Random Coefficient-Moving Product Based Wireless Key Generation

The physical layer key generation technique provides an efficient method,which utilizes the natural dynamics of wireless channel.However,there are some extremely challenging security scenarios such as static or quasi-static environment,which lead to the low randomness of generated keys.Meanwhile,the coefficients of the static channel may be dropped into the guard space and discarded by the quantization approach,which causes low key generation rate.To tackle these issues,we propose a random coefficient-moving product based wireless key generation scheme(RCMP-WKG),where new random resources with remarkable fluctuations can be obtained by applying random coefficient and by moving product on the legitimate nodes.Furthermore,appropriate quantization approaches are used to increase the key generation rate.Moreover,the security of our proposed scheme is evaluated by analyzing different attacks and the eavesdropper’s mean square error(MSE).The simulation results reveal that the proposed scheme can achieve better performances in key capacity,key inconsistency rate(KIR)and key generation rate(KGR)compared with the prior works in static environment.Besides,the proposed scheme can deteriorate the MSE performance of the eavesdropper and improve the key generation performance of legitimate nodes by controlling the length of the moving product. 展开更多

Molecular dynamics evaluation of self-diffusion coefficients in two-dimensional dusty plasmas

We employ the Green–Kubo(G-K)and Einstein relations to estimate the self-diffusion coefficients(denoted as D_(G)and D_(E),respectively)in two-dimensional(2D)strongly coupled dusty plasmas(SC-DPs)via equilibrium molecular dynamics(EMD)simulations.D_(G)and D_(E)are computed for a broad domain of screening length(κ)and coupling parameters(Г)along with different system sizes.It is observed that both D_(G)and D_(E)decrease linearly with increasing G in warm liquid states and increase with increasingκ.In cold liquid states,the Einstein relation accurately predicts D_(E)in 2D SC-DPs because diffusion motion is close to normal diffusion,but the G-K relation provides overestimations of D_(G),because VACF indicates anomalous diffusion;thus,D_(G)is not accurate.Our new simulation outcomes reveal that D_(G)and D_(E)remain independent of system sizes.Furthermore,our investigations demonstrate that at higher temperatures,D_(G)and D_(E)converge,suggesting diffusion motion close to normal diffusion,while at lower temperatures,these two values diverge.We find reasonable agreement by comparing current and existing numerical,theoretical and experimental data.Moreover,when normalizing diffusion coefficients by the Einstein frequency and testing against the universal temperature scaling law,D_(G)deviates from theoretical curves at low temperatures and k,whereas D_(E)only disagrees with theory at very smallκ(■0.10).These findings provide valuable insight into diagnosing dust component parameters within 2D DP systems and contribute to the broader understanding of diffusion processes in DP environments. 展开更多

Many experiments have demonstrated that resonant magnetic perturbation(RMP) can affect the turbulent transport at the edge of the tokamak. Through the Experimental Advanced Superconducting Tokamak(EAST) density modulation experiment, the particle transport coefficients were calculated using the experimental data, and the result shows that the particle transport coefficients increase with RMP. In this study, the six-field two-fluid model in BOUT++ is used to simulate the transport before and after density pump-out induced by RMP,respectively referred as the case without RMP and the case with RMP. In the linear simulations,the instabilities generally decreases for cases with RMP. In the nonlinear simulation, ELM only appears in the case without RMP. Additionally, the particle transport coefficient was analyzed,and the result shows that the particle transport coefficient becomes larger for the case with RMP,which is consistent with the experimental conclusion. Moreover, its magnitude is comparable to the results calculated from experimental data. 展开更多

The medium-temperature T dependence of the jet transport coefficient̂q was studied via the nuclear modification factor RAA(p_(T))and elliptical flow parameter v_(2)(p_(T))for large transverse momentum p_(T) hadrons in high-energy nucleus-nucleus collisions.Within a next-to-leading-order perturbative QCD parton model for hard scatterings with modified fragmentation functions due to jet quenching controlled by q,we check the suppression and azimuthal anisotropy for large p_(T) hadrons,and extract q by global fits to RAA(pT)and v_(2)(pT)data in A+A collisions at RHIC and LHC,respectively.The numerical results from the best fits show that q∕T^(3) goes down with local medium-temperature T in the parton jet trajectory.Compared with the case of a constant q∕T^(3),the going-down T dependence of q∕T^(3) makes a hard parton jet to lose more energy near T_(c) and therefore strengthens the azimuthal anisotropy for large pT hadrons.As a result,v_(2)(p_(T))for large pT hadrons was enhanced by approximately 10%to better fit the data at RHIC/LHC.Considering the first-order phase transition from QGP to the hadron phase and the additional energy loss in the hadron phase,v_(2)(p_(T))is again enhanced by 5-10%at RHIC/LHC. 展开更多

