Solving material distribution routing problem in mixed manufacturing systems with a hybrid multi-objective evolutionary algorithm 被引量:7

The material distribution routing problem in the manufacturing system is a complex combinatorial optimization problem and its main task is to deliver materials to the working stations with low cost and high efficiency. A multi-objective model was presented for the material distribution routing problem in mixed manufacturing systems, and it was solved by a hybrid multi-objective evolutionary algorithm (HMOEA). The characteristics of the HMOEA are as follows: 1) A route pool is employed to preserve the best routes for the population initiation; 2) A specialized best?worst route crossover (BWRC) mode is designed to perform the crossover operators for selecting the best route from Chromosomes 1 to exchange with the worst one in Chromosomes 2, so that the better genes are inherited to the offspring; 3) A route swap mode is used to perform the mutation for improving the convergence speed and preserving the better gene; 4) Local heuristics search methods are applied in this algorithm. Computational study of a practical case shows that the proposed algorithm can decrease the total travel distance by 51.66%, enhance the average vehicle load rate by 37.85%, cut down 15 routes and reduce a deliver vehicle. The convergence speed of HMOEA is faster than that of famous NSGA-II. 展开更多

The operation variables,including feed rate of ore slurry,caustic solution and live steams in the double-stream alumina digestion process,determine the product quality,process costs and the environment pollution.Previously,they were set by the technical workers according to the offline analysis results and an empirical formula,which leads to unstable process indices and high consumption frequently.So,a multi-objective optimization model is built to maintain the balance between resource consumptions and process indices by taking technical indices and energy efficiency as objectives,where the key technical indices are predicted based on the digestion kinetics of diaspore.A multi-objective state transition algorithm(MOSTA)is improved to solve the problem,in which a self-adaptive strategy is applied to dynamically adjust the operator factors of the MOSTA and dynamic infeasible threshold is used to handle constraints to enhance searching efficiency and ability of the algorithm.Then a rule based strategy is designed to make the final decision from the Pareto frontiers.The method is integrated into an optimal control system for the industrial digestion process and tested in the actual production.Results show that the proposed method can achieve the technical target while reducing the energy consumption. 展开更多

This work proposes a novel approach for multi-type optimal placement of flexible AC transmission system(FACTS) devices so as to optimize multi-objective voltage stability problem. The current study discusses a way for locating and setting of thyristor controlled series capacitor(TCSC) and static var compensator(SVC) using the multi-objective optimization approach named strength pareto multi-objective evolutionary algorithm(SPMOEA). Maximization of the static voltage stability margin(SVSM) and minimizations of real power losses(RPL) and load voltage deviation(LVD) are taken as the goals or three objective functions, when optimally locating multi-type FACTS devices. The performance and effectiveness of the proposed approach has been validated by the simulation results of the IEEE 30-bus and IEEE 118-bus test systems. The proposed approach is compared with non-dominated sorting particle swarm optimization(NSPSO) algorithm. This comparison confirms the usefulness of the multi-objective proposed technique that makes it promising for determination of combinatorial problems of FACTS devices location and setting in large scale power systems. 展开更多

The relations between t... In this paper, the naturally evolving complex systems, such as biotic and social ones, are considered. Focusing on their structures, a feature is noteworthy, i.e., the similarity in structures. The relations between the functions and behaviors of these systems and their similar structures will be studied. Owing to the management of social systems and the course of evolution of biotic systems may be regarded as control processes, the researches will be within the scope of control problems. Moreover, since it is difficult to model for biotic and social systems, it will start with the control problems of complex systems, possessing similar structures, in engineering. The obtained results show that for either linear or nonlinear systems and for a lot of control problems similar structures lead to a series of simplifications. In general, the original system may be decomposed into reduced amount of subsystems with lower dimensions and simpler structures. By virtue of such subsystems, the control problems of original system can be solved more simply. At last, it turns round to observe the biotic and social systems and some analyses are given. 展开更多

The industrial Internet of Things(IIoT)is a new indus-trial idea that combines the latest information and communica-tion technologies with the industrial economy.In this paper,a cloud control structure is designed for IIoT in cloud-edge envi-ronment with three modes of 5G.For 5G based IIoT,the time sensitive network(TSN)service is introduced in transmission network.A 5G logical TSN bridge is designed to transport TSN streams over 5G framework to achieve end-to-end configuration.For a transmission control protocol(TCP)model with nonlinear disturbance,time delay and uncertainties,a robust adaptive fuzzy sliding mode controller(AFSMC)is given with control rule parameters.IIoT workflows are made up of a series of subtasks that are linked by the dependencies between sensor datasets and task flows.IIoT workflow scheduling is a non-deterministic polynomial(NP)-hard problem in cloud-edge environment.An adaptive and non-local-convergent particle swarm optimization(ANCPSO)is designed with nonlinear inertia weight to avoid falling into local optimum,which can reduce the makespan and cost dramatically.Simulation and experiments demonstrate that ANCPSO has better performances than other classical algo-rithms. 展开更多

