酶大小约为70 kDa;优化后最高酶活达到0.69 U/m L,重组酶最适pH为6.5,在pH4.5.0~7.0维持90%以上的酶活;最适温度为40℃,在30~40℃维持接近100%的酶活;受Cu^(2+)和Mn^(2+)严格抑制;寡聚-1,6-葡萄糖苷酶与α-淀粉酶及糖化酶协同利用淀粉产乙醇,提高淀粉水解效率。这是首次报道黄曲霉的寡聚-1,6-葡萄糖苷酶基因在酿酒酵母整合型分泌表达。 展开更多

Community detection is an important methodology for understanding the intrinsic structure and function of a realworld network. In this paper, we propose an effective and efficient algorithm, called Dominant Label Propagation Algorithm(Abbreviated as DLPA), to detect communities in complex networks. The algorithm simulates a special voting process to detect overlapping and non-overlapping community structure in complex networks simultaneously. Our algorithm is very efficient, since its computational complexity is almost linear to the number of edges in the network. Experimental results on both real-world and synthetic networks show that our algorithm also possesses high accuracies on detecting community structure in networks. 展开更多

目的比较反穿刺法与Overlap法在全腹腔镜全胃切除术(totally laparoscopic total gastrectomy,TLTG)食管空肠吻合中的应用效果。方法回顾性分析我院2017年1月~2018年12月75例TLTG的临床资料,依据食管空肠重建方式不同,分为反穿刺组(n=41... 目的比较反穿刺法与Overlap法在全腹腔镜全胃切除术(totally laparoscopic total gastrectomy,TLTG)食管空肠吻合中的应用效果。方法回顾性分析我院2017年1月~2018年12月75例TLTG的临床资料,依据食管空肠重建方式不同,分为反穿刺组(n=41)和Overlap组(n=34)。结果75例均顺利完成全TLTG。与Overlap组比较,反穿刺组吻合时间[(46.4±6.3)min vs(52.9±4.6)min,t=-5.028,P=0.000]和术后住院时间[(11.0±1.3)d vs(11.6±1.2)d,t=-2.363,P=0.021]明显缩短,住院费用明显减少[(44720.7±3499.2)元vs.(48164.6±5536.5)元,t=-3.274,P=0.002],但肠道恢复时间显著延长[(3.8±1.1)d vs.(3.2±0.6)d,t=2.675,P=0.009]。2组总手术时间、术中出血量、清扫淋巴结数目差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。结论全腹腔镜下食管空肠吻合术管型吻合的反穿刺法和线型吻合的Overlap法均安全可行,但反穿刺法在吻合时间和手术费用上更有优势。 展开更多

目的探讨腹腔镜左半结肠切除术中结肠结肠侧侧吻合(Overlap)的临床应用价值。方法2014年5月~2017年10月,按患者及家属意愿将53例腹腔镜下左半结肠根治术分为腔内吻合组(19例)和腔外吻合组(34例)。腔内吻合组采用直线切割缝合器镜下完成O... 目的探讨腹腔镜左半结肠切除术中结肠结肠侧侧吻合(Overlap)的临床应用价值。方法2014年5月~2017年10月,按患者及家属意愿将53例腹腔镜下左半结肠根治术分为腔内吻合组(19例)和腔外吻合组(34例)。腔内吻合组采用直线切割缝合器镜下完成Overlap吻合,扩大脐部观察孔至4 cm将标本和标本袋取出;腔外吻合组扩大左侧腹切口至4~6 cm,体外完成切除和结肠结肠端侧吻合。比较2组手术时间、术中出血量、术后24 h疼痛评分、肛门排气时间、术后住院时间、并发症和手术费用。结果腔内吻合组术后疼痛评分低[(5.6±1.4)分vs.(6.7±1.5)分,t=-2.508,P=0.015],但手术费用高[(2.8±0.4)万元vs.(2.1±0.4)万元,t=5.952,P=0.000],2组手术时间、术中出血量、排气时间、术后住院时间、并发症无显著性差异(P>0.05)。结论腹腔镜左半结肠切除术采用Overlap吻合方式安全可行,更为微创。 展开更多

In marine engineering,appendages such as fin stabilizers and/or T-foils are made to rotate and to reduce the motion of ships.Research on the hydrodynamics of ships fitted with active appendages has significantly improved the design and control of such ships.However,most studies focus on fixed rather than rotating appendages,thereby ignoring the hydrodynamic unsteadiness of active appendages.To enhance the reliability and precision of the numerical simulations,we propose the use of overlapping grids for simulating advanced catamarans fitted with a pair of rotating T-foils under each bow.The fundamental purpose of the overlapping grid technique is to realize information exchange via regional overlap sharing in each subdomain of the computing domain,instead of using the method of boundary sharing,thus greatly alleviating the difficulty of generating the subdomain grid;moreover,the technique guarantees the quality of the subdomain grid.Within the main computational domain,a subdomain was allocated to accommodate the T-foil.Overlapping meshes near the interface between the two domains enable information flow during the simulation;the overlapping grids are updated at every iteration step because the subdomain rotates.The instantaneous trim and sinkage responses of the catamaran to the T-foil rotation were reproduced.From the moment the active T-foil stopped moving,there was no change in the ship’s sailing attitude,indicating that the response was in real time.By comparing with EFD data,the numerical results showed reasonable agreement,indicating the feasibility and effectiveness of the technique in simulating the hydrodynamics of ships fitted with active appendages. 展开更多

Irregular shape workface would result in the presence of coal pillar, which leads to high stress concentration and possibly induces coal bumps. In order to study the coal bump mechanism of pillars, static and dynamic stress overlapping(SDSO) method was proposed to explain the impacts of static stress concentration and tremors induced by mining activities. The stress and deformation in surrounding rock of mining face were analyzed based on the field case study at 1303 workface in Zhaolou Coal Mine in China.The results illustrate that the surrounding rock of a workface could be divided into four different zones,i.e., residual stress zone, stress decrease zone, stress increase zone and original stress zone. The stress increase zone is prone to failure under the SDSO impact loading conditions and will provide elastic energy for inducing coal bump. Based on the numerical modelling results, the evolution of static stress in coal pillar as the size of gob increasing was studied, and the impact of dynamic stress was investigated through analyzing the characteristics of tremor activities. The numerical results demonstrate the peak value of vertical stress in coal pillar rises from about 30 MPa with mining distance 10 m to 52.6 MPa with mining distance 120 m, and the location of peak stress transfers to the inner zone of coal pillars as the workface moves forward. For the daily tremor activities, tremors with high energy released indicate high dynamic stress disturbance on the surrounding rock, therefore, the impact of dynamic stressing is more serious during workface extension period because the tremor frequency and average energy after workface extension are higher than those before the workface extension. 展开更多
