Comparing with the catalyst prepared by the chemical reduction method, the Ru-La/ZrO2 exhibited higher activity and better selectivity. At 140 ℃ and hydrogen pressure of 5 MPa, the C6H10 selectivity reached 70% at a C6H6 conversion of 35% for a reaction time was 5 min and the total La/Ru loading was 10%. Textural parameters of the catalyst were obtained by physical adsorption, BET surface area and specific pore volume measurements. The size, charge and chemical composition were characterized by means of HRTEM/STEM with EDX mapping, XPS, and FTIRS. These sites with Re/Pt = 2 were shown to be highly active and selective in the hydrogenation of carboxylic acid to alcohol under very mild conditions (T = 130 ℃, P = 50 bar). The reaction rate constant for the hydrogenation of hexanoic acid increased linearly with the Pt content. As for the homogeneous pincer-type Ru-organic complexes, the active Pt-ReOx sites can dissociate heterolytically the molecular hydrogen with the formation of hydroxyl groups and Pt hydride for hydrogenation of the carboxylic group. Indeed, TOF of 20 h 1 and selectivity of 98%-99% are approaching the values typical of homogeneous catalysts. The first order kinetics described well the experimental data obtained in a wide range of reaction conditions.展开更多

The influence of reaction conditions and the metal and acid sites of catalysts on the catalytic performance of catalyst in hydrogenation and selective ring opening of tetralin, 1,2,3,4-tetrahydronaphthalene(THN), was studied. It was found that the optimal reaction conditions were at a temperature of 280 °C, hydrogen pressure of 4 MPa, liquid hourly space velocity of 2 h^-1 and H2/THN ratio of 750. Under these optimal conditions, a high conversion of almost 100% was achieved on the 0.3 Pt/USY catalyst. XRD patterns and TEM images revealed that Pt particles were highly dispersed on the USY, favorable to the hydrogenation reaction of tetralin. Ammonia temperature-programmed desorption and Py-IR results indicated that the introduction of Pt can reduce the acid sites of USY, particularly the strong acid sites of USY. Thus, the hydrocracking reaction can be suppressed.展开更多

He...Thioetherification between mercaptan and diolefin is an efficient process to remove mercaptans in FCC gasoline at mild condition, during which the selective hydrogenation of diolefin to monoolefin is also expected. Here, Si O2 supported transition metal(Fe, Co, Ni, Mo and W) phosphides were tested for the thioetherification of isoprene and butanethiol on a fixed-bed reactor at 120℃ and 1.5 MPa H2, and their structure before and after reaction was characterized by means of XRD, HRTEM, N2 sorption, CO chemisorption, NH3-TPD, XPS and TG. It was found that, among different metal phosphides, Mo P/Si O2 showed the best performance, and the optimal nominal Mo P loading was 25%. Apart from the nature of metal, the density of metal and acid sites determined the catalyst performance. Metal site was mainly responsible for hydrogenation of isoprene, while acid site dominantly contributed to the thioetherification and the polymerization of olefins. Moreover, a balance between metallic and acidic functions is required to arrive at a desired performance. Excessive metal sites or acid sites led to the over-hydrogenation of isoprene or the severe polymerization of olefins, respectively. 25%Mo P/Si O2 was tested for 37 h time on stream, and butanethiol conversion maintained at 100%; although isoprene conversion remarkably decreased, the selectivity to isopentenes exceeded 80% after reaction for 11 h. We suggest that the deactivation of Mo P/Si O2 is mainly ascribed to the butanethiol poisoning and the carbonaceous deposit, especially the former.展开更多

文摘In order to investigate the hydrofining process of LCO for producing aromatics and gasoline, the selective hydrogenation of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs),a major component of light cycle oil(LCO),was studied using a NiMoW/Al_(2)O_(3)catalyst.Based on the study of the reversible hydrogenation reaction,PAHs in the selective hydrogenation process could be effectively simulated by the modeled CH and CH_(2) groups, and the hydrodesulfurization and hydrodenitrogenation kinetic models could be further established in this process. The results showed that the kinetic models developed could fit the experimental data effectively and predict the content of S,N,and aromatics in the selective hydrogenation products of LCO.

