In this paper,we develop a multi-scalar auxiliary variables(MSAV)scheme for the Cahn-Hilliard Magnetohydrodynamics system by introducing two scalar auxiliary variables(SAV).This scheme is linear, fully decoupled and unconditionally stable in energy.Subsequently,we provide a detailed implementation procedure for full decoupling. Thus,at each time step, only a series of linear differential equations with constant coefficients need to be solved. To validate the effectiveness of our approach,we conduct an error analysis for this first-order scheme. Finally, some numerical experiments are provided to verify the energy dissipation of the system and the convergence of the proposed approach. 展开更多

Accurate 3-D fracture network model for rock mass in dam foundation is of vital importance for stability, grouting and seepage analysis of dam foundation. With the aim of reducing deviation between fracture network model and measured data,a 3-D fracture network dynamic modeling method based on error analysis was proposed.Firstly, errors of four fracture volume density estimation methods(proposed by ODA,KULATILAKE,MAULDON,and SONG)and that of four fracture size estimation methods(proposed by EINSTEIN,SONG and TONON)were respectively compared, and the optimal methods were determined.Additionally, error index representing the deviation between fracture network model and measured data was established with integrated use of fractal dimension and relative absolute error(RAE).On this basis, the downhill simplex method was used to build the dynamic modeling method, which takes the minimum of error index as objective function and dynamically adjusts the fracture density and size parameters to correct the error index. Finally, the 3-D fracture network model could be obtained which meets the requirements. The proposed method was applied for 3-D fractures simulation in Miao Wei hydropower project in China for feasibility verification and the error index reduced from 2.618 to 0.337. 展开更多

Error analysis methods in frequency domain are developed in this paper for determining the characteristic root and transfer function errors when the linear multipass algorithms are used to solve linear differential equations. The relation between the local truncation error in time domain and the error in frequency domain is established, which is the basis for developing the error estimation methods. The error estimation methods for the digital simulation model constructed by using the Runge-Kutta algorithms and the linear multistep predictor-corrector algorithms are also given. 展开更多

Its main demerit is the big hyperbolic error which is caused in the process of processing cone, but about the discussion of hyperbolic error, there are two drawbacks in the current books and documents: (1) The error measuring plane is established on the rake face of tool, which doesn’t coincide with the actual measuring plane (axial plane) of work piece; (2) When the influential elements of error are analyzed, single parameter is only discussed. In order to overcome these demerits, the mathematical model of hyperbolic error on the axial plane of work piece is built in this paper when round body form tool processes cone. The fundamental reason which causes hyperbolic error when round body form tool processes cone is that the line profile replaces the curve profile of theory in the radial cut plane of tool in the design and manufacture of tool. In order to evaluate the mathematical formula of its error, firstly, the equation of cone of work piece must be established, secondly, the equation of cutting lip in the rake face is established, then, the profile equation of the radial plane of tool is evaluated on the condition that coordinate is changed, at last, the hyperbolic error is derived according to the equation and the substitutional line equation, and the error is converted to the axial plane of work piece which is coincided with the measuring plane. The actual calculation and the theory analysis indicated that if the cone length and the coning of the cone of work piece are fixed, the main elements which affect the hyperbolic error in the axial plane of work piece are the outside diameter R of round body form tool, the rake angle and the rear angle in "base point". If these three parameters are combined rationally, the hyperbolic error is minimum when round body form tool process cone, and the machining precision of work piece can be improved, on the condition that neither the work capacity of the tool design nor the manufacture cost of tool increases. 展开更多

In this work,we construct two efficient fully decoupled, linear, unconditionally stable numerical algorithms for the thermally coupled incompressible magnetohydrodynamic equations.Firstly,in order to obtain the desired algorithm,we introduce a scalar auxiliary variable(SAV)to get a new equivalent system.Secondly,by combining the pressure-correction method and the explicit-implicit method,we perform semi-discrete numerical algorithms of first and second order, respectively. Then,we prove that the obtained algorithms follow an unconditionally stable law in energy, and we provide a detailed implementation process, which we only need to solve a series of linear differential equations with constant coefficients at each time step.More importantly, with some powerful analysis,we give the order of convergence of the errors. Finally,to illustrate theoretical results, some numerical experiments are given. 展开更多

