An adaptive immune-genetic algorithm (AIGA) is proposed to avoid premature convergence and guarantee the diversity of the population. Rapid immune response (secondary response), adaptive mutation and density operators in the AIGA are emphatically designed to improve the searching ability, greatly increase the converging speed, and decrease locating the local maxima due to the premature convergence. The simulation results obtained from the global optimization to four multivariable and multi-extreme functions show that AIGA converges rapidly, guarantees the diversity, stability and good searching ability. 展开更多

During the last decade, many variants of the original particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm have been proposed for global numerical optimization, hut they usually face many challenges such as low solution quality and slow convergence speed on multimodal function optimization. A composite particle swarm optimization (CPSO) for solving these difficulties is presented, in which a novel learning strategy plus an assisted search mechanism framework is used. Instead of simple learning strategy of the original PSO, the proposed CPSO combines one particle's historical best information and the global best information into one learning exemplar to guide the particle movement. The proposed learning strategy can reserve the original search information and lead to faster convergence speed. The proposed assisted search mechanism is designed to look for the global optimum. Search direction of particles can be greatly changed by this mechanism so that the algorithm has a large chance to escape from local optima. In order to make the assisted search mechanism more efficient and the algorithm more reliable, the executive probability of the assisted search mechanism is adjusted by the feedback of the improvement degree of optimal value after each iteration. According to the result of numerical experiments on multimodal benchmark functions such as Schwefel, Rastrigin, Ackley and Griewank both with and without coordinate rotation, the proposed CPSO offers faster convergence speed, higher quality solution and stronger robustness than other variants of PSO. 展开更多

Ant colony optimization(ACO)is a random search algorithm based on probability calculation.However,the uninformed search strategy has a slow convergence speed.The Bayesian algorithm uses the historical information of the searched point to determine the next search point during the search process,reducing the uncertainty in the random search process.Due to the ability of the Bayesian algorithm to reduce uncertainty,a Bayesian ACO algorithm is proposed in this paper to increase the convergence speed of the conventional ACO algorithm for image edge detection.In addition,this paper has the following two innovations on the basis of the classical algorithm,one of which is to add random perturbations after completing the pheromone update.The second is the use of adaptive pheromone heuristics.Experimental results illustrate that the proposed Bayesian ACO algorithm has faster convergence and higher precision and recall than the traditional ant colony algorithm,due to the improvement of the pheromone utilization rate.Moreover,Bayesian ACO algorithm outperforms the other comparative methods in edge detection task. 展开更多

In the SOA, search direction is based on empir- ical gradients by evaluating the response to the position changes, while step length is based on uncertainty reasoning by using a simple fuzzy rule. The effectiveness of the SOA is evaluated by using a challenging set of typically complex functions in compari- son to differential evolution (DE) and three modified particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithms. This method includes three steps: the first step is adopting the MAKLINK graph theory to establish the free space model of the mobile robot, the second step is adopting the improved Dijkstra algorithm to find out a sub-optimal collision-free path, and the third step is using the ant system algorithm to adjust and optimize the location of the sub-optimal path so as to generate the global optimal path for the mobile robot. The computer simulation experiment was carried out and the results show that this method is correct and effective. The comparison of the results confirms that the proposed method is better than the hybrid genetic algorithm in the global optimal path planning. 展开更多

By combing the properties of chaos optimization method and genetic algorithm,an adaptive mutative scale chaos genetic algorithm(AMSCGA) was proposed by using one-dimensional iterative chaotic self-map with infinite collapses within the finite region of [-1,1].Some measures in the optimization algorithm,such as adjusting the searching space of optimized variables continuously by using adaptive mutative scale method and making the most circle time as its control guideline,were taken to ensure its speediness and veracity in seeking the optimization process.The calculation examples about three testing functions reveal that AMSCGA has both high searching speed and high precision.Furthermore,the average truncated generations,the distribution entropy of truncated generations and the ratio of average inertia generations were used to evaluate the optimization efficiency of AMSCGA quantificationally.It is shown that the optimization efficiency of AMSCGA is higher than that of genetic algorithm. 展开更多

Chaos ergodicity is used to initialize the population, and chaotic anneal mutation operator is used as the substitute for the mutation operator in SGA. CAGA is a unified framework of the existing chaotic mutation methods. To validate the proposed algorithm, three algorithms, i. e. Baum-Welch, SGA and CAGA, are compared on training hidden Markov model (HMM) to recognize the hand gestures. Experiments on twenty-six alphabetical gestures show the CAGA validity. 展开更多