文摘The selective hydrogenation of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs)from fluid catalytic cracking(FCC)slurry extract was conducted in a batch reactor over aγ-Al_(2)O_(3)-supported bimetallic Ni-W catalyst. For the Ni-W/γ-Al_(2)O_(3) catalyst, the experiment run was divided into three processes according to the reaction conditions used:(1)the absence of hydrogenation as both temperature and pressure increased;(2)the desulfurization of FCC slurry extract under a fixed pressure as the temperature increased;and(3)the selective hydrogenation of PAHs when both pressure and temperature remained constant. The hydrogen consumption could be accurately calculated from the Redlich–Kwong equation of state. The results for the removal of PAHs with hydrogenation displayed an excellent fit to the first-order kinetics. The apparent activation energy was determined to be 20.80 kJ/mol.
文摘The highly dispersed Pt-ReOx (x _〈 1 ) sites ca. 0.5 nm in size were formed via a successive and strong inter- action of the Re precursor with titania and then of the Pt complex with deposited low-valent rhenium oxide clusters. The first order kinetics described well the experimental data obtained in a wide range of reaction conditions.
文摘In this study, different loadings of x%Ni_(2)P/γ-Al_(2)O_(3)(x=6%,9%,12%,15%,18%)catalysts with aluminum oxide(Al_(2)O_(3))as the carrier, nickel chloride(NiCl2)as the nickel(Ni)source, and ammonium hypophosphite(NH_(4)H_(2)PO_(2))as the phosphorus(P)source were prepared by the equal volume impregnation method to investigate the effects of different loadings on the performance of the selective hydrogenation of diolefins and thiol etherification in LPG.The physicochemical properties of the catalysts were characterized by XRD,BET,SEM,TEM,H_(2)-TPR,and XPS,and the catalytic activity of the catalysts was evaluated in a fixed-bed microreactor. The results showed that a change in the loading affected the catalyst crystalline phase structure and size, specific surface area,P coverage, active phase dispersion, and catalytic activity. At 6%,9%,and 12%loadings the catalysts had an Ni phase but there was no obvious Ni_(2)P phase in the nickel phosphide;at 15%loading a single Ni_(2)P phase was obtained, and at 18%loading both Ni_(2)P and Ni1_(2)P_(5) phases appeared. There was a P enrichment on the catalyst surface, and the higher the loading the more P species were enriched on the surface, but some of the P was lost during the catalyst reduction process due to the production of phosphine(PH3)gas.The 15%Ni_(2)P/γ-Al_(2)O_(3) catalyst had the largest Ni/Al ratio and the best dispersion. The Ni_(2)P active phase size was small at about 4.25 nm and Ni_(2)P was uniformly dispersed on the catalyst surface without agglomeration. The 15%Ni_(2)P/γ-Al_(2)O_(3) catalyst had the best catalytic activity at a pressure of 2.0 MPa,a liquid hourly space velocity(LHSV)of 3.0 h-1,and a hydrogen to hydrocarbon ratio of 12.The 1,3-butadiene conversion was 97.45%and the methanethiol removal was 100%at a temperature of 140℃.
文摘The effect of ammonia on the catalytic performance for 1-methylnaphthalene(1-MN) selective hydrogenation saturation was studied with Co-Mo/γ-Al_2O_3, Ni-W/γ-Al_2O_3, Ni-Mo/γ-Al_2O_3, and Ni-Mo-W/γ-Al_2O_3 catalysts. The results indicated that Ni-Mo-W/γ-Al_2O_3 catalyst exhibited the best performance for saturation of 1-MN. The introduction of NH3 remarkably inhibited the hydrogenation of 1-MN in the dynamic control area, but it had no effect in the thermodynamic control area. Besides, the mono-aromatics selectivity on the Ni-Mo-W and Ni-Mo catalysts was enhanced. However, it had little effect on the Ni-W and Co-Mo catalysts.
文摘In the present study,CNFs,ZnO and Al2O3 were deposited on the SMFs panels to investigate the deactivation mechanism of Pd-based catalysts in selective acetylene hydrogenation reaction. The examined supports were characterized by SEM,NH3-TPD and N2adsorption-desorption isotherms to indicate their intrinsic characteristics.Furthermore,in order to understand the mechanism of deactivation, the resulted green oil was characterized using FTIR and SIM DIS.FTIR results confirmed the presence of more unsaturated constituents and then, more branched hydrocarbons formed upon the reaction over alumina-supported catalyst in comparison with the ones supported on CNFs and ZnO,which in turn, could block the pores mouths.Besides the limited hydrogen transfer,N2 adsorption-desorption isotherms results supported that the lowest pore diameters of Al2O3/SMFs close to the surface led to fast deactivation, compared with the other catalysts, especially at higher temperatures.

