As such, the classical initial-boundary value problem for the Terzaghi one-dimensional consolidation equation is not well-posed. Moreover, the classical boundary conditions of the equation can only be applied to problems with either perfectly pervious or perfectly impervious boundaries. General boundary conditions are proposed to overcome these shortcomings and thus transfer the solution of the Terzaghi one-dimensional consolidation equation to a well-posed initial boundary value problem. The solution for proposed general boundary conditions is validated by comparing it to the classical solution. The actual field drainage conditions can be simulated by adjusting the values of parameters b and c given in the proposed general botmdary conditions. For relatively high coefficient of consolidation, just one term in series expansions is enough to obtain results with acceptable accuracy.展开更多

The fully coupled problem is addressed with our own unsteady RANS solver: naoe-FOAM-SJTU developed based on the open source tool librar- ies of OpenFOAM. The internal tank sloshing and external wave flow are solved simultaneously. The FPSO model includes 2 LNG tanks. For the ship 3-DOFs are released in the regular beam waves. The filling ratios of the 2 tanks are 20% - 20%, lower than the external free surface. This kind of low-filling condition reduces ship roll motion significantly, and produces complex free surface shapes in tanks. 4 different incident wave frequencies are considered in the simulation in comparison with the existing experimental data. The comparison shows that the numerical re- sults are in good agreement with the experimental data, proving the reliability of the proposed method. The filling conditions with large wave amplitudes are studied further, and due to the coupling effect, violent sloshing occurs in tanks and impulsive pressure forms on bulkhead.展开更多

The nonlinear trajectory tracking control system of a new AUV in complex sea conditions was presented. According to the theory of submarines, the six-DOF kinematic and dynamic models were decomposed into two mutually non-coupled vertical and horizontal plane subsystems. Then, different sliding mode control algorithms were used to study the trajectory tracking control. Because the yaw angle and yaw angle rate rather than the displacement of the new AUV can be measured directly on the horizontal plane, the sliding mode control algorithm combining cross track error method and line of sight method was used to fulfill its high-precision trajectory tracking control in the complex sea conditions. As the vertical displacement of the new AUV can be measured,in order to achieve the tracking of time-varying depth signal,a stable sliding mode controller was designed based on the single-input multi-state system, which took into account the characteristic of the hydroplane and the amplitude and rate constraints of the hydroplane angle. Moreover, the application of dynamic boundary layer can improve the robustness and control accuracy of the system. The computational results show that the designed sliding mode control systems of the horizontal and vertical planes can ensure the trajectory tracking performance and accuracy of the new AUV in complex sea conditions. The impacts of currents and waves on the sliding mode controller of the new AUV were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively by comparing the trajectory tracking performance of the new AUV in different sea conditions, which provides an effective theoretical guidance and technical support for the control system design of the new AUV in real complex environment.展开更多

Two flow problems corresponding to the planar and axisymmetric stretching/shrinking sheet were considered. By means of similarity transformations, the obtained resultant nonlinear ordinary differential equations were solved numerically using a shooting method for dual solutions of velocity and temperature profiles. Some important physical features of the flow and heat transfer in terms of the fluid velocity, the temperature distribution, the skin friction coefficient and the local Nusselt number for various values of the controlling governing parameters like velocity slip parameter, critical shear rate, magnetic field, ratio of stretching/shrinking rate to external flow rate and Prandtl number were analyzed and discussed. An increase of the critical shear rate decreases the fluid velocity whereas the local Nusselt number increases. The comparison of the present numerical results with the existing literature in a limiting case is given and found to be in an excellent agreement.展开更多

The comparison of the present numerical results with the existing literature in a limiting case is given and found to be in an excellent agreement.

文摘In the experiment, the brown rice whose moisture content was 12.5% was used as raw material. The brown rice was grouped, then moisturized differently and milled. While milling, the energy consumption, the rate of broken rice and the crack rate were tested. It is confirmed that the stress crack owing to the moisture added to the brown rice can be avoided when the moisture amount added once is limited to no more than 1.5%. It is also proved that the energy consumption can be reduced, the yielding rate of rice can be increased and that the quality of rice can be improved.

文摘Iron sulfide minerals are widely distributed, of which characteristics had the identification significance of formation environment. Previously, there were more research on iron sulfide minerals under hydrothermal condition, and few studies under volcanism formation condition. To simulate volcanic mineralization, the study of different temperature from 250 to 410℃ , different iron sulfur ratio from Fe:S=2∶1 to 1∶8, and two different sources of iron, reduced iron powder (Fe) and ferrous sulfide (FeS), on iron sulfide mineral evolution was investigated under thermal sulfurization condition. By using scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and other methods, the morphology, composition and structural characteristics of the products were observed and analyzed.

文摘Conventional feature description methods have large errors in froth features due to the fact that the image during the zinc flotation process of froth flotation is dynamic, and the existing image features rarely have time series information.Based on the conventional froth size distribution characteristics, this paper proposes a size trend core feature(STCF)considering the froth size distribution,i.e.,a feature centered on the time series of the froth size distribution. The core features of the trend are extracted, the inter-frame change factor and the inter-frame stability factor are given and two calculation methods of the feature factors are proposed.Meanwhile, the STCF feature algorithm was established based on the core features by adding the inter-frame change factor and the inter-frame stability factor. Finally,a flotation condition recognition model based on BP neural network was established. The experiments show that the recognition model has achieved excellent results, proving that the method proposed effectively overcomes the limitation of the lack of dynamic information in the existing traditional size distribution features and the introduction of the two factors can improve the classification accuracy to varying degrees.
文摘In this paper,we have numerically examined the steady boundary layer of a viscous incompressible nanofluid and its heat and mass transfers above a horizontal flat sheet. The boundary conditions considered were a nonlinear magnetic field,a nonlinear velocity and convection.Such nonlinearity in hydrodynamic and heat transfer boundary conditions and also in the magnetic field has not been addressed with the great details in the literature. In this investigation, both the Brownian motion and thermophoretic diffusion have been considered.A similarity solution is achieved and the resulting ordinary differential equations (nonlinear) are worked numerically out.Upon validation, the following hydrodynamic and heat and mass transfers parameters were found:the reduced Sherwood and Nusselt numbers, the reduced skin friction coefficient, and the temperature and nanoparticle volume fraction profiles. All these parameters are found affected by the Lewis,Biot and Prandtl numbers, the stretching, thermophoretic diffusion,Brownian motion and magnetic parameters. The detailed trends observed in this paper are carefully analyzed to provide useful design suggestions.

文摘Structural health monitoring is widely utilized in outdoor environments, especially under harsh conditions, which can introduce noise into the monitoring system. Therefore, designing an effective denoising strategy to enhance the performance of guided wave damage detection in noisy environments is crucial. This paper introduces a local temporal principal component analysis(PCA)reconstruction approach for denoising guided waves prior to implementing unsupervised damage detection, achieved through novel autoencoder-based reconstruction.Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed denoising method significantly enhances damage detection performance when guided waves are contaminated by noise, with SNR values ranging from 10 to-5 dB.Following the implementation of the proposed denoising approach, the AUC score can elevate from 0.65 to 0.96 when dealing with guided waves corrputed by noise at a level of-5 dB.Additionally, the paper provides guidance on selecting the appropriate number of components used in the denoising PCA reconstruction, aiding in the optimization of the damage detection in noisy conditions.