A new hybrid optimization algorithm was presented by integrating the gravitational search algorithm (GSA) with the sequential quadratic programming (SQP), namely GSA-SQP, for solving global optimization problems and minimization of factor of safety in slope stability analysis. The new algorithm combines the global exploration ability of the GSA to converge rapidly to a near optimum solution. In addition, it uses the accurate local exploitation ability of the SQP to accelerate the search process and find an accurate solution. A set of five well-known benchmark optimization problems was used to validate the performance of the GSA-SQP as a global optimization algorithm and facilitate comparison with the classical GSA. In addition, the effectiveness of the proposed method for slope stability analysis was investigated using three ease studies of slope stability problems from the literature. The factor of safety of earth slopes was evaluated using the Morgenstern-Price method. The numerical experiments demonstrate that the hybrid algorithm converges faster to a significantly more accurate final solution for a variety of benchmark test functions and slope stability problems. 展开更多

A novel immune genetic algorithm with the elitist selection and elitist crossover was proposed, which is called the immune genetic algorithm with the elitism (IGAE). In IGAE, the new methods for computing antibody similarity, expected reproduction probability, and clonal selection probability were given. IGAE has three features. The first is that the similarities of two antibodies in structure and quality are all defined in the form of percentage, which helps to describe the similarity of two antibodies more accurately and to reduce the computational burden effectively. The second is that with the elitist selection and elitist crossover strategy IGAE is able to find the globally optimal solution of a given problem. The third is that the formula of expected reproduction probability of antibody can be adjusted through a parameter r, which helps to balance the population diversity and the convergence speed of IGAE so that IGAE can find the globally optimal solution of a given problem more rapidly. Two different complex multi-modal functions were selected to test the validity of IGAE. The experimental results show that IGAE can find the globally maximum/minimum values of the two functions rapidly. The experimental results also confirm that IGAE is of better performance in convergence speed, solution variation behavior, and computational efficiency compared with the canonical genetic algorithm with the elitism and the immune genetic algorithm with the information entropy and elitism. 展开更多

Based on the ergodicity and inherentrandomness of chaos, the main characteristic of the new algorithm which includes two phases is that chaotic behavior is exploited to conduct a rough search of the problem space in order to find the promising individuals in Phase I. Adjustment strategy of steplength and intensive searches in Phase II are employed. The population sequences generated by the algorithm asymptotically converge to global optimal solutions with probability one. The proposed algorithm is applied to several typical test problems. Numerical results illustrate that this algorithm can more efficiently solve complex global optimization problems than evolutionary programming and evolution strategies in most cases. 展开更多

A fast global convergence algorithm, small-world optimization (SWO), was designed to solve the global optimization problems, which was inspired from small-world theory and six degrees of separation principle in sociology. Firstly, the solution space was organized into a small-world network model based on social relationship network. Secondly, a simple search strategy was adopted to navigate into this network in order to realize the optimization. In SWO, the two operators for searching the short-range contacts and long-range contacts in small-world network were corresponding to the exploitation and exploration, which have been revealed as the common features in many intelligent algorithms. The proposed algorithm was validated via popular benchmark functions and engineering problems. And also the impacts of parameters were studied. The simulation results indicate that because of the small-world theory, it is suitable for heuristic methods to search targets efficiently in this constructed small-world network model. It is not easy for each test mail to fall into a local trap by shifting into two mapping spaces in order to accelerate the convergence speed. Compared with some classical algorithms, SWO is inherited with optimal features and outstanding in convergence speed. Thus, the algorithm can be considered as a good alternative to solve global optimization problems. 展开更多

With the development of information technology,a large number of product quality data in the entire manufacturing process is accumulated,but it is not explored and used effectively.The traditional product quality prediction models have many disadvantages,such as high complexity and low accuracy.To overcome the above problems,we propose an optimized data equalization method to pre-process dataset and design a simple but effective product quality prediction model:radial basis function model optimized by the firefly algorithm with Levy flight mechanism(RBFFALM).First,the new data equalization method is introduced to pre-process the dataset,which reduces the dimension of the data,removes redundant features,and improves the data distribution.Then the RBFFALFM is used to predict product quality.Comprehensive expe riments conducted on real-world product quality datasets validate that the new model RBFFALFM combining with the new data pre-processing method outperforms other previous me thods on predicting product quality. 展开更多

This paper proposes an optimization algorithm based on a multi-loop control system with a neural network controller,in which the objective function that is used is the control plant of each sub-control system.To obtain the global optimization solution from a control plant that has many local minimum points,a transformation function is presented.On the one hand,this approach changes a complex objective function into a simple function under the condition of an unchanged globally optimal solution,to find the global optimization solution more easily by using a multi-loop control system.On the other hand,a special neural network(in which the node function can be simply positioned locally)that is composed of multiple transformation functions is used as the controller,which reduces the possibility of falling into local minimum points.At the same time,a filled function is presented as a control law;it can jump out of a local minimum point and move to another local minimum point that has a smaller value of the objective function.Finally,18 simulation examples are provided to show the effectiveness of the proposed method. 展开更多

