Installing the splitter plates is a passive aerodynamic solution for eliminating vortex-induced vibration (VIV). However, the influences of splitter plates on the VIV and aerostatic performances are more complicated due to aerodynamic interference between highway and railway decks. To study the effects of splitter plates, wind tunnel experiments for measuring VIV and aerostatic forces of twin decks under two opposite flow directions were conducted, while the surrounding flow and wind pressure of static twin decks with and without splitter plates are numerically simulated. The results showed that the incoming flow direction affects the VIV response and aerostatic coefficients. The highway deck has poor vertical and torsional VIV, and the VIV region and amplitude are different under different directions. While the railway deck only has vertical VIV when located upstream. The splitter plates can impede the process of vortex generation, shedding and impinging at the gap between twin deck, and significantly reducing the surface fluctuating pressure coefficient, thus effectively suppressing the VIV of twin decks. While, the splitter plates hurt the upstream deck regarding static wind stability and have little effect on the downstream deck. The splitter plates of appropriate width are recommended to improve VIV performances in twin parallel bridges. 展开更多

In this work,ultrasonic energy field assistance combined with tempering treatment is proposed to improve the microstructure and mechanical properties of A517Q alloy steel fabricated by laser directed energy deposition(LDED).The effects of ultrasonic vibration(UV)and tempering treatment on microstructure evolution,microhardness distribution and mechanical properties of deposition layer were studied in detail.The microstructure of UV assisted LDED sample after tempering is mainly composed of tempered sorbite(TS).Due to the improvement of microstructure inhomogeneity and grains refinement,UV assisted LDED sample with tempering treatment obtains excellent mechanical properties.The ultimate tensile strength(UTS),yield strength(YS)and elongation after breaking(EL)reach 765 MPa,657 MPa and 19.5%,the increase ratios of UTS and YS are 14.5%and 33.8%while maintaining plasticity compared to original LDED sample,respectively.It is obvious that ultrasonic vibration combined with tempering is a potential and effective method to obtain uniform microstructure and excellent mechanical properties in metal laser directed energy deposition field. 展开更多

Utilizing a new device of vibration liquefaction and by compacting saturated bulk solid, a set of additional device for experiment was designed. These experiments examined the problems related to vibration liquefaction of fine ores and tailings on the basis of DSA 1 type direct shear apparatus, including models of straight tubes, curved tubes and a sandbox. The changing properties of tailings under vibration and the mechanism of vibration liquefaction and compacting of tailings were studied, and future application of the technique to mines has been put forward. 展开更多

The Lorentz force generated by electromagnetic field on the surface of the cylinder in the electrolyte solution may modify the structure of the flow boundary layer effectively. The transient control process of Lorentz force is investigated experimentally for lift amplification and vibration suppression. The experiments are conducted in a rotating annular tank filled with a low-conducting electrolyte. A cylinder with an electro-magnetic actuator is placed into the electrolyte. The lift force of cylinder is measured using the strain gages attached to a fixed beam, and the flow fields are visualized by the dye markers. The results show that the upper vortex on the cylinder is suppressed, and the wake becomes a line and leans to the lower side under the action of upside Lorentz force while the lower vortex on the cylinder is suppressed and limited in a small region. Therefore, the value of lift increases with the variation of flow field. However, the vortexes on the cylinder are suppressed fully under the action of symmetrical Lorentz force which leads to the suppression of lift oscillation and then the vibration of cylinder are suppressed fully. 展开更多

The flow of the weak electrolyte solution can be controlled by Lorentz force achieved with the suitable magnetic and electric fields, and it has the advantages of vortex street suppression, drag reduction, lift enhancement and oscillatory suppression for the flow over a bluff body. The electro-magnetic control of vortex-induced vibration (VIV) of a circular cylinder in the shear flow was investigated numerically in the exponential-polar coordinates attached on the moving cylinder for Re=150. With the effect of background vorticity, the vortex street of VIV cylinder was composed of two parallel rows with an opposite sign of the vortices which inclines toward the lower side and the strength of upper vortex is larger than that of lower vortex. The lift force vibrated periodically with the effect of vortex shedding and the mean value was negative due to the background vorticity. The Lorentz force for controlling the VIV cylinder was classified into the field Lorentz force and the wall Lorentz force. The field Lorentz force suppresses the lift oscillation, and in turn, suppresses the VIV, whereas the wall Lorentz force increases the lift. 展开更多

