Because of the ellipticity, not only the first electron to return but also the later return of tunneled electrons contribute significantly to NSDI. We mainly discuss two kinds of events of NSDI originating from the first and the second return separately. For the NSDI resulting from the recollision of the first return, the correlated electron momentum spectrum along the long axis of the laser polarization plane reveals an obvious V-like shape, located at the first and third quadrant. However, for the NSDI resulting from the recollision of the second return, the momenta of two electrons are distributed in the four quadrants uniformly. By analysing the trajectories of these two kinds, we find that the recollision energy and the laser phase at recollision are different for the first and second returning trajectories, which are responsible for the difference in the correlated behavior of the final electron momentum.展开更多

The turbulent motion of the CEL is investigated by a simple model, which is verified by particlein-cell(PIC) simulations. It is found that the compressed layer disperses in a few cycles of the laser duration, because the CEL comes back with a large velocity in the opposite direction of the laser incident. A larger wavelength laser can be used to tailor the proton beam by reducing the turbulence of the CEL in the region of the LP laser acceleration.展开更多

There are three leads connecting to the ring at different positionsl unpolarized current is injected to one of them, and the other two are output channels with different bias voltages. The spin polarization of current in the outgoing leads shows oscillations as a function of EP coupling strength owing to the quantum interference of EP states in the ring region. As temperature increases, the oscillations are evidently suppressed, implying decoherence of the EP states. The simulation shows that the magnitude of polarized current is sensitive to the location of the lead. The polarized current depends on the connecting position of the lead in a complicated way due to the spin-sensitive quantum interference effects caused by different phases accumulated by transmitting electrons with opposite spin states along different paths.展开更多

The calculation is based on an integral method developed in the vector theory of diffraction gratings, and the polarization characteristics obtained with a low-power test are in good agreement with the numerical calculated results. With the polarizer assembled in a miter bend in the ECRH transmission line, pure ordinary mode (O-mode) and extraordinary mode (X-mode) polarized waves are also expected in the high-power experiment, depending on the polarizer rotation angle and the toroidal injection angle of the electron cyclotron (EC) wave beam. Second-harmonic X-mode experiments were successfully explored in HL-2A. Experimental result revealed that the electron temperature increased from 0.8 keV (Ohmic heating phase) to 1.5 keV (second X-mode heating phase).展开更多

文摘In this paper,an analytical model is used to analyze the modulated polar mesospheric winter echoes(PMWE).The winter parameters were introduced to simulate the effects of different parameters during the artificial electron heating of PMWE.The important role of the charged dust particle in the creation of PMWE is confirmed again. It is found that during the heating of PMWE,the increases of the dust size, dust charge, electron temperature, initial electron density, and ion-neutral collision frequency cause the increase of the electron density irregularity, and hence the PMWE strength. However, with increasing the dust density, the electron density irregularity and the PMWE strength decrease.
文摘Theoretical calculation and experimental results for a polarizer with sinusoidal grooves used in the electron cyclotron resonance heating (ECRH) system of the HL-2A tokamak are presented. Experimental result revealed that the electron temperature increased from 0.8 keV (Ohmic heating phase) to 1.5 keV (second X-mode heating phase).

文摘With spin-polarized-dependent band gap renormalization effect taken into account, the energy-dependent evolu- tion of electron spin polarization in GaAs is calculated at room temperature and at a low temperature of 1OK. We consider the exciting light with right-handed circular polarization, and the calculation results show that the degree of electron spin polarization is dependent strongly on the quasi-Fermi levels of |1/2) and |- 1/2) spin conduction bands. At room temperature, the degree of electron spin polarization decreases sharply from 1 near the bottom of the conduction band, and then increases to a stable value above the quasi-Fermi level of the |- 1/2) band. The greater the quasi-Fermi level is, the higher the degree of electron spin polarization with excessive en- ergy above the quasi-Fermi level of the |- 1/2) band can be achieved. At low temperature, the degree of electron spin polarization decreases from 1 sharply near the bottom of the conduction band, and then increases with the excessive energy, and in particular, up to a maximum of i above the quasi-Fermi level of the |1/2) band.

文摘Detailed calculations are carried out for the electron-impact excitation cross sections from the ground state to the individual magnetic sublevels of the 1s2s^(2)2p^(3)/2 J=2 excited state of highly-charged beryllium-like ions by using a fully relativistic distorted-wave(RDW)method.The contributions of the Breit interaction to the linear polarization of the 1s2s^(2)2p^(3)/2 J=2→1s22s2 J=0 magnetic quadrupole(M2)line are investigated systematically for the beryllium isoelectronic sequence with 42≤Z≤92.It is found that the Breit interaction depolarizes significantly the linear polarization of the M2 fluorescence radiation and that these depolarization effects increase as the incident electron energy and/or the atomic number is enlarged.

文摘This paper reports that the ratios of double to single electron loss cross-section (R) of O^2+ in collision with Ar and He at the velocity of 1 -4 vo(vo is the Bohr velocity) have been obtained by the coincidence technique. The trend of R - V in the experiment indicates that the effective charge varies with injected velocity. The effective charge can be obtained by the n-body classical trajectory Monte Carlo method, which is interpreted by the molecular Coulomb over barrier model.