The rise in breast cancer diagnoses among Chinese women has necessitated the use of X-ray breast screening,which carries a radiation risk.This study aimed to provide a dosimetry protocol for the Chinese female population to replace the traditional standard that utilizes simplified breast models,for the accurate estimation of the mean glandular dose of a patient undergoing digital breast tomosynthesis(DBT).The first set of detailed Chinese female breast models and representative breast parameters was constructed.Considering backscatter radiation and computational efficiency,we improved the combination of these models and the Chinese reference adult female whole-body voxel phantom.Image acquisition for four commercial DBT systems that are widely employed in China was simulated using the Monte Carlo method to obtain the normalized glandular dose coefficients of DBT(D_(gN)^(DBT))and the glandular depth dose(D_(g)^(dep)(z))for different breast characteristics and X-ray spectra.We calculated a series of D_(gN)^(DBT) values for breasts with different percentage mass glandularities(5%,25%,50%,75%,and 100%)and compressed breast thicknesses(2,3,4,5,6,and 7 cm)at various tube potentials(25,28,30,32,35,and 49 kV)and target/filter combinations(W/Rh,W/Al,Mo/Mo,Rh/Rh,and Rh/Ag).The parameter dependence of the breast characteristics and beam conditions on D_(gN)^(DBT) in detailed breast models was investigated.The D_(gN)^(DBT) results were 14.6-51.0%lower than those of the traditional dosimetry standard in China.The difference in D_(gN)^(DBT) was mainly due to a decrease in the depth of the main energy deposition area caused by the glandular distribution along the depth direction.The results obtained in this study may be used to improve breast dosimetry in China and provide more detailed information on risk assessment during DBT. 展开更多

[Introduction] Accurate calculation of the hydrodynamic coefficients for floating structures and the investigation of the flow field distribution around floating bodies on the marine free surface are essential for improving the engineering design and application of marine structures.[Method] This study utilized the computational fluid dynamics(CFD) approach and the Reynolds Averaged NavierStokes(RANS) method and considered the effects of viscosity and free surface interactions on the hydrodynamic behavior of floating structures.By employing the dynamic mesh technique,this study simulated the periodic movements of simplified three-dimensional(3D)shapes:spheres,cylinders,and cubes,which were representative of complex marine structures.The volume of fluid(VOF) method was leveraged to accurately track the nonlinear behavior of the free surface.In this analysis,the added mass and damping coefficients for the fundamental modes of motion(surge,heave,and roll) were calculated across a spectrum of frequencies,facilitating the fast determination of hydrodynamic forces and moments exerted on floating structures.[Result] The results of this study are not only consistent with the results of the 3D potential flow theory but also further reflect the role of viscosity.This method can be used for precise calculation of the hydrodynamic coefficients of floating structures and for describing the flow field of such structures in motion on a free surface.[Conclusion] The methodology presented goes beyond the traditional potential flow approach. 展开更多

