Limit equilibrium analysis for stability of soil nailed slope and optimum design of soil nailing parameters 被引量:5

Reinforcement of slopes using soil nailing can effectively improve slope stability, and it has been widely used in upgrading cut slopes. Based on the assumptions of stresses on the slip surface, a new method for analyzing the stability of a slope reinforced with soil nails was established in the limit equilibrium theory framework, by considering that slope sliding occurs owing to shear failure of the slip surface, which subjects to Mohr–Coulomb(M–C) strength criterion. Meanwhile, in order to easily analyze the stability of a soil nailed slope in actual engineering and facilitate optimum design of parameters for soil nailing, factor of safety(FOS) contour curve charts were drawn on the basis of the established linear proportional relationship between the spacing of soil nails and slope height, and the length of soil nails and slope height. Then, by analyzing and verifying the results obtained from classic examples, some conclusions can be got as follows: 1) The results obtained from the current method are close to those obtained from the traditional limit equilibrium methods, and the current method can provide a strict solution for the slope FOS as it satisfies all the static equilibrium conditions of a sliding body, thus confirming the feasibility of the current method; 2) The slope FOS contour curve charts can be used not only to reliably analyze the stability of a soil nailed slope, but also to design optimally the parameters of soil nailing for the slope with a certain safety requirement. 展开更多

The finite element analysis and the optimum design of aluminum profile extrusion mould were investigated using the ANSYS software and its parameterized modeling method. The optimum dimensions of the mould were obtained. It is found that the stress distribution is very uneven, and the stress convergence is rather severe in the bridge of the aluminum profile extrusion mould. The optimum height of the mould is 70.527 mm, and the optimum radius of dividing holes are 70.182 mm and 80.663 mm. Increasing the height of the mould in the range of 61.282 mm to 70.422 mm can prolong its longevity, but when the height is over 70.422 mm, its longevity reduces. 展开更多

To obtain the optimal process parameters of stamping forming, finite element analysis and optimization technique were integrated via transforming multi-objective issue into a single-objective issue. A Pareto-based genetic algorithm was applied to optimizing the head stamping forming process. In the proposed optimal model, fracture, wrinkle and thickness varying are a function of several factors, such as fillet radius, draw-bead position, blank size and blank-holding force. Hence, it is necessary to investigate the relationship between the objective functions and the variables in order to make objective functions varying minimized simultaneously. Firstly, the central composite experimental(CCD) with four factors and five levels was applied, and the experimental data based on the central composite experimental were acquired. Then, the response surface model(RSM) was set up and the results of the analysis of variance(ANOVA) show that it is reliable to predict the fracture, wrinkle and thickness varying functions by the response surface model. Finally, a Pareto-based genetic algorithm was used to find out a set of Pareto front, which makes fracture, wrinkle and thickness varying minimized integrally. A head stamping case indicates that the present method has higher precision and practicability compared with the "trial and error" procedure. 展开更多

To enhance machining efficiency,tool change time has to be reduced.Thus,for an automatic tool changer attached to a machining center,the tool change time is to be reduced.Also the automatic tool changer is a main part of the machining center as a driving source.The static attributes of the automatic tool changer using the commercial code,ANSYS Workbench V12,were tried to interpret.And the optimum design of automatic tool changer arm was proposed by performing the multi-stage optimum design.The shape optimization of the automatic tool changer was proposed and the result was verified to obtain acceptable improvements.It is possible to obtain an optimized model in which the maximum deformation,maximum stress,and mass are reduced by 10.46%,12.89% and 9.26%,respectively,compared with those of the initial model.Also,the results between conventional method by the design of experiments and proposed method by the multi-stage optimum design method were compared. 展开更多

In the constrained reentry trajectory design of hypersonic vehicles, multiple objectives with priorities bring about more difficulties to find the optimal solution. Therefore, a multi-objective reentry trajectory optimization (MORTO) approach via generalized varying domain (GVD) is proposed. Using the direct collocation approach, the trajectory optimization problem involving multiple objectives is discretized into a nonlinear multi-objective programming with priorities. In terms of fuzzy sets, the objectives are fuzzified into three types of fuzzy goals, and their constant tolerances are substituted by the varying domains. According to the principle that the objective with higher priority has higher satisfactory degree, the priority requirement is modeled as the order constraints of the varying domains. The corresponding two-side, single-side, and hybrid-side varying domain models are formulated for three fuzzy relations respectively. By regulating the parameter, the optimal reentry trajectory satisfying priorities can be achieved. Moreover, the performance about the parameter is analyzed, and the algorithm to find its specific value for maximum priority difference is proposed. The simulations demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method for hypersonic vehicles, and the comparisons with the traditional methods and sensitivity analysis are presented. 展开更多

