However, the currently existing models are based on rather local data and, thus, there is a lack of predictive tools to monitor mushroom yields on larger scales.Results: This work presents the first empirical models for predicting the annual yields of ectomycorrhizal mushrooms and related ecosystem services in Pinus sylvestris and Pinus pinaster stands in northern Spain, using a long-term dataset suitable to account for the combined effect of meteorological conditions and stand structure.Models were fitted for the following groups of fungi separately: all ectomycorrhizal mushrooms, edible mushrooms and marketed mushrooms. Our results show the influence of the weather variables(mainly precipitation) on mushroom yields as well as the relevance of the basal area of the forest stand that follows a right-skewed unimodal curve with maximum predicted yields at stand basal areas of 30–40 m2·ha-1.Conclusion: These models are the first empirical models for predicting the annual yields of ectomycorrhizal mushrooms in Pinus sylvestris and Pinus pinaster stands in northern Spain, being of the highest resolution developed to date and enable predictions of mushrooms productivity by taking into account weather conditions and forests’ location, composition and structure.展开更多
Blending contributes to create an opportunity to achieve the target feed material and helps optimize the run of mine(ROM)material.In addition,it allows mixing different materials and achieving a wide range of quality....Blending contributes to create an opportunity to achieve the target feed material and helps optimize the run of mine(ROM)material.In addition,it allows mixing different materials and achieving a wide range of quality.Then,multiple destinations can be considered for ROM.The present study seeks to develop a Mixed Integer Programming(MIP)model for the production scheduling of an iron ore mine.Based on this model,different destinations are considered for mine products with different specifications.To this aim,ten scenarios were considered with a number of different destinations.The results indicated that the maximum NPV in the multiple product scenarios is about 15%more than that of the single product scenarios.Further,30 realizations were used to evaluate the effect of grade and tonnage uncertainty.The reliability of the production plan was approximately 61.07%and 62.81%in the first and second period of exploitation,respectively.展开更多

Oil depots along products pipelines are important components of the pipeline transportation system and down-stream markets.The operating costs of oil depots account for a large proportion of the total system’s operat...Oil depots along products pipelines are important components of the pipeline transportation system and down-stream markets.The operating costs of oil depots account for a large proportion of the total system’s operating costs.Meanwhile,oil depots and pipelines form an entire system,and each operation in a single oil depot may have influence on others.It is a tough job to make a scheduling plan when considering the factors of delivering contaminated oil and batches migration.So far,studies simultaneously considering operating constraints and contaminated oil issues are rare.Aiming at making a scheduling plan with the lowest operating costs,the paper establishes a mixed-integer linear programming model,considering a sequence of operations,such as delivery, export, blending,fractionating and exchanging operations,and batch property differences of the same oil as well as influence of batch migration on contaminated volume.Moreover,the paper verifies the linear relationship between oil concentration and blending capability by mathematical deduction.Finally,the model is successfully applied to one of the product pipelines in China and proved to be practical.展开更多

In order to impro...A real time mixing module for high definition television (HDTV) data of SMPTE 274M and PC video data is designed. The hardware implementation, algorithm and simulation of the mixing module are given. In order to improve the capability of data processing, an anti-fuse FPGA chip and a mechanism of pipelining and modularization are adopted. With 6 parallel LUTs and a fast algorithm, it can mix 4∶2∶2 component signals in luminance and chrominance space respectively in real time. According to the simulation, the module has the ability to mix the uncompressed HDTV data with PC video data in real time, which can not be fulfilled by current ASIC chips. Furthermore, it can be extended to multi-stage mixing with the thoughts implied by the design. The mixing module can be widely used in HDTV production systems.展开更多
