Influenced by traditional methods in the landscape architecture,the studies in landscape architecture science of China are fundamentally subjective and qualitative,and aim at aesthetic elements.The quantitative method...Influenced by traditional methods in the landscape architecture,the studies in landscape architecture science of China are fundamentally subjective and qualitative,and aim at aesthetic elements.The quantitative methods are commonly used in the physicism domain,and there is a great potential for the application of quantitative methods to landscape architecture science.The paper summarized the progress in the application of quantitative methods to landscape architecture science in China,in which the evaluation of eco-effect,sightseeing effect,result of disposing,economic benefit,engineering quality,greenbelts landscape,landscape patterns and usage of greenbelts,etc.were involved.It proves that quantitative methods have aroused general concern and have been well applied in certain fields and there are still some shortcomings in the researches to be improved.Finally,the important directions of Chinese landscape architecture science are proposed.展开更多

Optimum methods are usually a pplied on grinding process for higher productivity and preferable grinding quali ty. But the grinding quality can’t be reliably controlled now and then while opt imal solution of grinding processing parameters have been applied in production, because of two involved aspects which are availability of established empirical formulas and reliability of setting up optimum mathematical model. That is to s ay, there is particular application of optimum methods in grinding process. This paper discussed that how to confirm conditions of grinding test which be po int to grinding peculiarity when test design and regression analysis are used to setting up some empirical formulas. In order to reduce effect of random errors on precision of the empirical formulas and enable them to be applied widely, a m ethod that a lot of random error can be sufficiently contained in grinding test was suggested. And then, A means to ameliorate restriction formulas of grinding quality is expounded based on marked level of the empirical formulas and improve d reliability of optimum mathematical model is given, which offer an effectual w ay for solving grinding quality out of control as a result of random error and w orkable optimal solution of grinding processing parameters can be applied in the production really. An effective hybrid optimization method is proposed by integrating an adaptive Kriging(A-Kriging)into an improved partial swarm optimization algorithm(IPSO)to give a so-called A-Kriging-IPSO for maximizing the bucklin...An effective hybrid optimization method is proposed by integrating an adaptive Kriging(A-Kriging)into an improved partial swarm optimization algorithm(IPSO)to give a so-called A-Kriging-IPSO for maximizing the buckling load of laminated composite plates(LCPs)under uniaxial and biaxial compressions.In this method,a novel iterative adaptive Kriging model,which is structured using two training sample sets as active and adaptive points,is utilized to directly predict the buckling load of the LCPs and to improve the efficiency of the optimization process.The active points are selected from the initial data set while the adaptive points are generated using the radial random-based convex samples.The cell-based smoothed discrete shear gap method(CS-DSG3)is employed to analyze the buckling behavior of the LCPs to provide the response of adaptive and input data sets.The buckling load of the LCPs is maximized by utilizing the IPSO algorithm.To demonstrate the efficiency and accuracy of the proposed methodology,the LCPs with different layers(2,3,4,and 10 layers),boundary conditions,aspect ratios and load patterns(biaxial and uniaxial loads)are investigated.The results obtained by proposed method are in good agreement with the literature results,but with less computational burden.By applying adaptive radial Kriging model,the accurate optimal resultsebased predictions of the buckling load are obtained for the studied LCPs.展开更多

The results show that both the absolute value of the molar enthalpy change and the internal resistance of evolution hydrogen reaction are less than that of absorption hydrogen reaction at the same state of charge. The molar reaction enthalpy change of absorption and evolution of hydride electrode change contrarily with the enhancement of filling degree of hydrogen in hydride electrode. The relation curve of molar reaction enthslpy change to state of charge, both absorption and evolution hydrogen reaction, is close to a constant when the state of charge is 10%- 60%, and during state of charge below 10% or state of charge above 60%, the molar reaction enthalpy change varies sharply. Meanwhile, the internal resistance of electrode reaction has an ascending trend with the enhancement on filling degree of hydrogen in hydride electrode in both absorption and evolution hydrogen reaction.展开更多
Based on the slice method of the non-circular slip surface for the calculation of integral stability of slope, an improved genetic algorithm was proposed, which can freely search for the most dangerous slip surface of...Based on the slice method of the non-circular slip surface for the calculation of integral stability of slope, an improved genetic algorithm was proposed, which can freely search for the most dangerous slip surface of slope and the corresponding minimum safety factor without supposing the geometric shape of the most dangerous slip surface. This improved genetic algorithm can simulate the genetic evolution process of organisms and avoid the local minimum value compared with the classical methods. The results of engineering cases show that it is a global optimal algorithm and has many advantages, such as higher efficiency and shorter time than the simple genetic algorithm.展开更多
