The PICOSEC Micromegas(MM)is a precise timing gaseous detector based on a Cherenkov radiator coupled with a semi-transparent photocathode and an MM amplifying structure.It features a two-stage amplification process that leads to a significant deterioration of non-uniformity when scaling up to larger areas.Since the performance of gaseous detectors is highly dependent on the choice of working gas,optimizing the gas mixture offers a promising solution to improve the uniformity performance.This paper addresses these challenges through a combined approach of simulation based on Garfield++and experimental studies.The simulation investigates the properties of different mixing fractions of gas mixtures and their impact on detector performance,including gain uniformity and time resolution.To verify the simulation results,experimental tests were conducted using a multi-channel PICOSEC MM prototype with different gas mixtures.The experimental results are consistent with the findings of the simulation,indicating that a higher concentration of neon significantly improves the detector’s gain uniformity.Furthermore,the influence of gas mixtures on time resolution was explored as a critical performance indicator.The study presented in this paper offers valuable insights for improving uniformity in large-area PICOSEC MM detectors and optimizing overall performance. 展开更多

In recent years,heavy ion accelerator technology has been rapidly developing worldwide and widely applied in the fields of space radiation simulation and particle therapy.Usually,a very high uniformity in the irradiation area is required for the extracted ion beams,which is crucial because it directly affects the experimental precision and therapeutic effect.Specifically,ultra-large-area and high-uniformity scanning are crucial requirements for spacecraft radiation effects assessment and serve as core specification for beamline terminal design.In the 300 MeV proton and heavy ion accelerator complex at the Space Environment Simulation and Research Infrastructure(SESRI),proton and heavy ion beams will be accelerated and ultimately delivered to three irradiation terminals.In order to achieve the required large irradiation area of 320 mm×320 mm,horizontal and vertical scanning magnets are used in the extraction beam line.However,considering the various requirements for beam species and energies,the tracking accuracy of power supplies(PSs),the eddy current effect of scanning magnets,and the fluctuation of ion bunch structure will reduce the irradiation uniformity.To mitigate these effects,a beam uniformity optimization method based on the measured beam distribution was proposed and applied in the accelerator complex at SESRI.In the experiment,the uniformity is successfully optimized from 75%to over 90%after five iterations of adjustment to the PS waveforms.In this paper,the method and experimental results were introduced. 展开更多

Uniform linear array(ULA)radars are widely used in the collision-avoidance radar systems of small unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs).In practice,a ULA's multi-target direction of arrival(DOA)estimation performance suffers from significant performance degradation owing to the limited number of physical elements.To improve the underdetermined DOA estimation performance of a ULA radar mounted on a small UAV platform,we propose a nonuniform linear motion sampling underdetermined DOA estimation method.Using the motion of the UAV platform,the echo signal is sampled at different positions.Then,according to the concept of difference co-array,a virtual ULA with multiple array elements and a large aperture is synthesized to increase the degrees of freedom(DOFs).Through position analysis of the original and motion arrays,we propose a nonuniform linear motion sampling method based on ULA for determining the optimal DOFs.Under the condition of no increase in the aperture of the physical array,the proposed method obtains a high DOF with fewer sampling runs and greatly improves the underdetermined DOA estimation performance of ULA.The results of numerical simulations conducted herein verify the superior performance of the proposed method. 展开更多

Cycling and rate performance of natural graphite is still limited by the sluggish kinetics of lithium ions,which can be improved by surface modifications in previous research.Among these methods,amorphous carbon coating has been proved to be mature and efficient.However,the significance of coating uniformity in relation to solid electrolyte interphase(SEI)has been largely overlooked.In this study,the uniformity of amorphous carbon coating is adjusted by the particle size of pitch.When discharged-charged at 1 C,graphite half-cells with such uniform coating show 90.3%of the capacity at 0.1 C,while that is 82.1%for non-uniform coating.Additionally,improved initial coulombic efficiency and cycling stability are demonstrated.These can be attributed to graphite anodes featuring a uniform carbon coating that promotes effective and homogeneous LiF formation within the inorganic matrix.This leads to the establishment of a stabilized SEI,confirmed by time-of-flight secondary ion mass spectrometry(TOF-SIMS).This work provides valuable reference into the rational control of graphite interfaces for high electrochemical performance. 展开更多

Web任务的分配影响Web服务器集群系统的整体性能。常用的分配方法是对用户的信息资源地址(URL)请求,根据服务器数量进行轮询分配。这种策略影响缓存的命中率和服务器性能的发挥。在分析了Web站点中文件的组织方式及用户对Web请求特征的基础上,提出了基于URL分配树的LT分配策略。根据URL地址构建URL分配树,对用户的请求进行响应;同时考虑任务的处理代价,各服务节点服务能力和当前负载状况,对服务节点进行负载均衡的任务分配。从缓存队列剩余、请求任务溢出情况和轮询分配策略进行了比较,实验表明分配策略能根据服务节点的服务能力、负载状况进行合理地分配,实现了负载的真正均衡,提高了系统整体吞吐量。 展开更多