The traditional model selection criterions try to make a balance between fitted error and model complexity. Assumptions on the distribution of the response or the noise, which may be misspecified, should be made before using the traditional ones. In this ar- ticle, we give a new model selection criterion, based on the assumption that noise term in the model is independent with explanatory variables, of minimizing the association strength between regression residuals and the response, with fewer assumptions. Maximal Information Coe^cient (MIC), a recently proposed dependence measure, captures a wide range of associ- ations, and gives almost the same score to different type of relationships with equal noise, so MIC is used to measure the association strength. Furthermore, partial maximal information coefficient (PMIC) is introduced to capture the association between two variables removing a third controlling random variable. Quantitative inversion of fracture weakness plays an important role in fracture prediction.Considering reservoirs with a set of vertical fractures as horizontal transversely isotropic media,the logarithmic normalized azimuthal elastic impedance(EI)is rewritten in terms of Fourier coefficients(FCs),the 90°ambiguity in the azimuth estimation of the symmetry axis is resolved by judging the sign of the second FC,and we choose the FCs with the highest sensitivity to fracture weakness and present a feasible inversion workflow for fracture weakness,which involves:(1)the inversion for azimuthal EI datasets from observed azimuthal angle gathers;(2)the prediction for the second FCs and azimuth of the symmetry axis from the estimated azimuthal EI datasets;and(3)the estimation of fracture weakness combining the extracted second FCs and azimuth of the symmetry axis iteratively,which is constrained utilizing the Cauchy sparse regularization and the low-frequency regularization in a Bayesian framework.Tests on synthetic and field data demonstrate that the 90°ambiguity in the azimuth estimation of the symmetry axis has been removed,and reliable fracture weakness can be obtained when the estimated azimuth of the symmetry axis deviates less than 30°,which can guide the prediction of fractured reservoirs. 展开更多

The electron swarm parameters including the density-normalized effective ionization coefficients(α-η)/N and the electron drift velocities V e are calculated for a gas mixture of CF3I with N2 and CO2 by solving the Boltzmann equation in the condition of a steady-state Townsend(SST) experiment.The overall density-reduced electric field strength is from 100 Td to 1000 Td(1 Td = 10-17V·cm2),while the CF3I content k in the gas mixture can be varied over the range from 0% to 100%.From the variation of(αη)/N with the CF3I mixture ratio k,the limiting field strength(E/N) lim for each CF3I concentration is derived.It is found that for the mixtures with 70% CF3I,the values of(E/N) lim are essentially the same as that for pure SF 6.Additionally,the global warming potential(GWP) and the liquefaction temperature of the gas mixtures are also taken into account to evaluate the possibility of application in the gas insulation of power equipment. 展开更多

The mass attenuation coefficients(l/q) for different parts(root, flower, stem, and leaf) of three medicinal aromatic plants(Teucrium chamaedrys L. subsp. sinuatum,Rheum ribes, and Chrysophthalmum montanum) were measured using an ^(241)Am photon source in a stable geometry and calculated using the Monte Carlo N-Particle Transport Code System-extended(MCNPX) code and the WinXCOM program. The experimental and theoretical MCNPX and WinXCOM values exhibited good agreement.The measured mass attenuation coefficient values were then used to compute the effective atomic number(Z_(eff))and electron density(N_E) of the samples. The results reveal that S1-S(stem of Teucrium chamaedrys L. subsp. sinuatum) has the highest values of l/q and Zeff. 展开更多

Linearized approximations of reflection and transmission coefficients set a foundation for amplitude versus offset(AVO) analysis and inversion in exploration geophysics.However,the weak properties contrast hypothesis of those linearized approximate equations leads to big errors when the two media across the interface vary dramatically.To extend the application of AVO analysis and inversion to high contrast between the properties of the two layers,we derive a novel nonlinearized high-contrast approximation of the PP-wave reflection coefficient,which establishes the direct relationship between PPwave reflection coefficient and P-wave velocities,S-wave velocities and densities across the interface.(A PP wave is a reflected compressional wave from an incident compressional wave(P-wave).) This novel approximation is derived from the exact reflection coefficient equation with Taylor expansion for the incident angle.Model tests demonstrate that,compared with the reflection coefficients of the linearized approximations,the reflection coefficients of the novel nonlinearized approximate equation agree with those of the exact PP equation better for a high contrast interface with a moderate incident angle.Furthermore,we introduce a nonlinear direct inversion method utilizing the novel reflection coefficient equation as forward solver,to implement the direct inversion for the six parameters including P-wave velocities,S-wave velocities,and densities in the upper and lower layers across the interface.This nonlinear inversion algorithm is able to estimate the inverse of the nonlinear function in terms of model parameters directly rather than in a conventional optimization way.Three examples verified the feasibility and suitability of this novel approximation for a high contrast interface,and we still could estimate the six parameters across the interface reasonably when the parameters in both media across the interface vary about 50%. 展开更多