The design of mini-missiles(MMs)presents several novel challenges.The stringent mission requirement to reach a target with a certain precision imposes a high guidance precision.The miniaturization of the size of MMs makes the design of the guidance,navigation,and control(GNC)have a larger-thanbefore impact on the main-body design(shape,motor,and layout design)and its design objective,i.e.,flight performance.Pursuing a trade-off between flight performance and guidance precision,all the relevant interactions have to be accounted for in the design of the main body and the GNC system.Herein,a multi-objective and multidisciplinary design optimization(MDO)is proposed.Disciplines pertinent to motor,aerodynamics,layout,trajectory,flight dynamics,control,and guidance are included in the proposed MDO framework.The optimization problem seeks to maximize the range and minimize the guidance error.The problem is solved by using the nondominated sorting genetic algorithm II.An optimum design that balances a longer range with a smaller guidance error is obtained.Finally,lessons learned about the design of the MM and insights into the trade-off between flight performance and guidance precision are given by comparing the optimum design to a design provided by the traditional approach. 展开更多

The adsorption of the bentonite toward Ni(II) from aqueous solution was studied to obtain optimum conditions,equilibrium model,thermodynamic and kinetic parameters.Statistical method was used to evaluate maximum amount of adsorbed Ni(II).In this work,p H of solution during stirring,contact time,initial Ni(II) concentration,particle size of bentonite and amount of bentonite were considered as effective parameters which should be examined.The increase of temperature has negative effect on the Ni(II) adsorption.The equilibrium data were correlated well with Freundlich and Dubinin–Radushkevich isotherm models the correlation coefficients of which are(R^2) 0.994 and 0.971,respectively.This model indicates heterogeneous and chemical absorption or ion exchange process.The values of thermodynamic parameters such as ΔH°,ΔS° and ΔG° of nickel adsorption reveal that it is a spontaneous,exothermic and associative process.The experimental data fit the pseudo-second-order kinetic very well with correlation coefficient(R^2) more than 0.995. 展开更多

This paper puts forward a new integrated design met ho d based on fuzzy matter-element optimization.On the based of analyzing the mod el of multi-objective fuzzy matter-element , the paper defines the m atter-element weightily and changes solving multi-objective fuzzy optimization into solving dependent function K(x) of the single-objective optimization according to the optimization criterion. The paper particularly describes the realization approach of GA process of multi -objective fuzzy matter-element optimization: encode, produce initial populati on, confirm fitness function, select operator, etc. In the process, the adaptive macro genetic algorithms (AMGA) is applied to enhancing the evolution speed. Th e paper improves the two genetic operators: crossover and mutation operator. The modified adaptive macro genetic algorithms (MAMGA) is put forward simultane ously. It is adopted to solve the optimization problem. Three optimization methods, namely fuzzy matter-element optimization method, li nearity weighted method and fuzzy optimization method, are compared by using the table and figure, it shows that not only MAMGA is a little better than the AMGA , but also it reaches the extent to which the effective iteration generation is 62.2% of simple genetic algorithms (SGA). By the calculation of optimum exam ple, the improved method of genetic in the paper is much better than the method in reference of paper. 展开更多

A design and optimization approach of dynamic and control performance for a two-DOF planar manipulator was proposed.After the kinematic and dynamic analysis,several advantages of the mechanism were illustrated,which made it possible to obtain good dynamic and control performances just through mechanism optimization.Based on the idea of design for control(DFC),a novel kind of multi-objective optimization model was proposed.There were three optimization objectives:the index of inertia,the index describing the dynamic coupling effects and the global condition number.Other indexes to characterize the designing requirements such as the velocity of end-effector,the workspace size,and the first mode natural frequency were regarded as the constraints.The cross-section area and length of the linkages were chosen as the design variables.NSGA-II algorithm was introduced to solve this complex multi-objective optimization problem.Additional criteria from engineering experience were incorporated into the selecting of final parameters among the obtained Pareto solution sets.Finally,experiments were performed to validate the linear dynamic structure and control performances of the optimized mechanisms.A new expression for measuring the dynamic coupling degree with clear physical meaning was proposed.The results show that the optimized mechanism has an approximate decoupled dynamics structure,and each active joint can be regarded as a linear SISO system.The control performances of the linear and nonlinear controllers were also compared.It can be concluded that the optimized mechanism can achieve good control performance only using a linear controller. 展开更多

