The graded density impactor(GDI)dynamic loading technique is crucial for acquiring the dynamic physical property parameters of materials used in weapons.The accuracy and timeliness of GDI structural design are key to achieving controllable stress-strain rate loading.In this study,we have,for the first time,combined one-dimensional fluid computational software with machine learning methods.We first elucidated the mechanisms by which GDI structures control stress and strain rates.Subsequently,we constructed a machine learning model to create a structure-property response surface.The results show that altering the loading velocity and interlayer thickness has a pronounced regulatory effect on stress and strain rates.In contrast,the impedance distribution index and target thickness have less significant effects on stress regulation,although there is a matching relationship between target thickness and interlayer thickness.Compared with traditional design methods,the machine learning approach offers a10^(4)—10^(5)times increase in efficiency and the potential to achieve a global optimum,holding promise for guiding the design of GDI. 展开更多

In this paper,an intelligent control method applying on numerical virtual flight is proposed.The proposed algorithm is verified and evaluated by combining with the case of the basic finner projectile model and shows a good application prospect.Firstly,a numerical virtual flight simulation model based on overlapping dynamic mesh technology is constructed.In order to verify the accuracy of the dynamic grid technology and the calculation of unsteady flow,a numerical simulation of the basic finner projectile without control is carried out.The simulation results are in good agreement with the experiment data which shows that the algorithm used in this paper can also be used in the design and evaluation of the intelligent controller in the numerical virtual flight simulation.Secondly,combined with the real-time control requirements of aerodynamic,attitude and displacement parameters of the projectile during the flight process,the numerical simulations of the basic finner projectile’s pitch channel are carried out under the traditional PID(Proportional-Integral-Derivative)control strategy and the intelligent PID control strategy respectively.The intelligent PID controller based on BP(Back Propagation)neural network can realize online learning and self-optimization of control parameters according to the acquired real-time flight parameters.Compared with the traditional PID controller,the concerned control variable overshoot,rise time,transition time and steady state error and other performance indicators have been greatly improved,and the higher the learning efficiency or the inertia coefficient,the faster the system,the larger the overshoot,and the smaller the stability error.The intelligent control method applying on numerical virtual flight is capable of solving the complicated unsteady motion and flow with the intelligent PID control strategy and has a strong promotion to engineering application. 展开更多

A new problem that classical statistical methods are incapable of solving is reliability modeling and assessment when multiple numerical control machine tools(NCMTs) reveal zero failures after a reliability test. Thus, the zero-failure data form and corresponding Bayesian model are developed to solve the zero-failure problem of NCMTs, for which no previous suitable statistical model has been developed. An expert-judgment process that incorporates prior information is presented to solve the difficulty in obtaining reliable prior distributions of Weibull parameters. The equations for the posterior distribution of the parameter vector and the Markov chain Monte Carlo(MCMC) algorithm are derived to solve the difficulty of calculating high-dimensional integration and to obtain parameter estimators. The proposed method is applied to a real case; a corresponding programming code and trick are developed to implement an MCMC simulation in Win BUGS, and a mean time between failures(MTBF) of 1057.9 h is obtained. Given its ability to combine expert judgment, prior information, and data, the proposed reliability modeling and assessment method under the zero failure of NCMTs is validated. 展开更多

In order to optimize the embedded system implementation for Ethernet-based computer numerical control (CNC) system, it is very necessary to establish the performance analysis model and further adopt the codesign method from the control, communication and computing perspectives. On the basis of analyzing real-time Ethemet, system architecture, time characteristic parameters of control-loop ere, a performance analysis model for real-time Ethemet-based CNC system was proposed, which is able to include the timing effects caused by the implementation platform in the simulation. The key for establishing the model is accomplished by designing the error analysis module and the controller nodes. Under the restraint of CPU resource and communication bandwidth, the experiment with a case study was conducted, and the results show that if the deadline miss ratio of data packets is 0.2%, then the percentage error is 1.105%. The proposed model can be used at several stages of CNC system development. 展开更多

To solve this problem, a new method with numerical simulation based on heading control is applied to reduce the risk of operation of The Arctic Tandem Offloading Terminal(ATOT),which includes an offloading icebreaker(OIB) moored to a submerged turret and a shuttle tanker moored at the stern of the OIB in this paper. An icebreaking tanker, MT Uikku, was modeled in a simulation program. Then the level ice load on the tanker was calculated with different ice thicknesses and drift speeds, after which a heading controller assisted with mooring system is used to simulate the horizontal motion of the tanker under the ice action. 展开更多