城市轨道交通限流背景下的协作疏解研究

针对现阶段对城市轨道交通网络限流场景下的被限制客流转运关注不足等问题,对特定限流条件下转运车辆线路布设和运力配置进行研究。首先,分析量化不同转运线路条件下,乘客选择乘坐转运车辆的效用和选择概率。在此基础上,以最小化总期望... 针对现阶段对城市轨道交通网络限流场景下的被限制客流转运关注不足等问题,对特定限流条件下转运车辆线路布设和运力配置进行研究。首先,分析量化不同转运线路条件下,乘客选择乘坐转运车辆的效用和选择概率。在此基础上,以最小化总期望旅行时间、最小化转运车辆开行成本、最大化轨道交通网络拥堵区间客流疏解量为目标,构建了限流场景下转运车辆线路设计和运力规划模型。为提高模型求解效率,将模型拆解为开行路径优化和开行方案优化两个子问题,把第1个子问题转换为旅行商问题,将获得的备选线路路径作为第2个子问题的输入进行模型求解。依托成都市轨道交通网络和早高峰时段的客流数据,验证不同限流强度下所提模型的有效性,讨论了转运线路对停站点数量和停靠站点选取的偏好。结果表明:目标值表现良好的线路多为停站点为2-3个的路径,在停靠站点的选取上高度集中,对3-4个特定路径的偏好显著;随着限流强度的逐步加强,偏好于选择停站数量较少、走行距离较短的线路以达到快速转运的需求,在开行班次的选取上,整体上呈现线性增长趋势,但当限流强度大于0.8时,单一线路难以满足转运需求,不再保持线性增长趋势。 展开更多

一次循环法(工程师法、等待加重法)和二次循环法(司钻法)压井过程中存在压力传播滞后、井内原钻井液不能循环利用和需等待配制压井液等问题,循环加重法则存在不能控制井内压力、加重幅度难以确定等问题,这些方法操作难度大、可靠性差,... 一次循环法(工程师法、等待加重法)和二次循环法(司钻法)压井过程中存在压力传播滞后、井内原钻井液不能循环利用和需等待配制压井液等问题,循环加重法则存在不能控制井内压力、加重幅度难以确定等问题,这些方法操作难度大、可靠性差,容易压井失败。为使井喷压井可靠、简单,且一次压井成功,从井内压力平衡关系与控制方法入手,深入分析了现有3种常规压井方法,提出了“液量稳定”循环压井方法。用控制循环液量稳定的方法可以达到井内压力实时平衡,并一次压井成功。研究形成了发生溢流初期、已形成气体集中段和环空已喷空3种情况下的“液量稳定”循环压井方法,提出了排除溢流时超高套压的控制方法、用压力平衡方程和气体状态方程建立方程组求解套压与环空气体密度等参数的方法以及套管压力控制压井方法。研究表明,“液量稳定”循环压井方法能够实现平衡压力循环压井,为提高压井方法的科学性与可操作性开辟了新途径。 展开更多

To improve the mainlainability design efficiency and quality, a layout optimization method for maintainability of multi-component systems was proposed. The impact of the component layout design on system maintainability was analyzed, and the layout problem for maintainability was presented. It was formulated as an optimization problem, where maintainability, layout space and distance requirement were formulated as objective functions. A multi-objective particle swarm optimization algorithm, in which the constrained-domination relationship and the update strategy of the global best were simply modified, was then used to obtain Pareto optimal solutions for the maintainability layout design problem. Finally, application in oxygen generation system of a spacecraft was studied in detail to illustrate the effectiveness and usefulness of the proposed method. The results show that the concurrent maintainability design can be carried out during the layout design process by solving the layout optimization problem for maintainability. 展开更多

