Aging Characteristics of Lithium-Ion Battery Under Fast Charging Based on Electrochemical-thermalmechanical Coupling Model

The aging characteristics of lithium-ion battery(LIB)under fast charging is investigated based on an electrochemical-thermal-mechanical(ETM)coupling model.Firstly,the ETM coupling model is established by COMSOL Multiphysics.Subsequently,a long cycle test was conducted to explore the aging characteristics of LIB.Specifically,the effects of charging(C)rate and cycle number on battery aging are analyzed in terms of nonuniform distribution of solid electrolyte interface(SEI),SEI formation,thermal stability and stress characteristics.The results indicate that the increases in C rate and cycling led to an increase in the degree of nonuniform distribution of SEI,and thus a consequent increase in the capacity loss due to the SEI formation.Meanwhile,the increases in C rate and cycle number also led to an increase in the heat generation and a decrease in the heat dissipation rate of the battery,respectively,which result in a decrease in the thermal stability of the electrode materials.In addition,the von Mises stress of the positive electrode material is higher than that of the negative electrode material as the cycling proceeds,with the positive electrode material exhibiting tensile deformation and the negative electrode material exhibiting compressive deformation.The available lithium ion concentration of the positive electrode is lower than that of the negative electrode,proving that the tensile-type fracture occurring in the positive material under long cycling dominated the capacity loss process.The aforementioned studies are helpful for researchers to further explore the aging behavior of LIB under fast charging and take corresponding preventive measures. 展开更多

During high-speed flight,both thermal and mechani-cal loads can degrade the electrical performance of the antenna-radome system,which can subsequently affect the performance of the guidance system.This paper presents a method for evalu-ating the electrical performance of the radome when subjected to thermo-mechanical-electrical(TME)coupling.The method involves establishing a TME coupling model(TME-CM)based on the TME sharing mesh model(TME-SMM)generated by the tetrahedral mesh partitioning of the radome structure.The effects of dielectric temperature drift and structural deformation on the radome’s electrical performance are also considered.Firstly,the temperature field of the radome is obtained by tran-sient thermal analysis while the deformation field of the radome is obtained by static analysis.Subsequently,the dielectric varia-tion and structural deformation of the radome are accurately incorporated into the electrical simulation model based on the TME-SMM.The three-dimensional(3D)ray tracing method with the aperture integration technique is used to calculate the radome’s electrical performance.A representative example is provided to illustrate the superiority and necessity of the pro-posed method.This is achieved by calculating and analyzing the changes in the radome’s electrical performance over time dur-ing high-speed flight. 展开更多

To investigate the effect of rail pad viscoelasticity on vehicle-track-bridge coupled vibration,the fractional Voigt and Maxwell model in parallel(FVMP)was used to characterize the viscoelastic properties of the rail pad based on dynamic performance test results.The FVMP model was then incorporated into the vehicle-track-bridge nonlinear coupled model,and its dynamic response was solved using a cross-iteration algorithm with a relaxation factor.Results indicate that the nonlinear coupled model achieves good convergence when the time step is less than 0.001 s,with the cross-iteration algorithm adjusting the wheel-rail force.In particular,the best convergence is achieved when the relaxation factor is within the range of 0.3-0.5.The FVMP model effectively characterizes the viscoelasticity of rail pads across a temperature range of±20℃and a frequency range of 1-1000 Hz.The viscoelasticity of rail pads significantly affects high-frequency vibrations in the coupled system,particularly around 50 Hz,corresponding to the wheel-rail coupled resonance range.Considering rail pad viscoelasticity is essential for accurately predicting track structure vibrations. 展开更多

The probability distributions of the critical chloride concentration Cc, the chloride diffusion coefficient D, and the surface chloride concentration Cs were determined based on the collected natural exposure data. And the estimation of probability of corrosion initiation considering the coupling effects of influence factors is presented. It is found that the relative humidity and curing time are the most effective factors affecting the probability of corrosion initiation before and after 10 years of exposure time. At the same exposure time, the influence of load-induced crack and stress state on the probability of corrosion initiation is obvious, in which the effect of crack is the most one 展开更多

Combining vacuum preloading technology and electroosmosis can improve the treatment effect of soft soil foundation by utilizing the advantages of both methods.Many studies indicate that the soil electrical potential is non-linearly distributed in the treatment process by the combined method.However,in the previous theoretical study,the non-linear-distribution impacts of soil’s electrical potential on soft soil foundation treatment have not been considered.It is always assumed to be linear distribution,which is different from the experimental results.In this paper,the coupling consolidation model of this technology under the two-dimensional plane strain condition is initially established;and the well resistance effect,the vacuum load decreasing along the soil depth and the non-linear variation of electrical potential in the soil are considered.Then,the analytical solutions of the average excess pore water pressure and soil’s consolidation degree in the anode affected area are acquired based on the soil’s electrical potential distribution.Finally,the rationality of the analytical solution is testified by conducting an experimental model test,which proves the scientificity of the analytical solution.The analytical solution is adopted to better predict the dissipation of excess pore water pressure and soil consolidation degree when using the combined technology.This study can provide a reference with more accuracy for the engineering practices of this combined technology in the future. 展开更多

