From 14 th to 18 th century, the output of iron mine reached to 6450 t annually. During 1763 to 1773, the annual output of copper in Yunnan Province was 9200 t. In modern time, Chinese mining industry grew slowly. However, in 1950′s the mining geological organization were established in each administrative department and its affiliated mining companies. A set of regulations had also been established systematically. The mining geology has made the great contribution to reserve the mineral resources and to raise the economical benefit. Now resources have been found in many mine sites. The tasks facing us in future are to look for new deposits for old mine companies which are in shortage of resources and extend their service period; to involve in research for improv ing mining operational parameters and raise the economic benefit; to develop the technical market, and to provide service for development of mining industry reling on science and technology progress. 展开更多

Resource allocation for an equipment development task is a complex process owing to the inherent characteristics,such as large amounts of input resources,numerous sub-tasks,complex network structures,and high degrees of uncertainty.This paper presents an investigation into the influence of resource allocation on the duration and cost of sub-tasks.Mathematical models are constructed for the relationships of the resource allocation quantity with the duration and cost of the sub-tasks.By considering the uncertainties,such as fluctuations in the sub-task duration and cost,rework iterations,and random overlaps,the tasks are simulated for various resource allocation schemes.The shortest duration and the minimum cost of the development task are first formulated as the objective function.Based on a multi-objective particle swarm optimization(MOPSO)algorithm,a multi-objective evolutionary algorithm is constructed to optimize the resource allocation scheme for the development task.Finally,an uninhabited aerial vehicle(UAV)is considered as an example of a development task to test the algorithm,and the optimization results of this method are compared with those based on non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm-II(NSGA-II),non-dominated sorting differential evolution(NSDE)and strength pareto evolutionary algorithm-II(SPEA-II).The proposed method is verified for its scientific approach and effectiveness.The case study shows that the optimization of the resource allocation can greatly aid in shortening the duration of the development task and reducing its cost effectively. 展开更多

Hydraulic Energy Development of Changjiang Valley in First 5 Decades of 21st Century

The Changjiang River Valley is rich in hydraulic energy resources. A rough estimation of the technically developable volume and the economically developable volume for the Changjiang River Valley was drawn out on the basis of new data. According to the estimation, the developable water energy resources of the whole valley is 257 627.60 MW with an annual energy output of 1 195.142 billion kW·h - respectively amounting to 120.6% and 116.3% of the General Investigation result in 1980. The proportion of economically developable volume in the technically developable volume ranges the medium level in the world. According to the 3-step plan for the national economic and social development, the economic situation of our country will come up to the standard of medium-developed countries in the mid of the 21st century. Calculation reports from related departments show that the national electric power requirement in the Year 2050 will be 6 200 billion kW·h (basic scheme) ~11 600 billion kW·h (ideal scheme) while the electric power requirement of the South-west, Central and East areas of the nation within the Changjiang River Valley will amount to 44% ~ 50 %. In order to satisfy the electric power requirement of the national economic and social development, the development and utilization of the hydraulic energy in the Changjiang River Valley should be speeded up by stressing its strategic position and taking effective measures. The structure of the electric energy components of the three areas will be improved with the increasing proportion of the hydroelectricity. The hydroelectricity should be mainly developed in the South-west area; both the hydroelectric and fossil-fired power should be developed in the Central China; the fossil-fired power should be mainly developed in the combination of hydropower while nuclear power will be properly developed in the East China. In the Year 2050, the development of the economically developable hydraulic energy in the whole valley will be basically completed and the proportion of the hydropower in the electric energy components will be 40%. 展开更多

Model-informed drug develop⁃ment(MIDD)is the application of a various math⁃ematical,statistical,and biological models to facilitate drug development,decision making and regulatory review.As a quantitative tool,MIDD approaches allow an integration of information obtained from non-clinical studies and clinical trials in a drug development program.General understandings of the underlying biology,patho⁃physiology,and pharmacology can also be incor⁃porated into the model.MIDD is centered on knowledge and inferences generated from inte⁃grated models of the physicochemical character⁃istics of a molecule,its disposition in the body,and its mechanism of action,and how the drug might affect a disease from both an efficacy and a safety perspective.MIDD approaches have the potential to significantly streamline drug develop⁃ment,by improving clinical trial efficiency,opti⁃mizing dose and regimen and waive unneces⁃sary clinical studies.This presentation will use cases studies to demonstrate how to apply MIDD in early phase of clinical trials. 展开更多