A design and optimization approach of dynamic and control performance for a two-DOF planar manipulator was proposed.After the kinematic and dynamic analysis,several advantages of the mechanism were illustrated,which made it possible to obtain good dynamic and control performances just through mechanism optimization.Based on the idea of design for control(DFC),a novel kind of multi-objective optimization model was proposed.There were three optimization objectives:the index of inertia,the index describing the dynamic coupling effects and the global condition number.Other indexes to characterize the designing requirements such as the velocity of end-effector,the workspace size,and the first mode natural frequency were regarded as the constraints.The cross-section area and length of the linkages were chosen as the design variables.NSGA-II algorithm was introduced to solve this complex multi-objective optimization problem.Additional criteria from engineering experience were incorporated into the selecting of final parameters among the obtained Pareto solution sets.Finally,experiments were performed to validate the linear dynamic structure and control performances of the optimized mechanisms.A new expression for measuring the dynamic coupling degree with clear physical meaning was proposed.The results show that the optimized mechanism has an approximate decoupled dynamics structure,and each active joint can be regarded as a linear SISO system.The control performances of the linear and nonlinear controllers were also compared.It can be concluded that the optimized mechanism can achieve good control performance only using a linear controller. 展开更多

As a new-style stochastic algorithm, the electromagnetism-like mechanism(EM) method gains more and more attention from many researchers in recent years. A novel model based on EM(NMEM) for multiobjective optimization problems is proposed, which regards the charge of all particles as the constraints in the current population and the measure of the uniformity of non-dominated solutions as the objective function. The charge of the particle is evaluated based on the dominated concept, and its magnitude determines the direction of a force between two particles. Numerical studies are carried out on six complex test functions and the experimental results demonstrate that the proposed NMEM algorithm is a very robust method for solving the multiobjective optimization problems. 展开更多

Under the controller the system works near an optimal steady-state for the volumetric productivity of 1,3-propanediol attaining its maximization. The design procedure is carried out by tuning the transformation parameter and DC gain of the performance weighted function, which is an iterative and optimal search process. Simulation results are presented which show that the designed robust controller not only ensures the robust stability of the system in face of the parametric variations in the model, but also makes the system have a favourable robust tracking performance. A mathematical approach was proposed to investigate the impact of high penetration of large-scale photovoltaic park(LPP) on small-signal stability of a power network and design of hybrid controller for these units.A systematic procedure was performed to obtain the complete model of a multi-machine power network including LPP.For damping of oscillations focusing on inter-area oscillatory modes,a hybrid controller for LPP was proposed.The performance of the suggested controller was tested using a 16-machine 5-area network.The results indicate that the proposed hybrid controller for LPP provides sufficient damping to the low-frequency modes of power system for a wide range of operating conditions.The method presented in this work effectively indentifies the impact of increased PV penetration and its controller on dynamic performance of multi-machine power network containing LPP.Simulation results demonstrate that the model presented can be used in designing of essential controllers for LPP. 展开更多

解列是电力系统在故障时结构完整性得不到保证的情况下分裂为2个或多个孤立稳定运行子系统的过程或操作。及时恰当的主动解列操作将能有效地避免因保护连锁动作使得电力系统被动解列而崩溃所造成的巨额经济损失。结合图论中的相关概念... 解列是电力系统在故障时结构完整性得不到保证的情况下分裂为2个或多个孤立稳定运行子系统的过程或操作。及时恰当的主动解列操作将能有效地避免因保护连锁动作使得电力系统被动解列而崩溃所造成的巨额经济损失。结合图论中的相关概念和输电网最优解列的物理过程,建立电力系统最优主动解列断面选择问题的完整数学模型,并基于含连通图约束的背包问题(connected graph constrained knapsack problem,CGKP)及其求解算法提出“搜索+调整”的2阶段求解方法。为降低问题的复杂性,将完整数学模型分解成图的最优平衡分割问题和基于优化潮流的调节问题,并分2个阶段分别求解。其中,图的最优平衡分割问题又被分解成多个CGKP,利用基于含CGKP的图分割方法进行求解。所提出的主动解列策略具有较强理论基础,计算复杂度低,算例的计算结果证明了该模型及算法的正确性和有效性。 展开更多

A class of large-scale systems, where the overall objective function is a nonlinear function of performance index of each subsystem, is investigated in this paper. This type of large-scale control problem is non-separable in the sense of conventional hierarchical control. Hierarchical control is extended in the paper to large-scale non-separable control problems, where multiobjective optimization is used as separation strategy. The large-scale non-separable control problem is embedded, under certain conditions, into a family of the weighted Lagrangian formulation. The weighted Lagrangian formulation is separable with respect to subsystems and can be effectively solved using the interaction balance approach at the two lower levels in the proposed three-level solution structure. At the third level, the weighting vector for the weighted Lagrangian formulation is adjusted iteratively to search the optimal weighting vector with which the optimal of the original large-scale non-separable control problem is obtained. Theoretical base of the algorithm is established. Simulation shows that the algorithm is effective. 展开更多
