So the genetic algorithm is introduced to improve the computational efficiency of the 2 D entropy method. The proposed method uses both the gray value of a pixel and the local average gray value of an image. At the same time, the simple genetic algorithm is improved by using better reproduction and crossover operators. Thus the proposed method makes up the 2 D entropy method’s drawback of being time consuming, and yields satisfactory segmentation results. Experimental results show that the proposed method can save computational time when it provides good quality segmentation.展开更多
This study investigated the physicochemical properties,enzyme activities,volatile flavor components,microbial communities,and sensory evaluation of high-temperature Daqu(HTD)during the maturation process,and a standar...This study investigated the physicochemical properties,enzyme activities,volatile flavor components,microbial communities,and sensory evaluation of high-temperature Daqu(HTD)during the maturation process,and a standard system was established for comprehensive quality evaluation of HTD.There were obvious changes in the physicochemical properties,enzyme activities,and volatile flavor components at different storage periods,which affected the sensory evaluation of HTD to a certain extent.The results of high-throughput sequencing revealed significant microbial diversity,and showed that the bacterial community changed significantly more than did the fungal community.During the storage process,the dominant bacterial genera were Kroppenstedtia and Thermoascus.The correlation between dominant microorganisms and quality indicators highlighted their role in HTD quality.Lactococcus,Candida,Pichia,Paecilomyces,and protease activity played a crucial role in the formation of isovaleraldehyde.Acidic protease activity had the greatest impact on the microbial community.Moisture promoted isobutyric acid generation.Furthermore,the comprehensive quality evaluation standard system was established by the entropy weight method combined with multi-factor fuzzy mathematics.Consequently,this study provides innovative insights for comprehensive quality evaluation of HTD during storage and establishes a groundwork for scientific and rational storage of HTD and quality control of sauce-flavor Baijiu.展开更多
In order to conduct a comparative analysis on China's Telecommunications/ICT regulation effectiveness to make up the omission of international researches,and to find out the difference between China and other coun...In order to conduct a comparative analysis on China's Telecommunications/ICT regulation effectiveness to make up the omission of international researches,and to find out the difference between China and other countries and try to improve China's ICT regulation effectiveness,this paper developed an extended,integrated ICT regulation effectiveness assessment framework,with a name of IEP framework that consists of three assessment directions,namely regulation institution,regulation enforcement and industry performance.Based on this framework and by using Entropy Method,the paper then selected 10 sample countries,including China,six developed countries,and other three developing countries,and made a comprehensive comparison evaluation for those countries.Finally,by focusing on China's results of ranking 10 in institution,6 in enforcement,5 in performance and 8 in total ranking,the paper gave the explanation and presented improvement suggestions for the future ICT regulation in China.展开更多

Finally,a maximum entropy method is implemented on the fabric image after frangi filtering to separate the defected area. The probability-density function (pdf) is deduced by MEM under the restraint of the square of the data. A group of experiment data is processed using the method and the result closed to the real distribution is got. The different pdf got under different order of square and by different content of samples is discussed. It draws conclusions that the pdf in the square restrain with more order than three using MEM can give the distribution of the data basically, and it is not suitable to use the square restraint of data when the samples are less.展开更多
The quantitative determination and evaluation of rock brittleness are crucial for the estimation of excavation efficiency and the improvement of hydraulic fracturing efficiency.Therefore,a“three-stage”triaxial loadi...The quantitative determination and evaluation of rock brittleness are crucial for the estimation of excavation efficiency and the improvement of hydraulic fracturing efficiency.Therefore,a“three-stage”triaxial loading and unloading stress path is designed and proposed.Subsequently,six brittleness indices are selected.In addition,the evolution characteristics of the six brittleness indices selected are characterized based on the bedding effect and the effect of confining pressure.Then,the entropy weight method(EWM)is introduced to assign weight to the six brittleness indices,and the comprehensive brittleness index Bcis defined and evaluated.Next,the new brittleness classification standard is determined,and the brittleness differences between the two stress paths are quantified.Finally,compared with the previous evaluation methods,the rationality of the proposed comprehensive brittleness index Bcis also verified.These results indicate that the proposed brittleness index Bccan reflect the brittle characteristics of deep bedded sandstone from the perspective of the whole life-cycle evolution process.Accordingly,the method proposed seems to offer reliable evaluations of the brittleness of deep bedded sandstone in deep engineering practices,although further validation is necessary.展开更多
Purpose:The purpose of this paper is to measure author influence in scientific collaboration networks by considering the combined effects of multiple indexes.In the meanwhile,we intend to explore a method to avoid ass...Purpose:The purpose of this paper is to measure author influence in scientific collaboration networks by considering the combined effects of multiple indexes.In the meanwhile,we intend to explore a method to avoid assigning subjective weights.Design/methodology/approach:We applied four centrality measures(degree centrality,betweenness centrality,closeness centrality and eigenvector centrality)and authors’published papers to the scientific collaboration network.The grey relational analysis(GRA)method based on information entropy was used to measure an author’s impact in the collaboration network.The weight of each evaluation index was determined based on information entropy.The ACM SIGKDD collaboration network was selected as an example to demonstrate the practicality and effectiveness of our method.Findings:Author influence was not always positively correlated with evaluation indexes such as degree centrality and betweenness centrality.This implies that combined effects of multiple indexes should be considered in author impact analysis.The introduction of the GRA method based on information entropy can reduce the interference of human factors in the evaluation process.Research limitations:We only analyzed author influence from the perspective of scientific collaboration,but the impact of citation on author influence was ignored.Practical implications:The proposed method can be also applied to detect influential authors in bibliographic co-citation network,author co-citation network,bibliographic coupling network or author coupling network.It would help facilitate scientific collaboration and enhance scholarly communication.Originality/value:This paper proposes an analytical method of evaluating author influence in scientific collaboration networks,in which combined effects of multiple indexes are considered and the interference of human factors is reduced in the evaluation process.展开更多
