Fault prediction technology of running state of electromechanical systems is one of the key technologies that ensure safe and reliable operation of electromechanical equipment in health state. For multiple types of modern, high-end and key electromechanical equipment, this paper will describe the early faults prediction method for multi-type electromechanical systems, which is favorable for predicting early faults of complex electromechanical systems in non-stationary, nonlinear, variable working conditions and long-time running state; the paper shall introduce the reconfigurable integration technology of series safety monitoring systems based on which the integrated development platform of series safety monitoring systems is built. This platform can adapt to integrated R&D of series safety monitoring systems characterized by high technology, multiple species and low volume. With the help of this platform, series safety monitoring systems were developed, and the Remote Network Security Monitoring Center for Facility Groups was built. Experimental research and engineering applications show that: this new fault prediction method has realized the development trend features extraction of typical electromechanical systems, multi-information fusion, intelligent information decision-making and so on, improving the processing accuracy, relevance and applicability of information; new reconfigurable integration technologies have improved the integration level and R&D efficiency of series safety monitoring systems as well as expanded the scope of application; the series safety monitoring systems developed based on reconfigurable integration platform has already played an important role in many aspects including ensuring safety operation of equipment, stabilizing product quality, optimizing running state, saving energy consumption, reducing environmental pollution, improving working conditions, carrying out scientific maintenance, advancing equipment utilization, saving maintenance charge and enhancing the level of information management. 展开更多

Various application domains require the integration of distributed real-time or near-real-time systems with non-real-time systems.Smart cities,smart homes,ambient intelligent systems,or network-centric defense systems are among these application domains.Data Distribution Service(DDS)is a communication mechanism based on Data-Centric Publish-Subscribe(DCPS)model.It is used for distributed systems with real-time operational constraints.Java Message Service(JMS)is a messaging standard for enterprise systems using Service Oriented Architecture(SOA)for non-real-time operations.JMS allows Java programs to exchange messages in a loosely coupled fashion.JMS also supports sending and receiving messages using a messaging queue and a publish-subscribe interface.In this article,we propose an architecture enabling the automated integration of distributed real-time and non-real-time systems.We test our proposed architecture using a distributed Command,Control,Communications,Computers,and Intelligence(C4I)system.The system has DDS-based real-time Combat Management System components deployed to naval warships,and SOA-based non-real-time Command and Control components used at headquarters.The proposed solution enables the exchange of data between these two systems efficiently.We compare the proposed solution with a similar study.Our solution is superior in terms of automation support,ease of implementation,scalability,and performance. 展开更多

The ER-based approach is proposed to synthesize inadequate input information and an integration-centric perspective is applied to reduce the computational complexity. Two case studies are performed to validate the efficiency of the proposed approach. And these studies are also performed to study how the inadequate information will affect the assessment result. And the differences caused by the system's structure. [Objective]Under the combined impact of climate change and urbanization,urban rainstorm flood disasters occur frequently,seriously restricting urban safety and sustainable development.Relying on traditional grey infrastructure such as pipe networks for urban stormwater management is not enough to deal with urban rainstorm flood disasters under extreme rainfall events.The integration of green,grey and blue systems(GGB-integrated system)is gradually gaining recognition in the field of global flood prevention.It is necessary to further clarify the connotation,technical and engineering implementation strategies of the GGB-integrated system,to provide support for the resilient city construction.[Methods]Through literature retrieval and analysis,the relevant research and progress related to the layout optimization and joint scheduling optimization of the GGBintegrated system were systematically reviewed.In response to existing limitations and future engineering application requirements,key supporting technologies including the utilization of overground emergency storage spaces,safety protection of underground important infrastructure and multi-departmental collaboration,were proposed.A layout optimization framework and a joint scheduling framework for the GGB-integrated system were also developed.[Results]Current research on layout optimization predominantly focuses on the integration of green system and grey system,with relatively fewer studies incorporating blue system infrastructure into the optimization process.Moreover,these studies tend to be on a smaller scale with simpler scenarios,which do not fully capture the complexity of real-world systems.Additionally,optimization objective tend to prioritize environmental and economic goals,while social and ecological factors are less frequently considered.Current research on joint scheduling optimization is often limited to small-scale plots,with insufficient attention paid to the entire system.There is a deficiency in method for real-time,automated determination of optimal control strategies for combinations of multiple system facilities based on actual rainfall-runoff processes.Additionally,the application of emergency facilities during extreme conditions is not sufficiently addressed.Furthermore,both layout optimization and joint scheduling optimization lack consideration of the mute feed effect of flood and waterlogging in urban,watershed and regional scales.[Conclusion]Future research needs to improve the theoretical framework for layout optimization and joint scheduling optimization of GGB-integrated system.Through the comprehensive application of the Internet of things,artificial intelligence,coupling model development,multi-scale analysis,multi-scenario simulation,and the establishment of multi-departmental collaboration mechanisms,it can enhance the flood resilience of urban areas in response to rainfall events of varying intensities,particularly extreme rainfall events. 展开更多