基于1989、2001、2011和2017年Landsat遥感影像反演地表温度和提取地表覆盖信息,利用Uniform tiles和单因素线性回归方法,研究了1989—2017年南昌市景观格局的变化对热环境的影响,分析了城市发展过程中景观格局对地表温度的影响机制及... 基于1989、2001、2011和2017年Landsat遥感影像反演地表温度和提取地表覆盖信息,利用Uniform tiles和单因素线性回归方法,研究了1989—2017年南昌市景观格局的变化对热环境的影响,分析了城市发展过程中景观格局对地表温度的影响机制及影响因素。结果表明:1)1989—2017年,不透水表面景观面积增加了195.57 km^(2),城市热岛区域面积扩大了217.74 km^(2),2017年热岛区域面积已高达432.76 km^(2)。2)热环境区域的景观类型主要为不透水表面,占比每增加10%,温度上升0.62℃;而绿地、水体景观占比每增加10%,温度则下降0.79℃。3)不透水表面景观空间分布越集中,斑块越紧凑,密度越大,将导致地表温度升高,热岛效应进一步增强;绿地、水体景观则相反。景观格局是影响城市热岛效应的决定性因素,在城市化进程中,合理规划城区景观格局将有效缓解城市热环境现象。 展开更多

The response surface method(RSM) is one of the main approaches for analyzing reliability problems with implicit performance functions.An improved adaptive RSM based on uniform design(UD) and double weighted regression(DWR) was presented.In the proposed method,the basic principle of the iteratively adaptive response surface method is applied.Uniform design is used to sample the fitting points.And a double weighted regression system considering the distances from the fitting points to the limit state surface and to the estimated design points is set to determine the coefficients of the response surface model.Compared with the conventional approaches,the fitting points selected by UD are more representative,and a better approximation in the key region is also observed with DWR.Numerical examples show that the proposed method has good convergent capability and computational accuracy. 展开更多

The proposed approach, which is suitable for applications in arbitrary Gaussian noise environments, gives a closed-form representation of the estimated parameters, without spectral peak searching. In the case of the given design variables and constraint functions, this paper is concerned with the rapid overall parameters design of trajectory, propulsion and aerodynamics for long-range ballistic missiles based on the index of the minimum take-off mass.In contrast to the traditional subsystem independent design, this paper adopts the research idea of the combination of the subsystem independent design and the multisystem integration design.Firstly, the trajectory, propulsion and aerodynamics of the subsystem are separately designed by the engineering design, including the design of the minimum energy trajectory, the computation of propulsion system parameters, and the calculation of aerodynamic coefficient and dynamic derivative of the missile by employing the software of missile DATCOM. Then, the uniform design method is used to simplify the constraint conditions and the design variables through the integration design, and the accurate design of the optimized variables would be accomplished by adopting the uniform particle swarm optimization(PSO) algorithm. Finally, the automation design software is written for the three-stage solid ballistic missile. The take-off mass of 29 850 kg is derived by the subsystem independent design, and 20 constraints are reduced by employing the uniform design on the basis of 29 design variables and 32 constraints, and the take-off mass is dropped by 1 850 kg by applying the combination of the uniform design and PSO. The simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed hybrid optimization technique. 展开更多

In order to deal with the disadvantages of excessive grinding and non-uniformity in finished particle under high-pressure grinding rolls (HPGR) finished grinding system, four aspects were investigated, including evaluating indicators, effects of operating factors, effect of particle uniformity on the flotation and formation mechanism of particle uniformity. Experiment of HPGR finished grinding system, cationic reverse flotation experiment and simulation test of particle bed comminution under the condition of quasi-static were carried out. Theoretical analyses indicated that both of uniformity coefficient and average particle size should be included in the uniformity analysis of the mineral particles. The results show that the effect of circulation fan impeller speed on particle uniformity is the most evident, HPGR working pressure and roll gap are second and HPGR roller speed is the last. Average particle size has a more obvious effect on the grade of flotation concentrate while uniformity coefficient has a more obvious effect on the flotation recovery. Considering the two aspects of grade and recovery, the optimal uniformity coefficient for flotation is 1.1-1.2 and the optimal average particle size for flotation is 50-55 μm. The operating factors which promote the shielding effect and compact effect in the HPGR finished grinding system should be strengthened based on the uniformity of particles. 展开更多

Asphalt mixture pavement reheating is one of the important steps in hot in-place recycling(HIR).To improve the heating speed of asphalt pavement in HIR,based on the numerical analysis model of asphalt mixture heating process,a new multi-layer low-temperature heating method(MLHM)was proposed.Considering input heat flux,the thermal capacity and thermal resistance of asphalt mixture,the heat transfer model was established based on energy conservation law.By heating the asphalt mixture in layers,it changes the situation that the heat energy can only be input from the upper surface of the asphalt mixture pavement.Through the simulation of the heating method of asphalt mixture in the existing technology,the result shows that the existing heating methods lead to serious aging or charring of the asphalt mixture.By MLHM,the upper and the bottom of the asphalt mixture are heated at the same time,and the heating temperature is lower than other heat methods,which not only reduces the heating thickness and increases the heating area of the asphalt mixture pavement,but also improves the heating speed,saves the energy resource and ensures the heating quality.Especially,by MLHM,the heating uniformity is better and speed is faster. 展开更多