Regarding flowing granular media as weak transverse isotropic media, the phase velocity expressions of wave P, wave SH and wave SV were deduced, the propagation characteristics of waves in flowing granular media were analyzed. The experiments show that vibration has great influence on granular fluidity. The wavefront of wave P is elliptic or closely elliptic, the wavefront of wave SH is elliptic, and the wavefront of wave SV is not elliptic. Wave propagation in the granular flowing field attenuates layer after layer. The theory and experiment both substantiate that the density difference is the key factor which leads to the attenuation of vibrating energy. In terms of characteristics of wave propagation one can deduce that vibrating waves have less influence on flowability of granules when the amplitude and frequency are small. However, when the amplitude and frequency increase gradually, the eccentricity of ellipsoid, the viscosity resistance and inner friction among granules, and shear intensity of granules decrease, and the loosening coefficient of granules increases, which shows the granules have better flowability. 展开更多

Wind tunnel tests were carried out to investigate the aerodynamic interference between a triple-box girder and trains,involving static aerodynamic forces and vortex-induced vibrations(VIVs).Static and dynamic sectional models of the girder and trains were employed for aerodynamic force measurement and VIV test,respectively.Results indicate that the aerodynamic interference effect on static aerodynamic forces of both the girder and trains is remarkable.When a single train exists,the horizontal position of the train has a small effect on aerodynamic coefficients of the girder.When two trains meet on the girder,the drag coefficient of the girder is significantly reduced compared with that of without train or with a single train;besides,during the whole meeting process,aerodynamic forces of the leeward train first drop and then increase suddenly.The fluctuation of aerodynamic force could cause redundant vibration of the train,which is unfavorable for safety and comfort.A train on the girder could worsen the girder VIV performance:a new vertical VIV appears in the triple-box girder when a train is on the girder,and the torsional VIV amplitude increases significantly when the train is on the windward side. 展开更多

Demand for large vibrating screen is huge in the mineral processing industry. As bending and random vibration are not considered in a traditional design method for beam structures of a large vibrating screen, fatigue damage occurs frequently to affect the screening performance. This work aims to conduct a systematic mechanics analysis of the beam structures and improve the design method. Total motion of a beam structure in screening process can be decomposed into the traditional followed rigid translation(FRT), bending vibration(BV) and axial linear-distributed random rigid translation(ALRRT) excited by the side-plates. When treated as a generalized single-degree-of-freedom(SDOF) elastic system analytically, the BV can be solved by the Rayleigh's method. Stochastic analysis for random process is conducted for the detailed ALRRT calculation. Expressions for the mechanics property, namely, the shearing force and bending-moment with respect to BV and ALRRT, are derived, respectively. Experimental and numerical investigations demonstrate that the largest BV exists at the beam center and can be nearly ignored in comparison with the FRT during a simplified engineering design. With the BV and FRT considered, the mechanics property accords well with the practical situation with the maximum error of 6.33%, which is less than that obtained by traditional method. 展开更多