Cavitation is a destructive phenomenon in control valves.In order to delay cavitation,a multi-series of perforated cylindrical plates,called trims,are used.Previously,the effects of orifice diameter and different types of trims have been investigated.In this study,by numerical analysis,a globe control valve was investigated by employing four different cases(without trim,with one trim,with two and three trims)and the impact of the number of these trims on the intensity,formation region and the initiation point of cavitation was analyzed.It was found that the addition of one stage or two stages of trims reduces the intensity and delays the onset of cavitation,relative to the valve without trim.However,no significant differences in terms of intensity and initiation point of cavitation were observed in the cases where two or three trims were used.Therefore,due to the high cost of producing the trims,and the severe drop in flow coefficient,it is not economically and technically justified to increase the number of trims to more than three. 展开更多

For contact dominated numerical control(NC) bending process of tube, the effect of friction on bending deformation behaviors should be focused on to achieve precision bending forming. A three dimensional(3D) elastic-plastic finite element(FE) model of NC bending process was established under ABAQUS/Explicit platform, and its reliability was validated by the experiment. Then, numerical study on bending deformation behaviors under different frictions between tube and various dies was explored from multiple aspects such as wrinkling, wall thickness change and cross section deformation. The results show that the large friction of wiper die-tube reduces the wrinkling wave ratio η and cross section deformation degree ΔD and increases the wall thinning degree Δt. The large friction of mandrel-tube causes large η, Δt and ΔD, and the onset of wrinkling near clamp die. The large friction of pressure die-tube reduces Δt and ΔD, and the friction on this interface has little effect on η. The large friction of bending die-tube reduces η and ΔD, and the friction on this interface has little effect on Δt. The reasonable friction coefficients on wiper die-tube, mandrel-tube, pressure die-tube and bending die-tube of 21-6-9(0Cr21Ni6Mn9N) stainless steel tube in NC bending are 0.05-0.15, 0.05-0.15, 0.25-0.35 and 0.25-0.35, respectively. The results can provide a guideline for applying the friction conditions to establish the robust bending environment for stable and precise bending deformation of tube bending. 展开更多

Thick metal plate rolling process has become more and more important in building a flat roof of drilling on the bottom at sea. This is because not only the product quality requirement higher and higher but also the marketing competition. To improve the process of thick metal plate rolling and to increase productivity a numerical controlled rolling process is developed, which include the process planning, the mathematical model establishment and the numerical control system development. The process is for the 17 000 kN×3 000 mm movable up roller bending machine. According to the machine configuration non-symmetry rolling process is planed. This makes it possible to integrate all the steps of plate shaping up such as end side bending, several times of semi-shape bending and the last shape finishing. Since the process will perform under the numerical controlled condition whole steps of the process are considered can be worked in the automatic cycle. The mathematic model consists of two sections, the theory model and the experience parameters model. Which takes the original plate parameters such as geometry and mechanics, characters of the machine such as the movement limits, tonnage and so on as input and calculates all the parameters needed in process performing. Meanwhile, the mathematic Model is totally adapted to the control system. The numerical control system development scheme is based on all the works above. Here, a system plan is provided. The functional modules and hardware selection, in detail, are introduced. The system software on top level and the controlling software for controller are developed. And some unit techniques in the system such as timer setting, communication between system and controller, video integration, and the ability of resisting impact force are introduced. The process has been used successfully in production for more than two years. Practice approves that the process is robust. 展开更多

In the process of numerical control machining simulation,the workpiece surface is usually described with the uniform triangular mesh model.To alleviate the contradiction between the simulation speed and accuracy in this model,two improved methods,i.e.,the local refinement triangular mesh modeling method and the adaptive triangular mesh modeling method were presented.The simulation results show that when the final shape of the workpiece is known and its mathematic representation is simple,the local refinement triangular mesh modeling method is preferred;when the final shape of the workpiece is unknown and its mathematic description is complicated,the adaptive triangular mesh modeling method is more suitable.The experimental results show that both methods are more targeted and practical and can meet the requirements of real-time and precision in simulation. 展开更多

During the compaction of a road subgrade, the mechanical parameters of the soil mass change in real time, but current research assumes that these parameters remain unchanged. In order to address this discrepancy, this paper establishes a relationship between the degree of compaction K and strain ε. The relationship between the compaction degree K and the shear strength of soil(cohesion c and frictional angle φ) was clearly established through indoor experiments. The subroutine UMAT in ABAQUS finite element numerical software was developed to realize an accurate calculation of the subgrade soil compaction quality. This value was compared and analyzed against the assumed compaction value of the model, thereby verifying the accuracy of the intelligent compaction calculation results for subgrade soil. On this basis, orthogonal tests of the influential factors(frequency, amplitude, and quality) for the degree of compaction and sensitivity analysis were carried out. Finally, the ‘acceleration intelligent compaction value’, which is based on the acceleration signal, is proposed for a compaction meter value that indicates poor accuracy. The research results can provide guidance and basis for further research into the accurate control of compaction quality for roadbeds and pavements. 展开更多

