An improved estimation of distribution algorithm(IEDA)is proposed in this paper for efficient design of metamaterial absorbers.This algorithm establishes a probability model through the selected dominant groups and samples from the model to obtain the next generation,avoiding the problem of building-blocks destruction caused by crossover and mutation.Neighboring search from artificial bee colony algorithm(ABCA)is introduced to enhance the local optimization ability and improved to raise the speed of convergence.The probability model is modified by boundary correction and loss correction to enhance the robustness of the algorithm.The proposed IEDA is compared with other intelligent algorithms in relevant references.The results show that the proposed IEDA has faster convergence speed and stronger optimization ability,proving the feasibility and effectiveness of the algorithm. 展开更多

This paper discusses the problem of direction of departure (DOD) and direction of arrival (DOA) estimation for a bistatic multiple input multiple output (MIMO) radar, and proposes an improved reduced-dimension Capon algorithm therein. Compared with the reduced-dimension Capon algorithm which requires pair matching between the two-dimensional angle estimation, the pro- posed algorithm can obtain automatically paired DOD and DOA estimation without debasing the performance of angle estimation in bistatic MIMO radar. Furthermore, the proposed algorithm has a lower complexity than the reduced-dimension Capon algorithm, and it is suitable for non-uniform linear arrays. The complexity of the proposed algorithm is analyzed and the Cramer-Rao bound (CRB) is also derived. Simulation results verify the usefulness of the proposed algorithm. 展开更多

The proposed method is effective in the demand for the estimation of different parameters and the unknown signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) circumstance. How- ever, the ABC algorithm does not use the social information and lacks the knowledge of the problem structure, which leads to in- sufficiency in both convergent speed and searching precision. Archimedean copula estimation of distribution algorithm (ACEDA) is a relatively simple, time-economic and multivariate correlated EDA. This paper proposes a novel hybrid algorithm based on the ABC algorithm and ACEDA called Archimedean copula estima- tion of distribution based on the artificial bee colony (ACABC) algorithm. The hybrid algorithm utilizes ACEDA to estimate the distribution model and then uses the information to help artificial bees to search more efficiently in the search space. Six bench- mark functions are introduced to assess the performance of the ACABC algorithm on numerical function optimization. Experimen- tal results show that the ACABC algorithm converges much faster with greater precision compared with the ABC algorithm, ACEDA and the global best (gbest)-guided ABC (GABC) algorithm in most of the experiments. 展开更多

In order to reduce the computation of complex problems, a new surrogate-assisted estimation of distribution algorithm with Gaussian process was proposed. Coevolution was used in dual populations which evolved in parallel. The search space was projected into multiple subspaces and searched by sub-populations. Also, the whole space was exploited by the other population which exchanges information with the sub-populations. In order to make the evolutionary course efficient, multivariate Gaussian model and Gaussian mixture model were used in both populations separately to estimate the distribution of individuals and reproduce new generations. For the surrogate model, Gaussian process was combined with the algorithm which predicted variance of the predictions. The results on six benchmark functions show that the new algorithm performs better than other surrogate-model based algorithms and the computation complexity is only 10% of the original estimation of distribution algorithm. 展开更多

In this work, focusing on the demerit of AEA (Alopex-based evolutionary algorithm) algorithm, an improved AEA algorithm (AEA-C) which was fused AEA with clonal selection algorithm was proposed. Considering the irrationality of the method that generated candidate solutions at each iteration of AEA, clonal selection algorithm could be applied to improve the method. The performance of the proposed new algorithm was studied by using 22 benchmark functions and was compared with original AEA given the same conditions. The experimental results show that the AEA-C clearly outperforms the original AEA for almost all the 22 benchmark functions with 10, 30, 50 dimensions in success rates, solution quality and stability. Furthermore, AEA-C was applied to estimate 6 kinetics parameters of the fermentation dynamics models. The standard deviation of the objective function calculated by the AEA-C is 41.46 and is far less than that of other literatures' results, and the fitting curves obtained by AEA-C are more in line with the actual fermentation process curves. 展开更多

The multi-compartment electric vehicle routing problem(EVRP)with soft time window and multiple charging types(MCEVRP-STW&MCT)is studied,in which electric multi-compartment vehicles that are environmentally friendly but need to be recharged in course of transport process,are employed.A mathematical model for this optimization problem is established with the objective of minimizing the function composed of vehicle cost,distribution cost,time window penalty cost and charging service cost.To solve the problem,an estimation of the distribution algorithm based on Lévy flight(EDA-LF)is proposed to perform a local search at each iteration to prevent the algorithm from falling into local optimum.Experimental results demonstrate that the EDA-LF algorithm can find better solutions and has stronger robustness than the basic EDA algorithm.In addition,when comparing with existing algorithms,the result shows that the EDA-LF can often get better solutions in a relatively short time when solving medium and large-scale instances.Further experiments show that using electric multi-compartment vehicles to deliver incompatible products can produce better results than using traditional fuel vehicles. 展开更多

