This paper focuses on the H∞ controller design for linear systems with time-varying delays and norm-bounded parameter perturbations in the system state and control/disturbance. On the existence of delayed/undelayed full state feedback controllers, we present a sufficient condition and give a design method in the form of Riccati equation. The controller can not only stabilize the time-delay system, but also make the H∞ norm of the closed-loop system be less than a given bound. An algorithm is proposed which uses the method of a feasible direction matrix. The algorithm only requires the solution of an algebraic Riccati equation (ARE) and makes the H∞norm of the closedloop transfer function matrix from disturbance inputs to controlled outputs less than a given constant which ensure the stability of the overall controlled system at each iteration. A robust adaptive control is proposed for a class of uncertain nonlinear non-affine SISO systems. In order to approximate the unknown nonlinear function, an affine type neural network(ATNN) and neural state feedback compensation are used, and then to compensate the approximation error and external disturbance, a robust control term is employed. By Lyapunov stability analysis for the closed-loop system, it is proven that tracking errors asymptotically converge to zero. Moreover, an observer is designed to estimate the system states because all the states may not be available for measurements. Furthermore, the adaptation laws of neural networks and the robust controller are given based on the Lyapunov stability theory. Finally, two simulation examples are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed control method. Finally, two simulation examples show that the proposed method exhibits strong robustness, fast response and small tracking error, even for the non-affine nonlinear system with external disturbance, which confirms the effectiveness of the proposed approach. 展开更多

This class of systems are described by a state space model, which contains unknown nonlinear interaction and time-varying norm-bounded parametric uncertainties in state equation. Using the Riccati-equation-based approach we design state feedback control laws, which guarantee the decentralized stability with disturbance attenuation for the interconnected uncertain systems. By such feedback controllers, the exponential stability of uncertain nonlinear dynamical systems can be guaranteed. The approach can give a clear insight to system analysis. The solid state transformer(SST) can be viewed as an energy router in energy internet. This work presents sliding mode control(SMC) to improve dynamic state and steady state performance of a three-stage(rectifier stage, isolated stage and inverter stage) SST for energy internet. SMC with three-level hysteresis sliding functions is presented to control the input current of rectifier stage and output voltage of inverter stage to improve the robustness under external disturbance and parametric uncertainties and reduce the switching frequency. A modified feedback linearization technique using isolated stage simplified model is presented to achieve satisfactory regulation of output voltage of the isolated stage. The system is tested for steady state operation, reactive power control, dynamic load change and voltage sag simulations, respectively. The switching model of SST is implemented in Matlab/ Simulink to verify the SST control algorithms. 展开更多

In order to meet the precision requirements and tracking performance of the continuous rotary motor electro-hydraulic servo system under unknown strong non-linear and uncertain strong disturbance factors,such as dynamic uncertainty and parameter perturbation,an improved active disturbance rejection control(ADRC)strategy was proposed.The state space model of the fifth order closed-loop system was established based on the principle of valve-controlled hydraulic motor.Then the three parts of ADRC were improved by parameter perturbation and external disturbance;the fast tracking differentiator was introduced into linear and non-linear combinations;the nonlinear state error feedback was proposed using synovial control;the extended state observer was determined by nonlinear compensation.In addition,the grey wolf algorithm was used to set the parameters of the three parts.The simulation and experimental results show that the improved ADRC can realize the system frequency 12 Hz when the tracking accuracy and response speed meet the requirements of double ten indexes,which lay foundation for the motor application. 展开更多

The excavator is being developed to dig trenches autonomously. One stumbling block is the achievement of adequate,accurate,quick and smooth movement under automatic control. Here,both classical and modern approaches are considered,including proportional-integral-derivative (PID) control tuned by conventional Zigler-Nichols rules,linear proportional-integral-plus (PIP) control,and a novel nonlinear PIP controller based on a state-dependent parameter (SDP) model structure,in which the parameters are functionally dependent on other variables in the system. Implementation results for the excavator joint arms control demonstrate that SDP-PIP controller provides the improved performance with fast,smooth and accurate response in comparison with both PID and linearized PIP control. 展开更多

The problem of robust and reliable control design for linear uncertain impulsive systems with both timevarying norm-bounded parameter uncertainty and actuator failures was studied. The actuators are classified into two groups. One set of actuators susceptible to failures is possible to fail, the other set of actuators robust to failures is assumed never to fail. The outputs of the actuator failures are regarded as zero. The purpose is to design the state feedback controller such that, for all admissible uncertainties as well as actuator failures occurring among a prespecified subset of actuators, the plant remains asymptotically stable. A modified algebraic Riccati equation approach was developed to solve the problem addressed and a robust reliable control law was obtained. An numerical example was also offered to prove the effectiveness of the proposed method. 展开更多

In this paper, a practical decoupling control scheme for fighter aircraft is proposed to achieve high angle of attack(AOA)tracking and super maneuver action by utilizing the thrust vector technology. Firstly, a six degree-of-freedom(DOF) nonlinear model with 12 variables is given. Due to low sufficiency of the aerodynamic actuators at high AOA, a thrust vector model with rotatable engine nozzles is derived. Secondly, the active disturbance rejection control(ADRC) is used to realize a three-channel decoupling control such that a strong coupling between different channels can be treated as total disturbance, which is estimated by the designed extended state observer. The control surface allocation is implemented by the traditional daisy chain method. Finally,the effectiveness of the presented control strategy is demonstrated by some numerical simulation results. 展开更多

To deal with stabilizing of nonlinear affine fractional order systems subject to time varying delays,two methods for finding an appropriate pseudo state feedback controller are discussed.In the first method,using the Mittag-Lefler function,Laplace transform and Gronwall inequality,a linear stabilizing controller is derived,which uses the fractional order of the delayed system and the upper bound of system nonlinear functions.In the second method,at first a sufficient stability condition for the delayed system is given in the form of a simple linear matrix inequality(LMI)which can easily be solved.Then,on the basis of this result,a stabilizing pseudo-state feedback controller is designed in which the controller gain matrix is easily computed by solving an LMI in terms of delay bounds.Simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed methods. 展开更多