A dynamic model of integrated hydrodynamic-mechanical transmission is built in MATLAB/Simdriveline environment, and an optimum shift schedule is derived by using iSight software to call the dynamic model above, then the shift schedule is achieved after optimization. To increase the robustness of the optimization solutions of the mixed-flow pump,the impeller was firstly indirectly parameterized based on the 2D blade design theory.Secondly,the robustness of the optimization solution was mathematically defined,and then calculated by Monte Carlo sampling method.Thirdly,the optimization on the mixed-flow pump′s impeller was decomposed into the optimal and robust sub-optimization problems,to maximize the pump head and efficiency and minimize the fluctuation degree of them under varying working conditions at the same time.Fourthly,using response surface model,a surrogate model was established between the optimization objectives and control variables of the shape of the impeller.Finally,based on a multi-objective genetic optimization algorithm,a two-loop iterative optimization process was designed to find the optimal solution with good robustness.Comparing the original and optimized pump,it is found that the internal flow field of the optimized pump has been improved under various operating conditions,the hydraulic performance has been improved consequently,and the range of high efficient zone has also been widened.Besides,with the changing of working conditions,the change trend of the hydraulic performance of the optimized pump becomes gentler,the flow field distribution is more uniform,and the influence degree of the varia-tion of working conditions decreases,and the operating stability of the pump is improved.It is concluded that the robust optimization method proposed in this paper is a reasonable way to optimize the mixed-flow pump,and provides references for optimization problems of other fluid machinery. 展开更多

在生成新产品概念设计方案的过程中,企业常缺乏辅助新产品功能描述、分解及创新的设计知识,且存在功能实现技术检索结果可用性不高、难以有效转化为概念设计方案技术特征的问题。为此,提出一种专利数据辅助的新产品概念设计方案生成方... 在生成新产品概念设计方案的过程中,企业常缺乏辅助新产品功能描述、分解及创新的设计知识,且存在功能实现技术检索结果可用性不高、难以有效转化为概念设计方案技术特征的问题。为此,提出一种专利数据辅助的新产品概念设计方案生成方法。首先,使用文本相似度算法,检索国际专利分类表中与设计任务相关的分类号文本,辅助描述新产品的主功能。其次,引入C-K理论将下级分类号释义视为K空间中的元素,新产品子功能视为C空间中的元素,通过元素间转化辅助完成主功能分解。再次,结合专利技术成熟度分析和功能创新策略,确定新产品的功能创新方向,并依据共现分类号释义预测新产品的集成功能,辅助实现新产品的功能创新。接着,应用专利文献跨域特征分析模型,引入技术领域融合度的概念,量化专利技术的知识广度和流动性,辅助优选功能实现技术,并利用语义解析技术自动提取专利独立权利要求中的技术特征,辅助生成新产品概念设计方案。最后,将该方法应用于重型汽车底盘预装设备领域的新产品开发,证明了方法的有效性。 展开更多

为解决基础隔震结构中隔震层位移需求过大的问题,提出了一种基础隔震结构(Base Isolated Structure,BIS)+串并联调谐质量阻尼器惯容器(Tuned Tandem Mass Damper-Inerter, TTMDI)的混合隔震体系。采用Bouc-Wen滞回模型模拟隔震层的非线... 为解决基础隔震结构中隔震层位移需求过大的问题,提出了一种基础隔震结构(Base Isolated Structure,BIS)+串并联调谐质量阻尼器惯容器(Tuned Tandem Mass Damper-Inerter, TTMDI)的混合隔震体系。采用Bouc-Wen滞回模型模拟隔震层的非线性力-变形行为,基于随机等效线性化和模式搜索优化算法并考虑地震动模型,在频域内建立了BIS+TTMDI体系的优化设计框架。分别从鲁棒性、有效性、刚度和阻尼系数、冲程及对地震频率敏感性方面对BIS+TTMDI体系的性能进行评估,并与BIS+调谐质量阻尼器(Tuned Mass Damper, TMD)、串并联调谐质量阻尼器(TunedTandemMassDamper,TTMD)和调谐质量阻尼器惯容器(TunedMass Damper-Inerter, TMDI)进行比较。通过对近场地震动下某七层混合基础隔震结构(包括BIS+TTMDI和BIS+TMDI体系)的动力弹塑性分析,评价了其减/隔震性能。结果表明:BIS+TTMDI体系具有最好的减/隔震性能和强鲁棒性;而且在BIS+TTMDI体系中TTMDI的总阻尼需求不到BIS+TMDI体系中TMDI的一半,因而更为经济实用。 展开更多

