The aerodynamic performance of high-speed trains passing each other was investigated on a simply supported box girder bridge,with a span of 32 m,under crosswinds.The bridge and train models,modeled at a geometric scale ratio of 1:30,were used to test the aerodynamic forces of the train,with the help of a designed moving test rig in the XNJD-3 wind tunnel.The effects of wind speed,train speed,and yaw angle on the aerodynamic coefficients of the train were analyzed.The static and moving model tests were compared to demonstrate how the movement of the train influences its aerodynamic characteristics.The results show that the sheltering effect introduced by trains passing each other can cause a sudden change in force on the leeward train,which is further influenced by the wind and running speeds.Detailed analyses related to the effect of wind and train speeds on the aerodynamic coefficients were conducted.The relationship between the change in aerodynamic coefficients and yaw angle was finally described by a series of proposed fitting formulas. 展开更多

A simple pendulum method was designed and carried out in wind tunnel to measure drag of isolated tree models according to balance law of moment of force. The method was easy to conduct and with small error The results showed that the drag and drag coefficient of isolated tree increased with decreasing of its permeability or porosity. In wind tunnel tests,long cantilever stings are usually used to support aerodynamic models.However,this kind of sting support system is prone to vibration problems due to its low damping,which limits the test envelope and affects the data quality.It is shown in many studies that the sting vibration can be effectively reduced by using active sting dampers based on piezoelectric actuators.This paper attempts to review the research progress of piezoelectric vibration control in wind tunnel tests,covering the design of active sting dampers,control methods and wind tunnel applications.First of all,different design schemes of active sting dampers are briefly introduced,along with the vibration damping principle.Then,a comprehensive review of the control methods for active sting dampers is presented,ranging from classic control methods,like PID control algorithm,to various intelligent control methods.Furthermore,the applications of active sting dampers and controllers in different wind tunnels are summarized to evaluate their vibration damping effect.Finally,the remaining problems that need to be solved in the future development of piezoelectric vibration control in wind tunnel tests are discussed. 展开更多

The transonic-supersonic wind tunnel experiment on the aerodynamics of the rockets and missiles that have four, six, eight flat or wrap-around fins is introduced. The experimental results show, while M∞〈2.0, with the increase of the fins'number, the derivative of lift coefficient is increasing, the pressure center is shifting backwards, and the longitudinal static stability is augmenting. On the contrary, while the Mach number exceeds a certain supersonic value, the aerodynamic effectiveness of the eight-fin missiles would be lower than that of the six-fin missiles. For the low speed short-range missiles, by adopting six, eight or ten flat fins configuration, the lift effectiveness can be greatly increased, the pressure center can be shifted backwards, the static and dynamic stability can be obviously enhanced. For the high speed long-range large rockets and missiles launched from multi-tube launcher, the configuration adopting more than six fins can not be useful for increasing the stability but would make the rolling rate instable during the flight. 展开更多

We carried out a wind tunnel test to measure cladding loads for a high-rise building of 295 m in height, which would be located in the business center of Chongqing Municipality, P. R. China. The rigid model was used to determine fluctuating local pressures on the exterior surfaces of the building. The wind tunnel test results show the cr/tical zone of wind pressures on building surfaces in both standalone and interference conditions. The computational fluid dynamics (CFD) was conducted by using the FLUENT Code to compare with the wind tunnel test results, and the steady three-dimensional turbulent flow with Realizable k-ε as a turbulence model was used. The CFD results are agree with the wind tunnel test results in regards to distributions of wind pressures over a high-rise building's surfaces. 展开更多

In order to investigate the aerodynamic behavior of the Sutong bridge over Yangtze River during erection, a 1:50 sectional model of the bridge deck, a 1: 100 full aeroelastic model of the free standing pylon and a 1: 125 full aeroelastic model for the maxim cantilever configuration were built. The test results show that there was no serious vortex-induced vibration at the bridge deck, and that the free standing tower, the model scale and the turbulence intensity influenced static loading. The buffeting responses during the maximum cantilever configuration did not affect the safety of the bridge under construction. 展开更多

