In the near-infrared(NIR)spectroscopic data of complex sample systems,such as tobacco leaves,nonlinearity is fairly significant between the absorbance and concentration.This nonlinearity severely degrades the quantita...In the near-infrared(NIR)spectroscopic data of complex sample systems,such as tobacco leaves,nonlinearity is fairly significant between the absorbance and concentration.This nonlinearity severely degrades the quantitative results of traditional methods,such as partial least squares regression(PLS),which can be used to construct linear models.The problem was addressed in this study by using deep learning(DL).We employed three different DL models:a one-dimensional convolutional neural network(1D CNN),a deep neural network(DNN),and a stacked autoencoder with feedforward neural networks(SAE-FNNs).By carefully selecting and tuning the architectures and parameters of these models,we were able to find the most suitable model for dealing with such nonlinear relationships.Our experimental findings reveal that both the DNN and the SAE-FNN models excel in addressing the nonlinear issues of pectin concentration in tobacco,surpassing the performance of the classic linear model(PLS).Specifically,the DNN model stands out for its low average root mean squared error of prediction(RMSEP)value and small standard deviation(SD)of RMSEPs,leading to a tighter and more centered distribution of residuals in the prediction set.These DL models not only proficiently identify complex patterns within NIR data but also boast high prediction accuracy and fast implementation,demonstrating their effectiveness in analytical applications.展开更多

The generation of optical vortices from nonlinear photonic crystals(NPCs)with spatially modulated second-order nonlinearity offers a promising approach to extend the working wavelength and topological charge of vortex...The generation of optical vortices from nonlinear photonic crystals(NPCs)with spatially modulated second-order nonlinearity offers a promising approach to extend the working wavelength and topological charge of vortex beams for various applications.In this work,the second harmonic(SH)optical vortex beams generated from nonlinear fork gratings under Gaussian beam illumination are numerically investigated.The far-field intensity and phase distributions,as well as the orbital angular momentum(OAM)spectra of the SH beams,are analyzed for different structural topological charges and diffraction orders.Results reveal that higher-order diffraction and larger structural topological charges lead to angular interference patterns and non-uniform intensity distributions,deviating from the standard vortex profile.To optimize the SH vortex quality,the effects of the fundamental wave beam waist,crystal thickness,and grating duty cycle are explored.It is shown that increasing the beam waist can effectively suppress diffraction order interference and improve the beam’s quality.This study provides theoretical guidance for enhancing the performance of nonlinear optical devices based on NPCs.展开更多

This paper presents an overview of recent developments on the control of linear and nonlinear systems when the control input is subject to quantization or the quantized states or outputs are used as feedback measurements. The co-existence of high-dimeasionality, quantization, nonlinearity and uncertainty poses great challenges to quantized control of nonlinear systems and thus calls for new ideas and techniques. The field of quantized nonlinear control is still at its infancy. Preliminary results in our recent work based on input-to-state stability and cyclic-small-gain theorems are reviewed. 文摘The generation of optical vortices from nonlinear photonic crystals(NPCs)with spatially modulated second-order nonlinearity offers a promising approach to extend the working wavelength and topological charge of vortex beams for various applications.In this work,the second harmonic(SH)optical vortex beams generated from nonlinear fork gratings under Gaussian beam illumination are numerically investigated.The far-field intensity and phase distributions,as well as the orbital angular momentum(OAM)spectra of the SH beams,are analyzed for different structural topological charges and diffraction orders.Results reveal that higher-order diffraction and larger structural topological charges lead to angular interference patterns and non-uniform intensity distributions,deviating from the standard vortex profile.To optimize the SH vortex quality,the effects of the fundamental wave beam waist,crystal thickness,and grating duty cycle are explored.It is shown that increasing the beam waist can effectively suppress diffraction order interference and improve the beam’s quality.This study provides theoretical guidance for enhancing the performance of nonlinear optical devices based on NPCs.

文摘In this paper,a new technique is introduced to construct higher-order iterative methods for solving nonlinear systems.The order of convergence of some iterative methods can be improved by three at the cost of introducing only one additional evaluation of the function in each step.Furthermore,some new efficient methods with a higher-order of convergence are obtained by using only a single matrix inversion in each iteration.Analyses of convergence properties and computational efficiency of these new methods are made and testified by several numerical problems.By comparison,the new schemes are more efficient than the corresponding existing ones,particularly for large problem sizes.