Abstract: A joint solution model of variabk:-mass flow in two-phase region and fluid-solid coupling heat transfer, concerned about the charge process of variable-mass thermodynamic system, is built up and calculated by the finite element method (FEM). The results are basically consistent with relative experimental data. The calculated average heat transfer coefficient reaches 1.7~105 W/(m2. K). When the equal percentage valve is used, the system needs the minimum requirements of valve control, but brings the highest construction cost. With the: decrease of initial steam pressure, the heat transfer intensity also weakens but the steam flow increases. With the initial water filling coefficient increasing or the temperature of steam supply decreasing, the amount of accumulative steam flow increases with the growth of steam pressure. When the pressure of steam supply drops, the steam flow gradient increases during the maximum opening period of control valve, and causes the maximum steam flow to increase. 展开更多

If not suppressed quickly, a belt fire could easily lead to airflow disorder and undermine the ventilation system. However, belt fire can be prevented effectively by establishing fire airflow control system. In this work, the 5th belt roadway of Kongzhuang coal mine was taken as the object of investigation, where geometrical models of this roadway were established firstly. Then, based on mathematical model of fire smoke flow, the CO volume fraction, smoke density distribution, air temperature and pollutant velocity vector in the roadway before and after taking airflow control measures were simulated by using Fluent software. It can be known from the simulation that with the normal ventilation status in 5th belt roadway, the countercurrent of smoke does not happen when a fire occurs; the roadway's section is almost filled with CO at 10 m downstream from the fire source, and with air velocity getting stable gradually, the CO concentration reaches about 15 %. After taking airflow control measures, the effect range of temperature field which are harmful to the miners decreases from 69 m to 30 m; and the distance of the roadway fully filled with CO is 5 m farther than that before taking measures. Finally, according to the numerical simulation results and the actual condition of the belt roadway, the warning and automatic remote airflow control system with short-circuit method for the 5th belt roadway was designed to guarantee the safety production. 展开更多

A novel adaptive fault-tolerant control scheme in the differential algebraic framework was proposed for attitude control of a heavy lift launch vehicle (HLLV). By using purely mathematical transformations, the decoupled input-output representations of HLLV were derived, rendering three decoupled second-order systems, i.e., pitch, yaw and roll channels. Based on a new type of numerical differentiator, a differential algebraic observer (DAO) was proposed for estimating the system states and the generalized disturbances, including various disturbances and additive fault torques. Driven by DAOs, three improved proportional-integral- differential (PID) controllers with disturbance compensation were designed for pitch, yaw and roll control. All signals in the closed-loop system were guaranteed to be ultimately uniformly bounded by utilization of Lyapunov's indirect method. The convincing numerical simulations indicate that the proposed control scheme is successful in achieving high performance in the presence of parametric perturbations, external disturbances, noisy corruptions, and actuator faults. 展开更多

This paper investigates a signal difference-based dead- band H∞ control approach for networked control systems (NCSs) with limited resources. The effects of variable network-induced de- lays, sampling intervals and data transmitting deadbands are con- sidered simultaneously and the model of the NCS is presented. A Lyapunov functional is adopted, which makes full use of the network characteristic information including the bounds of net- work delay (BND), the bounds of sampling interval (BSI) and the bounds of transmission deadband (BTD). In the meanwhile, the new H∞ performance analysis and controller design conditions for the NCSs are proposed, which describe the relationship of BND, BSI, BTD and the system's performance. Three examples are used to illustrate the advantages of the proposed methods. The results have shown that the proposed method not only effectively reduces the data traffic, but also guarantees the system asymptotically sta- ble and achieves the prescribed H∞ disturbance attenuation level. 展开更多