This paper investigates the problem of synchronization for offset quadrature amplitude modulation based orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM/OQAM) systems based on the genetic algorithm. In order to increase the spectrum efficiency,an improved preamble structure without guard symbols is derived at first. On this basis, instead of deriving the log likelihood function of power spectral density, joint estimation of the symbol timing offset and carrier frequency offset based on the preamble proposed is formulated into a bivariate optimization problem. After that, an improved genetic algorithm is used to find its global optimum solution. Conclusions can be drawn from simulation results that the proposed method has advantages in the joint estimation of synchronization. 展开更多

In this work, a novel mathematic model for the hybrid flow shop scheduling problem with unrelated parallel machine(HFSPUPM) was proposed. Additionally, an effective hybrid estimation of distribution algorithm was proposed to solve the HFSPUPM, taking advantage of the features in the mathematic model. In the optimization algorithm, a new individual representation method was adopted. The(EDA) structure was used for global search while the teaching learning based optimization(TLBO) strategy was used for local search. Based on the structure of the HFSPUPM, this work presents a series of discrete operations. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed hybrid algorithm compared with other algorithms. 展开更多

A novel estimation algorithm is introduced to handle the popular undersea problem called torpedo tracking with angle-only measurements with a better approach compared to the existing filters. The new algorithm produces a better estimate from the outputs produced by the traditional nonlinear approaches with the assistance of simple noise minimizers like maximum likelihood filter or any other algorithm which belongs to their family. The introduced method is extended to the higher version in two ways. The first approach extracts a better estimate and covariance by enhancing the count of the intermediate filters, while the second approach accepts more inputs so as to attain improved performance without enhancement of the intermediate filter count. The ideal choice of the placement of towed array sensors to improve the performance of the proposed method further is suggested as the one where the line of sight and the towed array are perpendicular. The results could get even better by moving the ownship in the direction of reducing range. All the results are verified in the MATLAB environment. 展开更多

A feedforward approach for generating near time optimal controller for flexible spacecraft rest-to-rest maneuvers is presented with the objective insensitivity to modeling errors, parameter uncertainty and minimizing the residual energy of the flexible modes. The perturbation estimation of flexible appendages to the rigid-hub is accomplished simply via compare the output of real plant with the reference model, and the approach is based on combine this estimation with the bang-bang control for the rigid-hub modes through analysis the basic constraint and the additional constraint, i.e. zero coupling torque and zero coupling torque derivative for general two orders system and three orders system with considerate attitude acceleration mode near time optimal controls. These time optimal controls with control constraints and state constraints leads to forming a boundary-value problem, and resolved the problem using an iterative numerical algorithm. The near time optimal control with perturbation estimation shows a good robust to parameter uncertainty and can suppress the vibration and minimizing the residual energy. The capability of this approach is demonstrated through a numerical example in detail. 展开更多

In order to resolve direction finding problems in the impulse noise,a direction of arrival(DOA)estimation method is proposed.The proposed DOA estimation method can restrain the impulse noise by using infinite norm exponential kernel covariance matrix and obtain excellent performance via the maximumlikelihood(ML)algorithm.In order to obtain the global optimal solutions of this method,a quantum electromagnetic field optimization(QEFO)algorithm is designed.In view of the QEFO algorithm,the proposed method can resolve the difficulties of DOA estimation in the impulse noise.Comparing with some traditional DOA estimation methods,the proposed DOA estimation method shows high superiority and robustness for determining the DOA of independent and coherent sources,which has been verified via the Monte-Carlo experiments of different schemes,especially in the case of snapshot deficiency,low generalized signal to noise ratio(GSNR)and strong impulse noise.Beyond that,the Cramer-Rao bound(CRB)of angle estimation in the impulse noise and the proof of the convergence of the QEFO algorithm are provided in this paper. 展开更多

快速搜索和发现密度峰值聚类(DPC)算法是一种基于密度的聚类算法。该算法不需要迭代和过多的设定参数,但由于计算局部密度时没有考虑数据的局部结构,导致无法识别簇密度小的聚类中心。针对此问题,提出基于K互近邻(KN)和核密度估计(KDE)... 快速搜索和发现密度峰值聚类(DPC)算法是一种基于密度的聚类算法。该算法不需要迭代和过多的设定参数,但由于计算局部密度时没有考虑数据的局部结构,导致无法识别簇密度小的聚类中心。针对此问题,提出基于K互近邻(KN)和核密度估计(KDE)的DPC(KKDPC)算法。通过K近邻和核密度估计方法得到数据点的K互近邻数量和局部核密度;将K互近邻数量与局部核密度进行加和获得新的局部密度;根据数据点的局部密度得到相对距离,并通过构建决策图选取聚类中心及分配非中心点。利用人工数据集和真实数据集进行实验,并与DPC、基于密度的噪声空间聚类应用(DBSCAN)、K-means、模糊C均值聚类算法(FCM)、基于K近邻的DPC(DPCKNN)、近邻优化DPC(DPC-NNO)、基于模糊加权共享邻居的DPC(DPC-FWSN)算法进行对比。通过计算调整互信息(AMI)、调整兰德指数(ARI)、归一化互信息(NMI)来验证KKDPC算法的性能。实验结果表明:KKDPC算法能更加准确地识别聚类中心,有效地提高聚类精度。 展开更多