目前以新能源汽车电驱系统等为代表的超高转速运行场景越来越多,对轴承类关键零部件的性能要求也不断提高,对轴承的承载性能和温升控制也提出了更高的要求。为了优化轴承的结构,提升其服役性能,以新能源汽车电驱系统6206轴承为例,提出... 目前以新能源汽车电驱系统等为代表的超高转速运行场景越来越多,对轴承类关键零部件的性能要求也不断提高,对轴承的承载性能和温升控制也提出了更高的要求。为了优化轴承的结构,提升其服役性能,以新能源汽车电驱系统6206轴承为例,提出了一种基于多目标粒子群-遗传混合算法的球轴承结构优化设计方法。首先,建立了以轴承最大额定动载荷、最大额定静载荷和最小摩擦生热率为目标函数的优化数学模型;然后,利用多目标粒子群算法(MOPSO)的全局搜索能力和改进非支配排序遗传算法(NSGA-II)的进化操作,引入粒子寻优速度控制策略、交叉变异策略和罚函数机制,解决了带约束优化问题求解和局部最优问题,增强了算法的收敛速度和解集探索能力;最后,在特定工况下对轴承结构进行了优化,采用层次分析法,从Pareto前沿中优选了内外圈沟曲率半径系数、滚动体数量、滚动体直径和节圆直径的最优值。研究结果表明:在16 kN径向载荷、15 000 r/min的高转速工况下,以新能源汽车电驱系统6206型深沟球轴承为例进行了分析,结果显示,优化后的轴承接触应力下降了21.2%,应变下降了25.6%,摩擦生热下降了16.7%,体现了该方法在收敛性能、寻优速度等方面的优势。该优化设计方法可为球轴承的工程应用提供有价值的参考。 展开更多

质量交换网络是过程系统高效经济回收污染物或杂质的重要途径,其中组分浓度的小尺度特征对于其求解域和全局优化性能存在一定限制。基于质量传递和能量传递比拟理论,本文假设了单位高度塔板提供有效传质的塔板质量,建立了非连续传质的... 质量交换网络是过程系统高效经济回收污染物或杂质的重要途径,其中组分浓度的小尺度特征对于其求解域和全局优化性能存在一定限制。基于质量传递和能量传递比拟理论,本文假设了单位高度塔板提供有效传质的塔板质量,建立了非连续传质的板式塔和广义换热器的比拟关系;在此基础上,将小尺度质量交换网络比拟为广义换热网络,进而采用节点非结构模型和强制进化随机游走算法对广义换热网络进行全局优化;最后,将优化所得的广义换热网络回归为质量交换网络,使其满足传质可行性约束。算例分析表明,该方法可有效拓展质量交换网络搜索空间,提升流股匹配的多样性和全局优化性能。同时,灵活调整比拟尺度和协调系数能够进一步丰富优化路径,提升最优解的质量,获得了R2S3算例和R2S2算例优于文献最优的结构。 展开更多

针对在不确定性扰动下光电稳定平台高精度控制问题,使用改进自抗扰控制器对系统进行控制。对扩张状态观测器中fal函数进行改进得到MIAfal函数。首先,将稳定平台速度输出变化和速度输出误差信号加入fal函数,根据扰动和误差大小调整增益,... 针对在不确定性扰动下光电稳定平台高精度控制问题,使用改进自抗扰控制器对系统进行控制。对扩张状态观测器中fal函数进行改进得到MIAfal函数。首先,将稳定平台速度输出变化和速度输出误差信号加入fal函数,根据扰动和误差大小调整增益,不增加输出抖振的同时增强了系统抗扰能力;另外,针对不同系统对非线性函数特性要求各不相同,难以用单一特定函数满足系统需求的问题,使用多项式拟合fal函数,保证函数光滑性的同时,调整多项式系数即可满足不同观测器的非线性需求,提升稳定平台抗扰性能。针对改进后fal函数参数较多难以调试的问题,引入并改进浣熊优化算法,分别利用佳点集和Logistic映射优化种群初始化分布和全局寻优。测试函数表明改进后的优化算法收敛速度更快,寻优精度更高。仿真结果表明,在正弦信号输入下,MIAfal函数相较于fal函数对扰动带来的误差和抖振均有所降低。实验结果表明,在不同频率和幅值的正弦扰动下,MIAfal函数相较于fal函数对扰动带来的误差影响可以减少29.6%41.2%。 展开更多