Coupling model for assessing anti-seepage behavior of curtain under dam foundation 被引量:1

The seepage under a dam foundation is mainly controlled by the performance of the curtain.Its anti-seepage behavior may be weakened by the long term physic-chemical actions from groundwater.According to seepage hydraulics and geochemistry theory,a coupling model for assessing the behavior of the curtain under a dam foundation is set up,which consists of seepage module,solute transport module,geochemistry module and curtain erosion module,solved by FEM.A case study was carried out.The result shows that the curtain efficiency is weakened all the time.Aqueous calcium from the curtain is always in dissolution during the stress period for simulation,which leads to the increasing amount in groundwater reaching 846.35-865.312 g/m3.Within the domain,reaction extent differs in different parts of the curtain.The dissolution of Ca(OH)2 accounts to 877.884 g/m3 near the bottom and is much higher than that of the other parts.The erosion is much more serious near the bottom of the curtain than the other parts,which is the same to the upstream and downstream.Calcium dissolution is mainly controlled by hydraulic condition and dispersion,and it varies in a non-linear way within the domain. 展开更多

A Trous algorithm of wavelet transform was used to decompose wavelet signal, and the cross-correlation analysis was used to analyze the sequence of each wavelet transform, and then the mathematical model correspond with wavelet transform sequence was established, finally wavelet random coupling model was obtained by wavelet reconstruction algorithm. Then, according to the rainfall data in crop growth period of Farm Chahayang from 1956 to 2008, the wavelet random coupling model was established to fit the model prediction test. The results showed that the prediction and fitting accuracy of the model was high, the model could reflect the rainfall variation regulation in the region, and it was a practical prediction model. It was very important for us to determine reasonably irrigation schedule and to use efficiency coefficient of precipitation resource. 展开更多

A layered modeling method is proposed to resolve the problems resulting from the complexity of the error model of a multi-axis motion control system. In this model, a low level layer can be used as a virtual axis by the high level layer. The first advantage of this model is that the complex error model of a four-axis motion control system can be divided into several simple layers and each layer has different coupling strength to match the real control system. The second advantage lies in the fact that the controller in each layer can be designed specifically for a certain purpose. In this research, a three-layered cross coupling scheme in a four-axis motion control system is proposed to compensate the contouring error of the motion control system. Simulation results show that the maximum contouring error is reduced from 0.208 mm to 0.022 mm and the integration of absolute error is reduced from 0.108 mm to 0.015 mm, which are respectively better than 0.027 mm and 0.037 mm by the traditional method. And in the bottom layer the proposed method also has remarkable ability to achieve high contouring accuracy. 展开更多

本文基于观测和再分析资料,采用Brubaker二元模型评估了第六次国际耦合模式比较计划(CMIP6)中19个模式对中国东部季风区气候态水循环过程的模拟能力,并分析了模拟误差来源。结果表明,CMIP6模式集合平均(MME)能够合理再现观测降水和蒸发... 本文基于观测和再分析资料,采用Brubaker二元模型评估了第六次国际耦合模式比较计划(CMIP6)中19个模式对中国东部季风区气候态水循环过程的模拟能力,并分析了模拟误差来源。结果表明,CMIP6模式集合平均(MME)能够合理再现观测降水和蒸发的年平均气候态空间分布及年循环特征,与观测值的空间相关系数分别为0.92和0.87。较之观测,MME高估了华北地区降水(0.55 mm d^(−1)),低估了华南沿海地区降水(−0.3 mm d^(−1))。所有CMIP6模式均高估蒸发强度(偏差0.03~0.98 mm d^(−1)),使得模拟的降水与蒸发之差偏少。模式整体能够模拟出我国东部季风区降水再循环率及不同边界水汽来源的贡献率,但低估了由南边界进入季风区的水汽贡献,导致东亚季风区偏干。通过分析模式对影响水汽通量的两个气象要素(风速和大气比湿)的模拟能力,发现研究区南边界的风速大小决定了模式间水汽输送差异。南边界风速越大的模式,由南边界进入的水汽通量越大,模式模拟的降水越多。西北太平洋辐合带的东西位置是影响南边界南风速的重要系统之一,辐合带位置偏东的模式模拟的南风强度较弱,使得水汽输送偏弱、降水偏少;反之,南边界水汽输送偏强、降水偏多。本文通过评估最新一代CMIP6模式在东亚水循环方面的模拟性能,指出了当前气候模式在模拟西太平洋辐合带位置方面存在的偏差及其对东亚水循环的影响。 展开更多

