However, the downlink broadcast exposes the physical layer vulnerable to the threat of illegal eavesdropping. Quantum noise stream cipher(QNSC) is a classic physical layer encryption method and well compatible with the OFDM-PON. Meanwhile, it is indispensable to exploit forward error correction(FEC) to control errors in data transmission. However, when QNSC and FEC are jointly coded, the redundant information becomes heavier and thus the code rate of the transmitted signal will be largely reduced. In this work, we propose a physical layer encryption scheme based on polar-code-assisted QNSC. In order to improve the code rate and security of the transmitted signal, we exploit chaotic sequences to yield the redundant bits and utilize the redundant information of the polar code to generate the higher-order encrypted signal in the QNSC scheme with the operation of the interleaver. We experimentally demonstrate the encrypted 16/64-QAM, 16/256-QAM, 16/1024-QAM, 16/4096-QAM QNSC signals transmitted over 30-km standard single mode fiber. For the transmitted 16/4096-QAM QNSC signal, compared with the conventional QNSC method, the proposed method increases the code rate from 0.1 to 0.32 with enhanced security.展开更多

Although it is known that vibrations in BGBs caused by moving trains can be reduced by installing multiple tuned mass dampers(MTMDs) on the top plate, there is limited research on the noise reduction achieved by this method. This study aims to investigate the noise reduction mechanism of BGBs installed with MTMDs on the top plate. A sound radiation prediction model for the BGB installed with MTMDs is developed, based on the vehicle–track–bridge coupled dynamics and acoustics boundary element method. After being verified by field tested results, the prediction model is employed to study the reduction of vibration and noise of BGBs caused by the MTMDs. It is found that installing MTMDs on top plate can significantly affect the vibration distribution and sound radiation law of BGBs. However, its impact on the sound radiation caused by vibrations dominated by the global modes of BGBs is minimal. The noise reduction achieved by MTMDs is mainly through changing the acoustic radiation contributions of each plate of the bridge. In the lower frequency range, the noise reduction of BGB caused by MTMDs can be more effective if the installation of MTMDs can modify the vibration frequency and distribution of the BGB to avoid the influence of small vibrations and disperse the sound radiation from each plate.展开更多

The Vicsek model, focusing on understanding the collective behaviors of socialanimals, is known due to its discontinuous phase transitions under vector noise. However, its behavior under scalar noiseremains less conclusive. Renowned for its efficacy in the analysis of complex systems under both equilibrium and nonequilibriumstates, the eigen microstate method is employed here for a quantitative examination of the phase transitions inthe Vicsek model under both vector and scalar noises. The study finds that the Vicsek model exhibits discontinuous phasetransitions regardless of noise type. Furthermore, the dichotomy method is utilized to identify the critical points for thesephase transitions. A significant finding is the observed increase in the critical point for discontinuous phase transitions withescalation of population density.展开更多

However, actual Majorana qubit setups are susceptible to noise. In this study, from a quantum dynamics perspective, we develop a noise model for Majorana qubits that accounts for quasi-particle poisoning and Majorana overlapping with fluctuation. Furthermore, we focus on Majorana parity readout methodologies, specifically those leveraging an ancillary quantum dot, and carry out an indepth exploration of continuous measurement techniques founded on the quantum jump model of a quantum point contact.Utilizing these methodologies, we proceed to analyze the influence of noise on the afore-mentioned noise model, employing numerical computation to evaluate the power spectrum and frequency curve. In the culmination of our study, we put forward a strategy to benchmark the presence and detailed properties of noise in Majorana qubits.展开更多

We investigate how the shot noise properties vary as the relative amplitude between the two parity components in the pairing potential is changed. It is demonstrated that some characteristics of the electrical shot noise properties of such tunnel junctions may depend sensitively on the relative amplitude between the two parity components in the pairing potential, and some significant changes may occur in the electrical shot noise properties when the relative amplitude between the two parity components is varied from the singlet s-wave pairing dominated regime to the chiral triplet p-wave pairing dominated regime. In the chiral triplet p-wave pairing dominated regime, the ratio of noise power to electric current is close to 2e both in the in-gap and in the out-gap region. In the singlet s-wave pairing dominated regime, the value of this ratio is close to 4e in the inner gap region but may reduce to about 2e in the outer gap region as the relative amplitude of the chiral triplet pairing component is increased. The variations of the differential shot noise with the bias voltage also exhibit some significantly different features in different regimes. Such different features can serve as useful diagnostic tools for the determination of the relative magnitude of the two parity components in the pairing potential.展开更多

To simulate the quantum noise, the random numbers obeying noise distribution must be formed and are weighted on the basis of the model created. Three uniform random sequences are built by the linear congruential method, of which two are used to form integer number and decimal fraction parts of the new random sequence respectively and the third to shuffle the new sequence. And then a Gauss sequence is formed out of uniform distribution by a function transforming method. It actualizes the simulation in real time of quantum noise in the low light imaging system, where video flow is extracted in real time, the noise summed up and played back side by side with the original video signs by a simulation software.展开更多

Vibration and noise suppression smart structure is an important branch of SMS. There are several typical structures such as the cabin of an airplane, space station, the solar board of satellite and the rotor blade of a helicopter, of which the vibrations and radiation noises have bad influences on precise equipments and aiming systems. In order to suppress vibrations and noises of these structures, several algorithms are applied to the models which simulate the structures. Experiments are performed to suppress vibrations and noises by bonding sensors and actuators to the structures at the optimized locations and using computer based measurement and control systems. For the blade vibration control of a helicopter, a non contact method of signal transmission by magneto electric coupling is discussed. The experimental results demonstrate that the methods used for active control are effective.展开更多