Recently,unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)-aided free-space optical(FSO)communication has attracted widespread attentions.However,most of the existing research focuses on communication performance only.The authors investigate the integrated scheduling of communication,sensing,and control for UAV-aided FSO communication systems.Initially,a sensing-control model is established via the control theory.Moreover,an FSO communication channel model is established by considering the effects of atmospheric loss,atmospheric turbulence,geometrical loss,and angle-of-arrival fluctuation.Then,the relationship between the motion control of the UAV and radial displacement is obtained to link the control aspect and communication aspect.Assuming that the base station has instantaneous channel state information(CSI)or statistical CSI,the thresholds of the sensing-control pattern activation are designed,respectively.Finally,an integrated scheduling scheme for performing communication,sensing,and control is proposed.Numerical results indicate that,compared with conventional time-triggered scheme,the proposed integrated scheduling scheme obtains comparable communication and control performance,but reduces the sensing consumed power by 52.46%. 展开更多

The electricity-hydrogen integrated energy system(EH-IES)enables synergistic operation of electricity,heat,and hydrogen subsystems,supporting renewable energy integration and efficient multi-energy utilization in future low carbon societies.However,uncertainties from renewable energy and load variability threaten system safety and economy.Conventional chance-constrained programming(CCP)ensures reliable operation by limiting risk.However,increasing source-load uncertainties that can render CCP models infeasible and exacerbate operational risks.To address this,this paper proposes a risk-adjustable chance-constrained goal programming(RACCGP)model,integrating CCP and goal programming to balance risk and cost based on system risk assessment.An intelligent nonlinear goal programming method based on the state transition algorithm(STA)is developed,along with an improved discretized step transformation,to handle model nonlinearity and enhance computational efficiency.Experimental results show that the proposed model reduces costs while controlling risk compared to traditional CCP,and the solution method outperforms average sample sampling in efficiency and solution quality. 展开更多

The traversal search of multi-dimensional parameter during the process of hypersonic target echo signal coherent integration,leads to the problem of large amounts of calculation and poor real-time performance.In view of these problems,a modified polynomial Radon-polynomial Fourier transform(MPRPFT)hypersonic target coherent integration detection algorithm based on Doppler feedback is proposed in this paper.Firstly,the Doppler estimation value of the target is obtained by using the target point information obtained by subsequent non-coherent integration detection.Then,the feedback adjustment of the coherent integration process is performed by using the acquired target Doppler estimation value.Finally,the coherent integration is completed after adjusting the search interval of compensation.The simulation results show that the algorithm can effectively reduce the computational complexity and improve the real-time performance on the basis of the effective coherent integration of hypersonic target echo signals. 展开更多