文摘Product selectivity and reaction pathway are highly dependent on surface structure of heterogeneous catalysts. For vapor-phase hydrogenation of dimethyl oxalate(DMO),"EG route"(DMO→methyl glycolate(MG)ethylene glycol(EG)→ethanol(ET))and"MA route"(DMO→MG→methyl acetate(MA))were proposed over traditional Cu based catalysts and Mo-based or Fe-based catalysts, respectively.Herein, tunable yield of ET(93.7%)and MA(72.1%)were obtained through different reaction routes over WO_(x) modified Cu/SiO_(2) catalysts, and the corresponding reaction route was further proved by kinetic study and in-situ DRIFTS technology.Mechanistic studies demonstrated that H_(2) activation ability, acid density and Cu-WO_(x) interaction on the catalysts were tuned by regulating the surface W density, which resulted in the different reaction pathway and product selectivity. What's more, high yield of MA produced from DMO hydrogenation was firstly reported with the H_(2) pressure as low as 0.5 MPa.

文摘Ultrastable Y zeolite(USY)-supported Pt catalyst was prepared by gas-bubbling-assisted membrane reduction. Thus, the hydrocracking reaction can be suppressed.

文摘Selective hydrogenation of phenol to cyclohexanone is intriguing in chemical industry.Though a few catalysts with promising performances have been developed in recent years, the basic principle for catalyst design is still missing owing to the unclear catalytic mechanism. This work tries to unravel the mechanism of phenol hydro-genation and the reasons causing the selectivity discrepancy on noble metal catalysts under mild conditions. Results show that different reaction pathways always firstly converge to the formation of cyclohexanone under mild conditions. The selectivity discrepancy mainly depends on the activity for cyclohexanone sequential hy-drogenation,in which two factors are found to be responsible,i.e.the hydrogenation energy barrier and the competitive chemisorption between phenol and cyclohexanone,if the specific co-catalyzing effect of H 2 O on Ru is not considered.Based on the above results,a quantitative descriptor,E b(one/pl)/E a,in which E a can be further correlated to the d band center of the noble metal catalyst,is proposed by the first time to roughly evaluate and predict the selectivity to cyclohexanone for catalyst screening.

文摘Silica-supported CuCo catalysts were prepared by impregnation method with different impregnation sequence for higher alcohols synthesis. These catalysts were characterized by H2-TPR, XRD, N2 adsorption, XPS techniques and CO selective hydrogenation reaction measurement. The effects of impregnation sequence on the structure and performance of catalysts were investigated, and there were important influences on the selectivity to higher alcohols. There was a strong synergistic effect between copper and cobalt for the co-impregnated sample. The CuCo/SiO2 catalyst prepared by co- impregnation showed a better yield of total alcohols, and a higher selectivity to total alcohols which reached 51.5%.

文摘An alumina support was modified by fluorine via impregnation to investigate the effect of fluoride content on the reactivity of Ni–Mo/Al2O3 catalyst. The catalyst was characterized by X-ray diffraction,N2 adsorption–desorption(Brunauer–Emmett–Teller)isotherms,temperature-programmed desorption of ammonia,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and high-resolution transmission electron microscopy.Sulfur etherification performance of the catalyst was studied using a fixed-bed reactor. The results show that increasing fluoride content increases the pore volume and pore size but reduces the specific surface area.In addition, the degree of sulfidation of Ni first increases and then decreases. The amounts of strong acid and total acid also increase with increasing fluoride content.Performance evaluation of the catalyst reveals that the fluoride content has a minor effect on the thioetherification performance of the catalyst;however,an optimum fluoride content, which was determined to be 0.2%,can ensure lower olefin saturation and an efficient diene selective hydrogenation.

文摘Thioetherification between mercaptan and diolefin is an efficient process to remove mercaptans in FCC gasoline at mild condition, during which the selective hydrogenation of diolefin to monoolefin is also expected. We suggest that the deactivation of Mo P/Si O2 is mainly ascribed to the butanethiol poisoning and the carbonaceous deposit, especially the former.