The ejector-powered engine simulator(EPES)system is an important piece of equipment in conducting an influence test of the intake and jet flow in low-speed wind tunnels.In this work,through the analysis of the structure and principle of EPES,three parts of the internal flow force were obtained,namely,the additional resistance before the inlet,the internal flow force in the inlet and the thrust produced by the ejector.On the assumption of one-dimensional isentropic adiabatic flow,the theoretical formulae for calculating the forces were derived according to the measured total pressure,static pressure and total temperature of the internal flow section.Subsequently,a calibration tank was used to calibrate the EPES system.On the basis of the characteristics of the EPES system,the process and method of its calibration were designed in detail,and the model installation interface of the calibration tank was reformed.By applying this method,the repeatability accuracy of the inlet flow rate calibration coefficient was less than0.05%,whereas that of the exhaust flow rate and velocity was less than 0.1%.Upon the application of the calibration coefficients to the correction of the wind tunnel experiment data,the results showed good agreement with the numerical simulation results in terms of regularity and magnitude before stall,which validates the reasonableness and feasibility of the calibration method.Analysis of the calibration data also demonstrated the consistency in the variation law and trend between the theoretical calculation and actual measurement of internal flow force,further reflecting the rationality and feasibility of the theoretical calculation.Nevertheless,the numerical difference was large and further widened with a higher ejection flow rate mainly because of the accuracy of flow measurement and the inhomogeneity of internal flow.The thrust deflection angle of EPES is an important factor in correcting this issue.In particular,the thrust deflection angle becomes larger with small ejection flow and becomes smaller with an increase in flow rate,essentially exhibiting a general change of less than 10°. 展开更多

In order to assess the effects of tuned mass dampers (TMDs) on wind actions, an aeroelastic model with a scale of 1:60 was constructed. Tests were performed in an atmospheric boundary layer wind tunnel to investigate the buffeting response of the pylon with a TMD fixed by a wire rope instead of a spring. The model was tested under different levels of damping. The experimental and numerical results showed that with the TMD in the optimal condition, the buffeting response was reduced by 47%. 展开更多

This paper presents a numerical prediction of the unsteady flow field around oscillating airfoils at high angles of attack by solving unsteady Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes equations with SST turbulence model in order to simulate the effects of wind tunnel model vibrations on the aerodynamic properties of airfoils,especially high-aspect-ratio wings in a wind tunnel.The effects of the phase lagging between different modes of oscillations,i.e.,the airfoil plunging oscillation mode,the pitching oscillation mode,and the forward-backward oscillation mode,are also studied.It is shown that the vibrations (oscillations) of airfoils can cause the unsteady shedding of large-size separated vortex to precede the stationary stall incidence,hence lead to a stall onset at some earlier (lower) incidence than that in the steady sense.The different phase lagging has different effect on the flow field.When the pitching oscillation mode has small phase lagging behind the plunging oscillation mode,the effect of vibrations is large.Besides,if the amplitude of the oscillations is large enough,and the different modes of vibrations match or combine appropriately,the unsteady stall may occur 2° earlier in angle of attack than the case where airfoils keep stationary. 展开更多

狮子洋大桥设计风参数及主梁断面气动优化研究

狮子洋大桥为主跨2180 m的双层桥面板桁-箱桁组合钢梁悬索桥,该桥中跨桥面高度处设计基准风速高达48.0 m/s。为确保该超大跨度悬索桥运营阶段的抗风安全性,围绕主梁气动外形优化开展多方案抗风性能比选及风致振动性能评价。结合气象站... 狮子洋大桥为主跨2180 m的双层桥面板桁-箱桁组合钢梁悬索桥,该桥中跨桥面高度处设计基准风速高达48.0 m/s。为确保该超大跨度悬索桥运营阶段的抗风安全性,围绕主梁气动外形优化开展多方案抗风性能比选及风致振动性能评价。结合气象站概率统计模型设计风速和混合气候模式设计风速,确定狮子洋大桥桥位处设计风参数;对5种主梁方案开展主梁节段模型风洞试验,进行主梁方案比选和颤振稳定性气动措施优化、不同扭转阻尼比下涡激共振稳定性评价以及台风气候模式下多模态抖振频域计算。结果表明:桥位设计基本风速取34.9 m/s;颤振稳定性方面,对5种主梁方案,上、下层桥面设置通长纵梁能显著改善主梁断面的气动稳定性,增设桥面底部中央稳定板、封闭下层桥面底部和上、下弦杆风嘴可进一步提升抑振效果;涡激共振响应方面,当扭转阻尼比达到0.32%时,扭转涡激共振基本消失;抖振响应方面,台风下主梁抖振响应显著高于《公路桥梁抗风设计规范》(JTG/T 3360-01—2018)规定的百年重现期内设计风速下抖振响应。推荐主梁方案为上、下层桥面系分别采用正交异性钢桥面板和整体式箱梁的双层桥面板桁-箱桁组合钢梁,其主梁断面可满足颤振、涡激共振和抖振的抗风安全设计要求。 展开更多

