The belief rule-based(BRB)system has been popular in complexity system modeling due to its good interpretability.However,the current mainstream optimization methods of the BRB systems only focus on modeling accuracy b...The belief rule-based(BRB)system has been popular in complexity system modeling due to its good interpretability.However,the current mainstream optimization methods of the BRB systems only focus on modeling accuracy but ignore the interpretability.The single-objective optimization strategy has been applied in the interpretability-accuracy trade-off by inte-grating accuracy and interpretability into an optimization objec-tive.But the integration has a greater impact on optimization results with strong subjectivity.Thus,a multi-objective optimiza-tion framework in the modeling of BRB systems with inter-pretability-accuracy trade-off is proposed in this paper.Firstly,complexity and accuracy are taken as two independent opti-mization goals,and uniformity as a constraint to give the mathe-matical description.Secondly,a classical multi-objective opti-mization algorithm,nondominated sorting genetic algorithm II(NSGA-II),is utilized as an optimization tool to give a set of BRB systems with different accuracy and complexity.Finally,a pipeline leakage detection case is studied to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the developed multi-objective optimization.The comparison illustrates that the proposed multi-objective optimization framework can effectively avoid the subjectivity of single-objective optimization,and has capability of joint optimiz-ing the structure and parameters of BRB systems with inter-pretability-accuracy trade-off.展开更多
Model-based system-of-systems(SOS)engineering(MBSoSE)is becoming a promising solution for the design of SoS with increasing complexity.However,bridging the models from the design phase to the simulation phase poses si...Model-based system-of-systems(SOS)engineering(MBSoSE)is becoming a promising solution for the design of SoS with increasing complexity.However,bridging the models from the design phase to the simulation phase poses significant challenges and requires an integrated approach.In this study,a unified requirement modeling approach is proposed based on unified architecture framework(UAF).Theoretical models are proposed which compose formalized descriptions from both topdown and bottom-up perspectives.Based on the description,the UAF profile is proposed to represent the SoS mission and constituent systems(CS)goal.Moreover,the agent-based simulation information is also described based on the overview,design concepts,and details(ODD)protocol as the complement part of the SoS profile,which can be transformed into different simulation platforms based on the eXtensible markup language(XML)technology and model-to-text method.In this way,the design of the SoS is simulated automatically in the early design stage.Finally,the method is implemented and an example is given to illustrate the whole process.展开更多

A system of systems(SoS)composes a set of independent constituent systems(CSs),where the degree of authority to control the independence of CSs varies,depending on different SoS types.Key researchers describe four SoS...A system of systems(SoS)composes a set of independent constituent systems(CSs),where the degree of authority to control the independence of CSs varies,depending on different SoS types.Key researchers describe four SoS types with descending levels of central authority:directed,acknowledged,collaborative and virtual.Although the definitions have been recognized in SoS engineering,what is challenging is the difficulty of translating these definitions into models and simulation environments.Thus,we provide a goal-based method including a mathematical baseline to translate these definitions into more effective agent-based modeling and simulations.First,we construct the theoretical models of CS and SoS.Based on the theoretical models,we analyze the degree of authority influenced by SoS characteristics.Next,we propose a definition of SoS types by quantitatively explaining the degree of authority.Finally,we recognize the differences between acknowledged SoS and collaborative SoS using a migrating waterfowl flock by an agentbased model(ABM)simulation.This paper contributes to the SoS body of knowledge by increasing our understanding of the degree of authority in an SoS,so we may identify suitable SoS types to achieve SoS goals by modeling and simulation.展开更多