The micromation and precision of the Micro-Electromechanical System demand that its manufacturing, measuring and assembling must work in a micro-manufacturing platform with good ability to isolate vibrations. This paper develops a vibration isolation system of micro-manufacturing platform. The brains of many kinds of birds can isolate vibrations well, such as woodpecker’s brain. When a woodpecker pecks the wood at the speed as 1.6 times as the velocity of sound, its brain will tolerate the wallop 1 500 times of the weight of itself without any damage. The isolation mechanics and organic texture of woodpecker’s brain that has good isolation characteristics were studied. A structure model of vibration isolation system for the micro-manufacturing platform is established based on the bionics of the bird’s brain vibration isolation mechanism. In order to isolate effectively the high frequency vibrations from the ground, a rubber layer is used to isolate vibrations passively between the micro-manufacturing platform’s pedestal and the ground. This layer corresponds to the cartilage and muscles in the outer meninges of the bird’s brain. The active vibration isolation technique is adopted to isolate vibrations between the micro-manufacturing platform and the pedestal. Air springs are used as elastic components, which correspond to the interspaces between the outer meninges and the encephala of the bird’s brain. Actuators are made of giant magnetostrictive material, and it corresponds to the nerves and neural muscles linking the meninges and the encephala. The actuators and air springs are arranged vertically in parallel to make use of the giant magnetostrictive actuators effectively. The air springs support almost all weight of the micro-manufacturing platform and the giant magnetostrictive actuators support almost no weight. In order to realize high performance to isolate complex micro-vibration, the control method using a three-layer neural network is presented. This vibration control system takes into account the floor disturbance and the direct disturbance acting on the micro-manufacturing platform. The absolute acceleration of the micro-manufacturing platform is used as the performance index of vibration control. The performance of the control system is tested by numerical simulation. Simulation results show that the active vibration isolation system has good isolation performance against the floor disturbance and the direct disturbance acting on the micro-manufacturing platform in all the frequency range. 展开更多

正确认识振冲器的振源特性和碎石桩成桩过程,对揭示振冲碎石桩加固机理有重要意义。由于实际工程中难以观测地基内部的振冲施工过程,开展物理模拟重现该过程并观测振动响应是一种可行的研究手段。从原型振冲器与模型振冲器对地基土体作... 正确认识振冲器的振源特性和碎石桩成桩过程,对揭示振冲碎石桩加固机理有重要意义。由于实际工程中难以观测地基内部的振冲施工过程,开展物理模拟重现该过程并观测振动响应是一种可行的研究手段。从原型振冲器与模型振冲器对地基土体作用荷载相似的角度出发,首先将振冲器圆锥摆运动简化为平面内摆动,通过力矩平衡分析推导了振冲器对周围土体的振动压力表达式;然后基于Buckinghamπ定理,通过量纲分析获得了振动压力相似常数,发现振冲器偏心块质量、偏心距、偏心块转动角速度和重力加速度是关键影响参数;最后通过方程分析法推导了振冲器产生的最大输出机械功率、激振力和激振加速度等振源特性参数的相似常数。据此提出了一种可用于常重力和超重力环境的模型振冲器相似律设计方法,为实现振冲碎石桩施工过程物理模拟提供了科学依据。 展开更多

目的探究机械敏感离子通道Piezo2在模拟直升机低频振动诱导大鼠腰痛和机械性痛觉超敏中的作用和机制。方法采用三维六自由度的低频振动(low-frequency vibration,LFV)诱导坐姿大鼠腰痛模型。将24只8周龄雄性SD大鼠用随机数字表法分为对... 目的探究机械敏感离子通道Piezo2在模拟直升机低频振动诱导大鼠腰痛和机械性痛觉超敏中的作用和机制。方法采用三维六自由度的低频振动(low-frequency vibration,LFV)诱导坐姿大鼠腰痛模型。将24只8周龄雄性SD大鼠用随机数字表法分为对照(Ctrl)组和低频振动(LFV)组。在多裂肌损伤评估基础上,von Frey实验检测疼痛敏感性,旷场实验评估自主活动和焦虑水平,ELISA、Western blot及免疫荧光检测神经生长因子(nerve growth factor,NGF)、TrkA及下游分子Piezo2的表达。原代培养SD大鼠背根神经节(dorsal root ganglia,DRG)神经元,经免疫荧光鉴定后设置Ctrl组、LFV组和LFV+D-G4(D-GsMTx4,Piezo2抑制剂)组,以Western blot检测Piezo2的表达,结合钙离子荧光探针检测细胞内Ca^(2+)水平。使用NGF(50 ng/mL)预处理神经元1 h,设置LFV组、LFV+NGF组和LFV+NGF+D-G4组,利用钙离子荧光探针观察胞内Ca^(2+)变化。结果LFV组大鼠多裂肌形态异常并伴有炎性细胞浸润,行为学结果显示,其缩足反射阈值降低(P<0.05),旷场总活动时间、中心区域活动时间和中心区域路程减少(P<0.05),总静止时间、周围区域静止时间以及周围区域路程增加(P<0.05),DRG组织Piezo2、NGF和TrkA表达增加(P<0.05);细胞实验显示,与Ctrl组相比,LFV组神经元Piezo2表达增加(P<0.05),细胞内Ca^(2+)水平明显升高(P<0.05)。与LFV组相比,LFV+NGF组Ca^(2+)水平升高(P<0.05),使用D-G4后,NGF对Piezo2的敏化作用被逆转(P<0.05)。结论持续低频振动通过NGF-TrkA/Piezo2通路诱导大鼠腰痛和机械性痛觉超敏。 展开更多