流线型构件对TTU模型风荷载影响的大涡模拟研究

低矮建筑屋盖角区出现的高极值负压,是其围护结构抗风设计的重点。基于空气动力学原理,依据屋面角区绕流形态,基于TTU(Texas Tech University)标准建筑模型设计了一种屋面角区新型流线型附加构件,并通过改变附加构件高度、长度等参数,... 低矮建筑屋盖角区出现的高极值负压,是其围护结构抗风设计的重点。基于空气动力学原理,依据屋面角区绕流形态,基于TTU(Texas Tech University)标准建筑模型设计了一种屋面角区新型流线型附加构件,并通过改变附加构件高度、长度等参数,进行了10种工况的刚性模型测压风洞试验和大涡模拟(LES)对比研究,以探讨这类新型附加构件对屋面角区风荷载的影响和屋面抗风气动优化以及LES精度等问题。研究结果表明:屋面角区设置附加构件均可有效降低角区出现的极值负压,在所研究的10种工况中,屋面角区最不利平均负压最大可降低10%,最不利极值负压最大可降低25%;利用NSRFG(Narrowband Synthesis Random Flow Generation)方法生成入流湍流,采用LES得到的TTU模型各工况下的风荷载分布规律,虽然部分工况下屋面平均风压系数绝对值模拟结果偏大(平均误差为13.88%),而极值风压系数偏小(平均误差为9.72%),但整体上与风洞试验一致,表明利用NSRFG方法建立的低矮建筑绕流模型具有较好的精度;附加构件长度相对于高度而言对屋面角区风荷载的影响更大,等长附加构件高度增加1倍后,屋面角区极值风压系数降低6.15%,等高附件长度增加0.8倍后,屋面角区极值风压系数降低10.77%。 展开更多

基于PSO−SVR的掘进工作面风温预测

随着我国浅部煤炭资源的逐渐枯竭,矿井开采深度日益增大,热害问题也随之加剧。采掘作业空间是井下的主要热害场所,对其进行热害防治是矿井安全高效生产的重要基础。矿井热害治理的前提是明确其冷负荷,因此对采掘作业空间风温进行精准预... 随着我国浅部煤炭资源的逐渐枯竭,矿井开采深度日益增大,热害问题也随之加剧。采掘作业空间是井下的主要热害场所,对其进行热害防治是矿井安全高效生产的重要基础。矿井热害治理的前提是明确其冷负荷,因此对采掘作业空间风温进行精准预测意义重大。建立了基于PSO-SVR(基于粒子群的支持向量回归)的掘进工作面风温预测模型,利用模型中的惩罚因子C和核函数参数g对模型进行了寻优。通过现场实测及文献调研,建立了掘进工作面风温预测训练样本集。通过与最小二乘法估计MLR模型和经“试错法”标定参数的常规SVR模型进行对比,分析了PSO-SVR算法的优势。将PSO-SVR算法模型应用于平煤十矿己-24120保护层风巷风温预测,并依据风温预测结果,指导了制冷机组的选型和降温方案设计。结果表明:PSO-SVR模型预测性能最优,模型绝对误差百分比仅为1.85%,较常规SVR模型减小了55.9%,可见PSO优化模型参数对于提高SVR拟合度、泛化性及预测精度具有重要作用。巷道每掘进100m,工作面风流平均温升0.16℃,掘进至2000m时巷道迎头风温升至35.8℃。己-24120保护层风巷需冷量为1083.28kW,设计制冷机组总制冷量为1085 kW。己-24120保护层风巷实施降温后,工作面平均温降8.6℃,降温效果显著,表明了PSO-SVR掘进工作面风温预测模型的可靠性和可行性。 展开更多

神经网络方法作为一种高效高精度建模方法,在多个领域得到广泛应用,但其自身的“黑箱”特性结合工程问题特有的小样本现象使得模型可靠性不足,预测结果不确定性大,严重制约了神经网络模型的使用。为提高神经网络模型的工程适用性,以飞... 神经网络方法作为一种高效高精度建模方法,在多个领域得到广泛应用,但其自身的“黑箱”特性结合工程问题特有的小样本现象使得模型可靠性不足,预测结果不确定性大,严重制约了神经网络模型的使用。为提高神经网络模型的工程适用性,以飞机纵向非定常气动特性为研究对象,利用时间卷积神经网络实现了纵向大幅振荡风洞试验的时域非定常气动力建模,并使用MC-Dropout技术对预测结果的不确定性进行评估。在此基础上结合不确定性分析结果,开展了风洞试验样本主动采样。结果表明,模型不确定性可作为预测精度的先验评价指标,模型预测误差与不确定性具有强线性关系,主动采样策略较随机采样策略可以最多降低40%的样本需求,验证了该方法在提升黑箱模型可信度与降低建模样本需求量方面的有效性。 展开更多

