Because of its nearly constant flight height, the UAV mission planning problem can be treated as a 2-D (horizontal) path arrangement problem. By modeling the antiaircraft threat, the UAV mission planning can be mapped to the traveling seaman problem (TSP). A new algorithm is presented to solve the TSP. The algorithm combines the traditional ant colony system (ACS) with particle swarm optimization (PSO), thus being called the AC-PSO algorithm. It uses one by one tour building strategy like ACS to determine that the target point can be chosen like PSO. Experiments show that AC-PSO synthesizes both ACS and PSO and obtains excellent solution of the UAV mission planning with a higher accuracy.展开更多

Therefore, a novel DMF with a offset-feed bended coupling structure and a stepped-impedance dual- mode resonator is proposed for coupling enhancement and spurious response suppression. Based on the analysis of the change of spur frequencies and the current distribution of spur resonant modes, all spurs near passband of the cascaded DMF can be fully suppressed by optimizing the structure parameters of parasite resonators, which bene- fits from the inherent well-controlled transmission zeros. Experimental results show that the proposed DMF ex- hibits lower insertion loss ,much sharper rate of cutoff and wider spur-free stop band compared with conventional DMF. This design is applicable for spur suppression in wideband communication.展开更多

Rega...Backgrounds: There are many satellite systems acquiring environmental data on the world. Acquired global remote sensing datasets require ground reference data in order to calibrate them and assess their quality. Regarding calibration and validation of these datasets with broad geographical extents, it is essential to register zones which might be considered as Homogeneous Patches (HPs). Such patches enable an optimal calibration of satellite data/sensors, and what is more important is an analysis of components which significantly influence electro-magnetic signals registered by satellite sensors. Methods: We proposed two structurally different methods to identify HPs: predefined thresholding-based one (static one), and statistical thresholding-based technique (dynamic one). In the first method, 3 different thresholds were used: 5%, 10%, and 20%. Next, it was aimed to assess how delineated HPs were spatially matched to satellite data with coarse spatial resolution. Selected cell sizes were 25, 50, 100, 250, and 500 m. The number of particular grid cells which almost entirely fell into registered HPs was counted (leaving 2% cell area tolerance level). This procedure was executed separately for each variant and selected structural variables, as well as for their intersection parts. Results: The results of this investigation revealed that ALS data might have the potential in the identification of HPs of forest stands. We showed that different ALS based variables and thresholds of HPs definition influenced areas which can be treated as similar and homogeneous. We proved that integration of more than one structural variable limits size of the HPs, in contrast, visual interpretation revealed that inside such patches vegetation structure is more constant. Conclusions: We concluded that ALS data can be used as a potential source of data to "enlarge" small ground sample plots and to be used for evaluation and calibration of remotely sensed datasets provided by global systems with coarse spatial resolutions.展开更多

Survivability to this type of threat is a critical factor to consider for land platform design. This paper proposes an original approach to platform survivability assessment using a combination of Agent-Based(AB) simulation and Fault Tree Analysis(FTA) to predict the consequences of IED fragment impacts on the platform operational status. As a demonstration, this approach is applied to the comparison of different platform architectures to gain insight into the optimisation of the platform component topology.展开更多

Zernike polynomials are used to describe the wavefront error of the transmitted distorted beam. The propagation of a laser beam between two telescope apertures is calculated numerically. Far-field wavefront error is estimated with the absolute height of the peak-to-valley phase deviation between the distorted Gaussian beam and a reference distortion-free Gaussian beam. The results show that the pointing jitter is strongly related to the wavefront error. Furthermore, when the jitter decreases 10 times from 100 nrad to 10 nrad, the wavefront error reduces for more than an order of magnitude. In the analysis of multi-parameter minimization, the minimum of wavefront error tends to Z[5,3] Zernike in some parameter ranges. Some Zernikes have a strong correlation with the wavefront error of the received beam. When the aperture diameter increases at Z[5,3] Zernike, the wavefront error is not monotonic and has oscillation.Nevertheless, the wavefront error almost remains constant with the arm length increasing from 10-1Mkm to 10~3Mkm.When the arm length decreases for three orders of magnitude from 10-1Mkm to 10-4Mkm, the wavefront error has only an order of magnitude increasing. In the range of 10-4Mkm to 10~3Mkm, the lowest limit of the wavefront error is from 0.5 fm to 0.015 fm at Z[5,3] Zernike and 10 nrad jitter.展开更多

文摘The microstrip dual-mode filter (DMF) with conventional coupling structure has some limitations in- eluding the port coupling strength limited by fabrication tolerance and the existence of serious second order spuri- ous band. This design is applicable for spur suppression in wideband communication.

文摘Combat effectiveness of unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)formations can be severely affected by the mission execution reliability.During the practical execution phase, there are inevitable risks where UAVs being destroyed or targets failed to be executed. To improve the mission reliability,a resilient mission planning framework integrates task pre-and re-assignment modules is developed in this paper. In the task pre-assignment phase,to guarantee the mission reliability, probability constraints regarding the minimum mission success rate are imposed to establish a multi-objective optimization model. And an improved genetic algorithm with the multi-population mechanism and specifically designed evolutionary operators is used for efficient solution. As in the task-reassignment phase, possible trigger events are first analyzed.A real-time contract net protocol-based algorithm is then proposed to address the corresponding emergency scenario. And the dual objective used in the former phase is adapted into a single objective to keep a consistent combat intention.Three cases of different scales demonstrate that the two modules cooperate well with each other. On the one hand, the pre-assignment module can generate high-reliability mission schedules as an elaborate mathematical model is introduced. On the other hand, the re-assignment module can efficiently respond to various emergencies and adjust the original schedule within a millisecond. The corresponding animation is accessible at bilibili.com/video/BV12t421w7EE for better illustration.

文摘Backgrounds: There are many satellite systems acquiring environmental data on the world. Conclusions: We concluded that ALS data can be used as a potential source of data to "enlarge" small ground sample plots and to be used for evaluation and calibration of remotely sensed datasets provided by global systems with coarse spatial resolutions.

文摘The majority of allied casualties from recent conflicts were caused by blast wave and fragments perforation damage from Improvised Explosive Devices. As a demonstration, this approach is applied to the comparison of different platform architectures to gain insight into the optimisation of the platform component topology.

文摘In space-based gravitational wave detection, the estimation of far-field wavefront error of the distorted beam is the precondition for the noise reduction. In the range of 10-4Mkm to 10~3Mkm, the lowest limit of the wavefront error is from 0.5 fm to 0.015 fm at Z[5,3] Zernike and 10 nrad jitter.