针对传统一维轴承振动信号特征表达效果较弱、轴承故障数据时频特征提取困难及其诊断精度较低等问题,提出一种基于小波变换与注意力机制网络(wavelet transform and attention mechanism net,简称WTA-Net)的轻量化轴承故障诊断方法。首... 针对传统一维轴承振动信号特征表达效果较弱、轴承故障数据时频特征提取困难及其诊断精度较低等问题,提出一种基于小波变换与注意力机制网络(wavelet transform and attention mechanism net,简称WTA-Net)的轻量化轴承故障诊断方法。首先,通过小波变换将滚动轴承的一维振动时序信号转化为二维时频图;其次,针对网络训练时梯度消失的问题,提出改进的轻量化骨干网络R-ResNet18提取二维时频图特征;然后,在网络不同尺度的特征层嵌入时空注意力机制(convolutional block attention module,简称CBAM),使网络更加关注二维时频图的关键信息特征;最后,采用标签平滑的交叉熵损失函数来对网络模型进行训练。实验结果表明,所提出方法能够精准地辨识不同故障类型和故障严重程度,在凯斯西储大学轴承数据集10个分类任务中可达到99.9%的分类精度,模型应用在辛辛那提大学智能维护系统(intelligent maintenance systems,简称IMS)轴承数据集上的分类精度达到了99.9%,提取的特征信息区分度高,具有良好的泛化性和鲁棒性。 展开更多

针对一维信号所含信息不全面和DenseNet网络在变工况下存在过拟合等问题,提出了基于连续小波变换时频图像和改进密集连接卷积网络(improved DenseNet,IDenseNet)的滚动轴承故障诊断方法CWT-IDenseNet。首先,将一维振动信号通过CWT转为... 针对一维信号所含信息不全面和DenseNet网络在变工况下存在过拟合等问题,提出了基于连续小波变换时频图像和改进密集连接卷积网络(improved DenseNet,IDenseNet)的滚动轴承故障诊断方法CWT-IDenseNet。首先,将一维振动信号通过CWT转为二维时频图像;其次,对DenseNet网络进行改进,将DenseNet第1个卷积块中的ReLU激活函数替换为Swish激活函数(Swish激活函数更平滑);同时,在网络中引入基于风格的卷积神经网络重校准模块(style-based recalibration module,SRM)和空间与通道注意力机制模块(convolutional block attention module,CBAM),SRM关注特征通道权重,CBAM则从通道和空间2个维度增强特征表达能力,进而得到IDenseNet;最后,将二维时频图像输入到IDenseNet模型中进行特征提取和故障诊断,通过模型的Softmax层输出故障诊断结果。结果表明,所提方法在恒定工况及变工况下的平均故障识别准确率均达到97.80%,且在迁移学习模型中,平均故障识别准确率达到了99.44%。CWT-IDenseNet方法可以有效提高模型的泛化能力,在恒定工况及变工况下具有显著优势,对提高滚动轴承故障诊断的准确率和可靠性具有参考价值。 展开更多

