However, for newly developing or developed mobile communication networks(MCN), only limited delay data can be obtained. In such a network, the delay is with epistemic uncertainty, which makes the traditional routing scheme based on deterministic theory or probability theory not applicable. Motivated by this problem, the MCN with epistemic uncertainty is first summarized as a dynamic uncertain network based on uncertainty theory, which is widely applied to model epistemic uncertainties. Then by modeling the uncertain end-toend delay, a new delay bounded routing scheme is proposed to find the path with the maximum belief degree that satisfies the delay threshold for the dynamic uncertain network. Finally, a lowEarth-orbit satellite communication network(LEO-SCN) is used as a case to verify the effectiveness of our routing scheme. It is first modeled as a dynamic uncertain network, and then the delay bounded paths with the maximum belief degree are computed and compared under different delay thresholds.展开更多

It was assumed that the time varying original-destination demand and passenger path choice probability were given. Passengers were assumed not to change their destinations and travel paths after delay occurs. CapaciW constraints of train and queue rules of alighting and boarding were taken into account. By using the time-driven simulation, the states of passengers, trains and other facilities in the network were updated every time step. The proposed methodology was also tested in a real network, for demonstration. The results reveal that short train delay does not necessarily result in passenger delays, while, on the contrary, some passengers may get benefits from the short delay. However, large initial train delay may result in not only knock-on train and passenger delays along the same line, but also the passenger delays across the entire rail transit network.展开更多

The proposed tuning formula consistently gives better performance in comparison to several well-known methods at the same degree of robustness for stable, integrating and unstable processes. For the selection of the closed-loop time constant(τc), a guideline is provided over a broad range of time-delay/time-constant ratios on the basis of the peak of maximum sensitivity(Ms). An analysis has been performed for the uncertainty margin with the different process parameters for the robust controller design. It gives the guideline of the Ms-value settings for the PI controller designs based on the process parameters uncertainty. Furthermore, a relationship has been developed between Ms-value and uncertainty margin with the different process parameters(k, τ and θ). Simulation study has been conducted for the broad class of processes and the controllers are tuned to have the same degree of robustness by measuring the maximum sensitivity, Ms, in order to obtain a reasonable comparison.展开更多

In contrast to the ground, the base of the MSRS is floating when assembled in orbit, resulting in a strong dynamic coupling effect. A TED-based ASMC technique with exponential reaching law is designed to achieve high-precision coordinated control between the spacecraft base and the robotic arm. TDE technology is used by the controller to compensate for coupling terms and uncertainties, while ASMC can augment and improve TDE’s robustness. To suppress TDE errors and eliminate chattering, a new adaptive law is created to modify gain parameters online, ensuring quick dynamic response and high tracking accuracy. The main idea aims at designing a state-feedback controller such that for a time-varying delay in states, the linear system with nonlinear perturbation remains robustly stable and passive. In the system, the delay is time-varying. And the derivation of delay has the maximum and minimum value. The time-varying nonlinear perturbation is allowed to be norm-bounded. Using the effective linear matrix inequality methodology, the sufficient condition is primarily obtained for the system to have robust stability and passivity. Subsequently the existent condition of a state feedback controller is given, and the explicit expression of the controller is obtained by means of the solution of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). In the end, a numerical example is given to demonstrate the validity and applicability of the proposed approach.展开更多

Based on discrete time Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional method, a sufficient delaydependent condition for asymptotic stability of nonlinear systems is offered. Then, this condition is used to design a new efficient delayed state feedback controller(DSFC) for stabilization of such systems. These conditions are in the linear matrix inequality(LMI) framework. Illustrative examples confirm the improvement of the proposed approach over the similar cases. Furthermore, the obtained stability and stabilization conditions will be extended to uncertain discrete time delayed systems(UDTDS) with polytopic parameter uncertainties and also with norm-bounded parameter uncertainties.展开更多

文摘The problem of delay-dependent passive control of a class of linear systems with nonlinear perturbation and time-varying delay in states is studied. In the end, a numerical example is given to demonstrate the validity and applicability of the proposed approach.

文摘This paper deals with the problem of stability for systems with delay varying in an interval.A new Lyapunov functional, which makes use of the information of both the lower and upper bounds of the interval time-varying delay,is proposed to derive some new stability criteria.Furthermore, the relationship of the time-varying delay and its lower bound and upper bound is taken into account. As a result, some less conservative delay-dependent stability criteria are obtained without ignoring any useful information in the derivative of Lyapunov functional, which are established in the forms of linear matrix inequalities.Numerical examples are provided to show that the obtained results are better than existing ones.

文摘The problem on stabilization for the system with distributed delays is researched. The distributed time-delay under consideration is assumed to be a constant time-delay,but not known exactly.A design method is proposed for a memory proportional and integral(PI)feedback controller with adaptation to distributed time-delay.The feedback controller with memory simultaneously contains the current state and the past distributed information of the addressed systems. The design for adaptation law to distributed delay is very concise. The controller can be derived by solving a set of linear matrix inequalities(LMIs).Two numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the design method.
文摘The stability and stabilization of a class of nonlinear discrete time delayed systems(NDTDS) with time-varying delay and norm-bounded nonlinearity are investigated. Furthermore, the obtained stability and stabilization conditions will be extended to uncertain discrete time delayed systems(UDTDS) with polytopic parameter uncertainties and also with norm-bounded parameter uncertainties.