This paper briefly surveys the history of development in the area of multirate systems, and introduces some basic concepts and latest results on multirate systems, including a polynomial transformation technique and the lifting technique as tools for handling multirate systems, lifted state space models, parameter identification of dual-rate systems, how to determine fast single-rate models from dual-rate models and directly from dual-rate data, and a hierarchical identification method for general multirate systems. One of the main goals of internal ballist...A deep understanding of the internal ballistic process and the factors affecting it is of primary importance to efficiently design a gun system and ensure its safe management. One of the main goals of internal ballistics is to estimate the gas pressure into the combustion chamber and the projectile muzzle velocity in order to use the propellant to its higher efficiency while avoiding over-pressure phenomena. Dealing with the internal ballistic problem is a complex undertaking since it requires handling the interaction between different constituents during a transient time lapse with very steep rise of pressure and temperature. Several approaches have been proposed in the literature, based on different assumptions and techniques. Generally, depending on the used mathematical framework, they can be classified into two categories: computational fluid dynamics-based models and lumped-parameter ones. By focusing on gun systems, this paper offers a review of the main contributions in the field by mentioning their advantages and drawbacks. An insight into the limitations of the currently available modelling strategies is provided,as well as some considerations on the choice of one model over another. Lumped-parameter models, for example, are a good candidate for performing parametric analysis and optimisation processes of gun systems, given their minimum requirements of computer resources. Conversely, CFD-based models have a better capacity to address more sophisticated phenomena like pressure waves and turbulent flow effects. The performed review also reveals that too little attention has been given to small calibre guns since the majority of currently available models are conceived for medium and large calibre gun systems.Similarly, aspects like wear phenomena, bore deformations or projectile-barrel interactions still need to be adequately addressed and our suggestion is to dedicate more effort on it.展开更多
To address the current problems of poor generality,low real-time,and imperfect information transmission of the battlefield target intelligence system,this paper studies the battlefield target intelligence system from ...To address the current problems of poor generality,low real-time,and imperfect information transmission of the battlefield target intelligence system,this paper studies the battlefield target intelligence system from the top-level perspective of multi-service joint warfare.First,an overall planning and analysis method of architecture modeling is proposed with the idea of a bionic analogy for battlefield target intelligence system architecture modeling,which reduces the difficulty of the planning and design process.The method introduces the Department of Defense architecture framework(DoDAF)modeling method,the multi-living agent(MLA)theory modeling method,and other combinations for planning and modeling.A set of rapid planning methods that can be applied to model the architecture of various types of complex systems is formed.Further,the liveness analysis of the battlefield target intelligence system is carried out,and the problems of the existing system are presented from several aspects.And the technical prediction of the development and construction is given,which provides directional ideas for the subsequent research and development of the battlefield target intelligence system.In the end,the proposed architecture model of the battlefield target intelligence system is simulated and verified by applying the colored Petri nets(CPN)simulation software.The analysis demonstrates the reasonable integrity of its logic.展开更多

To explore the influence of intelligent highways and advanced traveler information systems(ATIS)on path choice behavior,a day-to-day(DTD)traffic flow evolution model with information from intelligent highways and ATIS...To explore the influence of intelligent highways and advanced traveler information systems(ATIS)on path choice behavior,a day-to-day(DTD)traffic flow evolution model with information from intelligent highways and ATIS is proposed,whereby the network reliability and experiential learning theory are introduced into the decision process for the travelers’route choice.The intelligent highway serves all the travelers who drive on it,whereas ATIS serves vehicles equipped with information systems.Travelers who drive on intelligent highways or vehicles equipped with ATIS determine their trip routes based on real-time traffic information,whereas other travelers use both the road network conditions from the previous day and historical travel experience to choose a route.Both roadway capacity degradation and travel demand fluctuations are considered to demonstrate the uncertainties in the network.The theory of traffic network flow is developed to build a DTD model considering information from intelligent highway and ATIS.The fixed point theorem is adopted to investigate the equivalence,existence and stability of the proposed DTD model.Numerical examples illustrate that using a high confidence level and weight parameter for the traffic flow reduces the stability of the proposed model.The traffic flow reaches a steady state as travelers’routes shift with repetitive learning of road conditions.The proposed model can be used to formulate scientific traffic organization and diversion schemes during road expansion or reconstruction.展开更多
Diesel engines meeting the latest emission regulations must be equipped with exhaust gas aftertreatment system,including diesel oxidation catalysts(DOC),diesel particulate filters(DPF),and selective catalytic reductio...Diesel engines meeting the latest emission regulations must be equipped with exhaust gas aftertreatment system,including diesel oxidation catalysts(DOC),diesel particulate filters(DPF),and selective catalytic reduction(SCR).However,before the final integration of the aftertreatment system(DOC+DPF+SCR)and the diesel engine,a reasonable structural optimization of the catalytic converters and a large number of bench calibration tests must be completed,involving large costs and long development cycles.The design and optimization of the exhaust gas aftertreatment system for a heavy-duty diesel engine was proposed in this paper.Firstly,one-dimensional(1D)and threedimensional(3D)computational models of the exhaust gas aftertreatment system accounting for the structural parameters of the catalytic converters were established.Then based on the calibrated models,the effects of the converter’s structural parameters on their main performance indicators,including the conversion of various exhaust pollutants and the temperatures and pressure drops of the converters,were studied.Finally,the optimal design scheme was obtained.The temperature distribution of the solid substrates and pressure distributions of the catalytic converters were studied based on the 3D model.The method proposed in this paper has guiding significance for the optimization of diesel engine aftertreatment systems.展开更多
近年来,综合能源系统作为一种以多种能源形态和设备相互交互的能源系统方案得到了广泛应用和研究.然而,在面对动态复杂的多能源系统时,传统的优化调度方法往往无法满足其实时性和精准度需求.因此,本文设计了一种软深度确定性策略梯度(So...近年来,综合能源系统作为一种以多种能源形态和设备相互交互的能源系统方案得到了广泛应用和研究.然而,在面对动态复杂的多能源系统时,传统的优化调度方法往往无法满足其实时性和精准度需求.因此,本文设计了一种软深度确定性策略梯度(Soft Deep Deterministic Policy Gradient,Soft-DDPG)算法驱动的综合能源系统优化调度方法,以最小化调度周期内系统总运行成本为目标,建立设备运行综合能效评估模型,再采用Soft-DDPG算法对每个能源设备的能效调度动作进行优化控制.Soft-DDPG算法将softmax算子引入到动作值函数的计算中,有效降低了Q值高估问题.与此同时,该算法在动作选择策略中加入了随机噪声,提高了算法的学习效率.实验结果显示,本文所提出的方法解决了综合能源系统能效调度实时性差、精准度低的瓶颈问题,实现了系统的高效灵活调度,降低了系统的总运行成本.展开更多

