Combining the strengths of Lagrangian and Eulerian descriptions,the coupled Lagrangian–Eulerian methods play an increasingly important role in various subjects.This work reviews their development and application in o...Combining the strengths of Lagrangian and Eulerian descriptions,the coupled Lagrangian–Eulerian methods play an increasingly important role in various subjects.This work reviews their development and application in ocean engineering.Initially,we briefly outline the advantages and disadvantages of the Lagrangian and Eulerian descriptions and the main characteristics of the coupled Lagrangian–Eulerian approach.Then,following the developmental trajectory of these methods,the fundamental formulations and the frameworks of various approaches,including the arbitrary Lagrangian–Eulerian finite element method,the particle-in-cell method,the material point method,and the recently developed Lagrangian–Eulerian stabilized collocation method,are detailedly reviewed.In addition,the article reviews the research progress of these methods with applications in ocean hydrodynamics,focusing on free surface flows,numerical wave generation,wave overturning and breaking,interactions between waves and coastal structures,fluid–rigid body interactions,fluid–elastic body interactions,multiphase flow problems and visualization of ocean flows,etc.Furthermore,the latest research advancements in the numerical stability,accuracy,efficiency,and consistency of the coupled Lagrangian–Eulerian particle methods are reviewed;these advancements enable efficient and highly accurate simulation of complicated multiphysics problems in ocean and coastal engineering.By building on these works,the current challenges and future directions of the hybrid Lagrangian–Eulerian particle methods are summarized.展开更多

To reveal their relationship with density estimation in the case of the Gaussian kernel, OCSVM and SVDD are firstly unified into the framework of kernel density estimation, and the essential relationship between them is explicitly revealed. Then the result proves that the density estimation induced by OCSVM or SVDD is in agreement with the true density. Meanwhile, it can also reduce the integrated squared error (ISE). The ALE kinemat ical description is introduced to move the computational mesh independently of f luid motion, and the container fixed noninertial coordinate system is employed to establish the governing equations so that the mesh is needed to be updated in this coordinate system only. This leads to a very simple mesh moving algorithm which makes it easy to trace the motion of the moving boundaries and the free su rface without producing undesirable distortion of the computational mesh. The fi nite element method and finite difference method are used spacewise and timewise , respectively. A numerical example involving either forced horizontal oscillati on or forced pitching oscillation of the fluid filled container is presented to illustrate the effectiveness and the robustness of the method. This paper pr...Quantitative description of the high-capacity channels in unconsolidated sandstone reservoirs, into which water was injected to improve oil recovery, is a hot topic in the field of reservoir development. This paper presents a novel approach to describing quantitatively the characteristics of connected macropores in unconsolidated sandstone reservoirs using in situ production data. Based on physical simulation for formation mechanisms of high capacity channels and interwell tracer test data, a mathematical model was established to describe high-capacity channels by grey correlation theory, flow mechanism of fluid in porous media and reservoir engineering, and a program was developed to describe quantitatively the channel characteristics. The predicted results were consistent with field monitoring data (80%), so this model could be economically and effectively used to identify high-capacity channels.展开更多
Hade 4 oilfield is located on the Hadexun tectonic belt north of the Manjiaer depression in the Tarim basin, whose main target layer is the Donghe sandstone reservoir, with a burial depth over 5,000m and an amplitude ...Hade 4 oilfield is located on the Hadexun tectonic belt north of the Manjiaer depression in the Tarim basin, whose main target layer is the Donghe sandstone reservoir, with a burial depth over 5,000m and an amplitude below 34m, at the bottom of the Carboniferous. The Donghe sandstone reservoir consists of littoral facies deposited quartz sandstones of the transgressive system tract, overlapping northward and pinching out. Exploration and development confirms that water-oil contact tilts from the southeast to the northwest with a drop height of nearly 80m. The reservoir, under the control of both the stratigraphic overlap pinch-out and tectonism, is a typical subtle reservoir. The Donghe sandstone reservoir in Hade 4 oilfield also has the feature of a large oil-bearing area (over 130 km2 proved), a small thickness (average efficient thickness below 6m) and a low abundance (below 50 × 104t/km2). Moreover, above the target layer developed a set of igneous rocks with an uneven thickness in the Permian formation, thus causing a great difficulty in research of the velocity field. Considering these features, an combination mode of exploration and development is adopted, namely by way of whole deployment, step-by-step enforcement and rolling development with key problems to be tackled, in order to further deepen the understanding and enlarge the fruits of exploration and development. The paper technically focuses its study on the following four aspects concerning problem tackling. First, to strengthen the collecting, processing and explanation of seismic data, improve the resolution, accurately recognize the pinch-out line of the Donghe sandstone reservoir by combining the drilling materials in order to make sure its distribution law; second, to strengthen the research on velocity field, improve the accuracy of variable speed mapping, make corrections by the data from newly- drilled key wells and, as a result, the precision of tectonic description is greatly improved; third, to strengthen the research on sequence stratigraphy and make sure the distribution law of the Donghe sandstone; and fourth, with a step- by-step extrapolation method, to deepen the cognition of the leaning water-oil contact, and by combining the tectonic description and drilling results, to make sure little by little the law of change of the water-oil contact. The exploration and development of the Donghe sandstone subtle reservoir in Hade 4 oilfield is a gradually perfected process. From 1998 when it was discovered till now, the reservoir has managed to make a benign circle of exploration and development, in which its reserve has gradually been enlarged, its production scale increased, and, in a word, it has used techniques necessary for this subtle reservoir in the Tarim basin.展开更多

