E-business will change the ways that all companies do business, and most traditional businesses will evolve from their current business model to a combination of place and space via e-business model. To choose the proper e-business model becomes the important strategic concern for company to succeed. The main objective of this paper is to investigate the analysis framework for identifying e-business model. Based on the e-business process, from the value chain to the value net perspective. This paper provides a theoretical framework for identifying e-business models, and results in 11 e-business models. The strategic intend of every e-business model is discussed in the end of this paper. An enterprise e-business model design and implementation can be specified by the combination of one or more among 11 e-business models. 展开更多

Because of the ubiquity of information and communication technology (ICT) and ICT-based information systems, ICT workers in business organisations have power, both intentional and unintentional, over people's quality of life. On this point, all of them, not only ICT professionals but also non-professionals or end-users, need to accept responsibility to the public and to have professional spirit in order to make and keep the information society and e-business environment safe and reliable. However, an individual ICT worker is not necessarily a strong existence; he or she is in a complex situation filled with stress and pressure and his or her decisions are sometimes affected by it. Therefore, social and organisational measures to prompt ICT workers to behave in professional spirit are necessary to be taken. 展开更多

With the progress and development of information society,electronic business(e-Business) becomes a new model of business.E-Business does lower the cost of trading significantly;furthermore it allows restructuring the supply chain,business processes, and the nature of business.Open standard plays an important role in expanding e-Business,ranging from the Internet protocol(TCP/IP,HTTP...) to nearly all aspects of information technology that related to e-Business.More importantly,openness has emerged as a strategy with many of the most successful e-Business ventures granting business partner and consumers unparallel access to their inner working and personnel.Open standards have given rise to a prodigious international expansion in the number of users and range of applications relevant to daily life.The traditional market failure argument suggests that because innovation is expensive to produce and cheap to copy,so more intellectual property incorporated into the standards,and e-Business is inevitable.This paper defines the new framework of e-Business,which describes the relationship of the public benefit from Open Standard and the private benefit from intellectual property and try to find a balance between the benefits of the patent holders,industry,and end-users in order to realize a winning situation for all parties. 展开更多

Fuzzy cognitive maps (FCM) is a well-established artificial intelligence technique, which can be effectively applied in the domains of performance measurement, decision making and other management science. FCM can be a useful tool in a group decision-making environment by using scientifically integrated expert knowledge. The theories of FCM and balance scorecard (BSC) both emphasize cause-and-effect relationships among indicators in a complex system, but few reports have been published addressing the combined application of these two techniques. In this paper we propose a FCM simulation model for the sample performance measurement system of Intemet-based supply chain, which is constructed by BSC theory. We gave examples to explain how FCM can be adapted to execute the causal mechanism of BSC, and also how FCM can support group decision-making and forecasting in performance measurement. 展开更多