A marine INS/GPS adaptive navigation system is presented. GPS with two antenna providing vessel' s altitude is selected as the auxiliary system fusing with INS to improve the performance of the hybrid system. The Kalman filter is the most frequently used algorithm in the integrated navigation system, which is capable of estimating INS errors online based on the measured errors between INS and GPS. The standard Kalman filter (SKF) assumes that the statistics of the noise on each sensor are given. As long as the noise distributions do not change, the Kalman filter will give the optimal estimation. However GPS receiver will be disturbed easily and thus temporally changing measurement noise will join into the outputs of GPS, which will lead to performance degradation of the Kalman filter. Many researchers introduce fuzzy logic control method into innovation-based adaptive estimation adaptive Kalman filtering (IAE-AKF) algorithm, and accordingly propose various adaptive Kalman filters. However how to design the fuzzy logic controller is a very complicated problem still without a convincing solution. A novel IAE-AKF is proposed herein, which is based on the maximum likelihood criterion for the proper computation of the filter innovation covariance and hence of the filter gain. The approach is direct and simple without having to establish fuzzy inference rules. After having deduced the proposed IAEAKF algorithm theoretically in detail, the approach is tested by the simulation based on the system error model of the developed INS/GPS integrated marine navigation system. Simulation results show that the adaptive Kalman filter outperforms the SKF with higher accuracy, robustness and less computation. It is demonstra- ted that this proposed approach is a valid solution for the unknown changing measurement noise exited in the Kalman filter. 展开更多

Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) waveform enables radar and communication functions simultaneously, which encounters low angle resolution and poor data rate for traditional single input single output (SISO) systems. To solve these problems, an integrated radar and communication system (IRCS) with multiple input multiple output (MIMO) OFDM waveform is proposed. The different limitations of radar and communication in designing such a system are investigated. Then, an optimization problem is devised to obtain suitable system parameters, including the number of subcarriers, subcarrier spacing, number of symbols, pulse repetition frequency (PRF) and length of cyclic prefix (CP). Finally, to satisfy the requirements of both radar and communication, the IRCS parameters are derived in three typical cases. Several numerical results are presented to illustrate the demands of radar and communication, inconsistent or consistent, for the IRCS parameters and the superiority of the proposed system. 展开更多

The integration method of exploding foil initiator system(EFIs) used to be researched to broaden its application range in military and aerospace in the last few decades.In order to lower the firing voltage below 1 kV,an integrated EFIs with enhanced energy efficiency was designed.Corresponding exploding foil initiator chips were fabricated in batch via micro electromechanical systems technology by integrating a unified foil,a flyer layer and a barrel on a glass substrate successively,meanwhile its package of the whole system was proposed at a volume of 2.194 cm^(3).The structural parameters were determined by predicted performance including flyer velocity,impact behavior and conduction property via the proposed theoretical models and the static electric field simulation.As expect,this integrated EFIs exhibited excellent functions,which could accelerate the flyer to a terminal velocity over 4 km/s and preeminently initiate HNS-IV pellet at a circuit of 0.24 μF/0.9 kV.Furthermore,the theoretical design,fabrication and performance test have been all included to validate the feasibility of this integrated EFIs that was beneficial for its commercial development in the future. 展开更多

One of the most effective ways to reduce the negative effect of delays on the performance of networked control system (NCS) is to reduce network traffic. In this paper, adjustable deadbands are explored as a solution to reduce network traffic in NCS. A method of fault-tolerant control of networked control system is presented, which takes into account system response as well as network traffic. The integrity design for a kind of NCS with sensor failures and actuator failures is analyzed based on robust fault-tolerant control theory and information scheduling. To solve the problem of information fusion in the strapdown inertial navigation system(SINS)/celestial navigation system(CNS)/global positioning system(GPS) integrated navigation system described by the nonlinear/non-Gaussian error models,a new algorithm called the federated unscented particle filtering(FUPF) algorithm was introduced.In this algorithm,the unscented particle filter(UPF) served as the local filter,the federated filter was used to fuse outputs of all local filters,and the global filter result was obtained.Because the algorithm was not confined to the assumption of Gaussian noise,it was of great significance to integrated navigation systems described by the non-Gaussian noise.The proposed algorithm was tested in a vehicle's maneuvering trajectory,which included six flight phases:climbing,level flight,left turning,level flight,right turning and level flight.Simulation results are presented to demonstrate the improved performance of the FUPF over conventional federated unscented Kalman filter(FUKF).For instance,the mean of position-error decreases from(0.640×10-6 rad,0.667×10-6 rad,4.25 m) of FUKF to(0.403×10-6 rad,0.251×10-6 rad,1.36 m) of FUPF.In comparison of the FUKF,the FUPF performs more accurate in the SINS/CNS/GPS system described by the nonlinear/non-Gaussian error models. 展开更多