汽车高性能主动悬架对提升驾乘体验感具有显著优势,鲁棒性控制算法是发挥主动悬架性能的重要保障。针对典型鲁棒控制算法难以实现有效扰动估计和补偿的问题,本文提出了H_(2)/H_(∞)-H_(2)-IUDE算法,采用IUDE算法估计并补偿扰动,并引入H_... 汽车高性能主动悬架对提升驾乘体验感具有显著优势,鲁棒性控制算法是发挥主动悬架性能的重要保障。针对典型鲁棒控制算法难以实现有效扰动估计和补偿的问题,本文提出了H_(2)/H_(∞)-H_(2)-IUDE算法,采用IUDE算法估计并补偿扰动,并引入H_(2)状态观测器,相比H_(2)/H_(∞)算法增强了鲁棒性。首先,建立了半车主动悬架控制系统模型,并定义了扰动形式。然后,提出能实现扰动估计和补偿解耦的IUDE算法,并提出一种H_(2)状态观测器,进而实现了对H_(2)/H_(∞)算法的再设计。最后,针对随机路面和减速带路面等典型工况进行仿真分析。结果表明,所提出的算法相比H_(2)/H_(∞)算法,随机路面工况的车身质心垂向加速度和俯仰角均方根值分别下降了7.6%和5.9%,对汽车平顺性有明显改善。同时,所提出的H_(2)观测器能有效估计系统状态,IUDE算法能准确估计扰动,并能够避免非解耦型UDE方法带来的悬架动挠度恶化问题,具有优异的扰动估计和灵活补偿的突出特点。 展开更多

锂离子电池健康状态估计直接影响锂电池系统的安全性与可靠性,是电池管理系统中的一项重要功能。针对现有数据驱动的SOH估计方法中存在的缺乏不确定性表达、训练数据与测试数据未完全解耦等问题,本工作提出了一种基于白鹭群优化与高斯... 锂离子电池健康状态估计直接影响锂电池系统的安全性与可靠性,是电池管理系统中的一项重要功能。针对现有数据驱动的SOH估计方法中存在的缺乏不确定性表达、训练数据与测试数据未完全解耦等问题,本工作提出了一种基于白鹭群优化与高斯过程回归相结合的SOH估计方法。首先,从同类电池的充电电压、电流及弛豫电压信息中提取与电池老化相关的健康特征,并通过Pearson相关分析法筛选出与电池容量相关性高的健康特征。随后,采用平方指数核函数的高斯过程回归模型进行SOH估计,采用白鹭群优化算法优化GPR模型中超参数。最后,选取同济大学数据集中的NCA和NCM两类电池数据进行实验,验证所提模型的准确性与鲁棒性。实验结果表明,所提方法能够有效提高SOH估计的精度与可靠性。对于所测电池类型中,SOH估计误差的最大RMSE和MAE分别为0.0028和0.22%,相较于传统的GPR模型,误差指标分别降低了58.82%和57.69%。此外,该方法还能够实现SOH区间精准估计,避免高估电池SOH造成的安全问题。 展开更多

变电站保护测量回路受测量误差影响,保护灵敏度降低,对于重载线路可能引起保护误动,会造成严重后果.为推动保护测量的状态监视,提出一种基于鲸鱼优化(whale optimization algorithm,WOA)的变分模态分解(variational mode decomposition,... 变电站保护测量回路受测量误差影响,保护灵敏度降低,对于重载线路可能引起保护误动,会造成严重后果.为推动保护测量的状态监视,提出一种基于鲸鱼优化(whale optimization algorithm,WOA)的变分模态分解(variational mode decomposition,VMD)和贝叶斯估计的保护测量回路误差评估方法.针对保护测量回路的电流数据,引入WOA并结合包络熵作为适应度函数确定VMD的关键参数,基于WOA-VMD将原电流数据分解为本征模态;进一步为解决特征数目过多所带来的复杂数据分析问题,引入皮尔逊相关系数方法计算其各组系数优选特征量;最终利用贝叶斯估计法量化分析优选后的特征量信号实现误差判定.实验结果表明,本文的评估方法能够准确监测保护测量回路2%的误差偏移. 展开更多