The machining principle and realization method for the continuous generative grinding face gear by a worm wheel are introduced. Based on a five-axis linked CNC grinding machine, a new method is presented to deprive the equation of face gear error tooth surface by assuming the tool surface as the error surface, where actual tool installation position error is introduced into the equation of virtual shaper cutter. Surface equations and 3-D models for the face gear and the worm wheel involving four kinds of tool installation errors are established. When compared, the face gear tooth surface machined in VERICUT software for simulation based on this new method and the one obtained based on real process(grinding face gear by using a theoretical worm wheel with actual position errors) are found to be coincident, which proves the validity and feasibility of this new method. By using mesh planning for the rotating projection plane of the face gear work tooth surface, the deviation values of the tooth surface and the difference surface are acquired, and the influence of four kinds of errors on the face gear tooth surface is analyzed. Accordingly, this work provides a theoretical reference for assembly craft of worm wheel, improvement of face gear machining accuracy and modification of error tooth surface. 展开更多

In order to improve the processing precision and shorten the hob manufacturing cycle of the face gear,a precision generating hobbing method for face gear with the assembly spherical hob is proposed.Firstly, the evolution of the cylindrical gear to spherical hob basic worm is analyzed, then the spherical hob basic worm is designed, thus the basic worm and spiral angle equation of spherical hob are obtained.Secondly, based on the design method of the existing hob,the development method of the assembly spherical hob is analyzed, the cutter tooth and the cutter substrate of the assembly hob are designed, and the whole assembly is finished.Thirdly, based on the need of face gear hobbing,a numerical control machine for gear hobbing is developed, and the equation of the face gear is obtained.Fourth, for reducing the face gear processing errors induced by equivalent installation errors, the error analysis model is established and the impacts of each error on the gear tooth surface are analyzed. Finally, the assembly spherical hob is manufactured and the gear hobbing test is completed.According to the measurement results, the processing parameters of face gear hobbing are modified, and the deviation of tooth surface is significantly reduced. 展开更多

A grating lobes suppression method for chirp-subpulse stepped frequency(CSSF) signals is proposed, which is applied to deformation monitoring using the ground based synthetic aperture radar(GB-SAR) system. This method is based on accurate estimation and correction of the phase and amplitude error along two dimensions(range and azimuth), i.e., the error estimation inside the subpulse(in-subpulse error) and across the stepped frequency subpulses(cross-subpulse error) of transmitted CSSF signals. Validated both with simulated data and experimental data recorded in the deformation monitoring campaign, it can be seen that the method as well as the relative conclusions can be fully and effectively applied to most of the stepped frequency systems. 展开更多

With a small number of snapshots, performances of uniform circular array (UCA) root-MUSIC based methods for directionof- arrival (DOA) estimation suffer serious degradation, because the beamspace sample covariance matrix (BSCM) severely deviates from the true one. To solve this problem, an iterative technique is proposed. The proposed technique has two key points: transform array data into beamspace data and construct a BSCM; modify the BSCM repeatedly by removing the residual parts. Meanwhile, error and beamspace leakage associated with the BSCM are investigated. The proposed technique can significantly reduce the error and the beamspace leakage which in turn could improve the performance for DOA estimation. Simulation results are given to illustrate the superiority of the proposed technique for uncorrelated and correlated signals. © 2016 Beijing Institute of Aerospace Information. 展开更多

In solving the clustering problem in the context of knowledge discovery in databases (KDD), the traditional methods, for example, the K-means algorithm and its variants, usually require the users to provide the number of clusters in advance based on the pro-information. Unfortunately, the number of clusters in general is unknown to the users who are usually short of pro-information. Therefore, the clustering calculation becomes a tedious trial-and-error work, and the result is often not global optimal especially when the number of clusters is large. In this paper, a new dynamic clustering method based on genetic algorithms (GA) is proposed and applied for auto-clustering of data entities in large databases. The algorithm can automatically cluster the data according to their similarities and find the exact number of clusters. Experiment results indicate that the method is of global optimization by dynamically clustering logic. 展开更多

Single passive sensor tracking algorithms have four disadvantages: bad stability, longdynamic time, big bias and sensitive to initial conditions. So the corresponding fusion algorithm results in bad performance. A new error analysis method for two passive sensor tracking system is presented and the error equations are deduced in detail. Based on the equations, we carry out theoretical computation and Monte Carlo computer simulation. The results show the correctness of our error computation equations. With the error equations, we present multiple 'two station'fusion algorithm using adaptive pseudo measurement equations. This greatly enhances the tracking performance and makes the algorithm convergent very fast and not sensitive to initial conditions.Simulation results prove the correctness of our new algorithm. 展开更多

In hardware-in-the-loop simulations of the guidance and control system for these kinds of spinning missiles, improper use of special simulation equipment and test method will cause significant errors, even lead to failure of the simulation.