Continuous coverage from close-in "pop-up" targets in clutter to long-range targets impacts selection of waveform parameters. The coherent processing interval (CPI) must be long enough to achieve a certain signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) that ensures the efficiency of detection. The condition of detection in the case of low SNR is analyzed, and three different cases that would occur during integration are discussed and a method to determine the CPI is presented. The simulation results show that targets detection with SNR as low as -26 dB in the experimental system can possibly determine the CPI. 展开更多

The advanced techniques applied in the mature exploration environment should aim at the speciality and complexity of the geological setting and working environments. The information synthesis is to integrate multiple sets of data for giving a more credible and visual prospectivity map by using the geographic imformation system(GIS) and several mathematical methods, such as weight of evidence and fuzzy logic, which can extract useful information from every set of data as much as possible. Guided by these strategies, a predictive exploration in Fenghuangshan ore field of Tongling copper district was implemented, and a hidden ore deposit was discovered. 展开更多

The path-following control of the asymmetry underactuated unmanned surface vehicle(USV) under external disturbances such as unknown constant and irrational ocean currents is discussed, and an adaptive sliding-mode path-following control system is proposed, which comprises a path-variable updated law,a modified integral line-of-sight(ILOS) guidance law based on a time-varying lookahead distance and adaptive feedback linearizing controllers combined with sliding-mode technique. A more accurate USV model without the assumption of having diagonal inertia and damping matrices is first presented, aiming at improving the performance of the path-following control. Next, the coordinate transformation is adopted to decouple the sway dynamic from the rudder angle, and the path-following errors dynamics without non-singular problem are presented in the moving Frenet-Serret frame. Then, based on the cascaded theorem and the adaptive sliding-mode method, the adaptive control law of position errors and course error are designed, among which the lookahead distance and integral gain are all computed as different functions of cross-track error to estimate and compensate the sideslip angle caused by external disturbances adaptively. Finally, according to the Lyapunov and cascaded theorem, the control system proposed is proved to be uniform globally asymptotic stability(UGAS) and uniform semiglobal exponential stability(USGES) when the control objectives are all achieved. Leveler is widely used to improve the quality of defective mild steel plates.Its typical ranges of the leveling capacity are constrained by three criteria,namely the maximum stroke of rollers,allowable total leveling force and motor power.In this work,an optimization model with equality and inequality constraints was built for the maximum yield stress search of each thickness of plates.The corresponding search procedure with three loops was given.The approximate range by the simplification model could be used as the initial value for the actual range search of the leveling capacity.Therefore,the search speed could be accelerated compared with a global search.The consistency of the analytical results and field data demonstrates the reliability of the proposed model and procedure.The typical ranges of the leveling capacity are expressed by several boundary curves which are helpful to judge whether the incoming plate can be leveled quickly or not.Also,these curves can be used to find the maximum yield stress for a specific thickness or the maximum thickness for a yield stress for plates. 展开更多

Recently the integrated modular avionics (IMA) architecture which introduces the concept of resource partitioning becomes popular as an alternative to the traditional federated architecture. A novel hierarchical approach is proposed to solve the resource allocation problem for IMA systems in distributed environments. Firstly, the worst case response time of tasks with arbitrary deadlines is analyzed for the two-level scheduler. Then, the hierarchical resource allocation approach is presented in two levels. At the platform level, a task assignment algorithm based on genetic simulated annealing (GSA) is proposed to assign a set of pre-defined tasks to different processing nodes in the form of task groups, so that resources can be allocated as partitions and mapped to task groups. While yielding to all the resource con- straints, the algorithm tries to find an optimal task assignment with minimized communication costs and balanced work load. At the node level, partition parameters are optimized, so that the computational resource can be allocated further. An example is shown to illustrate the hierarchal resource allocation approach and manifest the validity. Simulation results comparing the performance of the proposed GSA with that of traditional genetic algorithms are presented in the context of task assignment in IMA systems. 展开更多