The guidance strategies of mobile agents based on coverage optimization methods are proposed to improve the control performance of the system and make the state norm of the system converge to zero faster. The coverage optimization problems are constructed based on the measurement of each agent. By solving the coverage optimization problems, the local optimal moving direction of each agent can be obtained. Then the gradient-based agent motion control laws are established. With the indicator function and the surface delta function, this method is generalized to n-dimensional space, and suitable for any sensing region with piecewise smooth boundaries. The stability and control performance of the system are analyzed. Numerical simulations show the effectiveness of the proposed methods.展开更多

The suitable amplification procedure consisted of an initial denaturation at 94℃ for 5 min; denaturation at 94℃ for 1 min, annealing at 35℃ for 1 rain, extension at 72℃ for 90 s and in total five cycles; denaturation at 94℃ for 1 min, annealing at 50℃ for 1 min, extension at 72℃ for 90 s and in total 35 cycles; extension at 72℃ for 8 rain; preservation at 4℃. This problem is formulated as minimizing the l1-norm of a closed-loop transfer matrix while maintaining the H2-norm of another closed-loop transfer matrix at prescribed level. The continuity property of the optimal value in respect to changes in the H2-norm constraint is studied. The existence of the optimal solutions of mixed l1/H2 problem is proved. Because the solution of the mixed l1/H2 problem is based on the scaled-Q method, it avoids the zero interpolation difficulties. The convergent upper and lower bounds can be obtained by solving a sequence of finite dimensional nonlinear programming for which many efficient numerical optimization algorithms exist.展开更多

XML data exchange standard is combined to design the XML based language, SCSL, to support simulation model representation. The corresponding relationship between SCSL and simulation model formalism is discussed and the syntax and semantics of elements in SCSL are detailed. Based on simulation model formal specification, the abstract simulation algorithm is given and SCSL virtual machine, which is capable of automatically interpreting and executing simulation model represented by SCSL, is designed. Finally an application case is presented, which can show the validation of the theory and verification of SCSL.展开更多