为了使太阳能集热器获得更多的太阳辐射量,须对集热器倾角进行优化。文章在建立倾斜面太阳辐射计算模型的基础上,分别优化直接辐射、散射辐射的计算过程。以太阳能集热器运行期间倾斜面接收最大辐射量为求解目标,借助MATLAB对集热器倾... 为了使太阳能集热器获得更多的太阳辐射量,须对集热器倾角进行优化。文章在建立倾斜面太阳辐射计算模型的基础上,分别优化直接辐射、散射辐射的计算过程。以太阳能集热器运行期间倾斜面接收最大辐射量为求解目标,借助MATLAB对集热器倾角进行优化分析,得到月度最佳倾角和年度最佳倾角。其中天津地区的太阳能集热器年度最佳倾角为36.3°,比当地纬度略小;月度最佳倾角为10~64°,表现为夏季小冬季大的特点。相较于水平放置,在年度最佳倾角和月度最佳倾角下,太阳能集热器接收的年太阳辐射量可分别增加12.4%,17.3%;相较当地纬度作为倾角时,以月度最佳倾角值逐月调整接收的太阳辐射量可增加5.0%。分别以广州、拉萨、济南和长春为例,计算得到上述地区的年、月最佳倾角。对不同地区进行对比分析发现,直接辐射占比较高的地区逐月改变最佳倾角可获得更高的能量增益。 展开更多

基础隔震结构附加变化型调谐质量惯容阻尼器的优化设计研究

在强震作用下基础隔震结构的隔震层将发生非常大的水平变形。已有研究表明采用在基础隔震结构的隔震层附加变化型调谐质量阻尼器(VTMD)的混合控制策略能够有效降低隔震层的水平变形需求,然而该混合控制策略最大的缺陷在于需要很大的调... 在强震作用下基础隔震结构的隔震层将发生非常大的水平变形。已有研究表明采用在基础隔震结构的隔震层附加变化型调谐质量阻尼器(VTMD)的混合控制策略能够有效降低隔震层的水平变形需求,然而该混合控制策略最大的缺陷在于需要很大的调谐质量。考虑到惯容装置具有明显的质量放大效应,本文提出将惯容装置(Inerter)与VTMD中的阻尼器并联,从而形成具有较小调谐质量的变化型调谐质量惯容阻尼器(VTMDI),并将其附加在基础隔震结构的隔震层,基于随机振动的分析框架开展了VTMDI参数的优化设计研究。研究表明直接将基础隔震结构的上部结构层间变形作为优化目标的传统优化策略并不经济有效。为此,本文提出了一种基于两步优化法的优化策略,该优化策略首先确保附加VTMDI的基础隔震结构相对于附加相同阻尼的基础隔震结构具有更优的控制效果;然后确保附加VTMDI的基础隔震结构的上部结构层间变形最小。通过动力时程分析结果表明:两种优化策略都能有效降低隔震层的水平变形和上部结构的层间变形,同时不会导致调谐质量出现过大的运动行程,基于两步优化法的优化策略更为经济有效。 展开更多

为了研究离心泵发生汽蚀过程时其内部流动规律和对其汽蚀性能的优化设计,在结合传统优化方法的基础上,提出神经网络与遗传算法结合的智能优化方法。通过Plackett-Burman试验设计从离心泵的叶轮进出口直径、进出口安放角、叶片数、叶片... 为了研究离心泵发生汽蚀过程时其内部流动规律和对其汽蚀性能的优化设计,在结合传统优化方法的基础上,提出神经网络与遗传算法结合的智能优化方法。通过Plackett-Burman试验设计从离心泵的叶轮进出口直径、进出口安放角、叶片数、叶片包角等7个设计参数中筛选出显著影响的3个优化设计变量。叶片出口宽度、叶片包角和叶轮出口直径3个优化设计变量,其影响汽蚀性能的显著性由大到小。运用拉丁超立方抽样方法抽取30组设计方案,分别进行数值模拟计算,得出相应的汽蚀余量值。建立神经网络模型,结合遗传算法在规定范围内进行寻优,得到最优设计变量组合及最优汽蚀余量值。取优化后的参数进行数值模拟计算,优化后的离心泵在相同工况下汽蚀余量降低了43.1%,说明优化后的离心泵抗汽蚀性能显著提高。 展开更多