文摘In order to get rid of the dependence on high-precision centrifuges in accelerometer nonlinear coefficients calibration,this paper proposes a system-level calibration method for field condition.Firstly,a 42-dimension Kalman filter is constructed to reduce impact brought by turntable.Then,a biaxial rotation path is designed based on the accelerometer output model,including orthogonal 22 positions and tilt 12 positions,which enhances gravity excitation on nonlinear coefficients of accelerometer.Finally,sampling is carried out for calibration and further experiments.The results of static inertial navigation experiments lasting 4000 s show that compared with the traditional method,the proposed method reduces the position error by about 390 m.
文摘Exact estimation of space object attitude parameters is a great challenge.The effectiveness of conventional attitude estimation approaches based on target sizes suffers a significant reduction when occlusion exists.This paper proposes an innovative approach to estimate the attitude parameters for space objects based on inverse synthetic aperture radar(ISAR)image sequences.The formulation for nonlinear size constraints(NSC)is developed by accounting for the characteristics of object size variation in ISAR image sequences.The multi-start framework for global optimization and the Broyden-Fletcher-Goldfarb-Shanno(BFGS)based quasi-Newton iterative method are combined with and used for more accurate estimation of space object’s attitude parameters.Furthermore,the Cramer-Rao lower bound(CRLB)of attitude parameter estimates is derived.Comparative experiments demonstrate the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed method.
文摘This article deals with the investigation of the effects of porosity distributions on nonlinear free vibration and transient analysis of porous functionally graded skew(PFGS)plates.The effective material properties of the PFGS plates are obtained from the modified power-law equations in which gradation varies through the thickness of the PFGS plate.A nonlinear finite element(FE)formulation for the overall PFGS plate is derived by adopting first-order shear deformation theory(FSDT)in conjunction with von Karman’s nonlinear strain displacement relations.The governing equations of the PFGS plate are derived using the principle of virtual work.The direct iterative method and Newmark’s integration technique are espoused to solve nonlinear mathematical relations.The influences of the porosity distributions and porosity parameter indices on the nonlinear frequency responses of the PFGS plate for different skew angles are studied in various parameters.The effects of volume fraction grading index and skew angle on the plate’s nonlinear dynamic responses for various porosity distributions are illustrated in detail.
文摘The main focus is nonlinear model-based dynamic positioning (DP) control system design. A nonlinear uniform global exponential stability (UGES) observer produces noise-free estimates of the position, the slowly varying environmental disturbances and the velocity, which are used in a proportional-derivative (PD) + feedforward control law. The stability of this observer-controller system is proved by introducing a specific nonlinear cascaded system. The simulation results have successfully demonstrated the performance of designed DP control system.

文摘This paper proposes the nonlinear direct data-driven control from theoretical analysis and practical engineering,i.e.,unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)formation flight system.Firstly,from the theoretical point of view,consider one nonlinear closedloop system with a nonlinear plant and nonlinear feed-forward controller simultaneously.To avoid the complex identification process for that nonlinear plant,a nonlinear direct data-driven control strategy is proposed to design that nonlinear feed-forward controller only through the input-output measured data sequence directly,whose detailed explicit forms are model inverse method and approximated analysis method.Secondly,from the practical point of view,after reviewing the UAV formation flight system,nonlinear direct data-driven control is applied in designing the formation controller,so that the followers can track the leader’s desired trajectory during one small time instant only through solving one data fitting problem.Since most natural phenomena have nonlinear properties,the direct method must be the better one.Corresponding system identification and control algorithms are required to be proposed for those nonlinear systems,and the direct nonlinear controller design is the purpose of this paper.

文摘The PD-type iterative learning control design of a class of affine nonlinear time-delay systems with external disturbances is considered. Sufficient conditions guaranteeing the convergence of the n-norm of the tracking error are derived. It is shown that the system outputs can be guaranteed to converge to desired trajectories in the absence of external disturbances and output measurement noises. And in the presence of state disturbances and measurement noises, the tracking error will be bounded uniformly. A numerical simulation example is presented to validate the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.
文摘A modified unscented particle filtering scheme for nonlinear tracking is proposed, in view of the potential drawbacks (such as, particle impoverishment and numerical sensitivity in calculating the prior) of the conventional unscented particle filter (UPF) confronted in practice. Specifically, a different derivation of the importance weight is presented in detail. The proposed method can avoid the calculation of the prior and reduce the effects of the impoverishment problem caused by sampling from the proposal distribution, Simulations have been performed using two illustrative examples and results have been provided to demonstrate the validity of the modified UPF as well as its improved performance over the conventional one.

文摘Quantized control systems design is motivated by the convergence of controls and communications to address modern engineering applications involving the use of information technology. This paper presents an overview of recent developments on the control of linear and nonlinear systems when the control input is subject to quantization or the quantized states or outputs are used as feedback measurements. The co-existence of high-dimeasionality, quantization, nonlinearity and uncertainty poses great challenges to quantized control of nonlinear systems and thus calls for new ideas and techniques. The field of quantized nonlinear control is still at its infancy. Preliminary results in our recent work based on input-to-state stability and cyclic-small-gain theorems are reviewed. The open problems in quantized nonlinear control are also outlined.