风电机组参与一次调频期间会产生附加机械载荷,影响机组安全稳定运行。为明确风电机组参与一次调频对机械载荷的影响机制,建立了含综合惯量控制的风电机组机械结构动力学模型,分析了综合惯量控制对叶片、塔架及传动轴系载荷的影响。针... 风电机组参与一次调频期间会产生附加机械载荷,影响机组安全稳定运行。为明确风电机组参与一次调频对机械载荷的影响机制,建立了含综合惯量控制的风电机组机械结构动力学模型,分析了综合惯量控制对叶片、塔架及传动轴系载荷的影响。针对风电机组参与一次调频会激发传动轴扭振和塔架侧向振动的问题,首先,在综合惯量控制的基础上,提出了根据风电机组转速和频率变化动态调节虚拟惯量系数和下垂系数的方法,提升风电机组的调频性能。其次,提出了基于转矩补偿的扭振抑制策略,提高轴系的等效阻尼和等效刚度。搭建了基于Open FAST和Matlab的风电机组机电耦合仿真模型。仿真结果表明,所提策略提升风电机组频率支撑能力的同时,减小了调频过程中传动轴和塔架的附加机械载荷。 展开更多

通过搭建的机械振动台对A357铝合金的铸造凝固过程施加了机械振动,机械振动频率范围为1000~4000 Hz,振幅为10μm。通过观察在不同机械振动条件下制备的试样金相显微组织、扫描电镜图像,分析其组织与性能的差异。结果表明,机械振动能有... 通过搭建的机械振动台对A357铝合金的铸造凝固过程施加了机械振动,机械振动频率范围为1000~4000 Hz,振幅为10μm。通过观察在不同机械振动条件下制备的试样金相显微组织、扫描电镜图像,分析其组织与性能的差异。结果表明,机械振动能有效地改善A357铸件的微观结构。随着机械振动频率的升高,凝固组织的晶粒尺寸更加均匀和细小,晶粒中的共晶硅逐渐由针状变为纤维状。A357合金的力学性能随着机械振动频率的增加而逐渐提高。在机械振动条件下A357合金的断裂模式为混合型,在断口表面同时出现韧窝及解理台阶。随着机械振动频率的升高,断口表面呈现出韧窝数量逐渐增加,表明合金的韧性随之增强。A357合金在1000、2000、3000和4000 Hz这4种机械振动频率条件下,抗拉强度分别为275.4、281.3、292.7和311.3 MPa,屈服强度分别为235.6、241.1、249.7和264.6 MPa,伸长率分别为2.57%、2.73%、3.37%和4.10%。 展开更多

矿震是地下煤层开采中较常见的动力学现象,揭示矿震的力学原理是其灾害评价、预测及防治的前提和基础,采用理论分析方法,探讨了矿震的力学原理与主控因子,研究了矿震中覆岩的下沉-振动响应特征,及其作用下覆岩应变能、重力势能和动能的... 矿震是地下煤层开采中较常见的动力学现象,揭示矿震的力学原理是其灾害评价、预测及防治的前提和基础,采用理论分析方法,探讨了矿震的力学原理与主控因子,研究了矿震中覆岩的下沉-振动响应特征,及其作用下覆岩应变能、重力势能和动能的演变机理。结果显示:在结构动力学视角下,矿震是一类典型的自由振动,由坚硬岩层破断等采场煤岩结构子系统的瞬时失稳触发,由采场煤岩结构瞬变后的初始状态驱动,不需要外部能量的输入,耗散采场煤岩自身的势能(重力势能+应变能),受控于采场煤岩结构的力学性能与力学环境及其对应的瞬变特征。对于结构瞬变区域上方的覆岩,受坚硬岩层破断影响,覆岩载荷转递路径发生改变,采空区上方关键层上、下表面的承载量瞬时减小,采空区外侧关键层上表面的承载量瞬时增大。受此影响,关键层及其上覆岩层下沉-振动,其任意时刻的速度、位移和弯曲应变能线密度等响应特征均呈现出波动特性,且都以震源为中心迅速衰减。并且,在任意振动周期内,除了有能量的耗散外,亦存在不同能量间的相互转换;在第1个1/4周期内,重力势能向动能和应变能转换;在第2个1/4周期内,重力势能和动能向应变能转换;在第3个1/4周期内,应变能向重力势能和动能转换;在第4个1/4周期内,动能和应变能向重力势能转换。基于上述的理念,可以更直观地理解矿震中采场空间不同区域煤岩力学响应的发生机理及其内在关联等,为煤岩动力灾害的防控提供了新思路和新视角。 展开更多