The method of describing deformation camouflage spots based on feature space has some shortcomings,such as inaccurate description and difficult reproduction.Depending on the strong fitting ability of the generative ad...The method of describing deformation camouflage spots based on feature space has some shortcomings,such as inaccurate description and difficult reproduction.Depending on the strong fitting ability of the generative adversarial network model,the distribution of deformation camouflage spot pattern can be directly fitted,thus simplifying the process of spot extraction and reproduction.The requirements of background spot extraction are analyzed theoretically.The calculation formula of limiting the range of image spot pixels is given and two kinds of spot data sets,forestland and snowfield,are established.Spot feature is decomposed into shape,size and color features,and a GAN(Generative Adversarial Network)framework is established.The effects of different loss functions on network training results are analyzed in the experiment.In the meantime,when the input dimension of generator network is 128,the balance between sample diversity and quality can be achieved.The effects of sample generation are investigated in two aspects.Subjectively,the probability of the generated spots being distinguished in the background is counted,and the results are all less than 20% and mostly close to zero.Objectively,the features of the spot shape are calculated and the independent sample T-test is applied to verify that the features are from the same distribution,and all the P-Values are much higher than 0.05.Both subjective and objective methods prove that the spots generated by this method are similar to the background spots.The proposed method can directly generate the desired camouflage pattern spots,which provides a new technical method for the deformation camouflage pattern design and camouflage effect evaluation.展开更多

The accident occurrence possibility and their consequences are much lower for the TMSR-LF1 than that of traditional reactors.Based on accident analysis, the maximum credible accident and the radioactive source terms of the TMSR-LF1 were first estimated. Then, the total effective dose of the maximum credible accident was calculated. Based on calculations, the cover gas flow rate can significantly affect the radiation consequences of the maximum credible accident when it changes from 0 to 10 L/min. If no cover gas is flowing, a site-area emergency would be required within the range of 50–73 m from the reactor. In the case of cover gas flow, only an abnormal notification and an alert two emergency class would be required within the range of 50 m.展开更多

To visually describe the sanding pattern,this study constructs a new particle-scale microstructure model of weakly consolidated formation,and develop the corresponding methodology to simulate the sanding process and p...To visually describe the sanding pattern,this study constructs a new particle-scale microstructure model of weakly consolidated formation,and develop the corresponding methodology to simulate the sanding process and predict sand cavity shape.The microstructure model is a particle-objective model,which focuses on the random sedimentation of every sand grain.In the microstructure,every particle has its own size,sphericity and inclination angle.It is used to simulate the actual structure of cemented granular materials,which considers the heterogeneity and randomness of reservoir properties,provides the initial status for subsequent sanding simulation.With the particle detachment criteria,the microscopic simulation of sanding can be visually implemented to investigate the pattern and cavity shapes caused by sand production.The results indicate that sanding always starts initially from the borehole border,and then extends along the weakly consolidated plane,showing obvious characteristic of randomness.Three typical microscopic sanding patterns,concerning pore liquefaction,pseudo wormhole and continuous collapse,are proposed to illustrate the sanding mechanism in weakly consolidated reservoirs.The nonuniformity of sanding performance depends on the heterogeneous distribution of reservoir properties,such as rock strength and particle size.Finally,the three sanding patterns are verified by visually experimental work.The proposed integrated methodology is capable of predicting and describing the sanding cavity shape of an oil well after long-term sanding production,and providing the focus objective of future sand control measure.展开更多

文摘Detector and event visualization are essential parts of the software used in high-energy physics(HEP)experiments.Modern visualization techniques and multimedia production platforms such as Unity provide impressive display effects and professional extensions for visualization in HEP experiments.In this study,a method for automatic detector description transformation is presented,which can convert the complicated HEP detector geometry from GDML in offline software to 3D modeling in Unity.The method was successfully applied in the BESIII experiment and can be further developed into applications such as event displays,data monitoring,or virtual reality.It has great potential in detector design,offline software development,physics analysis,and outreach for next-generation HEP experiments as well as applications in nuclear techniques for the industry.