灯具会改变斜拉索的气动外形,可能诱发驰振现象。为研究不同灯具对斜拉索驰振性能的影响,以某大跨斜拉桥斜拉索为研究背景,开发了一种节段模型低频悬吊系统,开展了节段模型测振风洞试验,研究了0°~180°风攻角条件下安装抱箍式... 灯具会改变斜拉索的气动外形,可能诱发驰振现象。为研究不同灯具对斜拉索驰振性能的影响,以某大跨斜拉桥斜拉索为研究背景,开发了一种节段模型低频悬吊系统,开展了节段模型测振风洞试验,研究了0°~180°风攻角条件下安装抱箍式、贴合式和分离式三种灯具斜拉索的驰振性能,并分析了附加阻尼对安装灯具斜拉索驰振临界风速的影响。研究结果表明:灯具类型和斜拉索直径是影响斜拉索驰振性能的重要因素。安装抱箍式灯具斜拉索未发生驰振现象,而安装贴合式灯具斜拉索和分离式灯具斜拉索均在低风速下发生了驰振,说明贴合式灯具和分离式灯具会降低斜拉索的驰振稳定性。安装贴合式灯具时,直径200 mm斜拉索的不利风攻角是160°,而直径260 mm斜拉索的不利风攻角是30°和150°;安装分离式灯具时,直径200 mm斜拉索的不利风攻角是20°,而直径260 mm斜拉索未观测到驰振现象。增大阻尼能提高斜拉索的驰振临界风速。相关研究成果可为安装灯具斜拉索的驰振性能及减振控制研究提供重要参考。 展开更多

为了有效控制地铁隧道导洞台阶法施工锚喷作业时高浓度粉尘对作业人员的健康影响,本研究采用现场采样、数值模拟等方法,分析了风管安装位置、送风口到掌子面距离、风管风速对粉尘扩散的影响,研究了作业人员呼吸区粉尘浓度的动态变化,以... 为了有效控制地铁隧道导洞台阶法施工锚喷作业时高浓度粉尘对作业人员的健康影响,本研究采用现场采样、数值模拟等方法,分析了风管安装位置、送风口到掌子面距离、风管风速对粉尘扩散的影响,研究了作业人员呼吸区粉尘浓度的动态变化,以确定最佳通风方案。结果表明:现场高浓度粉尘是由于隧道内部存在逆流现象,粉尘聚集于下台阶前侧,作业人员平均粉尘接触质量浓度超过500 mg/m^(3),当送风口与掌子面距离增大到20 m时,粉尘质量浓度降低150 mg/m^(3),若风管风速增大到15 m/s,局部降尘率达到50%以上;风管位于底拱处,风速增大至15 m/s,局部降尘率可达51.92%,可获得最佳抑尘性能;此外,现场需采取个体防护和环境净化除尘措施来减少粉尘污染。 展开更多

1000 kV八分裂输电线路负刚度阻尼器防舞的风洞试验研究

利用磁体相互作用力设计了一种负刚度装置,并与电涡流阻尼器并联制得负刚度阻尼器(negative stiffness damper,NSD)。在导线大比例缩尺模型近端部安装阻尼器进行自振试验,发现阻尼器可以提升系统一阶等效阻尼比,其中NSD的减振性能更佳... 利用磁体相互作用力设计了一种负刚度装置,并与电涡流阻尼器并联制得负刚度阻尼器(negative stiffness damper,NSD)。在导线大比例缩尺模型近端部安装阻尼器进行自振试验,发现阻尼器可以提升系统一阶等效阻尼比,其中NSD的减振性能更佳。以某1000 kV八分裂输电线路为工程原型,基于模态分解法与动力相似关系,设计了导线-阻尼器系统的舞动风洞试验装置,在典型易舞风攻角下,进行了安装不同阻尼器的节段模型风洞试验。结果表明:端部阻尼器对导线的竖向舞动具有较好的抑制效果,能够有效提高导线起舞风速、降低导线竖向舞动幅值,且NSD的抑舞性能优于黏滞阻尼器;但在以扭转向舞动为主的工况下,安装在分裂导线近中心的单阻尼器防舞效果不佳,针对这种情况给出了双阻尼器并联连接导线的方案,试验验证了这种方案可以有效抑制扭转向舞动。 展开更多
