Although it is known that vibrations in BGBs caused by moving trains can be reduced by installing multiple tuned mass dampers(MTMDs) on the top plate, there is limited research on the noise reduction achieved by this method. This study aims to investigate the noise reduction mechanism of BGBs installed with MTMDs on the top plate. A sound radiation prediction model for the BGB installed with MTMDs is developed, based on the vehicle–track–bridge coupled dynamics and acoustics boundary element method. After being verified by field tested results, the prediction model is employed to study the reduction of vibration and noise of BGBs caused by the MTMDs. It is found that installing MTMDs on top plate can significantly affect the vibration distribution and sound radiation law of BGBs. However, its impact on the sound radiation caused by vibrations dominated by the global modes of BGBs is minimal. The noise reduction achieved by MTMDs is mainly through changing the acoustic radiation contributions of each plate of the bridge. In the lower frequency range, the noise reduction of BGB caused by MTMDs can be more effective if the installation of MTMDs can modify the vibration frequency and distribution of the BGB to avoid the influence of small vibrations and disperse the sound radiation from each plate.展开更多

By building a cooperative antenna system; an algorithm of joint channel estimation and Doppler frequency offset (DFO) estimation is proposed based on Ricean channel model. First, a maximum likelihood estimation (MLE) algorithm for DFO is designed, show- ing that the Doppler estimation can be obtained by estimating moving velocity of the train and the path loss with the exploitation of pilots that are placed inside the frame. Then a joint detection algorithm for the receiver is proposed to exploit multi-antenna diversity gains. Last, the theoretical Crammer Rao bound (CRB) for joint channel estimation and DFO estimation is derived. The steady performance of the system is confirmed by numerical simulations. In particular, when the Ricean fading channel parameter equals 5 and the velocities of train are 100 m/s and 150 m/s, the estimation variances of DFO are very close to the theoretical results obtained by using CRB. Meanwhile, the corresponding sig- nal to noise ratio loss is less than 1.5 dB when the bit error rate is 10-5 for 16QAM signals.展开更多

The bad state of catenary is able to directly influence the power supply safety of traction power system. In this paper, four aspects on the catenary research of high-speed railway are reviewed in detail, namely the solution methods for catenary equilibrium state, the dynamic modeling methods of catenary, the non-contact detection methods of catenary, and the static and dynamic evaluation methods of catenary. In addition, their recent advances are described. For the low solution accuracy of the initial equilibrium state of cate- nary, the structure finding method with multi-objective constraint and nonlinear finite element procedure are introduced to solve the problem. For the catenary's dynamic modeling, considering the influence of environmental wind on the catenary, environmental wind simula- tions and wind tunnel tests are used to obtain the aerodynamic coefficients and build the wind field along the catenary for analysis of its wind vibration characteristics. In order to improve the detection accuracy of non-contact detection for the catenary, the deep learning theory and real-time detection algorithms should be adopted in the future. In view of the lack of dynamic assessment method for the catenary, the modern spectrum evaluation, timefrequency analysis, big data technology and their combi- nations will be the important means for future catenary evaluation.展开更多

Then, the statistical results of LSPs, including shadow fading, K-factor, and root-mean-square delay spread are derived and the cross-correlation coefficients of these LPSs are calculated. Moreover, the SSF spatial correlation and cross-correlation of SSF are analyzed. These results can be used to exploit multi-link channel model and to optimize the next-generation HSR communication system.展开更多

文摘As the unique power entrance, the pantograph-catenary electrical contact system maintains the efficiency and reliability of power transmission for the high-speed train.Along with the fast development of high-speed railways all over the world, some commercialized lines are built for covering the remote places under harsh environment, especially in China;these environmental elements including wind, sand, rain, thunder, ice and snow need to be considered during the design of the pantograph-catenary system. The pantograph-catenary system includes the pantograph, the contact wire and the interface—pantograph slide. As the key component, this pantograph slide plays a critical role in reliable power transmission under dynamic condition. The fundamental material characteristics of the pantograph slide and contact wire such as electrical conductivity, impact resistance, wear resistance, etc.,directly determine the sliding electrical contact performance of the pantograph-catenary system;meanwhile, different detection methods of the pantograph-catenary system are crucial for the reliability of service and maintenance. In addition, the challenges brought from extreme operational conditions are discussed, taking the Sichuan-Tibet Railway currently under construction as a special example with the high-altitude climate. The outlook for developing the ultra-high-speed train equipped with the novel pantograph-catenary system which can address the harsher operational environment is also involved. This paper has provided a comprehensive review of the high-speed railway pantograph-catenary systems, including its progress, challenges, outlooks in the history and future.

文摘Wireless communication for high-speed railways (HSRs) that provides reliable and high data rate communi- cation between the train and trackside networks is a challenging task. It is estimated that the wireless communication traffic could be as high as 65 Mbps per high-speed train. The development of such HSR communications systems and standards requires, in turn, accurate models for the HSR propagation channel. This article provides an overview of ex- isting HSR channel measurement campaigns in recent years. Particularly, some important measurement and modeling results in various HSR scenarios, such as viaduct and U-shaped groove (USG), are briefly described and analyzed. In addition, we review a novel channel sounding method, which can highly improve the measurement efficiency in HSR environment.