Cemented tailings backfill(CTB) is made by mixing cement, tailings and water together, thus cement hydration and water seepage flow are the two crucial factors affecting the quality of CTB. Cement hydration process can release significant amount of heat to raise the temperature of CTB and in turn increase the rate of cement hydration. Meanwhile, the progress of cement hydration consumes water and produces hydration products to change the pore structures within CTB, which further influences the hydraulic behavior of CTB. In order to understand the hydraulic behavior of CTB, a numerical model was developed by coupling the hydraulic,thermal and hydration equations. This model was then implemented into COMSOL Multiphysics to simulate the evolutions of temperature and water seepage flow within CTB versus curing time. The predicted outcomes were compared with correspondent experimental results, proving the validity and availability of this model. By taking advantage of the validated model, effects of various initial CTB and curing temperatures, cement content, and CTB's geometric shapes on the hydraulic behavior of CTB were demonstrated numerically. The presented conclusions can contribute to preparing more environmentally friendly CTB structures. 展开更多

The topography of gear meshing interfaces is one of the key factors affecting the dynamic characteristics of the gear transmission system.In order to obtain the contact characteristics of meshing gear pair with different surface micro-topographies,an interface feature model and a tribo-dynamics coupling model for the gear system are proposed in this paper.The effects of the gear tooth surface micro-topography on the oil film distribution,contact damping and friction are considered.The time-varying meshing stiffness and the static transmission error are included in the abovementioned models.An exemplary gear pair is analyzed using the proposed models to investigate the influence of the surface micro-topography on the dynamic characteristics of gear system under different micro-topographies and input torque conditions.Simulation results show that the effects of gear tooth micro-topography on the gear dynamic responses(including the friction and the vicious damping at the gear meshing interface and the vibration in the direction of offline of action)are highly dependent on the regularity of tooth surface.The vibration and noise can be significantly controlled by manufacturing a regular gear tooth profiles instead of random profiles. 展开更多

A coupled thermo-hydro-mechanical-migratory model of dual-porosity medium for saturated-unsaturated ubiquitous-joint rockmass was established,in which the stress field and the temperature field were single,but the seepage field and the concentration field were double,and the influences of sets,spaces,angles,continuity ratios,stiffnesses of fractures on the constitutive relationship of the medium were considered.Also,the relative two-dimensional program of finite element method was developed.Taking a hypothetical nuclear waste repository as a calculation example,the case in which the rockmass was unsaturated dual-porosity medium and radioactive nuclide leak was simulated numerically,and the temperatures,negative pore pressures,saturations,flow velocities,nuclide concentrations and principal stresses in the rockmass were investigated.The results show that the negative pore pressures and nuclide concentrations in the porosity and fracture present different changes and distributions.Even though the saturation degree in porosity is only about 1/10 that in fracture,the flow velocity of underground water in fracture is about three times that in porosity because the permeability coefficient of fracture is almost four orders higher than that of porosity.The value of nuclide concentration in fracture is close to that in porosity. 展开更多

Effects of working parameters on performance characteristics of hydrostatic turntable are researched by applying the fluid-structure-thermal coupled model.Fluid-structure interaction(FSI)technique and computational fluid dynamics(CFD)method are both employed by this new model,and thermal effects are also considered.Hydrostatic turntable systems with a series of oil supply pressures,various oil recess depth and several surface roughness parameters are studied.Performance parameters,such as turntable displacement,system flow rate,temperature rise of lubrication,stiffness and damping coefficients,are derived from different working parameters(rotational speed of turntable and exerted external load)of the hydrostatic turntable.Numerical results obtained from this FSI-thermal model are presented and discussed,and theoretical predictions are in good agreement with the experimental data.Therefore,this developed model is a very useful tool for studying hydrostatic turntables.The calculation results show that in order to obtain better performance,a rational selection of the design parameters is essential. 展开更多

A relative position and attitude coupled sliding mode controller is proposed by combining the standard super twisting (ST) control and basic linear algorithm for autonomous rendezvous and docking. It is schemed for on-orbit servicing to a tumbling non- cooperative target spacecraft subjected to external disturbances. A coupled dynamic model is established including both kinemati- cal and dynamic coupled effect of relative rotation on relative translation, which illustrates the relative movement between the docking port located in target spacecraft and another in service spacecraft. The modified super twisting (MST) control algorithm containing linear compensation items is schemed to manipulate the relative position and attitude synchronously. The correction provides more robustness and convergence velocity for dealing with linearly growing perturbations than the ST control algorithm. Moreover, the stability characteristic of closed-loop system is ana- lyzed by Lyapunov method. Numerical simulations are adopted to verify the analysis with the comparison between MST and ST control algorithms. Simulation results demonstrate that the pro- posed MST controller is characterized by high precision, strong robustness and fast convergence velocity to attenuate the linearly increasing perturbations. 展开更多