In this regard systems ...Due to the importance and role of systems engineering in space mission developments, optimization of Omid's systems engineering as a milestone to its current and future generations is focused. In this regard systems engineering management organization as the basis of optimization work flow in the conceptual design phase is proposed for improvement. To improve the systems engineering management, an agile enhanced organization chart is developed that defines various system duties. This is a type of concurrent engineering approach that promotes direct communication and data interchange between the team members. Due to the importance of decision making in the conceptual design phase, two design matrices are constructed that portray merits of various design options in terms of improved satellite life as well as specific choices of remote sensing capability for the Omid second generation(Omid-2). Conceptual design optimization is explored considering several structural objectives as well as optimal solar energy absorption utilizing a multiple criteria decision making approach. The Eigenvector method is utilized to formulate the objective function via expert judgment. This approach is robust with respect to designer probable miss-judgment. The optimized version of Omid-2 turned out to be a passive Z-axis spin stabilized satellite made of hexagonal honeycomb configuration with carbon-epoxy side panels and Aluminum bottom plate.展开更多

This paper briefly surveys the history of development in the area of multirate systems, and introduces some basic concepts and latest results on multirate systems, including a polynomial transformation technique and the lifting technique as tools for handling multirate systems, lifted state space models, parameter identification of dual-rate systems, how to determine fast single-rate models from dual-rate models and directly from dual-rate data, and a hierarchical identification method for general multirate systems. Finally, some further research topics for multirate systems are given.

文摘A deep understanding of the internal ballistic process and the factors affecting it is of primary importance to efficiently design a gun system and ensure its safe management. One of the main goals of internal ballistics is to estimate the gas pressure into the combustion chamber and the projectile muzzle velocity in order to use the propellant to its higher efficiency while avoiding over-pressure phenomena. Dealing with the internal ballistic problem is a complex undertaking since it requires handling the interaction between different constituents during a transient time lapse with very steep rise of pressure and temperature. Several approaches have been proposed in the literature, based on different assumptions and techniques. Generally, depending on the used mathematical framework, they can be classified into two categories: computational fluid dynamics-based models and lumped-parameter ones. By focusing on gun systems, this paper offers a review of the main contributions in the field by mentioning their advantages and drawbacks. An insight into the limitations of the currently available modelling strategies is provided,as well as some considerations on the choice of one model over another. Lumped-parameter models, for example, are a good candidate for performing parametric analysis and optimisation processes of gun systems, given their minimum requirements of computer resources. Conversely, CFD-based models have a better capacity to address more sophisticated phenomena like pressure waves and turbulent flow effects. The performed review also reveals that too little attention has been given to small calibre guns since the majority of currently available models are conceived for medium and large calibre gun systems.Similarly, aspects like wear phenomena, bore deformations or projectile-barrel interactions still need to be adequately addressed and our suggestion is to dedicate more effort on it.

文摘To address the current problems of poor generality,low real-time,and imperfect information transmission of the battlefield target intelligence system,this paper studies the battlefield target intelligence system from the top-level perspective of multi-service joint warfare.First,an overall planning and analysis method of architecture modeling is proposed with the idea of a bionic analogy for battlefield target intelligence system architecture modeling,which reduces the difficulty of the planning and design process.The method introduces the Department of Defense architecture framework(DoDAF)modeling method,the multi-living agent(MLA)theory modeling method,and other combinations for planning and modeling.A set of rapid planning methods that can be applied to model the architecture of various types of complex systems is formed.Further,the liveness analysis of the battlefield target intelligence system is carried out,and the problems of the existing system are presented from several aspects.And the technical prediction of the development and construction is given,which provides directional ideas for the subsequent research and development of the battlefield target intelligence system.In the end,the proposed architecture model of the battlefield target intelligence system is simulated and verified by applying the colored Petri nets(CPN)simulation software.The analysis demonstrates the reasonable integrity of its logic.

文摘We consider a scenario where an unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV),a typical unmanned aerial system(UAS),transmits confidential data to a moving ground target in the presence of multiple eavesdroppers.Multiple friendly reconfigurable intelligent surfaces(RISs) help to secure the UAV-target communication and improve the energy efficiency of the UAV.We formulate an optimization problem to minimize the energy consumption of the UAV,subject to the mobility constraint of the UAV and that the achievable secrecy rate at the target is over a given threshold.We present an online planning method following the framework of model predictive control(MPC) to jointly optimize the motion of the UAV and the configurations of the RISs.The effectiveness of the proposed method is validated via computer simulations.