文摘The challenges of severe Doppler effects in high-speed railway are considered. Meanwhile, the corresponding sig- nal to noise ratio loss is less than 1.5 dB when the bit error rate is 10-5 for 16QAM signals.

文摘The interaction between the catenary and pantograph is one of the most crucial factors that determine the train operation in high-speed railway. In view of the lack of dynamic assessment method for the catenary, the modern spectrum evaluation, timefrequency analysis, big data technology and their combi- nations will be the important means for future catenary evaluation.

文摘To simulate the fatigue characteristics of the pile-board structure under long-term dynamic load, using the in-situ dynamic testing system DTS-1, the forced vibration loading was repeated one million times at different cross-sections of the pile-board structure for high-speed railway. The dynamic deformation, permanent deformation and dynamic stress of main reinforcements were measured. The test results show that the dynamic responses of the pile-board structure almost did not vary with the forced vibration times under the simulated trainload. After one million times of forced vibration, the permanent deformations of the midspan section of intermediate span and midspan section of side span were 0.7 mm and 0. 6 mm, respectively, and there was no accumulative plastic deformation at the bearing section of intermediate span.

文摘In order to obtain accurate characteristics of wireless channels in the viaduct area of China, a channel meas- urement was taken in a railway viaduct scenario of the Zhengzhou-Xi'an passenger dedicated line with a bandwidth of 50 MHz at 2.35 GHz. The single-slope log-distance model is used to analyze the path-loss (PL), and the distribution of shadow fading (SF) is obtained by statistical methods, which shows that the normal distribution fits the samples well. Ricean K-factor is analyzed by the method of moments, and the variation of K-factor is given along the measured route. Small scale such as delay spread and Doppler behavior are parameterized. Based on empirical channel measurement, this paper provides parameters for the evaluation and simulation work on viaduct scenarios of high-speed railway.
文摘Based on the construction of high risk tunnels in Guiguang-Guangzhou high-speed railway, several new technologies were developed for high-risk tunnel con- struction. First, an integrated advanced geological predic- tion was developed for tunneling in karst area. Then, a new system of ventilation by involving the dedusting technol- ogy was proposed and used in the field, which received a good air quality. Finally, a method to minimize the dis- tance between the working face and the invert installation was proposed by optimizing the invert installation and adopting the micro bench method. Applying the method to the project obtained an excellent result. The achievement obtained for this study would be able to provide a valuable reference to similar projects in the future.

文摘Motivated by the huge practical engineering demand for the fundamental understanding of mechanical characteristics of high-speed railway infrastructure,a fullscale multi-functional test platform for high-speed railway track–subgrade system is developed in this paper, and its main functions for investigating the mechanical performance of track–subgrade systems are elaborated with three typical experimental examples.Comprising the full-scale subgrade structure and all the five types of track structures adopted in Chinese high-speed railways, namely the CRTS I,the CRTS II and the CRTS III ballastless tracks, the double-block ballastless track and the ballasted track, the test platform is established strictly according to the construction standard of Chinese high-speed railways.Three kinds of effective loading methods are employed, including the real bogie loading,multi-point loading and the impact loading.Various types of sensors are adopted in different components of the five types of track–subgrade systems to measure the displacement, acceleration, pressure, structural strain and deformation, etc.Utilizing this test platform, both dynamic characteristics and long-term performance evolution of high-speed railway track–subgrade systems can be investigated, being able to satisfy the actual demand for large-scale operation of Chinese high-speed railways. As examples, three typical experimental studies are presented to elucidate the comprehensive functionalities of the full-scale multi-functional test platform for exploring the dynamic performance and its long-term evolution of ballastless track systems and for studying the long-term accumulative settlement of the ballasted track–subgrade system in high-speed railways. Some interesting phenomena and meaningful results are captured by the developed test platform, which provide a useful guidance for the scientific operation and maintenance of high-speed railway infrastructure.

文摘With the fast development of highspeed railways,a call for fulfilling the notion of communication at "anytime, anywhere" for high-speed train passengers in the Train Operating Control System is on the way.In order to make a realization of that, new railway wireless communication networks are needed. The most promising one is the Long Term Evolution for Railway which will provide broadband access, fast handover, and reliable communication for high mobility users. However, with the increase of speed, the system is subjected to high bit error rate,Doppler frequency shift and handover failure just like other system does. This paper is trying to solve these problems by employing MIMO technique.Specifically, the goal is to provide higher data rate, higher reliability, less delay, and other relative quality of services for passengers.MIMO performance analysis, resource allocation, and access control for handover and various services in a two-hop model are proposed in this paper.Analytical results and simulation results show that the proposed model and schemes perform well in improving the system performances.

文摘This paper investigates the cross-correlation characteristics of large-scale parameters(LSPs) and small-scale fading(SSF) for high-speed railway(HSR) multilink propagation scenarios, based on realistic measurements conducted on Beijing to Tianjin HSR line in China. A long-term evolution-based channel sounding system is utilized in the measurements to obtain the channel data. By applying a proposed time-delay based dynamic partition method, multi-link channel impulse responses are extracted from the raw channel data. Then, the statistical results of LSPs, including shadow fading, K-factor, and root-mean-square delay spread are derived and the cross-correlation coefficients of these LPSs are calculated. Moreover, the SSF spatial correlation and cross-correlation of SSF are analyzed. These results can be used to exploit multi-link channel model and to optimize the next-generation HSR communication system.
