And the learning of langua...Visual methods in language teaching have come in very quickly; their introduction has been hastened by the development of the electronic and mechanical means for displaying visual materials. And the learning of language and the teaching of meaning have been a long-lasting and significant topic in applied linguistics. In this paper several aspects of language teaching including main features of language learning, different ways for teaching of meaning etc. have been discussed. Then, the visual element in language teaching and different kinds of visual materials such as sound film, audio-visual courses, television will be introduced with an application of visual materials in real language class. Then, after the above discussion, the final conclusion will be arrived that the ultimate goal of language teaching is meaning and visual element can be of great importance in the creation of a real situation in language teaching.展开更多
基于Visual C#和MATLAB语言的混合编程,提出纤维过滤介质过滤性能计算的软件开发方案,实现对纤维过滤介质三维结构的重建及其过滤性能的计算。首先通过扫描电子显微镜(Scanning Electron Microscope,SEM)成像获得过滤介质内部微观结构...基于Visual C#和MATLAB语言的混合编程,提出纤维过滤介质过滤性能计算的软件开发方案,实现对纤维过滤介质三维结构的重建及其过滤性能的计算。首先通过扫描电子显微镜(Scanning Electron Microscope,SEM)成像获得过滤介质内部微观结构二维图像,提取过滤介质的几何参数,根据纤维半径和方向等参数重建过滤介质的三维结构,利用经典的经验公式计算过滤介质的压降和效率。以Visual Studio 2010为开发平台,Visual C#为开发语言,基于dll文件调用MATLAB程序,最终完成该软件的开发。与利用数值模拟或实验方法计算过滤介质性能相比,利用该软件计算过滤介质的过滤性能,方法简单、便捷。展开更多
Mental image has often been believed to play a very large, even pivotal, role in both memory and motivation. However, with the lateralization of the brain, the treasure of mental image, a function dominated by the rig...Mental image has often been believed to play a very large, even pivotal, role in both memory and motivation. However, with the lateralization of the brain, the treasure of mental image, a function dominated by the right hemisphere of the brain, is often neglected in the realm of language learning, a function dominated by the left-brain. Thus, educational systems have largely, if not exclusively, catered to the logic, analytical left-brain, and unwisely phase out the imagery elements of the right brain. In this paper, therefore, the author argues that mental image should not be a property confined to children, who have more imagination. This kind of human treasure should be appropriately deployed through the process of language teaching and learning, for it can provide a strong impetus for language learning, thus making language-learning process more enjoyable and beneficial.展开更多