文摘The minimization problem of time delays in networked control system (NCS) is concered, which is a hot area of such research field. First, some analysis and comments on time-delayed NCS model listed in previous work are given. Then, time delay minimization problem based on average behavior of network queuing delay is presented. Under fixed routing scheme and certain optimization performance indexes, the delay minimization problem is translated into convex optimization problem. And the solution of the delay minimization problems is attained through optimized allocation of flow rates among network links.
文摘The development process of complex equipment involves multi-stage business processes,multi-level product architecture,and multi-disciplinary physical processes.The relationship between its system model and various disciplinary models is extremely complicated.In the modeling and integration process,extensive customized development is needed to realize model integration and interoperability in different business scenarios.Meanwhile,the differences in modeling and interaction between different modeling tools make it difficult to support the consistent representation of models in complex scenarios.To improve the efficiency of system modeling and integration in complex business scenarios,a system modeling and integration method was proposed.This method took the Sys ML language kernel as the core and system model function integration as the main line.Through the technical means of model view separation,abstract operation interface,and model view configuration,the model modeling and integration of multi-user,multi-model,multi-view,and different business logic in complex business scenarios were realized.

文摘To explore the influence of intelligent highways and advanced traveler information systems(ATIS)on path choice behavior,a day-to-day(DTD)traffic flow evolution model with information from intelligent highways and ATIS is proposed,whereby the network reliability and experiential learning theory are introduced into the decision process for the travelers’route choice.The intelligent highway serves all the travelers who drive on it,whereas ATIS serves vehicles equipped with information systems.Travelers who drive on intelligent highways or vehicles equipped with ATIS determine their trip routes based on real-time traffic information,whereas other travelers use both the road network conditions from the previous day and historical travel experience to choose a route.Both roadway capacity degradation and travel demand fluctuations are considered to demonstrate the uncertainties in the network.The theory of traffic network flow is developed to build a DTD model considering information from intelligent highway and ATIS.The fixed point theorem is adopted to investigate the equivalence,existence and stability of the proposed DTD model.Numerical examples illustrate that using a high confidence level and weight parameter for the traffic flow reduces the stability of the proposed model.The traffic flow reaches a steady state as travelers’routes shift with repetitive learning of road conditions.The proposed model can be used to formulate scientific traffic organization and diversion schemes during road expansion or reconstruction.

文摘Diesel engines meeting the latest emission regulations must be equipped with exhaust gas aftertreatment system,including diesel oxidation catalysts(DOC),diesel particulate filters(DPF),and selective catalytic reduction(SCR).However,before the final integration of the aftertreatment system(DOC+DPF+SCR)and the diesel engine,a reasonable structural optimization of the catalytic converters and a large number of bench calibration tests must be completed,involving large costs and long development cycles.The design and optimization of the exhaust gas aftertreatment system for a heavy-duty diesel engine was proposed in this paper.Firstly,one-dimensional(1D)and threedimensional(3D)computational models of the exhaust gas aftertreatment system accounting for the structural parameters of the catalytic converters were established.Then based on the calibrated models,the effects of the converter’s structural parameters on their main performance indicators,including the conversion of various exhaust pollutants and the temperatures and pressure drops of the converters,were studied.Finally,the optimal design scheme was obtained.The temperature distribution of the solid substrates and pressure distributions of the catalytic converters were studied based on the 3D model.The method proposed in this paper has guiding significance for the optimization of diesel engine aftertreatment systems.
文摘近年来,综合能源系统作为一种以多种能源形态和设备相互交互的能源系统方案得到了广泛应用和研究.然而,在面对动态复杂的多能源系统时,传统的优化调度方法往往无法满足其实时性和精准度需求.因此,本文设计了一种软深度确定性策略梯度(Soft Deep Deterministic Policy Gradient,Soft-DDPG)算法驱动的综合能源系统优化调度方法,以最小化调度周期内系统总运行成本为目标,建立设备运行综合能效评估模型,再采用Soft-DDPG算法对每个能源设备的能效调度动作进行优化控制.Soft-DDPG算法将softmax算子引入到动作值函数的计算中,有效降低了Q值高估问题.与此同时,该算法在动作选择策略中加入了随机噪声,提高了算法的学习效率.实验结果显示,本文所提出的方法解决了综合能源系统能效调度实时性差、精准度低的瓶颈问题,实现了系统的高效灵活调度,降低了系统的总运行成本.