文摘Research on discrete memristor-based neural networks has received much attention. However, current research mainly focuses on memristor–based discrete homogeneous neuron networks, while memristor-coupled discrete heterogeneous neuron networks are rarely reported. In this study,a new four-stable discrete locally active memristor is proposed and its nonvolatile and locally active properties are verified by its power-off plot and DC V–I diagram.Based on two-dimensional(2D)discrete Izhikevich neuron and 2D discrete Chialvo neuron,a heterogeneous discrete neuron network is constructed by using the proposed discrete memristor as a coupling synapse connecting the two heterogeneous neurons.Considering the coupling strength as the control parameter, chaotic firing, periodic firing, and hyperchaotic firing patterns are revealed. In particular, multiple coexisting firing patterns are observed, which are induced by different initial values of the memristor.Phase synchronization between the two heterogeneous neurons is discussed and it is found that they can achieve perfect synchronous at large coupling strength.Furthermore, the effect of Gaussian white noise on synchronization behaviors is also explored. We demonstrate that the presence of noise not only leads to the transition of firing patterns, but also achieves the phase synchronization between two heterogeneous neurons under low coupling strength.

文摘This paper presents a comprehensive framework for analyzing phase transitions in collective models such as theVicsek model under various noise types. A significant finding is the observed increase in the critical point for discontinuous phase transitions withescalation of population density.

文摘To enhance flow stability and reduce hydrodynamic noise caused by fluctuating pressure,a quasiperiodic elastic support skin composed of flexible walls and elastic support elements is proposed for fluid noise reduction. The arrangement of the elastic support element is determined by the equivalent periodic distance and quasi-periodic coefficient. In this paper,a dynamic model of skin in a fluid environment is established. The influence of equivalent periodic distance and quasi-periodic coefficient on flow stability is investigated. The results suggest that arranging the elastic support elements in accordance with the quasi-periodic law can effectively enhance flow stability.Meanwhile, the hydrodynamic noise calculation results demonstrate that the skin exhibits excellent noise reduction performance, with reductions of 10 dB in the streamwise direction,11 dB in the spanwise direction, and 10 dB in the normal direction. The results also demonstrate that the stability analysis method can serve as a diagnostic tool for flow fields and guide the design of noise reduction structures.

文摘In this article,we consider the numerical prediction of the noise emission from a wheelset in laboratory conditions. We focus on the fluid-structure interaction leading to sound emission in the fluid domain by analyzing three different methods to account for acoustic sources. These are a discretized baffled piston using the discrete calculation method(DCM),a closed cylindrical volume using the boundary element method(BEM)and radiating elastic disks in a cubic enclosure solved with the finite element method(FEM).We provide the validation of the baffled piston and the BEM using measurements of the noise emission of a railway wheel by considering ground reflections in the numerical models.Selected space-resolved waveforms are compared with experimental results as well as with a fluid-structure interaction finite element model. The computational advantage of a discretized disk mounted on a baffle and BEM compared to FEM is highlighted, and the baffled pistons limitations caused by a lack of edge radiation effects are investigated.

文摘(Multichannel)Singular spectrum analysis is considered as one of the most effective methods for seismic incoherent noise suppression. It utilizes the low-rank feature of seismic signal and regards the noise suppression as a low-rank reconstruction problem. However,in some cases the seismic geophones receive some erratic disturbances and the amplitudes are dramatically larger than other receivers. The presence of this kind of noise, called erratic noise, makes singular spectrum analysis(SSA)reconstruction unstable and has undesirable effects on the final results. We robustify the low-rank reconstruction of seismic data by a reweighted damped SSA(RD-SSA)method.It incorporates the damped SSA,an improved version of SSA,into a reweighted framework. The damping operator is used to weaken the artificial disturbance introduced by the low-rank projection of both erratic and random noise. The central idea of the RD-SSA method is to iteratively approximate the observed data with the quadratic norm for the first iteration and the Tukeys bisquare norm for the rest iterations. The RD-SSA method can suppress seismic incoherent noise and keep the reconstruction process robust to the erratic disturbance. The feasibility of RD-SSA is validated via both synthetic and field data examples.

文摘Majorana quantum computation offers a potential approach to securely manipulating and storing quantum data in a topological manner that may effectively resist the decoherence induced by local noise. In the culmination of our study, we put forward a strategy to benchmark the presence and detailed properties of noise in Majorana qubits.
文摘We study theoretically the electrical shot noise properties of tunnel junctions between a normal metal and a superconductor with the mixture of singlet s-wave and chiral triplet p-wave pairing due to broken inversion symmetry. Such different features can serve as useful diagnostic tools for the determination of the relative magnitude of the two parity components in the pairing potential.
文摘A mathematical model of quantum noise having much effect on the low light imaging system is set up. It actualizes the simulation in real time of quantum noise in the low light imaging system, where video flow is extracted in real time, the noise summed up and played back side by side with the original video signs by a simulation software.

文摘According to the theories of optimal noise match and optimal power match, a method for calculating the optimal source impedance of low noise amplifier (LNA) is proposed based on the input reflection coefficient S11. Moreover.with the help of Smith chart, the calculation process is detailed, and the trade-off between the lowest noise figure and the maximum power gain is obtained during the design of LNA input impedance matching network. Based on the Chart 0. 35-μm CMOS process, a traditional cascode LNA circuit is designed and manufactured. Simulation and experimental results have a good agreement with the theoretical analysis, thus proving the correctness of theoretical analysis and the feasibility of the method.
文摘Smart material and structure (SMS) is a challenging novel technique for the 21 century especially in fields of aviation and aerospace. The experimental results demonstrate that the methods used for active control are effective.