文摘The method of describing deformation camouflage spots based on feature space has some shortcomings,such as inaccurate description and difficult reproduction.Depending on the strong fitting ability of the generative adversarial network model,the distribution of deformation camouflage spot pattern can be directly fitted,thus simplifying the process of spot extraction and reproduction.The requirements of background spot extraction are analyzed theoretically.The calculation formula of limiting the range of image spot pixels is given and two kinds of spot data sets,forestland and snowfield,are established.Spot feature is decomposed into shape,size and color features,and a GAN(Generative Adversarial Network)framework is established.The effects of different loss functions on network training results are analyzed in the experiment.In the meantime,when the input dimension of generator network is 128,the balance between sample diversity and quality can be achieved.The effects of sample generation are investigated in two aspects.Subjectively,the probability of the generated spots being distinguished in the background is counted,and the results are all less than 20% and mostly close to zero.Objectively,the features of the spot shape are calculated and the independent sample T-test is applied to verify that the features are from the same distribution,and all the P-Values are much higher than 0.05.Both subjective and objective methods prove that the spots generated by this method are similar to the background spots.The proposed method can directly generate the desired camouflage pattern spots,which provides a new technical method for the deformation camouflage pattern design and camouflage effect evaluation.
文摘This article analyses the procedure of exploration of the Tertiary subtle trap in Jiyang depression and divides the Tertiary subtle trap into 3 types (lithologic reservoir, stratigraphic reservoir and fractured reservoir) and 8 groups, then summarizes the common feature and founding discipline of the subtle trap and finds 4 accumulating modes including steep slope mode, depression mode, center anticline mode and gentle slope mode. Its main exploration methods are explicated from the viewpoint of reservoir geological modeling, description of recognizing traps and comprehensive evaluation of reservoir and so on.
文摘The thorium molten salt reactor–liquid fuel(TMSR-LF1) has inherent safety features. The accident occurrence possibility and their consequences are much lower for the TMSR-LF1 than that of traditional reactors.Based on accident analysis, the maximum credible accident and the radioactive source terms of the TMSR-LF1 were first estimated. Then, the total effective dose of the maximum credible accident was calculated. Based on calculations, the cover gas flow rate can significantly affect the radiation consequences of the maximum credible accident when it changes from 0 to 10 L/min. If no cover gas is flowing, a site-area emergency would be required within the range of 50–73 m from the reactor. In the case of cover gas flow, only an abnormal notification and an alert two emergency class would be required within the range of 50 m.

文摘To visually describe the sanding pattern,this study constructs a new particle-scale microstructure model of weakly consolidated formation,and develop the corresponding methodology to simulate the sanding process and predict sand cavity shape.The microstructure model is a particle-objective model,which focuses on the random sedimentation of every sand grain.In the microstructure,every particle has its own size,sphericity and inclination angle.It is used to simulate the actual structure of cemented granular materials,which considers the heterogeneity and randomness of reservoir properties,provides the initial status for subsequent sanding simulation.With the particle detachment criteria,the microscopic simulation of sanding can be visually implemented to investigate the pattern and cavity shapes caused by sand production.The results indicate that sanding always starts initially from the borehole border,and then extends along the weakly consolidated plane,showing obvious characteristic of randomness.Three typical microscopic sanding patterns,concerning pore liquefaction,pseudo wormhole and continuous collapse,are proposed to illustrate the sanding mechanism in weakly consolidated reservoirs.The nonuniformity of sanding performance depends on the heterogeneous distribution of reservoir properties,such as rock strength and particle size.Finally,the three sanding patterns are verified by visually experimental work.The proposed integrated methodology is capable of predicting and describing the sanding cavity shape of an oil well after long-term sanding production,and providing the focus objective of future sand control measure.

In this article, the authors give several equivalent descriptions of the functions in the F(p, q, s) space on Ω in terms of fractional differential operators. At the same time, the authors give the relationship between F(p, q, s) space and Bloch type space on Ω too.
