Based on semigroup and operator theory, by means of multiple Lyapunov method incorporated average dwell time approach, sufficient con- ditions are derived in terms of linear operator inequalities frame- work for distributed parameter switched systems. Being applied to one dimensional heat propagation switched systems, these lin- ear operator inequalities are reduced to linear matrix inequalities subsequently. In particular, the state feedback gain matrices and the switching law are designed, and the state decay estimate is explicitly given whose decay coefficient completely depends on the system's parameter and the boundary condition. Finally, two numerical examples are given to illustrate the proposed method.展开更多

Firstly, three architectures of signal processing in the DCAR are introduced. Secondly, the closed-form Cramer-Rao bound (CRB) of the CPP estimation is derived and compared. Then, the closed-form CRB is verified by numerical simulations. Finally, when the next generation radar works in a fully coherent mode, the closed-form signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) gain of the three architectures is presented.展开更多

In this paper, the numerical simulation of the dynamic functions has been carried out by transforming this problem to a fixed-domain initial-boundary value problem, and the numerical results are obtained: (1) Thedistribution of temperature rises, the ablation amount and velocity of the thermal shield vary with the time; (2) The maximum ablating velocity, the time of the ablation beginning and ending related to thetranspiration quantity. This method succeeds in overcoming the difficulty brought up by variable domain. On the other hand, the critical transpiration quantity for the surface to start ablating, the maximum ablating velocity and time of the ablation ending are obtained theoretically.展开更多

The simulated results were compared to experimental results and found to be in accordance. Variations in the temperature field and solid-liquid region, which plays important roles in determining solidification structures, were also examined under various cooling conditions. The proposed model was utilized to determine the effects of Gaussian distribution parameters to find that the lower the mean undercooling, the higher the equiaxed crystal zone ratio; also, the larger the maximum nucleation density, the smaller the grain size. The influence of superheat on solidification structure and columnar to equiaxed transition(CET) in the cast ingot was also investigated to find that decrease in superheat from 52 K to 20 K causes the equiaxed crystal zone ratio to increase from 58.13% to 65.6%, the mean gain radius to decrease from 2.102 mm to 1.871 mm, and the CET to occur ahead of schedule. To this effect, low superheat casting is beneficial to obtain finer equiaxed gains and higher equiaxed dendrite zone ratio in Fe–6.5%Si alloy cast ingots.展开更多
