The battery technology progress has been a contradictory process in which performance improvement and hidden risks coexist.Now the battery is still a“black box”,thus requiring a deep understanding of its internal state.The battery should“sense its internal physical/chemical conditions”,which puts strict requirements on embedded sensing parts.This paper summarizes the application of advanced optical fiber sensors in lithium-ion batteries and energy storage technologies that may be mass deployed,focuses on the insights of advanced optical fiber sensors into the processes of one-dimensional nano-micro-level battery material structural phase transition,electrolyte degradation,electrode-electrolyte interface dynamics to three-dimensional macro-safety evolution.The paper contributes to understanding how to use optical fiber sensors to achieve“real”and“embedded”monitoring.Through the inherent advantages of the advanced optical fiber sensor,it helps clarify the battery internal state and reaction mechanism,aiding in the establishment of more detailed models.These advancements can promote the development of smart batteries,with significant importance lying in essentially promoting the improvement of system consistency.Furthermore,with the help of smart batteries in the future,the importance of consistency can be weakened or even eliminated.The application of advanced optical fiber sensors helps comprehensively improve the battery quality,reliability,and life. 展开更多

黑木耳可溶性膳食纤维功能特性和降脂活性研究

本研究以热水提取黑木耳多糖后剩余的黑木耳残渣为原料,通过复合酶法提取黑木耳可溶性膳食纤维(Auricularia heimuer soluble dietary fiber,HSDF),对其分子量、单糖组成及糖链组成进行分析,检测其持水力、持油力、膨胀力等理化性质,并... 本研究以热水提取黑木耳多糖后剩余的黑木耳残渣为原料,通过复合酶法提取黑木耳可溶性膳食纤维(Auricularia heimuer soluble dietary fiber,HSDF),对其分子量、单糖组成及糖链组成进行分析,检测其持水力、持油力、膨胀力等理化性质,并通过测定胆固醇吸附能力、脂肪酶抑制率及胆酸盐结合率,评价其体外降脂活性。通过高脂喂养(High-fat diet,HFD)C57BL/6J小鼠构建肥胖动物模型,给予黑木耳可溶性膳食纤维治疗,评估HSDF治疗肥胖小鼠的体重、生化指标以及肝脏组织和脂肪组织病理学改变特征,探究其在肥胖小鼠模型中的降脂效果。结果表明,HSDF的相对分子量为4.14×10^(5) Da,是由甘露糖、葡萄糖醛酸、葡萄糖、半乳糖、木糖和岩藻糖聚合而成的混合物,摩尔比为1808.87:0.00278:4.43:2.13:2.84:5.01。HSDF平均持水力为(11.62±0.302)g·g^(-1),平均持油力为(2.95±0.259)g·g^(-1),平均膨胀力为(12.7±0.434)mL·g^(-1),对肠道胆固醇的吸附能力为6.63 mg·g^(-1);浓度为1.2 mg·mL^(-1)时,对甘氨胆酸钠和牛黄胆酸钠的结合率可达92.91%和90.93%。此外,浓度为2.0 mg·mL^(-1)的HSDF对胰脂肪酶抑制率为75%,具有良好的体外降脂活性。同时,HSDF可以显著(P<0.05)改善HFD小鼠脏器指数,改善HFD小鼠肝脏中脂质积累、炎性细胞浸润及脂肪组织中脂肪细胞增大,对于附睾白色脂肪组织细胞面积的改善可以达到50%以上,具有较好的体内降脂效果,结果可为后续黑木耳膳食纤维的研究以及功能食品的研发提供数据支持与理论基础。 展开更多

The morphology of the untreated and alkali treated fibers was studied by scanning electron microscopic method. The FTIR and chemical analyses indicated lowering of hemi-cellulose content by alkali treatment of the fibers. The X-ray diffraction revealed an increase in crystallinity of the fibers on alkali treatment. The thermal stability of the fibers was found to increase slightly by alkali treatment. The tensile properties of these fibers increased on alkali treatment. The mechanical and other physical properties indicated that these fibers were suitable as reinforcements for making the green composites. 展开更多

Enhancement of the graphene-light interaction is found in graphene coated D-shaped photonic crystal fiber,which introduces a tunable polarization of the D-shaped fiber by changing the chemical potential of the coated graphene.An optimal polarizer model is demonstrated with the extinction ratio of 66.26 dB/mm and the insertion loss of 9.4 dB/mm.The modulator extinction ratios of the TE mode and TM mode are 11.5 dB and 5 dB, respectively, with a device length of100 μm. This paper provides a theoretical reference for the optical property research of the graphene fiber. 展开更多

In order to improve the properties by chemical modification and to optimize the alkali concentration, we treated Borassus fruit fine fibers with aqueous sodium hydroxide solutions of different concentra- tions. In each case, the tensile properties of the fibers were determined. The morphology of the untreated and alkali treated fibers was observed using scanning electron microscope. The surface of the fibers became rough on alkali treatment. The tensile properties of the fibers improved on alkali treatment. The fibers attained maximum tensile properties when treated with 15% aqueous sodium hydroxide solution and decreased thereafter. The crystallinity index of the fibers showed a similar trend. The thermal stability of the alkali treated fibers was found to be higher than that of untreated fibers. Further, the char content was maximum for fibers treated with alkali having concentration of 15% and above. The chemical composition indicated that the percentageof a-cellulose was maximum when the fibers were treated with 15% aqueous sodium hydroxide solution and then decreased thereafter thus indicating the beginning of degradation of the fibers at higher concentrations. Thus, the optimum concentration of NaOH was established as 15% for alkali treatment of the Borassus fibers. 展开更多

Responses of radial growth, wood density and fiber traits to planting space in poplar plantations at a lowland site

Poplar is raw material for various panel, paper and fiber products. The 12 sample trees of clone Nanlin-895 from four spacings were destructively harvested after thirteen growing seasons to assess the influence of spacing on radial growth and wood properties. Spacing significantly affected tree-ring width and wood basic density (p < 0.05) but not fiber traits. The highest diameter and wood basic density at breast height (1.3 m) was in 6 m × 6 m and 3 m × 8 m spacings, respectively. However, no significant differences in tree-ring width, wood basic density and fiber traits were observed among the four sampling directions in discs taken at 1.3 m for each spacing. Growth rings from the pith and tree heights had significant effects on wood basic density and fiber anatomical characteristics, highlighting obvious temporal-spatial variations. Pearson correlation analysis showed a significantly negative relationship of tree-ring width to wood basic density, fiber length and fiber width, but a significantly positive relationship to hemicellulose. There was no relationship with cellulose and lignin contents. Based on a comprehensive assessment by the TOPSIS method, the 6 m × 6 m spacing is recommended for producing wood fiber at similar sites in the future. 展开更多
