In this paper, with the consideration of vehicle to grid(V2 G), two charging and discharging load modes of EVs were constructed. One was the disorderly charging and discharging mode based on travel habits, and the other was the orderly charging and discharging mode based on time-of-use(TOU) price;Monte Carlo method was used to verify the case. The scheme of the capacity optimization of photovoltaic charging station under two different charging and discharging modes with V2 G was proposed. The mathematical models of the objective function with the maximization of energy efficiency, the minimization of the investment and the operation cost of the charging system were established. The range of decision variables, constraints of the requirements of the power balance and the strategy of energy exchange were given. NSGA-Ⅱ and NSGA-SA algorithm were used to verify the cases, respectively. In both algorithms, by comparing with the simulation results of the two different modes, it shows that the orderly charging and discharging mode with V2 G is obviously better than the disorderly charging and discharging mode in the aspects of alleviating the pressure of power grid, reducing system investment and improving energy efficiency.展开更多

Firstly, given three objectives (to minimize the C.G. offset, the cross moments of inertia and the space debris impact risk), we develop a threedimensional layout optimization model. Unlike most of the previous works just focusing on mass characteristics of the system, a space debris impact risk index is developed. Secondly, we develop an efficient optimization framework for the integration of computer-aided design (CAD) software as well as the optimization algorithm to obtain the Pareto front of the layout optimization problem. Thirdly, after obtaining the candidate solutions, we present a multi-attribute decision making approach, which integrates the smart Pareto filter and the correlation coefficient and standard deviation (CCSD) method to select the best tradeoff solutions on the optimal Pareto fronts. Finally, the framework and the decision making approach are applied to a case study of a satellite platform.展开更多

Engine noise and cylinder pressure measurement experiments were carried out. And the improved attenuation curves were obtained, by which the engine noise was predicted. The effect of fuel injection parameters in combustion noise was investigated during the combustion process. At last, the method combining single variable optimization and multivariate combination was introduced to online optimize the combustion noise. The results show that injection parameters can affect the cylinder pressure rise rate and heat release rate, and consequently affect the cylinder pressure load and pressure oscillation to influence the combustion noise. Among these parameters, main injection advance angle has the greatest influence on the combustion noise, while the pilot injection interval time takes the second place, and the pilot injection quantity is of minimal impact. After the optimal design of the combustion noise, the average sound pressure level of the engine is distinctly reduced by 1.0 d B(A) generally. Meanwhile, the power, emission and economy performances are ensured.展开更多

Inspired by division of the same species into multiple swarms for different objectives and information sharing among these swarms in nature, each physical machine in the data center is considered a swarm and employs improved multi-objective particle swarm optimization to find out non-dominated solutions with one objective in MSMOOA. The particles in each swarm are divided into two classes and adopt different strategies to evolve cooperatively. One class of particles can communicate with several swarms simultaneously to promote the information sharing among swarms and the other class of particles can only exchange information with the particles located in the same swarm. Furthermore, in order to avoid the influence by the elastic available resources, a manager server is adopted in the cloud data center to collect the available resources for scheduling. The quality of the proposed method with other related approaches is evaluated by using hybrid and parallel workflow applications. The experiment results highlight the better performance of the MSMOOA than that of compared algorithms.展开更多

文摘To improve the safety of trains running in an undesirable wind environment,a novel louver-type wind barrier is proposed and further studied in this research using a scaled wind tunnel simulation with 1:40 scale models.Based on the aerodynamic performance of the train-bridge system, the parameters of the louver-type wind barrier are optimized.Compared to the case without a wind barrier,it is apparent that the wind barrier improves the running safety of trains, since the maximum reduction of the moment coefficient of the train reaches 58%using the louver-type wind barrier, larger than that achieved with conventional wind barriers(fence-type and grid-type).A louver-type wind barrier has more blade layers, and the rotation angle of the adjustable blade of the louver-type wind barrier is 90–180°(which induces the flow towards the deck surface),which is more favorable for the aerodynamic performance of the train.Comparing the 60°,90°and 120°wind fairings of the louver-type wind barrier blade, the blunt fairing is disadvantageous to the operational safety of the train.

文摘Large-scale electric vehicles(EVs) connected to the micro grid would cause many problems. In both algorithms, by comparing with the simulation results of the two different modes, it shows that the orderly charging and discharging mode with V2 G is obviously better than the disorderly charging and discharging mode in the aspects of alleviating the pressure of power grid, reducing system investment and improving energy efficiency.

文摘A decision support system, including a multi-objective optimization framework and a multi-attribute decision making approach is proposed for satellite equipment layout. Finally, the framework and the decision making approach are applied to a case study of a satellite platform.

文摘Combustion noise takes large proportion in diesel engine noise and the studies of its influence factors play an important role in noise reduction. Meanwhile, the power, emission and economy performances are ensured.

文摘This study was conducted to investigate the flow field characteristics of right-angled flow passage with various cavities in the typical hydraulic manifold block.A low-speed visualization test rig was developed and the flow field of the right-angled flow passage with different cavity structures was measured using 2D-PIV technique.Numerical model was established to simulate the three-dimensional flow field.Seven eddy viscosity turbulence models were investigated in predicting the flow field by comparing against the particle image relocimetry(PIV)measurement results.By defining the weight error function K,the S-A model was selected as the appropriate turbulence model. Then,a three-factor,three-level response surface numerical test was conducted to investigate the influence of flow passage connection type, cavity diameter and cavity length-diameter ratio on pressure loss. The results show that the Box-Benhnken Design(BBD)model can predict the total pressure loss accurately. The optimal factor level appeared in flow passage connection type II,14.64 mm diameter and 67.53%cavity length-diameter ratio. The total pressure loss decreased by 11.15%relative to the worst factor level, and total pressure loss can be reduced by 64.75%when using an arc transition right-angled flow passage, which indicates a new direction for the optimization design of flow passage in hydraulic manifold blocks.

文摘In terms of tandem cold mill productivity and product quality, a multi-objective optimization model of rolling schedule based on cost fimction was proposed to determine the stand reductions, inter-stand tensions and rolling speeds for a specified product. The proposed schedule optimization model consists of several single cost fi.mctions, which take rolling force, motor power, inter-stand tension and stand reduction into consideration. The cost function, which can evaluate how far the rolling parameters are from the ideal values, was minimized using the Nelder-Mead simplex method. The proposed rolling schedule optimization method has been applied successfully to the 5-stand tandem cold mill in Tangsteel, and the results from a case study show that the proposed method is superior to those based on empirical formulae.

文摘In order to improve the performance of multi-objective workflow scheduling in cloud system, a multi-swarm multiobjective optimization algorithm(MSMOOA) is proposed to satisfy multiple conflicting objectives. The experiment results highlight the better performance of the MSMOOA than that of compared algorithms.

文摘In the past few decades, applications of geostationary orbit (GEO) satellites have attracted increasing attention, and with the development of optical technologies, GEO optical satellites have become popular worldwide. This paper proposes a general working pattern for a GEO optical satellite, as well as a target observation mission planning model. After analyzing the requirements of users and satellite control agencies, two objectives are simultaneously considered: maximization of total profit and minimization of satellite attitude maneuver angle. An NSGA-II based multi-objective optimization algorithm is proposed, which contains some heuristic principles in the initialization phase and mutation operator, and is embedded with a traveling salesman problem (TSP) optimization. The validity and performance of the proposed method are verified by extensive numerical simulations that include several types of point target distributions.