The advantage of this class of method is such that the amount of work calculating one integration with parameters becomes that of two interpolations, when the system of nonlinear equations is solved on the right hand side function. The other class of method is the equivalence substitution method for avoiding calculating derivative on the right hand side function. In order to avoid calculation derivatives, two equivalence substitution methods are proposed here. 西部煤炭基地是我国能源安全保障的核心“压舱石”,为提高资源采出率小煤柱临空巷道广泛应用,小煤柱临空巷道稳定性问题凸显。论文以国家能源集团麦垛山煤矿某工作面临空巷道为研究对象,构建小煤柱临空巷道力学模型,量化小煤柱临空侧顶... 西部煤炭基地是我国能源安全保障的核心“压舱石”,为提高资源采出率小煤柱临空巷道广泛应用,小煤柱临空巷道稳定性问题凸显。论文以国家能源集团麦垛山煤矿某工作面临空巷道为研究对象,构建小煤柱临空巷道力学模型,量化小煤柱临空侧顶板围岩下沉量与小煤柱支撑力关联性,探究围岩调控机制;采用朴素贝叶斯模型建立煤柱稳定性辨识模型,分别判断调控前后煤柱稳定性;通过精细化三维数值计算,研究临空巷道小煤柱围岩调控效果,并开展现场实施验证。结果表明:通过构建4种不同断裂线位置覆岩结构,推导得到了临空巷道直接顶最大下沉量与小煤柱支撑强度之间存在负相关。说明可通过提高小煤柱强度进而控制直接顶下沉,改善巷道围岩失稳问题;基于朴素贝叶斯及11项围岩参数建立煤柱稳定性辨识模型,准确率Ac达到0.9537,满足辨识要求。并对原煤柱和改性调控后煤柱进行辨识,从算法角度证明了调控方案的可行性;通过FLAC3D数值模拟围岩改性协同调控方案前后对比,煤柱应力提升了57.6%,变形量最低减少了22.8%;支护体应力降低,最大位移量减少了31.2%。两帮应力差值减小,巷道围岩应力分布更加平衡;方案现场实施得到煤柱应力最大提高至2.325倍,且应力波动较稳定,顶板、两帮变形量减少超80%。验证了围岩改性协同调控方案对小煤柱临空巷道变形破坏防治的可行性,保证了巷道围岩稳定性。研究结果为西部矿区临空巷道小煤柱科学设计提供基础支撑,为实现西部矿区强采动小煤柱临空巷道失稳防治提供借鉴。 展开更多

天然气掺氨燃烧技术凭借在降低碳排放方面的巨大潜力,已成为全球研究焦点。氨在燃烧过程中存在着火困难、火焰传播速度缓慢以及易被吹熄等诸多问题,而天然气的掺入能够显著改善这些问题,也推动了氨燃料的广泛应用,为清洁能源的开发开辟... 天然气掺氨燃烧技术凭借在降低碳排放方面的巨大潜力,已成为全球研究焦点。氨在燃烧过程中存在着火困难、火焰传播速度缓慢以及易被吹熄等诸多问题,而天然气的掺入能够显著改善这些问题,也推动了氨燃料的广泛应用,为清洁能源的开发开辟了新途径。首先从技术可行性与经济可行性方面对天然气掺氨燃烧技术的应用潜力进行评估,分析其在能源转型进程中的积极意义。接着,借助反应动力学的研究成果,分析了氨与天然气掺混燃烧的化学反应机理。在此基础上,从实验研究、数值模拟以及低氮稳燃控制策略等方面,综述了国内外在该领域的最新研究动态,指出目前不同机理模型在模拟以及实验预测普适性方面仍存在显著差异,未来需结合跨尺度模拟发展能够兼顾精度与效率以及适应性更强的氨燃烧预测模型。最后,归纳了天然气掺氨燃烧技术在实际应用中遭遇的挑战,并指出未来的研究方向,旨在为这一技术的深入发展提供理论依据与实践指引。 展开更多

为研究前缘小翼对风力机翼型抗风沙冲蚀性能的影响,采用RANS方程耦合离散项DPM模型开展风力机翼型风沙环境下的数值模拟研究。研究表明适当位置加装前缘小翼能够实现在提升翼型气动性能的同时增强翼型的抗风沙冲蚀磨损能力,在前缘小翼弦... 为研究前缘小翼对风力机翼型抗风沙冲蚀性能的影响,采用RANS方程耦合离散项DPM模型开展风力机翼型风沙环境下的数值模拟研究。研究表明适当位置加装前缘小翼能够实现在提升翼型气动性能的同时增强翼型的抗风沙冲蚀磨损能力,在前缘小翼弦长25 mm,与主翼型相对距离为125 mm圆弧范围内安装前缘小翼能获得良好的抗冲蚀磨损效果,但在部分安装位置会出现失速攻角减小的情况。通过对比不同主翼型下前缘小翼的抗风沙冲蚀磨损性能,研究发现前缘小翼的抗风沙冲蚀磨损作用更适用于非对称翼型并能使相对厚度较大的翼型磨损量后移。 展开更多