文摘The control problem of a class of parabolic distributed parameter systems (DPSs) is investigated by using mobile agents with capabilities of sensing and actuating. The guidance strategies of mobile agents based on coverage optimization methods are proposed to improve the control performance of the system and make the state norm of the system converge to zero faster. The coverage optimization problems are constructed based on the measurement of each agent. By solving the coverage optimization problems, the local optimal moving direction of each agent can be obtained. Then the gradient-based agent motion control laws are established. With the indicator function and the surface delta function, this method is generalized to n-dimensional space, and suitable for any sensing region with piecewise smooth boundaries. The stability and control performance of the system are analyzed. Numerical simulations show the effectiveness of the proposed methods.

文摘A single factor design was applied to optimize five factors influencing SRAP system, including Taq DNA polymerase, template DNA concentration, dNTPs, primer and Mg2+, each at four levels. The optimal SRAP-PCR system for Lonicera caerulea L. was 20 ktL SRAP-PCR amplification reaction solution containing 2.0 μL 10×PCR buffer, 1.0 U Taq DNA polymerase, 30 ng template DNA, 0.2 mmol·L-1 dNTPs, 2.0 mmol·L-1 Mg2+ and 0.2μmol·L-1 primer. The suitable amplification procedure consisted of an initial denaturation at 94℃ for 5 min; denaturation at 94℃ for 1 min, annealing at 35℃ for 1 rain, extension at 72℃ for 90 s and in total five cycles; denaturation at 94℃ for 1 min, annealing at 50℃ for 1 min, extension at 72℃ for 90 s and in total 35 cycles; extension at 72℃ for 8 rain; preservation at 4℃. The procedures and systems could meet the demand for SRAP amplification of Lonicera caerulea L. and would play an important role in Lonicera caerulea L. germplasm identification and genetic diversity analysis.

文摘The mixed l1/H2 optimization problem for MIMO (multiple input-multiple output) discrete-time systems is considered. This problem is formulated as minimizing the l1-norm of a closed-loop transfer matrix while maintaining the H2-norm of another closed-loop transfer matrix at prescribed level. The continuity property of the optimal value in respect to changes in the H2-norm constraint is studied. The existence of the optimal solutions of mixed l1/H2 problem is proved. Because the solution of the mixed l1/H2 problem is based on the scaled-Q method, it avoids the zero interpolation difficulties. The convergent upper and lower bounds can be obtained by solving a sequence of finite dimensional nonlinear programming for which many efficient numerical optimization algorithms exist.
文摘To makesystem-of-systems combat simulation models easy to be developed and reused, simulation model formal specification and representation are researched. According to the view of system-of-systems combat simulation, and based on DEVS, the simulation model's fundamental formalisms are explored. It includes entity model, system-of-systems model and experiment model. It also presents rigorous formal specification. XML data exchange standard is combined to design the XML based language, SCSL, to support simulation model representation. The corresponding relationship between SCSL and simulation model formalism is discussed and the syntax and semantics of elements in SCSL are detailed. Based on simulation model formal specification, the abstract simulation algorithm is given and SCSL virtual machine, which is capable of automatically interpreting and executing simulation model represented by SCSL, is designed. Finally an application case is presented, which can show the validation of the theory and verification of SCSL.
文摘Due to the importance and role of systems engineering in space mission developments, optimization of Omid's systems engineering as a milestone to its current and future generations is focused. In this regard systems engineering management organization as the basis of optimization work flow in the conceptual design phase is proposed for improvement. To improve the systems engineering management, an agile enhanced organization chart is developed that defines various system duties. This is a type of concurrent engineering approach that promotes direct communication and data interchange between the team members. Due to the importance of decision making in the conceptual design phase, two design matrices are constructed that portray merits of various design options in terms of improved satellite life as well as specific choices of remote sensing capability for the Omid second generation(Omid-2). Conceptual design optimization is explored considering several structural objectives as well as optimal solar energy absorption utilizing a multiple criteria decision making approach. The Eigenvector method is utilized to formulate the objective function via expert judgment. This approach is robust with respect to designer probable miss-judgment. The optimized version of Omid-2 turned out to be a passive Z-axis spin stabilized satellite made of hexagonal honeycomb configuration with carbon-epoxy side panels and Aluminum bottom plate.
